When my wife and I came in to town for vacation we stopped in for dinner. We did not expect to be blown away by the food! We both had burgers and loved them. A couple days later we went again! I do not usually go to the same restaurants on vacation but it was just TO good!

The food was delicious...we even added a chilli appetizer because it seemed like the kind of place you had to get it. The atmosphere is nice too but the 5 stars is because the waitress Jill was incredible - super friendly, outgoing, attentive, funny - she made the visit totally worth it!

The food was what stood out here. The linguini with clam sauce really was delicious. Even as a group of 7, we were seated right away. Staff were friendly. Technically, I'd give 4.5 as the food took a bit long to come out. Nevertheless, I heartily recommend.

What makes this place so amazing is the wonderful atmosphere friendly people and great food. The waitress Jill is a true legend all in her self we noticed other customers requesting her by name and our service was the best ever I wanted something special that wasn’t on the lunch menu and she cheerfully asked the chef if he would make it for me and they did substitutions were not a problem and they were so accommodating with our service dog highly highly recommend this place but be sure to ask for Jill!

This restaurant is a must try if you're in the area. My fiancé had a question about one of the menu items and the owner/manager quickly came over to make sure all of our questions were answered. I don't think I've ever gotten so much attention from an owner/manager before. You can really tell this place cares about customers and what they put out. The food and service were great all around. We also loved the cozy atmosphere.

This is our go to place locally, the food is always cooked exceptionally well, the staff is always friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is 10/10 with a rustic Adirondack theme. We love this place and it never disappoints us. Highly recommend 👌🏽

Honestly the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had! Definitely in my top 3 of cheeseburgers I absolutely loved! Definitely recommend 5 stars all the way around! My burger was cooked perfectly, I love the bun they use, and the fries were just the cherry on top! Just thinking about it is making my mouth water!

The Olde Log Inn is a true local joint. My wife gets a Philly Cheese Chicken Sandwich every time we go. Jen is a great bartender, the local patrons are all super friendly. Definitely our favorite place here in the lake George area.

This place surprised us totally. The food exceeded our expectations. One of the rare gems that we stumbled upon our vacation in Lake George.

The food is consistently fantastic! I don't live nearby, but come with family a few times a year. I've tried many dishes, and they never disappoint. The chili, the sweet potato fries, the French onion soup, the meatloaf...impossible to choose a favorite. The wraps and sandwiches are good, too. Generous portions. The bar is nice, and always friendly faces there, too. If you come in warm weather, you can sit outside on the covered deck. I might say it's the best restaurant in Warrensburg, but we like it here so much, we've never tried another!

We love this place have been going to Lake George for years to our timeshare. Always make sure we visit during our time. Turkey dinner my husband’s favorite fresh cooked from scratch the staff are amazing. Owner Gigi always so pleasant chats to all the customers makes you feel like a regular. Andy the bartender is great. Highly recommend great for families also.

This was one place the family and I decided to try out on a whim and we were not disappointed. The place was absolutely jamming so the wait time ended up being 45 minutes, which is fine, I work in a professional kitchen as a chef to I totally get it. I ended up just getting a bacon cheeseburger with fries since I wasnt feeling too fancy that night and the burger was awesome, the fries were awesome as well. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive to the best of their abilities at that time, and I think they did a great job at trying to handle all those people while remaining as attentive as they can be. Overall I had a great experience here and I recommend everyone stop in at least once on your visit to Lake George, but keep an eye out for it, it's on the outskirts of town on a hill and you'll miss it if you arent paying attention.

Stopped in for late night dinner and we all had great meal. The bartender who served us was great and the owner was sitting at the bar with us and he was pleasant that chat with! Great spot to stop in and feel welcomed!

This place has amazing food. We had the French dip sandwich. It was by far one of the best sandwiches we ever had. The French fries are also fabulous here. Beautiful restaurant with outdoor seating that has a nice view. Loved it and will definitely return here if I visit Lake George again.

