The food was delicious. There’s plenty if parking since it share parking with the mall. The seating booth was big and had enough space for at least 3 people to seat.

Didn't think i was going to like it, it was actually really good Ordered the tofu pad thai and shrimp wonton soup. Both were tasty. For under 20 bucks too. Im coming back!

One of the best Thai restaurant in LB hands down. Try the sour and hot coconut milk soup, the bbq grilled pork, the spicy beef salad and the beef larb. Almost every dish was great!

Really tasty Thai that you can enjoy as a sit-down meal or as takeout, including a drive through option! Huge Thai teas, which were so delicious we came back every day we stayed in the area.

Their soup is the BEST been going their for like 5 year, it a family own restaurants I know the the grandmother n grandparents they make u feel welcome they so sweet n the kids also seen them grow up .

First learned of this place 5yrs ago but never tried it. I loved, loved, loved their spicy noodles. I'm just sorry I didn't try them sooner. Definitely going back and trying more things on the menu.

Every dish from the Tom Yum soup with shrimp to the Spicy Thai Chicken Salad was very delicious. If you want some good Thai food from a hole in the wall, Mom & Pop restaurant, this is your place! Loved it!

Our family has frequented this restaurant since at least the early 90s. One of our enduring memories is seeing the owners' children sitting at a table doing homework, and now they're old enough to help out. The price depends on what you order, but it can be expensive . The way my husband & I order but the dishes are to be shared . We just like to have a little of everything. The food is great & fresh to order and to your taste. I like it spicy. The decor was redone and it gives it a comfy feel I've been eating here for years since 2006 & any friend I take to eat there like it alot so I will continue to eat there

They even have a drive through. The interior is charming and breezy and the staff is very nice. The food was delicious and generous portions. I passed 2 other Thai establishments to drive to this one and was not disappointed. We will be back.

So glad Thai Corner is still in business during this pandemic. This is our favorite Thai restaurant. It serves authentic Thai food at a reasonable price. My husband and I drove 45 minutes to give our business to this awesome family owned and run restaurant.

I personally do not understand the bad review of this place. First of all, I’m a first generation immigrant here. I’m Asian. I know how Asian foods are supposed to taste like. And I’ve had plenty of authentic Thai food when I was in college. It is probably true if you expect to taste more peanutty flavors, you will not find here. The food here, arguably you can say it is less authentic, but let me tell you, it’s as Asian as a small quirky business can be while thrive in the US community that is not specifically catering Thais. The posts that complain the food is too sweet, I don’t get it; Pad Thai is just about any other Thai’s place, if not less sweeter. And with taste I don’t think the sweetness is overwhelming. Ok, with that out of my way, let’s talk about how I discovered this place. Around 2015 when I was living in Long Beach, I was in search for some healthy alternative takeouts rather than feeding myself fast food like McDonald all the time. I’d found this place on google map and decided to be adventurous to give it a try. The result was not disappointing. The most impressive part, aside from a lot of seasonal greens and healthier food than what I would normally eat, it was the portion and price. I was glad I could find something that’s good portion, relatively healthier, and superb price. Now, you would say that the price of everything had gone up, but let me tell you a more recent experience. I took my bf there for a dinner date, and the combined weight of two of us excess over 500lb. We ordered two appetizers and two main dish, and I was estimating that this meal would be well over 60. After we finished our food, we were actually stuffed and would not need any food for the rest of the night, the bill came out to be under 50. That was something you have to put in consideration. And now I do not live in Long Beach anymore, even so, from time to time I bought folks to this small business. Each time I was impressed. Once I took a white friend who’s like, born and raised in Missouri, and he even liked this foreign food, where their people were infamously picky for the food’s taste and textures. Other foodie friends I’ve bought to there over the years have had about the same effect. Condolences to the grandmother. I haven’t seen her at this place for a long while now. My own grandmother used to chat with her while we ate there. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s. But I was pleased to see the children were helping out in the family business; positive stuff like this made me like life more altogether. TL;DR: give it a try, and definitely won’t disappoint you. Impressive? Probably not if you’re expecting full blown authenticity. This is Long Beach after all, not like it’s in San Gabriel valley or something. PS: no, I do not get paid for this review.

