if you are going to charge so much for your fries, then you should at least fill them to the top....it's the little things that turn people off from fast food.
I know, I know, "Are you seriously reviewing McDonald? " I'm definitely a social observer, and I like to check out what the big boys are doing today. I was hooked by the window poster featuring McRibs. I got my McRibs, and my first question, opening the box, is: Has this sandwich been shrunk? or am I growing bigger? Na, this sandwich is smaller. From a money, economic sense, it makes sense, but ironically, we really should be eating less, but paying more for it ? The sandwich was fine, but it's becoming more of an hors d'oeuvre. Ronald McDonald quit playing mind games with us!
I recently ventured to enjoy a Double Quarter Pounder, only to find it shy of a patty, turning my anticipated duo into a solo act, a discovery made only after I returned home. In these times of inflation, I appreciate a good surprise, but my taste buds were slightly bewildered by this minimalist approach.
I wait in line for 20 minutes. They said something was wrong with their system and they were fixing it and it would be just a few minutes. This of course is no fault of the employees. However, the guy on the drive-through could have been much nicer about everything and had a better sense of customer service. Once I finally got my food, they had forgotten one item plus they didn’t give me my receipt. I had to ask for it. The fries were undercooked and totally disgusting! The burger was cold, and the bread was a bit hard around the edges. Probably the worst experience I have had at a McDonald’s
The guy who seems to be supervisor is rude. His behavior was disrespectful for a simple service.
Paid for an item online, but “their system was down,” so they were turning people away, and not giving them what they paid for. Whatever, no big deal, this stuff happens. They said I needed to get a refund through the app, but now I’m being told they were supposed to refund me then. Stealing from your customers is a weird thing to do. Edit: In response to the reply, I tried that, no luck.
Ate here a couple months ago, ants everywhere, burger had... unknown toppings. Only good thing was the fries and drink. But will not come back even if it's my last choice
I've been standing in McDonald's for over 10 minutes, and they haven't even started preparing my order. It's complete chaos — employees are walking back and forth, no one is rushing, and they're paying zero attention to the delivery drivers. It feels like they just don't care. Both the customer and I are suffering because of this delay. The work is very poorly organized.
Ordered an iced coffee on app. It was full of coffee grounds and a big chunk of napkin like material was sucked up as I was drinking it. Disgusting
Wasn't able to get food, ended up leaving after waiting inside for 25 mins with nobody able to take an order, 2 people in front of me in line left without food, the drive thru was 14 cars long. I don't normally go to McDonald's often, but I just felt like getting a mcgriddle. I'll never go to this location again.
The worst customer service at the 2nd drive through window today. They made a mistake on my kids meal order and I had to drive back and got back in line again to pick up the missing apple slices. When I was finally at the window, she asked my 3-year-old to give back the kids fries that my kid already started to eat while waiting this whole time in exchange for the apple slices otherwise she would charge me extra for the apple slices. She started arguing with me how it doesn't make sense that my kid didn't want fries and wanted to substitute for apple slices but still ate the fries. I felt it was super unprofessional to question why a hungry kid ate the food in her box while waiting in a long line even though it's not what she initially wanted. If they had not made the mistake on the order in the first place, my kid would not had ate what's not her favorite. The argument was so frustrating so I gave up and started to drive away, and then she gave me the apples... It was a very unnecessarily frustrating experience. This is actually not the first time we get orders wrong. Previous I didn't bother to go back but today I did because my kid was upset. I would never come to this location again.
I am writing to share my experience as a DoorDash driver at your McDonald's location in Laguna Niguel (near La Paz and Alicia Creek). For the past three days in a row, I have had to wait 15–20 minutes for orders to be prepared. These long delays create serious problems: They affect customer satisfaction, since the food is no longer fresh when it arrives. They damage my performance metrics on the DoorDash platform. They cause drivers like myself to lose valuable time and income. I kindly ask that you review your order preparation process and take steps to improve the speed and efficiency of service for delivery drivers. Faster and more organized service will benefit not only customers, but also McDonald’s reputation and partnership with delivery platforms. Thank you for your attention. I hope to see positive changes soon.
