We have been here multiple times. The food is great the variety is great lunch and dinner don't expect a discount for parties or birthdays like it says and I think they even charge for babies which is stupid but the food is great I would like the prices to go down probably 30% but everything's high right now I guess. It's about 20 per person now closer to 10 or 12 would be amazing.
We love this place lol. The beef fajita on the buffet is weirdly incredible for a Chinese place. We come here at least a couple times a month. Good food, good service, and reasonable prices.
Plenty of good food if you're hungry. Prices are reasonable. Room for a large group if you wish.
We went on a Monday for lunch. We were seated right away. Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. Food was very good with a lot of variety. Tried a lot of different food and all was good. Great salad bar! Sushi bar was not impressive looking it was all rolls with no sushi. Great price, I will be going back for lunch.
When we entered the restaurant everyone greeted us with smiles. Our waitress was awesome we believe her name was Emily. She stayed on top of it and also has a great personality. The place was clean. The only issue we had was some of the fried food was cold, but that's expected at a buffet I'm assuming. We will be back. We drive 45 min away and will hope Emily is working.
Had dinner here the other day and the restaurant was super careful with handling trays, etc. The waitresses carefully cleaned tables after each guest and are very polite and efficient. The food was hot and delicious. Seafood fresh and tasty. The price is very reasonable for the wide selection and good food. i will return to feast here again!
They have orange ice cream. Service was good and fast but honestly having my favorite flavor of ice cream at all is what sold it for me. All the employees were masked and gloved and it was clean and sanitary. They were also careful about seating so no two groups were too close. Overall, pretty great experience, but the ice cream is the real selling point.
It's one of the better buffet restaurants. Very good selections, including seafood. There are too many dessert options, for my big... appetite. *winks* I have eaten here several times but tried takeout for the first time. Painless process and very economical.
A lot of choices here, and none of them are wrong. Not your usual China buffet; waitresses actually come around, tables aren't sticky, and "China Star" actually has a really nice elegent-type feel to it. Coconut Shrimp was our fav, along with those green beans! The hostess could have been a little bit more friendly - but other than that this place is worth the visit. Would go again, and do recommend.
Vast selection of wonderful food including hibachi grill and large selection of sushi! Very good prices for all you can eat buffet. Buffet was very clean, closely managed and all food I ate were @ perfect temperature. My husband found all our favorites and more. Our 3 yr old granddaughter loved the pizza, chicken nuggets, wide variety of fresh fruit, salads and of course desert including hand dipped ice cream! We will be back 😜
It was the first buffet I had in 15 years and I brought friends back who were just as pleased especially because we were there at the end of it fried crab legs so good. Everything was amazing.
We've eaten here like 3 or 4 times already. The food has always been awesome. Very fresh and tasty. It doesn't taste like it's been laying there stale for hours. There's an amazing array of food to try. We live in Beasley Texas and drive here for the food. The Hibachi Grill is never a disappointment. I wish y'all would open a location in Richmond Rosenberg area. It's the absolute best.
Best buffet. Great service.
Had a birthday dinner with friends and family. The food was excellent and the service was very good. As we were preparing to leave, I was surprised by a large group of staff who played instruments and serenaded me with the birthday song and brought a plate of assorted desserts, complete with a burning candle!
First time visiting China Star. I am very picky about buffet style restaurants. With that being said - China Star surpassed all my expectations. We were immediately seated. The selection of food was incredible. The food was hot and plentiful. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is very clean.
I just discovered this restaurant and what a huge surprise! It’s a new place, beautifully decorated and very clean. The waitresses are quick to assist and seniors over 60 get a discount which I hadn’t seen yet. Not to mention the plumpy large oysters they brought out fresh as soon as I asked for more. Besides that, they play nice 80s music. Very satisfied with everything!
Great service and the food was amazing , they have menudo , no one has menudo in a buffet and Chinese food , it was delicious , spicy and wonderful taste . The buffet was delicious everything was perfectly cooked and they have variety and lots deserts and fresh fruit and fresh variety kinds of salads . You need to try it here we come every weekend , we love it and always invite the family and friends .