Quality, authentic Thai food. Fresh and flavorful. Fast friendly service. They make fantastic iced Thai coffee. In a Clean quiet setting. The parking lot is small, making it hard to find a spot at dinner time. Good pricing for great food. Defiantly worth a try. I've had just a few dishes and I really like the fried rice. You can also call ahead and pick up food in the drive through (it used to be a Del Taco).

Great place to get your Thai fix. Been coming in and ordering to go for years. Typically get Tom ka or Tom yum to start the meal, but yesterday I tried something new: Tom Yum Noodle soup. O.M.G. I think it's my favorite now. Amazing mix of flavors and held up pretty well when I got it at home (DIY assembly required, well worth it). Big fan of the drunken noodles here. Always enough kick 🌶️ in their spice levels, medium is just right. Get a curry, pad Thai, the staples and see for yourself. Also, the lunch specials give you a nice amount of food and variety without breaking the bank.

Great little mom'n'pop with friendly service. Kind of a locals spot. Reasonably quiet, I love all the tasteful wood work. My fav is the pad kra pao dish and a Thai iced tea-- #Yum

I've been going here for over 20 years. I remember when they opened and it looked like a taco bell inside (I think it was a taco bell before, hence the drive thru). I was a young boy maybe 7 or 8 years old, but I remember thinking it was such a unique place. The drive thru took maybe 30 minutes at that time because they would take your order and make it fresh. It was worth the wait, though now they've figured out it's easier to take your order and bring it out to your parked car. Things have changed a lot since they opened. The decor both inside and outside feel like a nice neighborhood Thai restaurant. I haven't eaten inside in a couple if years (since before the pandemic started) but I go here for take out about once a month or so and my daughter loves it. She's a little over a year old and since she's been eating solid food, she's been a fan of the chicken satay and tofu pad Thai. My wife loves the emerald curry with chicken and I always get a Thai iced tea. I'm really happy I got to grow up coming here and that my daughter gets to as well.

Very good Thai food, prepared and served by the friendly owner and her family members. Not expensive and very reasonable for the quality, delicious food you get. Servers are very polite and a little shy. They do a good job though...

Curry is typically creamy...it was soup liquid and good. Decor is totally Thai. This was a quick eats beforing seeing sunset in the park.

The ginger chicken with excellent flat noodles with chicken stupendous and the eggplant plate was very tender and delicious I would recommend this place but the waitress is very nice but they didn't bring enough napkins but otherwise it was very good clean

Delicious food for a good price. Drive through is all that is open. Dining room closed for covid. Fresh made, so there is a wait. If you order ahead, go through the drive through and pick up and on your way. If ordered on site, they take your order and you park in the lot and they bring it out to you when completed.

My kids like their Thai fried rice. Service is good, the young ladies there are very friendly. The only issue is that they accept cash only. But that's no real problem.

Parking is a challenge, very few spots and lots of signs next door declaring parking for 7-11 customers only. Update 2 years later. DONT ORDER CARRY OUT! IT WILL RUIN YOUR EVENING. Great place to eat in but each time I try carry out order on line it tells me 20 minutes, then the receipt says 25 minutes. I’ve been waiting 45 minutes and they tell me still waiting on 3 dishes - the same 3 dishes they were missing 15 minutes ago. So yeah the food is good but not worth the frustration of extra long wait time, now 55 minutes when promised 20, and hope I get it within the hour. Kids back home are starving, waiting for me.

Very good Thai Restaurant. Small, quiet, and clean dining area which was perfect. The staff was VERY friendly. A little slow on acknowledging folks walking in, but it seemed like a one-person does it all kinda deal... So very good considering. The food was good: - Chicken Satay was very good and was a good portion size. - Broccoli and Oyster Sauce was good. The chicken was a bit dry, and the broccoli/carrots had a bit too much butter for me... But the oyster sauce itself was extremely good. - Brown and White rice were pretty standard

We consider this one of "our family" restaurants and have been coming here for years. The family owned restaurant is clean and they are friendly! Mo, one of the owners is one of the nicest people I have ever met! My family comes often and we always have the thai iced tea, pad Thai, Thai corner salad, crab fried rice, beef, etc. Everything is always delicious and consistent. We take-out or eat in - and Either way, it's yummy!

