I only go occasionally any more... the last time I went through the drive thru and didn't realize until we got home that we received someone else's order. Neither of us were very thrilled about going back, so we ate what was given to us and decided that we really wish that we were closer just to go back. We will check our bag for sure next time.

Im so grateful for this Del Taco location. They’ve been there for me through some really hard times and some really happy times with friends and loved ones. Whether it was a happy or a sad occasion I could guarantee a good cheap meal with friendly service. I love Dell taco. I love this location. It’s the only one until Broomfield thank you Del taco Union Street. Y’all are the best and don’t get enough credit. It’s a hard job.

I came by yesterday and was delighted by the friendly service the new manager provided. He came by my table to check up on us to make sure our food was good which is unheard of for a fast food restaurants. The store was relatively clean and the food was good. I'm definitely coming back.

I feel bad for the managers and workers at this del taco. It always look like They are being overworked. Had great service from a gentleman named Jeremiah. He was very professional and great with customer service. Hard to come by now a days in the fast food industry but he did great and definitely made me a repeat customer. Idk if the managers read reviews but I definitely recommend that guy.

As an east coaster who loves Taco Bell, but had this vague memory of Del Taco being amazing over 20 years ago when I lived in California, my expectations were high coming to this place. EXPECTATIONS MET. The original Del Taco taco blows Taco Bell's beef taco out of the water. The fish taco was also surprisingly good for a fast food restaurant. And the plain ol' churros... holy cinnamon, so good! ❤️🌮❤️

David, Allen and Eric (to name the ones we see most) are friendly, professional and dedicated to excellent service. Food is usually pretty good at this location. Occasionally you'll get brown guac or dried up limes or not so fresh cilantro, but usually it's pretty good. Would love to see better food quality consistency, and I'd be back more often.

It's Del Taco! What can be said. It's better than Taco Bell, I'll give it that. But not a whole lot. I did an online order and specified a pick up time but they still don't make the food until you get there and confirm that you're there to pick it up, or at least that didn't in my case even though it was pre paid. Not a big deal though because the wait wasn't long and it was fresh. Can't complain but it's certainly not gourmet food... Just know that going in and you'll be ok. I get food from there a few times a year and it's always been decent for what it is. Can't say I feel the same for the competition.

This is a favored spot to grab a quick bite though I only gave it 3 stars. It is so hit or miss. Half the time the food was great and half the time it was mediocre. Thankfully my last breakfast burrito was awesome. A filled tortilla shell that was quite tasty.

The staff was very nice. But I think they were training new staff the evening I came. It took a bit longer than normal. The food was okay. The tacos were awesome as always. However the beans in the burritos were wayyyyyyyy over cooked..Or almost like they were under the heat lamp all-day.

Ok. I usually go at night and have excellent service and food. Zero complaints. However today around 230 order two taco meal. It was awful. I literally donated ten dollars as I had to throw away. Fries were not cooked limp and cold. Taco shells seemed on the stale side. I guess I will only go at night, as I said in the beginning. Always was excellent.

Usually I love del Taco, the affordable vegetarian options and overall quality of the food for the price makes it a go to regular for fast food. I was disappointed by my last visit to this location, it seemed like no effort went into making my meal (a cheddar quesadilla and bean and cheese burrito). The quesadilla fell apart and had almost nothing inside, while the burrito was just sad. I love del Taco but that was an upsetting surprise I hope can be corrected.

Service was spot on. Food was just ok. Fries were luke warm with no salt. Every condiment you would need, you had to ask for. Nothing out to readily use. Ice machine was empty or broken, not sure which. Carne asada was actually roast beef seasoned like steak, but it was ok.

I normally like this Del Taco a lot. Been here several times and it’s been pretty good. Tonight I pulled up at 11:15 and they wouldn’t answer the drive thru. Drove in circle and the kid that came out the back door told me they are closed. Because there is only 2 people. Interesting excuse for just wanting to skate out of work a few minutes early. How many people do you need? 8? Pretty frustrating when I know the place is normally open until midnight and I forgo other options and drive pretty far. I expect that level of BS from Taco Bell. Del Taco, I thought you were better than that.

If you want your burrito avacdomatized, or chipotlitzed you might be left on your back patio at 10pm on a Saturday night sorely disappointed. Also the “well done” fries were more like medium rare. Speaking of fries, the burrito that was supposed to have crinkle cut fries in it. Well, let’s just say, one does not simply get to the other end of a burrito and not find the fries that were supposed to be in there. The best thing about the place is reading the reviews about how much joy this place brings people and how they love traveling across denver to come here. To be honest the queso was actually the best thing about this place considering what I previously wrote. In conclusion, seek out a local guide when looking for the best tacos in Lakewood. It’s not here.