Went there yesterday, 3/7/25, with my wife and in-laws. Disregard the negative comments you see about this place. The food was fresh and delicious. The place had any normal signs of needing to be cleaned any establishment does. They see it and get to it as quickly as possible. If you're thinking about visiting, just go and enjoy some good food that you will not regret. Best thing, to me, was the Mongolian beef. I could've kept eating it lol
I was planning to go to Freeport but my friend told me most of the restaurants where closed due to whether... well, it looks like China Star ain’t scare of flooding. Delicious food and they have sushi! My favorite... the best service I’ve got in months and a beautiful decoration, I’m definitely coming back tomorrow
Always fresh and restocked. Resonable priced for all the sea food and meats they carry. We are regulars.
Jackie was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my family and made the whole experience exceptional. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, we couldn’t have asked for better service. My daughter loved her! We will definitely be back!
Jackie the waitress here is the best ever. Love your attitude and everything about you baby. Awesome food and service. I highly recommend this restaurant for a true Chinese buffet experience. Fresh food at all times. Clean restaurant. This is a real 5 star rated restaurant and probably the only business in Lake Jackson that deserves 5 stars. Home is where the heart is. Thanks Jackie for remaining professional and being kind to me. Feeling the vibes. Enjoyed our conversation from the beginning. I will surely be returning to chat with you babe;) You know who this is. Xoxo
I visited China Star in Lake Jackson with a group of five, and from the moment we walked in, we could feel the Christmas spirit. The staff wore festive Christmas shirts and served customers with genuine cheer, truly embodying the season. I’m grateful to the team and management for keeping the spirit of Christmas alive in their hearts. Our server Jacky was amazing and attentive, never needing to ask for anything. We will definitely be back soon and often!
The cuisine is elegant. The service is excellent. The food will wake up your taste buds. Plenty of vegetables for vegans, fish, top notch sushi bar, choose what you want to eat and have the hibachi grill cook it for you. The buffet is amazing. Too many choices to list. Lots of desserts. There is sometimes a 20 minute wait. In my opinion, this is a good thing. 320 person capacity. This means fresh food all the time. No old food there. The cleaning is very thorough. The restaurant is scrubbed, swept, vacuumed and mopped at closing time. Lots of parking. I am very happy we have this restaurant in Lake Jackson.
Food, service, staff, are excellent. Clean, fast, friendly, efficient. Can't go wrong

Pedro served us the other day and he was great! Food was good as well, will come back for the service!

It was our first time, it was pretty good. Our waitress was very nice.. the foods I would classify as kid food (nuggets, etc) weren't out at all. They had crawfish but no dipping butter and the crawfish didn't have much flavor. Kids under 3, no longer free, its 1.99
Nothing special. Overall, decent buffet. Would give it three stars but I think that's a negative rating and it wasn’t a negative experience. Food was hot and had decent flavor. Server was polite and efficient. Clean spot. Not much to complain about. Your typical Chinese buffet.
I'm actually impressed with the service and how the restaurant is handling it's buffet. They follow and serve you to reduce cross-contamination and they do it with a smile. The food is fine for the price, nothing extravagant but the Hibachi grill inside is what you'll want to partake in for a good bang for your buck. Overall I'm impressed with China Star and I've already went twice. Go for the Sushi dipped in soy sauce and wasabi if you want your nose to run
Went on a Tuesday around 1:00pm and were seated immediately. Service was quick, attentive and friendly, and really, she went the extra mile for us with a group of 5. All of us found lots we liked and some we didn’t like so much. Did notice the salmon was gone when we got there and none ever brought out. Good deal for the price.
Nice inside lots to choose from. But several items tasted old like under heat lamps to long. The water and tea had a bad taste from the water. Service was great Lee was a great server.
Good food. Quiet atmosphere. I had shrimp fried rice, pepper steak, orange chicken, sweet & sour chicken and spicy chicken. Very reasonably priced, all-you-can eat buffet with MANY items to choose from. Also, a large selection of desserts!