Quality way down again. Food was brought out to my car 5mins AFTER the app says the food is ready. Burgers and fries were served cold. McChicken has sauce all over the outside of the bun. You can see in the photo the bun placement on the filet-o-fish. McFlurry was spilling over - they use a paper cup now which doesn’t hold shape. I usually eat inside my car and this was a challenge. Did the staff change recently?
I went to the McDonald’s on Union Avenue in Tacoma, along with my son and daughter-in-law. There were two pick up windows and the guy who took my credit card did not tell us which window to get our food from. We waited 20 minutes while at least 10 other people got their orders. Finally, an employee asked what we ordered, but then said that that he knew. When we try to complain about the poor service, he said that the food was being cooked to order. A second employee then came out and told us that the first employee had given our order to someone else, so he lied. He also had a attitude. The second employee apologized and we asked to speak to the manager. She also had an attitude and later accused us of making racial comments to her and the first employee, both of whom were African-American. This was emphatically, not true, so both of them lied about that as well. When my son called a general number to complain about the service, the guy on the phone accused him of making racially charged statements, even though he only had access to video, not any audio recording. At no time did we make any racial comments or curse words. We only went to McDonald’s in the first place because we got into town from the airport at 1 o’clock and McDonald’s was the only restaurant open. These people should be fired.
There is definitely something wrong with this particular McDonald’s branch. I’ve been to McDonald’s locations across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and the Far East, and I’ve never had any issues. They were always known for their excellent customer service and kid-friendly atmosphere. However, I’ve now had problems at this location on two separate occasions. The first time, two police officers happened to be in the restaurant ordering food at the same time. They witnessed how my family and I were mistreated by the manager, who discriminated against us. The second incident happened today when they refused to give us our mobile order, claiming there was a two-order limit per car. My wife and I each had points to redeem, and we wanted to add fries to the order, but both the staff and the manager refused, telling us we had to drive back through the line—despite placing all our orders at the same time. There was only one car behind us, so it wasn’t as if the line was backed up. I even asked them to cancel the fries if it meant avoiding another wait. When I got to the second window for the rest of my order, they told me they were out of chocolate milk. I asked if I could add another item, and a staff member said yes—until the manager stepped in and told her no. She then told me she couldn’t take my order because she was instructed not to. The manager’s behavior was unprofessional and showed terrible customer service. My kids love McDonald’s, and we order from them regularly, but after witnessing this, they told me they don’t want to eat there anymore. We’ll likely start ordering from other restaurants or a different McDonald’s location. It’s disappointing to see how much their service has declined—McDonald’s used to be a place that would go above and beyond for customers, even replacing food if someone accidentally spilled it. Now, it feels like they don’t care at all.
This location is literally the worst McDonalds in the country. McNib should have their franchise agreement revoked. If you go through the drive thru, expect to keep driving into a parking spot to wait for your food… if there’s even a spot open due to the amount of people waiting. I witnessed customers getting the wrong orders handed to them, then those same orders taken back in and revived to others after they’ve been through. Don’t expect human service if you go in, they lack the staff to even keep up with cleaning the tables. This is literally a consistently crappy experience every visit and has been for several months. The current management team should have their food safety certs revoked and fired. Mr Nibeel, stop putting customers at risk and sell the location if you can’t handle it as a franchisee. You’re doing a disservice to the community.
This place is a disaster! We ordered a kids meal with chicken nuggets and fries, but the box only came with a toy—no nuggets at all. We immediately told the staff, but even after waiting for 30 minutes, we still didn’t get the nuggets. The service is beyond horrible; the staff works here but clearly doesn’t care about providing any decent service. Avoid this place at all costs!
