Absolutely loved this spot! The food is incredible and has that authentic, homemade taste you can't beat. The atmosphere is so cozy, making it the perfect place to settle in for a meal. I highly recommend trying the Eggs Benedict and their burger—both were outstanding! Definitely a must-visit

Kitchen in the Canyon is a true local gem! Located right by the art and design college’s south campus, it has such a welcoming, creative vibe. One of the best perks is the free parking right in front, which is a rare and welcome find in Laguna Beach! Our group tried a bit of everything: the steel-cut oatmeal, pancakes, the breakfast sandwich, and the 'Eggs Please' plate. Every single dish was a hit—everyone left very happy. The latte was also delicious and perfectly made. Beyond the food, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, checking on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. This is definitely a place you’ll want to visit again and again. Highly recommended!

We have been in Laguna 4 nights and this is the best breakfast. I had the yogurt bowl with lemon curd. So good and my wife had the avacado toast with a perfect poached egg. This is her third time ordering avacado toast in Laguna and the best so far. The honey cinnamon lattes were delicious.

What a fantastic hidden gem! Don't settle for typical cafe food. We went for breakfast, and the menu has some very good unique choices. The service was great and the food was absolutely 💯 % delicious. I cannot wait to return as I saw some really delicious breakfast dishes being carried past us.

If you’re searching for a delightful breakfast spot in Laguna, look no further than Kitchen In The Canyon. Nestled in a picturesque setting, this restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere perfect for starting your day. Food: The breakfast menu is a true highlight, featuring an array of delicious options. I indulged in their oatmeal topped with fresh strawberries, bananas, blueberries, and raspberries, which was both hearty and refreshing. The balance of flavors was perfect, and the presentation was beautiful. Additionally, the crispy bacon strips were a delightful complement, adding just the right amount of savory to my meal. Each bite was a testament to their commitment to quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Large windows provide stunning views of the surrounding canyon, enhancing the dining experience. The outdoor seating area is particularly charming, perfect for enjoying a sunny morning. Very high quality food and good vibe restaurant. Their burger is very tasty, juicy, delicious and the portion of the food is very good. Also I found the staffs are really friendly. Without doubt adding this restaurant to your Art districts visit would be a perfect combination.

The waffle fries are the best I’ve had. Hot and fresh, seasoned well, and from real potatoes (not from premade and frozen, at least I don’t think so). The pumpkin pie latte and strawberry lemonade are all very good.

The food was delicious, recommend. It has free parking too which I did not realize cuz I parked ahead lol so watch out for that, its a mildly hidden so a bit hard to spot. An insane amount of variety for drinks, which is refreshing, most places barely have soda, beer and regular coffee. Great honey cinnamon latte and hot matcha too

My husband and I caught up with extended family while visiting California. Though it was cool in the morning, we enjoyed eating on the patio under the heat lamps. Very friendly staff, great food! Lots of options for gluten free.

Cozy, calm, coastal ambiance nestled in the canyon. Counter order with friendly and efficient service. Lots of yummy breakfast, salad, and sandwich options on the menu. Also lots of coffee and other drinks that I would love to try on a return visit. This would get 4.5 stars for the food if that was an option - we ordered the chicken pesto panini and clubhouse sandwich. Both were good, but nothing overly special. I will say the fries are amazing, though!

I love this place. I should’ve done review a lot sooner. Space is clean and has many seating outside and inside. Food is pretty good but omelet can be larger. Coffee is decent even for snobbish coffee drinker like myself. You have to order at ordering station like fast food but they do bring food to you. They ask for tip at ordering stage— I don’t like this system. It’s like teacher giving grade at the start of semester. Other than that I’m pretty happy with pricing for food value etc

Nice area to be in. Food is good, my omelette was a little bland and green salsa lacked favor. Definitely a positive buzz in the location. Plenty of shaded outdoor seating on benches. Check my profile for cabin rental near Big Bear

Great selection, we had the steak burrito and Monte Cristo. Both were delicious, if a little lite on the sauces, but they have us extra when asked!

This is a breakfast and lunch eatery hidden on the way to downtown Laguna Beach, truly in the canyon. We had the cappuccino with rose syrup, so creative. The steak burrito was crafted with loads of tender steak and eggs. Monte Cristo was a delightful combination of French toast, ham, turkey and cheese served with side of cranberry relish and fries, ever so delicious. A basic comfy restaurant akin to a wonderful diner atmosphere.

Friendly staff, the food could definitely be better. The fries used to be good and fresh, now they taste like they were refried and old. Staff is friendly and ambiance is nice though. Coffee is good. Breakfast isn’t bad but could be improved. Pretty pricey for the quality you get.

The food is not the point. This is the ideal location for a quick outing with the family (a hike in the canyon or a walk on the beach). The service is great. The staff is friendly, and quick to help. Breakfast sandwich was not special, but good.

Not sure why this place has so many good reviews, maybe I caught them on a bad day. Server didn't greet me upon arrival. Hash browns were so dry and the turkey sausage links were rock hard and dry. Homemade Raspberry jelly was flavorless and sour. Not sure how you mess up breakfast but they did