Most of the food was fresh, a lot of items not being replenished when empty.
Your typical china buffet. Frequent flyer here. At time's you'll get a great waitress and times where not, but overal, I would rate 4 stars, just because they could add much more to the cuisine, especially on the sushi side. Prices are fair for buffet.
We are two senior citizens and made a point to get to the restaurant within the lunch time so it would not be so costly. I made a point to say to the host that we were there for the senior LUNCH. The host said "OK, booth or table." There was NO MENTION or posted notice of having to eat and leave the restaurant before 4 pm to get the lunch time cost. We sat down with our food at our table at 3:50 pm. Because we did not finish eating BEFORE 4 pm, we were charged the Dinner price. And interestingly enough, the waitress dropped off a ticket on our table for $2.70 (my husband had tea, I had water.) We told the cashier that the amount was wrong and that we had eaten LUNCH also. That amount if we had not said anything would have almost evened out the difference in the cost between lunch and dinner. The cashier and a manager kept insisting that the register automatically charges the dinner price and said they could not change it. I will tell you that at other restaurants we frequent, this would not have been our experience. Two quality restaurants across the street (Olive Garden and Texas . Roadhouse) does not treat customers this way. If you get there for a special dine time, you are charged for THAT TIME and not the pricing at the time you leave the restaurant- as it should be. Management needs some reteaching in my opinion.
Great place to pig out on some Chinese food! The food is good and the waiters are helpful 👌
It's a really good buffet. I go to this buffet every other Sunday. Compared to other buffets that I've been to before I like all the food choices and you can even get a dish custom made but the food you want on it is obviously limited. I can say that the food is pretty good they even have spicy food as well. Everything in there is good there is fish, sushi, clams, shrimps, and so much more food that I could mention. However I do feel like the dessert section is a bit limited as well but they have ice cream of different flavors so I don't complain much, but when they run out of a flavor they take some time to replace it I would be back in a week and the flavor that I would want is still not there. The fruits are also a bit limited compared to other buffets I've been to but the fruit is still good regardless, my only problem is that sometimes the tangerines they put out are spoiled so I'm always cautious when it comes to the tangerines. Other than that I would 100% recommend people to come to this buffet, although on the weekends it sometimes gets a little crowded so depending on how many people you come with you may have to wait a bit during the weekends. Even so 10/10
The food depends on when you go but overall good experience this time.
We've heard of some not so good reviews, so we had put off going here for some time. I believe it's more the seafood that is disliked. I do not eat seafood so I cannot rate this. Now that we've tried the rest of it I think the food was good, we also enjoyed the Hachi bar. Side note the beef, chicken, and pork are more like the peppered steak, chicken and broccoli, and pork from the buffet. Rather than thick cuts of steak and meats like Tokyo or Benihana's, which is fine I'm not complaining, it's good for here. Along with several desert options they have ice crem you get yourself from buckets (like baskin Robins) and soft serve also. As far as Chineese food I would say I like this place more than others in the area, but also I think Chineese food is hard to review for others because everyone has a different opinion about. So if you're wanting to give this place a try, I'd say go for it.
I really don’t like buffets, but my family wanted to eat here. The crawfish were delicious season to perfection. I’ve never had crawfish at at buffet that actually tasted good.
It’s an older establishment, could use updating however buffet is good selection.
Typical buffet atmosphere, list a star for the sticky floor. Literally walked out of my flip flop because it stuck to the floor. The food was delicious as usual, but some items were completely empty. The staff was fast and friendly.
The food was good for a buffet and hot. They have a huge selection that is categorized by fried food, seafood, soups, salad, noodles, dessert, etc. They also have a sushi bar and a hibachi bar. Our waitress was very attentive and the restaurant was clean. We will be back!