Edit September 2025: Stopped by and got a to go order to take back to the lake. Still great service and great food. Many people at the bar and eating, which is always a great sign. Still Recommended! 😁. Our first time here. Great staff, friendly and great at what they do. Traditional Adirondack decor. This is a "local" place, which makes it all the better. Food was excellent too. We'll be back!

My husband & I had dinner there without reservations. We were seated quickly and our food came quickly. The waitress was nice and attentive and our food was delicious. The portions were large and not expensive. We had eggplant parmesan & chicken parmesan. It looked like a log cabin, it was great.

One of our regular places when in the Lake George region. Sandwiches burgers and entrees round out the menu with specials on the blackboard. I finally did the one pound steakhouse burger, and yes I finished it.

This place was recommend to us by the hotel manager. It was only a mile up Rt.9. Our waitress Jill was very friendly and gave us the time we needed to choose our dinners. I had the chicken and ribs which came with plenty of fries and cole slaw. My wife had a Turkey club sandwich. Both were very good and reasonably priced.

Decided to try this place for dinner after driving by it several times while on vacation and it was always busy. We called on a Friday evening and the wait was about 1 hour, but they did allow us to make a reservation for us and our dog for the porch. I got the Adirondack grinder, my husband got their reuben, and my kids got a burger and wings. Everything was delicious. 4 stars only because it took a while for our waitress to greet us and get drinks. Assuming they are understaffed likely places.

On our second day of Lake George we decided to go to The Log Inn Restaurant. We saw that it had good reviews. Our family ordered a cheeseburger,reuben sandwichi, and finally a roast beef sandwich. Overall we thought the food was solid good food the food, not award-winning but we all enjoyed our portions. On the cheeseburger there was a good blend of the right flavor of sauce and everything combined made it good I feel like the meat was a little bit flat but flavorful. On the roast beef sandwich the bun was nicely crafted and well done. The Reuben sandwich was Rock Solid. Overall we had a good server and the restaurant seemed clean and was rustic. If we lived in this area we likely would have gone to this restaurant again. I would recommend this place and you probably would not get anything better around this area. Overall everything was good not amazing would recommend.

Tremendous service especially during the holiday weekend. And you cannot beat the portions plus love it the entrees still come with a side salad. Really only knock is the lame draft beer list. Very little local representation which as an out of towner would like to try. Otherwise Superb!!

My only knock about the place is that the night we went the service was a little slow. The food was fabulous!!! Those were the best baby back ribs I've ever had at a restaurant. Moist and the BBQ sauce was delicious!!! My girlfriend loved the Asian chicken salad. I would go back!!!

Stopped for lunch based on the reviews. Service was excellent. Food very good. We had burgers,wraps all excellent. I really enjoyed the macaroni salad. The only disappointment was we were told there were no refills on sodas (who ever heard of such a thing) that's the only reason I did not give it 5 stars

Seated quickly. Offered drinks soon after sitting. Waitress gave us time to order. Food came out as expected. Dinners were delicious. We were checked on after a few bites. Drinks were filled promptly. We didn't have to wait to pay the check. Also, beer was cold. This wasn't our first time here and won't be our last. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The only thing i didn't like was having to sit outside. The misquito were biting the flies were annoying. The food was very good and well proportioned. The shrimp scampi was good. Lacking garlic, needed much more garlic the shrimp were big and delicious. There were 8 of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food...... on a side note. The best long Island iced tea in Lake George.. the service was good and the waitress friendly

Rustic, smallish, and somewhat noisy. Food was very good (although slow) and the service friendly. Only a few tables available when we arrived (6:30ish on a weekday) but it had largely emptied by the time we finished. A few picnic tables are available on a covered patio.

Got the NY strip steak how I ordered it which was medium. Could have used some more seasoning, but it was still good. Overall service was on point.