The service and wait time was awful the day I visited. The drive-through was very slow, and the female server communication was not very helpful or courteous. She began to accuse me of not ordering the right items and seemed to micromanage the other worker at the drive up window.

The man taking our order was the worst experience of this place rather than the descent food. After adding almost $20 to our order he protested about what we ordered and did not return the proper amount of change when cash was rendered. Arrived today and asked for an additional few seconds to order, and the female was nice. When I was ready to order, was asked to hold a moment, which was no problem, but the lady at the window left her mic on, and I heard her talking for a while to her coworker about an apartment. When she finally finished, she took my order, asked if I wanted any sauce, and then didn't place any in my bag. I thought the incident was comical for the moment, but definitely a customer service fail.

Was just there at 2:30PM on a Sunday. I got to the dive-thru intercom and was told to wait. Some vehicles pulled up behind me. I didn't see any vehicles in front of me. I waited a good 5 minutes, maybe more like 10 minutes, the vehicles behind me drove off and I did the same. At the drive-thru there was 1 guy in a vehicle at the window and one poor person trapped behind that guy, who knows how long they had been there? Other than that, every time I have been the tortillas for the burrito are dried out; one time they were straight up crunchy. Seems like the owner penny pinches but in a way that's to their and their customers' detriment. The one on Belleview and Broadway in Englewood is MUCH better. If it has the same owner, the owner should have their Englewood manager show this one a thing or two. I only give it 2 stars because at least the ingredients are in theory still Del Taco quality, albeit dried out, hopefully stored properly, but I wouldn't take a bet on it either lol, and the people at the window have generally been nice, although I don't know what was going on today...

Wasn't sure and there's a black car out here so i went to the window and saw 2 drinks and what appears to be a delivery order sitting on the counter,,,,, sure i was able to cancel my order but that was literally all the money i had to eat with today and it won't be back in my account for days! Then 2 other cars showed up behind me and i would guess one was to pick up that order sitting on the counter.... So a delivery driver did or will drive here wasting his/her gas and time that could have been spent on a delivery elsewhere that they'd get paid for. So you all know none of the platforms pay drivers to go pick up at a restaurant that's closed.... If anyone cares! It's now 1:50 am and nobody has surfaced inside the restaurant. This location has been incredibly hit or miss for me in terms of quality of the food. I have ordered a quesadilla twice from them and the first time it came out cooked nicely with sauce. The second time it was wet, uncooked tortilla with only cheese (pic below). I would not recommend this location. Go to Taco Bell instead!

Quick service. Friendly service. Been a fan of Del taco for years. 1st time back in years. That being said… I ordered two carne asada street tacos (soft corn tortillas) As I opened my tacos, sooo excited to eat them. The corn tortillas were raw and cold, and ripped with all of the ingredients spilling out of the cold/cracked/ripped bottom. The tortillas were literally raw and not warmed to create a softness/paliable wrap. Kids working here, obviously cutting corners or not being properly trained. Trainers/Managers.. please get on it. Appreciate it. Especially with the cost increase. Not happy.

The prices on the menu aren't even what the menu prices actually are. 2 for $3 chicken tacos is some totally made up nonsense. They're $2.19 each when you go checkout apparently... You could try being honest. Would not return ever. Expensive, false advertising from a highly deceptive company.

Why would you have multiple signs that indicate 2 for $3 chicken tacos if that's not how much they cost? Super misleading and just false. They're $2.19 for 1. Just put the real price of your items on the menu. I also tried to scan my QR code in the app for rewards points in the drive thru, and the employee honestly didn't even know how to do that. Incredibly misleading pricing and inept business in my experience. This is a fake business with dishonest advertising practices. I will not be back here since they're not honest.

UPDATE: Contacted Del Taco via instructions below. We love Del Taco and were so happy to see them re-open so we went by on Sunday, September 21st. Ordered 2 combo meals with tacos, fries and drinks through the app and went to the drive-thru. We, as well as everyone else in line, waited for an unusually long time to get our orders. We didn't mind the wait so much, but when the staff member handed the bag of food over, it was very light. I opened the bag and realized 1 taco and both orders of fries were missing. The young lady at the drive thru told whoever was working in the back that we didn't get our fries and we were told they didn't have any fries. Whaaaat?? Why weren't we told from the beginning? They offered additional items so we just took more tacos. Ugh! I hope they get it together because if this is how it's going to be, I won't return.