China Star is one of the great brands of buffet: -Usually stocked well of the pseudo-Chinese entrees, good ribs and wings have a nice tempura style. -Service was good my stay there last Sunday and prompted with our drink refills. -Place is becoming an addiction for a treat after long day at the beach. #WheninSurfside
It seems like good buffets are harder to find but this one always delivers. At least 20 visits and I have never had an issue with the food or service. There are a ton of choices from hibachi to sushi. I definitely have some favorites like the peppered chicken, pepper steak, Mongolian beef and the coconut shrimp. I have eaten just about everything on the lunch and dinner buffer and some of the items are just ok but I have never eaten something that was bad. Give them a shot if your wanting a Chinese buffet that is clean and has good food.

The food is okay, but they change the price on you at checkout. It starts off at $10.99 for you $1.99 for any child that can put food in it’s mouth then they raise the price to $12.50 per adult. If you’re going to eat here don’t go around 3 o’clock. Stay away until after 4 o’clock. The service is okay depending on who your server is. Their servers are not all equal some don’t pay attention to you after your seated, others are very attentive and actually give you great service. All and all if you want a eat Chinese food that doesn’t change their price while you are eating, go to any other Chinese restaurant. If you are okay with getting ripped off while you eat. Don’t take anything I have said into consideration. Thank you for your time and happy hunting when it comes to your palate.
Food is good most of the time. Sometimes cold and fried fish dried out / rubbery. Forget the mens restroom. Dirty and disgusting. Been here several time. Restroom still in same condition. Ribs are NOT fall off the bone. I’ve never seen them anyway but dried out and tough.
Vegetable options are great!! Friendly people. The meat is not fresh, the items I tried had a foul taste. Fresh salad and sushi.
My family and I were there for lunch this past Saturday. They have an amazing selection of food. The food was great. However, the 3 star rating is because of the terrible carpet and the tables and booths. The carpet smelled so bad and was so horrible looking 🥴. It actually made the food unpleasant. And the seating is peeling, torn and worn down. If owners or management could take the time and AT least shampoo the carpet, make the place presentable, it’ll be a good place.
Hubby and I ate here. Food was ok. Staff were super nice. Stir fry noodles, chicken, and baked fish were okay
It's ok when you are craving some Chinese... they have a nice variety... tho it depends on the time of day you go... if it's busy food is nice and hot and fresh... it is dead... they cook way too much, and it's nasty... I feel like it was a waste of time and money when that happens... tho I have asked them to make something fresh, and they did for me... so it made it better... also... I do love that they have frog legs sometimes... The help seems to be in good spirits whenever I go... so that's something that is nice.. It was about $50 for the 2 of us with drinks on a Sunday lunch. So a little pricey for not amazing foods... I really wouldn't have thought it cost more than $30 for 2. So it's a ho hum kind of place to get your Chinese craving out if you have a hankering for some... but it's nothing to take home about.
I’ve eaten here several times, and usually the service is good. Tonight I did take out. I asked for hot mustard and as usual they tried to give me the horrible packets that don’t taste like hot mustard. Completely useless. I asked for a small container of mustard from the food bar that is great mustard. I was told to bad. Always satisfy your customer. Next time I go to Shanghi in Clute.
This appears to be the only Chinese buffet in this area. Service was excellent. Atmosphere good with 80's and 90's music playing at a decent volume. Now for the food: I found everything I ate to be at a decent temperature, although most tasted bland and maybe a little watered down. Shrimp was tasteless and a terrible smell of sewer water around the seafood dishes. Writing this review from their bathroom right after I ate. Not saying it got me sick yet, just won't know for sure until I make it home.....if I make it before stopping at the gas station on my way. Paid $22 with soda for lunch on a Saturday for myself. Overall, come and try it if you're in the area and Chinese buffet is what you crave.....not like there's more to choose from.
I've been to China Star before and enjoyed it, but this time we bright my mother who has a cane do they sat us in the front section. That's nice, it's pretty close to the buffet etc, but the seats on the booth kept flipping forward when she sat on the edge, so we had to push the table all the way towards her, which left it pretty far from my husband and I. Not a big deal. BUT the smell of piss was overwhelming. I would have asked to move head we not had mom with tired legs with us that night. Sitting further away would have been rough on her. The smell, I'm assuming is coming from the carpet. I don't know if it's pee or stagnant cleaning water, etc but it made the meal not so great. Our server was very sweet and attentive and the food was as good or better than you can normally expect on a buffet.