Good food and friendly service. Love the log cabin atmosphere, one of the better bar restaurants outside of Lake George village. Patio deck is a great option in the nice weather.

Food was adequate, not special. Burger was dry and over cooked. Wraps were ok. Bloody Mary was again nothing special.

So I go when I visit because of its great food and atmosphere. Sadly I'm single and older. I notice when your alone the service is low, not told about specials, offered dessert/tea/coffee etc. When there's a large group of 4 or more the "red carpet" is rolled out. Just makes me feel even more isolated and why bother going out. Have a blessed day

Again we met with my much older sister. This time at The Olde Log Inn,a place we have always liked. My wife and I had a sandwich which came with a deli salad, today, macaroni salad. My wife wife seemed to like the "Bird's Nest",a grilled chicken sandwich. I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. My sandwich was neatly assembled. While the taste wasn't bad,it didn't really reach out. We both thought that the macaroni salad was very good. My sister had the French Onion soup which was hotter than the fires of Hades. She had a small garden salad with that. The total bill was $63 for 3 of us. The server was attentive at times.

The location and atmosphere was cool. I ordered their Tuesday night special along with a beer. It was a turkey dinner. I wish I was exaggerating but the food came out less than 2 mins after I ordered it, which was several mins before I got my beer. It was obvious that it had already been made and was sitting out for several mins, because the mashed potatoes and stuffing were cold. The waitress offered to heat it up, but heating up old food wasn’t my idea of a good meal. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

This place really has a charming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food, on the other hand, is nothing to write home about. I won't say it's bad, but it's exactly what I would expect from an average local diner. The restaurant is very clean and so are the bathrooms.

Very disappointed. Got Philly and the bread was cold and doughy tasting. And the cheddar cheese wasn't of good quality. The sweet potato fires were good. But that sandwich was not worth 18 bucks.

I meant to do this a lot sooner but me and my grandma came here on the 3rd of august. We love to come here all the time, every time we come here the food has been amazing (we are locals). This time it was not so good, my grandma got the hot turkey sandwich and I got the mac and cheese special for that day. About an hour after we ate the food we both ended up with food poisoning, my grandma got the worst of it, it went right through us. I don’t typically don’t do reviews but this felt necessary. After this experience we do not plan on coming back.

My meal was a disappointment. I ordered a roast beef dinner item and received a corned beef and sauerkraut sandwich. I told the waitress it wasn’t roast beef and she said it was. Maybe they have a different idea of what corned beef is in Lake George? A few minutes later the waitress brought me the roast beef dish and said the kitchen made a mistake and I could keep both items and pay for one. She then came back and said her manager said I can only keep one item so I chose the roast beef dish which turned out to be a hot mess. In conclusion, the service is poor, the management is poor, and the food is mediocre. Don’t waste your time or money.

I really hate to leave this review, but man this place was not a 4.5 star. Had a million restaurants to choose from and we picked this one because the reviews looked pretty good. Had the half mile high grilled Reuben and there was like 4 slices of corned beef on it. Both burgers were burnt, beef gravy was super bland as was the French dip. Our server never once came by to ask how the dinner was. Could have spent $110 somewhere else and had a better dinner. Unfortunately I just can't recommend.

This place used to be great, today the service was so slow the food was horrible, the waitress was sweet and apologized, but I don't know what was wrong with this place tonight. Our Nachos came out BLACK/ BURNT she apologized and brought us new ones that tasted nasty. Our Prime Rib was cold and raw not Medium like we ordered, the White Clam Sauce was so fishy and almost tasted like Alfredo sauce. So sad the only good thing was the Pepsi and the Oreo Cookie Pie.