Tenderness was ok. 2/5 Chicken Curry - sauce was perfect to my pallet. Chicken was tender. You can request how spicy you prefer. I like the sauces thicker so this wasn’t really for me. 3/5 Lunch Special Pad Thai (Shrimp) - delicious and fresh shrimp and vegetables. 5/5 BBQ Chicken (Half) - well marinated chicken. The dark meat was juicy but the breast is kinda dry. Their sauce was so good though. It wasn’t just the sauce they sell in stores. 3/5 Papaya Salad - fresh ingredients with their well balanced homemade sauce. 5/5 Mango Sweet Rice - absolutely on point! Had a lot of mango sticky rice before but never close to this one. Perfect combination of the sticky rice and sweet mango slices. 5/5 Great dining atmosphere and customer service with reasonable price. Not a lot of parking but drive through is available. Highly recommended!

The food is Great..however the service is horrible...it seems they have family members working tables and orders...everytime I come it takes them 10-15 min to get a menu and order it seems they don't know how to multitask...i love the food otherwise I wouldn't come I drive over 20 miles to come here just for the food..so if they are reading this PLEASE RE- TRAIN your staff on customer service cuz im starti g to look for other places to go and im sure others are too who love your food!

Ordered from the drive thru. Only 1 car ahead of me and waited over 30 mins fkr my food. Papaya salad is good and spicy. Green curry was a little bland with not much meat. An ok spot but nothing like eating in Thailand 🇹🇭

Food is ok, not the best, but service was horrible. Ordered white rice, waitress asked 1 or 2? Then claimed we never ordered it. Cabbage (not bok choy, cheap cabbage) was cut into slivers too thin to eat with larb -which was tasty. Many other native Thai places do better, bit ok in a pinch. Pro tip: get the food to go (double check your order) and take it to the pool hall 2 doors down.

Service was not the best, you could tell she didn’t want to be there and gave me a tray of hot sauce from the dirty table next to mine after having to dig around the last table’s dirty plates puts it back on the sauce and shrugged saying ‘sorry’ when she gave it to me just ew. Food was okay but they’re cash only and do not have an atm.

"Workers" didn't give us a menu until 10 minutes later then didn't ask us if we wanted drinks 20 minutes since the time we arrived 35 minutes later since time we arrived finally get our food and drinks the place wasn't packed and I asked for no ice because I was sick and they said $2.00 extra like really and when they brought out the food their was only 1 shrimp in a shrimp salad other than that I feel this place can do way better customer service should be key in any business

When I first walked in, I thought this place was a gift shop but not until I began to see some dim lights and a few tables scattering around. Although It was a Saturday night, but the whole restaurant was quiet and only has one waitress. I sat there for 15 minutes until I received the menu. Instead of helping me, the waitress turned to the other table to pick up dirty plates, and then walked to my table with her tablet to take down my order. As I began to ask her a question about a Thai dish, she refused to explain it to me, and she interrupted me by running to the table (the one she just cleaned up) to take down more orders from the same customer. Not only that, the menu was cheaply made and the price was high. Unprofessional service for a fast food restaurant. I'm glad I left the place after sitting there for 30 minutes w/ no service at all.

The service was great but the food was not good at all! I wish I would've spend those $12 elsewhere. I got the spicy shrimp fried rice and it was bland. The rice looked like it was just tossed in oil with no soy sauce.

2 🌟. I had high hopes. Spent $30. I did not have any napkins. Only condiments that I was given was chili suace. I had asked for extra green onion and there was none. They asked me did i want condiments and I replied yes " I'll take all of thee above. I should have checked the bags before I left. (Wish I had some soy sauce for this rice.) Check your order before you leave. As it was my first time here I am disappointed in by the things mention above. I ordered garlice shrimp. I was expecting to be wowed by garlic and I'm not. Hence garlic shrimp. Not worth the money 💰 If you ask me. The vegetables were okay. The entire experience was nothing memorable. I could have just went to the regular fast food take out Chinese food already cooked. And save myself some money and the drive.

Double charged!!! We paid our bill and left. The server tracked us down at 7-11 and told us it didn't go through... though I remember the transaction being completed. I went back and paid again, but it was a different amount which I thought was strange. I quickly checked my account on my phone and sure enough I had been charged for two different bills. Charges weren't pending. Both had gone through. I showed them my account on my phone and asked if they could check their transaction history... they told me there was no mistake and there was nothing they could do. I'm bummed that they didn't at least acknowledge the error or say sorry. poor business. Poor service.