Some days are really good some are not. The last time I went all the meat tasted off and was flavorless. Other foods were good though. It constantly changes what's good and what's not. They were very nice to my mom on her bday. You always gotta try a bit of everything to see what's good that day.
Nice and family friendly; but quality seems to have fallen back. Although the selection is still good for choice vegetables and meat's. A few patrons made me uncomfortable eating over the ice cream area and others being loud and boisterous for a couple of laid back country gentleman. Needs a bit more attentive care and control of customers. I left a tip, three others left none. They do a good job serving and you should reflect that with gratitude also tips. The world needs help and I've see what's coming. 🤔Not a good thing either. Rev.L
Food is good but not outstanding. We wanted a little bit of sushi which has raw fish and they didn't have many choices for that . Prices are a little steep for the quality of food they serve. The waitress came by our table once while we were there. Smh
staff was friendly. buffet was ok. lots of different selections - not all Chinese food. general tos (sp) chicken was nothing special which is my go to pick at any buffet. water tasted funny like it wasn’t filtered? i went up to look at the hibachi thing and the guy standing back there looked bored and did acknowledge me or ask if i had any questions - i’ve never been to a buffet with an hibachi before and i really wanted to try it. meal w/water and $2. tip was $15 for one. they had lots of seafood too.
Food is definitely not the main attraction. Mediocre at best. Not worth it for the price point. Only positive is it's a buffet. Sushi was not fresh. Fried chicken wings soggy.....I hope they read this and step up their game. It's a shame as I have eaten there a few times and it was pretty good (at least 4 stars) but for the last several months it's been subpar.
Usually very good but was disappointed they only had chicken with broccoli not beef with broccoli but the food is delicious! Waiter was young seemed nervous I had to ask him to refill our drinks but he was just shy 🤭 so whatever but... I will definitely go back
This place is hit and miss. It's not like some days are better than others, it's more like every tray can vary. For instance, a batch of ribs can be dry, overcooked and meatless the first trip to the buffet, but then they'll put down delicious perfectly cooked ribs by the second go. My tactic is to take one of everything I like so I can quickly determine which dishes to load up on next round. Their coconut shrimp is ALWAYS on point. Probably because it's cooked from frozen. :D There's no such thing as a bad buffet. There's always something for everyone. My kid loves this place.
It was a basic Chinese buffet. The sushi bar was hugely lacking, but they did have big boiled shrimp but the crawfish was HORRIBLE. It wasn't horrible so I might be back again and hope I don't hear a mother screaming at her kids.
I am sucker for any type of buffet, especially Chinese. I love the fact that China Star has a huge selection with a great hibachi! The workers are always nice and keep my drink filled at all times. The cost for dinner is a little higher than other buffets that I frequent, but not enough that I don't enjoy it or go. I actually go around 2-3 times a month. Sometimes the food can be overcooked or old tasting. It's weird because all the food will taste old at the same time. Maybe it's a "A team vs. B team" thing. The cleanliness is one of my main issues. The bathroom is always kind of dingy and smelly. It could be the lighting that makes it look dingy, I can't really put my finger on it.
Very mixed results here. Many of the buffet entree items were old and dry. I understand that it was an hour from closing time but still this was unappealing and unsafe. The hibachi grill is the str…
The food was great, however, it was my son's 13th Birthday today and my family went ( 11 of us) and we told the receptionist and our waitress and no one sang him happy birthday and we didn't get the birthday discount and we were charged gratuity. Now i understand with big tables charging gratuity, but they could've at least sang to my son and given us discount they advertise. It's his all time favorite restaurant and he was disappointed. We go every year and this is the 1st bad experience. Not a happy mom right now. When i told the cashier at the front counter about all this as we were leaving she just replied with i will have to tell my manager later...no offer to fix anything!
