I hidden gem which was just what I needed after waiting for a very long time at the DMV. Spoiler alert: everything I tried was amazing, and I didn't even try the pies! (Which is what this restaurant is known for). This restaurant has a wide variety of meals as is accustomed with most diners. I got the Salisbury steak while my dad got the pimento cheese, both were amazing. For desert we shared a giant cinnamon roll which was spectacular. Even the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with all the unique retro-ish posters. A hidden gem I definitely recommend!

It was a cool fall morning just as the sun was warming the air when we stopped by Polly’s for breakfast. It was 8:15 and the pie display had some tasty looking pumpkin pies amongst others, we were quickly seated by the masked staff and enjoyed a tasty breakfast. Pumpkin spice is all the rage so I had to try the flavored coffee, relatively mild taste and quite enjoyable. The breakfast burrito was fair sized with a small cup of fruit. I do look forward to next time when I try some pie.

Had breakfast here a couple of times which was very good and they have specials during the week, they also have a great selection of pies to choose from.

We traveled to Southern California to be able to spend time with my wife's soon to be 105 year old aunt. We choose Polly's Pies in Laguna Woods, because we all are fans of Polly's, yes because of the great pies, but also because they have a very good menu, especially for breakfast and brunch. Aunty chose their chicken nuggets, which she all but finished, I chose that hot chocolate and an omelet, and someone chose a chicken sandwich. Our waitress was excellent, very accommodating and kind. She listened carefully even with all of the time we took in deciding, lol. The food was quite good, and this particular location is open, clean and inviting. The service was friendly, fast and we took our time to enjoy our time together. Our waitress regularly checked in with us to make sure our needs were fulfilled. I think this is one of the best of their locations, abs we have enjoyed several others. The parking was close and easy. Highly recommend

First visit, I got the Chicken Fried steak and mashed potatoes. All good quality, although I thought the dinner rolls tasted a little like a biscuit, but still OK. The boysenberry pie was very good, as expected. Table server was a little surly at first, but later got better.

A fun cafe to meet up with family. The bakery at the front smells like heaven. I have been here a lot over the years - the decor has stayed the same. Convenient location with adequate parking. Sometimes the service is slow and the last time I was there with family our order was messed up somehow. I would visit again though - yummy cinnamon rolls 😋🥧

Grat service, food is good for the value. Lacks immensely in atmosphere, too antiseptic, feels like an old hospital cafeteria. Bring in some color some joy to the place, it's not an expesive project and it would warm it up!

Don’t know where problem was-GrubHub and/or Polly’s. Salad was dry-very small amount of dressing. Cornbread was cold. Pie was delicious! Bag was left in pile of dirt and leaves after I requested hand off! Overall disappointing experience

I was disappointed with our visit to Polly’s. Having heard a lot about this diner, I had higher hopes. Service was great but the pies were pretty awful. The chicken pie came out tepid and the crust pretty soggy. Didn’t taste fresh at all. Sad times. Dessert pie was also pretty soggy. Please serve fresher! Thanks.

Joseph terrible customer service on phone. I was told that Polly's Pies has the local Globe newspaper as there as many senior citizens that frequent this restaurant. I called and Joseph answered. I started to ask him if they had any of those newspapers there and he said we don't carry the newspaper and hung up on me!! So so rude I can't believe this man works there. Don't know if he just works there or is a manager but he is terrible for business

Went today on Veteran’s Day. We wanted to give them another chance having stopped going since their fumigation. First told that cookies that I wanted to pay with my meal ticket was my error for not telling the Carlos to add to my ticket. Having done this before with no issues was a bit surprised. The cashier pulled the pumpkin cookies that were packaged to add to my selection which I understood that she would use the container for the other cookies I wanted. After I paid for the cookies, they discovered that no snickerdoodles were also not available. After sticking a few of my cookies in white sleeves rather than placing them in the multiple cookie container and breaking a few of them. I said “No” I already had broken cookies so forget it they could keep them and the payment. So much for giving them a chance. Chicken Pie combination super salty and over microwaved to a flat mess as was the mashed potatoes . Corn bread moist and scrumptious cranberry sauce tart and cinnamony. Polly’s burger not too bad but pretty skimpy and the fries were cold. All in all a great meal for a vet. So sad not even going back for the pies.

We went for their breakfast special. The food wasn't bad but I hated it that they served us donut holes and told us those are pancake bites that we ordered. Look at the pictures. Don't treat your customers like idiots who can't tell apples from orange. I didn't want to make a scene and accept the food but I know what you're trying to do.