We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and we're greeted immediately by the friendly bartender who said to sit wherever we'd like. Our waitress took our order & brought our food promptly. I ordered the birds nest and was served a tough, dried out grilled chicken breast. Our other food was OK but nothing overly great. My husband asked for a takeout box. I noticed our waitress pulled some items out of the trashcan, put a new trash liner in the can then proceeded to get his take out container w/o washing her hands. After she brought the container to our table she went back cashed out our ticket then proceeded to handle food and still never washed her hands. If we're ever back in the area, we'll most likely eat elsewhere. Restaurant was clean and moderately busy.

atmosphere is nice and the place looks clean. steak was overcooked and tough. the cheeseburger was possible the worst burger I've ever had. the Bavarian pretzels were something you could get at aldis and the cheese was watery and had a tang to it, almost like it had gone bad. definitely wouldn't visit again.

After going to lake george many times and not being able to come here, we finally had dinner here. The rib eye steak was all fat, and very grisly...not cooked the way I asked and was inedible. The waitress was like a robot. No personality, no smile stiff and unfriendly. At the end of my meal she took my steak to the chef and returned saying the chef said there was nothing wrong with it. But she didn't eat it. She did nothing to correct my displeasure. For a 30$ steak, i wasted my money and dint even eat. I will not recommend this place nor will I return.

Horrible service. Food was just as bad. French fries were burnt. 3 layer cannoli cake was $9.00. No price on the special board next to it, now I know why. It was terrible. Tasted like vanilla cake. Do not recommend this place at all

Food was surprisingly bad given that it took an hour to serve a 3 person table. The restaurant wasnt even 50% capacity at the time. Pretty sure cheesestake was a chopped up hamburger patty on a roll. I never leave bad reviews but It doesn't make any sense how highly rated this place is.

My husband called to ask if we needed a reservation. They told us no. When we got there, they asked if we had a reservation and said the wait was over 30 minutes. They took our name and number, but never called. We went in to check and the place was empty, yet they hadn't called to seat us. They finally seated us, but said they didn't have silverware. However, a party of 5 were seated with silverware. Service was slow, yet the family who came after us got their food before us. When our food finally arrived it was bland! What a waste of time and money. I should have read the reviews before I even bothered to dine here. What an uncomfortable experience!

Went here with my husband to have a nice relaxing dinner without our kids. The server was really rude and apparently overwhelmed anything I asked her it was an inconvenience. Their cappuccino machine was not working and she was unsure if she could get a coffee as well. She never checked on us. I had to get up and get the ketchup, the one given to us was completely empty. I wanted to give this place a 2nd chance and no way are we going to come back. Really not a relaxing experience. We didn't even catch her name since she never even properly introduced herself.

Extremely disappointed. My family read the reviews and saw the high rating so we were all looking forward to a nice meal. The hostess was very sweet and that's where the positive review ends. Service was almost non-existent. Our meal took over a hour to cook. It was very busy so we knew the kitchen would be backed up, however, other diners were seated after us and left before we were even served. Our food came and some was cold, the burger was undercooked, the chicken sandwich was tough. Neither staff nor management seemed interested in my concern. We spent two hours of our vacation and over $60 for poor quality food and poor service. The food looked fabulous, but what a disappointment. I should also say this is my first review ever. I was so upset that I had my son show me how to write one. There are many better choices here in Lake George.

$38 for this…chicken breast, mashed potato, carrots and mozz stix. I’m not cheap but this was insane!! I asked the bartender if it was correct…she said they charged me what they would for a chicken breast sandwich (I didn’t want a bun just the chicken) plus additional for the sides. I still think it was an error, I won’t be back.

The prices are in accurate online. My meal should have been $55 but came to $94!!!!!! What a huge difference. They refused to honor the online price and they reason they gave was “the lake George chamber won’t let them change the online prices.” This is not right. I use to eat here a lot but never again if that how they are going to treat returning local customers. I will never recommend them again. Their loss.

We have been eating here for years. Today we ordered and food that would have cost $55 was $95. We called in our order to go. She did tell us the cost, I thought it was high. Got there and the menu online with prices is not what they charge. I said they needed to update the website.