Me and my wife and my three kids went to China Star 12-22-18 around 8:00Pm the waiter was very polite then when we've got our food I noticed the food was room temp and the meat has been sitting for to Long I asked the waiter when the cooks going to make some fresh food the waiter said they stop making food at 9:00Pm and at that time it was only 8:15Pm I told the waiter this food is cold and the meat is tough he said I'm sorry when we finish eating I went to pay the cashier I told her about the food and she told me I should told the manager I told her I told your waiter and I asked her if I can possibly get a discount she said sorry we can't do that I told her alright then I payed my $52 bill for be my wife and three kids we a long day shopping in Pearland I did not expect that from China Star in Lake Jackson for the first time eating there I was very disappointed
Sadly, I won’t be back. Have gone to CS probably twenty times in past few years. Variety, flavors and value have been good. However my experience today Red Flags it all. Currently have a very upset stomach. Had been 1/2 thru my meal when I watched a lady wipe down two tables, a baby seat then another table with the same dirty unsanitary rag. No sanitation bucket, no spray bottle. Rather disturbing if not disgusting. Brought to the manager’s attention and was told that customers don’t like the smell. Better the smell of cleaner than dirty & unsanitary dining one would think.
Great service sat immediately but food was subpar and a lot of items ran out. Once food was available a lot of them were either under or over seasoned

Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and was seated got my food and a huge cockroach appeared from under the table. I politely told the waitress about the situation and after that me and my wife and kids lost our appetite. We didn’t even eat our first place when this happend and decided to leave was told management was gonna reach out to us and was still charged. No one ever reached out
Food cold and old not many good choices had to get waitstaff attention they never came to check on us they shut down Mongolian grill 1.5 hrs before closing there was no sushi and it never got replaced. I did like the pictures of the people posted who dinned and dashed.
Trinity my server wasn't friendly and brought the check way to early. And the manager Lina was useless. Don't believe I'll be going back. I sure wished Landon was there . He always gives good service.
The food was an absolute masterpiece… of blandness. It had less flavor than a glass of tap water. The waiter? Kind, but he practically went into witness protection after our initial meet, only resurfacing to collect the check. And those restrooms? They could double as a training ground for hazmat teams.
I came here with my family for a birthday. The food was not that good. I'm a vegetarian and they don't really have a lot of options. I used to order sushi but they no loner make it for you, or they will.. for 7.99. The water was unfiltered tap water with a heavy mineral aftertaste. The Mac & Cheese was so bland not even salt and pepper could save it. The croutons were not crunchy, the tangerines tasted off, and the noodles (which were pretty much the only vegetarian dishes I could eat) were just ok. Even my family disliked the fish, the tea used the same tap water, and the list goes on. The staff was really nice, but it doesn't change the fact that we were all really disappointed with the food. 3/10 at best. I really wanted to like it.
This place goes more and more downhill every visit. No hibachi station available after 8PM. Roaches walking along the top of the booths and still demanding payment when we told them we were u comfortable eating after having to kill a massive roach at our table. They stop cooking at 8:30 even though they don’t close until 9:30. No discount offered for pest control or lack of fresh food! Horrible customer experience
This place overcharged me my ticket to check out was $77 when i look at my bank statement it was 90 something. So be careful!!! The food is not all that great. There alot of old food taste like leftovers!!! We need another Chinese buffet in lake Jackson!!!! ASAP!!!!!!
The wait staff was good & the buffet was clean. That is where my positive review ends. My family of four sampled several different dishes; not a single one was good. In the words of my young daughter - how do you mess up French fries? Even the fried rice was bad. $90 for 4 buffets and a bonus of food poisoning for all 4 throughout the night and next morning. Never again!