Update: Their reply to this review is about as vague and pointless as can be expected from some probably sitting in a corporate PR cubicle. They did not address my concerns in any meaningful way except to say, "Give us all your information so we can sell it, or join FB so they can harvest and sell your info too." If Del Taco is giving a discount for joining their club, they must be making money on the backend somehow or they would just offer the better deals to everyone since that is clearly the price point at which the food should be sold. Thanks for the pointless reply. Food is made in such a hurry that it is often a mess, but it is the same with many fast food places. The staff is generally okay and the place is clean except for the lights, ceiling, and air vents. They're quite dirty. Unpredictable when open to eat-in instead of just the drive thru, I guess that's a staffing issue, but it has been better recently. The biggest issue is that despite the food quality and quantity staying the same, they've raised their prices 3 or 4 times over the last 2 years. I know you want to blame inflation, but study after study points to corporate greed as the biggest driver of cost increases. If you're going to charge $3.19 for a taco, it had better be a damn good taco and look well made. These are thrown together like the staff is doing it during an earthquake. There are 2 other Mexican restaurants across the street and a block south and there's a Chipotle just a block north on the same side of the street that actually make good tacos for the same price or less.

Online it says Del Taco opens at 7am. I pulled up at 7:05am and the drive through speaker said they were closed. Someone should update the online hours if those are incorrect.

Hands down the worst del taco I've been too, I live around the corner and the service and food quality has declined over the last year. Today i ordered the loaded queso beef nachos, only one half had anything on it and it was way more sour cream than queso and almost no beef. Holycrap. I am hitting this store at 8pm on Sunday and it is like the entire crew is zooted beyond all recognition. Incredibly slow drive through. It took two crew members to actually take our order. Not once. But twicw. We are still three cars back and it's been 13 minutes. Fast food. Ha! Corporate needs to clean house on this franchise. This is the slowest “fast food” establishment I have ever been to. During my very first visit here, I walked in and waited 10-15 minutes without anyone acknowledging me even though there were a few employees walking back and fourth at the counter. Not even a “Hello” or “I’ll be right with you”. I ended up walking out because it was ridiculous. This 2nd time I went through the drive thru as I had ordered online through the app and thought it would be faster-NOPE. Still took forever and had to rush back to work to eat my lunch. I’ll stick to Taco Bell.

4/11/24 around 8pm, I ordered a shrimp taco meal and almost broke my tooth on a piece of burnt fish or chicken in it instead of shrimp(there are supposed to be 3 pieces of shrimp), so I had to go back and get a replacement because I wanted my shrimp tacos, plus my fries with no salt were not cooked. No one acknowledged I was there. The manager on duty was cleaning and mopping the bathroom, another staff member was taking out trash. So I asked the lady who was preparing food what was in my taco since she made it. She didn't tell me but stated she would remake it. The manager came in the kitchen did not wall his hand and started touching equipment in the fryer area where my fries and shrimp were cooked. I asked for a refund instead because that was straight nasty and now I don't want to eat at the establishment at this point. Instead of returning my money, he started agrueing because I pointed out that he didn't wash his hands. He wanted the receipt so I obtained it from my car and still he was arguing. I asked for his Manager and he said they weren't in he was the manager. I asked for his name he would not give it to me. I called for a manager this morning and no answer. I wanted to complain to the regional manager for this employee yelling at me and withholding my money for his own power and control issues. I told him I'm the customer and he continued. When did the food industry change. I will pursue this. Why should you be treated like this when you pay for food and a service. Then the other staff came and started yelling. All I wanted was my money back for the bad food. He insistsed on getting my half drank soda back as well. How petty.

This was the place I went for crunchy tacos. Until my last time, about a week ago. The food quality has been going downhill in my opinion. I ordered 2 Dell tacos and only had 1 bite. It tasted kind of like dirty water and upon further inspection the lettuce was dark and almost slimy. Thanks but no thanks. I need to stay away from fast food

Corporate headquarters, should really close this location. They SUCK!!! TFood served with hardly any ingredients employees ifnore drive thru. Most the employees look and act like fresh out of prison. Del Taco use to have class, vut thus location none. Probably just really bad management, but regional managers should be contacted, and the department of health!

I ordered the large nacho tray for delivery stating that I did not want jalapenos on the order. When I received the order jalapenos were piled on top.

I spent $18 to taste the sadness of every employee that ever worked at this place. Food was meh...

The service was solid but the food itself is the worst fast food I have ever had.

It has really gone down hill since the re opening from construction. I have not been able to get a single taco shell that’s not cracked in half. The macho nachos are a joke for almost $7. I can’t even get ground beef all the way across the taco. Please do better.

When we got there we went to wash our hands in the bathroom. There was no toilet paper in the ladies room. I made the server wear of that immediately so the next person wouldn't have a bad experience. No one ever refilled it for the 30 minutes we were there toilet paper I mean . The trash cans were overflowing with trash. We could hardly find the place when we got there cuz we had our GPS on but there were no lights on outside the building at all and it was pitch dark. The street sign wasn't on either. The only lights on in the whole Del Taco where in side. My husband ordered four bean burritos with extra onions extra cheese. When he got his order he opened them up to put the Del Taco hot sauce on and the beans were cooked but they were still whole they weren't even refried. he said he felt like he was eating chili instead of refried beans so they hadn't even refried them . We eating at Del Tacos all over and this was probably second worst the worst took 40 minutes to get our food and it was runny.