I was sat in a booth that had a strong urine smell.. everyone at my table was disgusted and almost didn't eat. We were moved and less than 5 mins someone was sat at the same booth which didn't stay more than 15 minutes and when walking out I mentioned it to them and they said they were disgusted and lost all appetite. I asked for one of 3 buffet meals to be removed because one didn't eat after as well as the wait staff telling the manager he didnt.. she refused to remove a meal and said she would give me a discount. What a discount of $3.20 to sit in a urine soaked booth and eat a meal!. Disgusting I will never be back and I will call corporate. I also gave the leaving guest sat in the same booth behind me the number as well. I paid 54 bucks and some change to sit in urine and eat a meal! I'm also considering calling the health department on the establishment for its food!. Not worth anything. Disgusting all around, the cantaloupe was a red color, the food was dry as it had been out all day under a heat lamp. The waitress was great and she was tipped well.. the management is no good with no consideration to customer service! The bad food was not complaint, it was sitting in a urine soaked booth that was the issue with no concern from management, only telling the waitress it was her job to clean the booth. I believe with the horrible customer service from the manager it would be her job especially after sitting people after it was alerted to staff.
One of the ladies kept looking at us because my mom brought in her own water, my mom told both of the ladies kept telling my mom that she needs to get a water, my mom said to just charge her, she kept looking at us.
We stopped by a month ago and picked up five different plates and all was dirty with rice stuck on it. We walked out without eating. We decided to try it again today. The fried rice did not have marked that it contained shrimp, I am allergic. The tamale taste as is it was cardboard with hair out of a vacuum. This place we paid 35$ just to leave still hungry. It is gross I would not recommend. I had to give it a star but if I could it would have a condemn it button. Please don’t waste your time or money
The selection of food was ok for the price. However, I had difficulty enjoying tasting my food because there was a very obvious strong dirty carpet odor that was too much to ignore. The carpet in the restaurant is visibly darkened with years of embedded food and dirt causing bacterial growth. Management should remove the carpet and just leave the bare floor It was my first visit and it would probably be the last!.If the dining area looked and smelled horrible I can only imagine how management maintains the kitchen area…yikes!! Btw, when I arrived home I was suddenly hit with a fury of diarrhea that even my ancestors felt.
I wait for fish about 15 minutes to refill the empty dish. the bathroom was so dirty and unhygienic.
Food was not worth the money, fish was lowest grade, Desert area was out of everything
The dishes prepared from chicken were awful. The chicken was dried out and texture was like straw. Had to spit it in napkin. Could not chew or eat. The only thing I had that was good was fried rice. Then went to pay the bill and for 3 people it was over $65. I was shocked 😲. If the food had been delicious I would not have felt so bad, but for food not edible. I felt robbed. Lesson learned. But I work hard for my money. Not a happy customer. 😕
That Chinese place should have prices when you walk in the door knowing know how much the all you can eat buffet is I was shocked when we left $40.00 for the buffet it's kind of nasty the Chinese place in Bay City is cheaper and better food and great Customer Service it's on hwy 35 across from Marshalls! Bay City Texas!
The crayfish was dangerously undercooked, the rest of the food tasted stale or bland and we never saw our server ONCE after we got our drinks. $40 for some possible food poisoning was NOT worth it.
No service high price for slop food. Lady never came back to offer drinks. Had to ask a different waiter for our check. Feels nasty inside. Never felt so robbed for my money.
Bad experience. I ate some seafood here and not even 10 minutes later I felt sick to my stomach. I inspected the remainder seafood I did not eat and I realized that it not only smelt bad also looks like it has been sitting out all day. Or maybe the whole place just smells bad. I tried some of the other food and its nothing to go crazy about. I didn't even fully eat the two plates I got.
This place needs to be investigated for serving spoiled food, unclean conditions in the lunch bar area, bathrooms, the kitchen witch had an overpowering smell of spoiled food and milk. I ate one plate and got violently ill, I politely told the ladies who was serving us, she went to the back and came back and said it wasn't there food it was me. Still made me pay full price and gave her self a 20 dollar tip on top of are order. I'm currently working on getting a hold of the local health inspector. There going to hurt some one extremely bad one day. And I'm trying to see if they have a courpret number as well.
Absolutely horrible! We have been here in the past and it was never this bad. We didn’t even eat a full plate and still got charged for a full buffet. The floors were NASTY. It smelt AWFUL! The dishes were still dirty. If I could give them a 0 star I would! We most definitely will NEVER be back!