For a 63 dollar order, we arrived for pick up. Our order was given away and not made as the online order says. No name tags and when the manager was confronted they refused to make the order. It's the principle of it all. 0 stars. I will pay a visit soon. Avoid this store at all cost. Regain some face and respond to this post with a rational explanation. Earn your paycheck!

Flat out embarrassing . Foods stale and smashed and I got about half the stuff I ordered. I wouldn’t feed this to my dog

The hard shell tacos tasted like dish soap and left a nasty after taste. I ordered 3 and couldn't finish 1. ordered through the app, it took 24 minutes to have my food. No napkins or utensils available. Bright side was the AC was cranking.

I pre-ordered on app. And then when I went through the drive thru, the person working the windows did not recognize the order, then had me leave drive thru and sit in parking lot. So much for the app making things faster. Two other customers in drive thru got their orders immediately. And they were behind me then 1/2 the order was missing i went inside to ask and the guy behind the counter said i dont care if your mad we dont confirmthe orders. And there was NO customer service, NO im sorry for inconvenience. They are not good reps for the owners.

Great customer service 😒 had to put our order in twice. Maybe if she wasn’t on her phone she would have heard the order the first time.

They are never able to find my order when I order online. I'm diabetic and was crashing. The guy couldn't find my order despite me having the order number and I was showing him the e-receipt. I argued with him for more than an hour. I say in the drive through and just refused to move. I asked for a manager and was told there was no manager. He threatened to call the cops and said my stupid little order only exists on my phone. I ordered directly from the Dell Taco website. Tonight I used door dash and couldn't find it again. Then when I said I already paid and was not moving to get cash out. Then they went and looked for and found it. Everything was ice cold.I know they could do a worse job but that is just a scary thought.

My Goodness , gentleman in a hat today mad my food , took lunch. Then sat down and proceeded to do what looked liked , pick and consume his boogers what in God's name is happening

If I could give negative stars for this location I definitely would! First I asked for the fiesta pack and to just get them all soft tacos, I still got half tacos half bean and cheese burritos. Secondly the tacos were literally a tablespoon of beef if I was lucky and 90% lettuce and cheese. And last but not least the guy at the window was rude! Will NEVER go back here, at least taco bell gives you a real amount of “beef” in the tortillas! Literally put the beef from 3 into one and it was an acceptable amount! And also I can’t forget that everything was super cold even though we waited for a few minutes!

Waited 30 minutes in drive through, then my order came cold and some of the tacos were undercooked. I know staff was trying hard not their fault. Just understaffed.

Went through the drive through and explained.I would like a burrito with everything being beef.Everything sorry, cream veggies everything and I got home to get bean beef and cheese.I am so disappointed. It was definitely not worth the money.I was excited when you guys were reopened now not so much.

Worst experience st a del taco, ever. The girls on the line don't acknowledge you and eat while making your food. I ordered 5 chicken tacos, one only was lettuce, one didn't have sauce, and only one had cheese. The one photo had the most chicken out of any, 3 pieces So, they were all messed up. Usually del taco is good, this location isn't.

I used to go here several time a week before they closed. Then they reopened and I came here today. They would not take my order, they said I had to do it myself on the screen, which I have never used. The people ahead of me were having trouble with it, so I just left!!! Will never go back!!! They will probably be closed again by Spring!!!

This location closed down. Before that their milkshake machine did not work for at least a year. We tried several times when we went. The location recently opened and upon trying to go there again today they are advising their new milkshake all over the building and outside. So, we order the milkshake and they say that their milkshake machine is broken. Now why would you reopen a location and not fix this machine? And why are you advertising the new milkshake if you don’t have a working machine that management and ownership refuses to fix or purchase a new one? Not the staff’s fault but terrible management and ownership. Do not recommend.

Edit: they replied their generic responce to all 1 stars since theyve opened. I went to the link and i cant even provide all the details because there was so much wrong with the visit. Yeah they're back open, but you will wait for 15 minutes for your food to be cold but "fresh" and they'll be "sorry for the wait". The quality of their food was better before they closed. They "rush" door dash orders and drive through so you'll be a figure of their imagination if you want to go into the lobby. You guys closed to change what? To get worse.

Super disappointed in this location since reopening. Items are either totally wrong or its basically just a tortilla with a spoonful of beans or cheese. Sucks because the food is so much better than taco bell when its made right.