In my mind Thai noodles are delicious. Though there are places like this restaurant that can prove to you that "Thai" noodles don't have to be top tier. I'm very forgiving in the food department but I couldn't have been more disappointed with the pad see yew I tried. The texture, noodles just kinda fell apart. Flavor was really off, like it needs a variety of treatments to make it good but shortcuts were taken or something. Couple of years ago I was disappointed in the wait time. Now the food has gone down hill.

I normally love Thai food but this experience wasn't so great. I ordered yellow curry with chicken. I mostly got yellow curry with potatoes and very little or barely any chicken. When I mentioned it and showed them my plate with all the potatoes, they did nothing about it. I had also ordered a Thai tea. It took just a few sips and it was gone. The size of the cup was small and filled up with ice. My yellow curry with mostly potatoes was 18.95 plus $3.95 for my tea/ice cubes.. I don't usually like to leave negative reviews, but they didn't seem to want to correct it or didn't seem to care.

This spot is the epitome of “You got me effed up!” Don’t come here if you expected to be served or get your moneys worth. Food had good flavor despite the portions being small. But service was so horrible we won’t be back and encourage you to not go either. From the time we sat down, it was at least 5 mins before we were acknowledged. We were instructed to “grab your own menu” by the waitress/hostess/cashier who seemed more preoccupied with their drive thru than their dinning room. We placed our orders and requested some hot sauce and chop sticks when our meal came. A few mins went by and nothing. We asked again, and the waitress pointed to the top of a trash can where all the hot sauces and condiments are kept and told us we could retrieve our own. My mother is disabled so mobility is a challenge. Nevertheless, she got up and got her own condiments. Shortly after, the waitress came over to our table and took the chili and soy sauce off of our table and gave it to another table! Lunch specials came with egg rolls which didn’t include sauce. When we requested some she brought one small saucer with a measly squirt of sauce for the whole table. Probably the equivalent of one ketchup packet worth of sauce. Apparently at this restaurant you are expected to share sauce you all are going to double dip in, to help them keep their costs down 😂. We asked for one more sauce bc we weren’t in the mood for sweet & sour saliva. The waitress had it on her tray already. She lowered her tray and said “take it”. Girl what? What waitress expects their guest to retrieve their own menus, retrieve their own sauces and utensils from the serving station and grab their own sauce off of your serving tray? Now time to pay. We put two cards down and asked the bill be split in half. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary. But, splitting the bill is something they won’t do bc the bank charges them per swipe is what we’re told. Literally a $.35 charge (if that) per swipe. I’m spending my money to come out and eat at a restaurant, the last thing I want to deal with is feeling like I walked onto an episode of “Extreme Cheapskates” and treated like an inconvenience. These people take penny pinching to the next level and it’s exhibited in every aspect of their business and how they “serve” their paying clientele. But hey, definitely check them out if you’re in the market for some costume jewelry. They have an entire display case of it for sale in the middle of the dinning room of their restaurant.

I didn't really care for this place.. not going back. When asked to give me the condiment the lady replied I already put them in !! So just to double check! She didn't add them and only gave one small hot sauce!! So yeah I don't care for cheap tight places like this one.

Food use to be good, I don't know what happened. The quality has dropped off. Not going there anymore. I complained and got an analytical response.

I've never been treated so badly than when I mentioned that the chicken tasted old and dry. Then even after giving more than a 50% tip I was treated like a bum or low class patron and shoed out the door like stray dog that wondered in off the street ..

The food was good but I wanted minty pork and they said they didn't have it on the menu? I had it 2 yrs ago here, new owners or they lied? Not going back!

Would give negative 5 on service. I had legitimate service issues and when I told her she copped an attitude. Came to light she confused me with some problem customer; I actually raved about these guys prior to this. Anyway, when I said she was confusing me she said to drop it because I was wasting her time because I probably didn’t have a job. She said in business 30 years so your business doesn’t matter. Wouldn’t type that here but imagine me cursing up a storm in my head.

We waited 1 hour for our food. The waitress never waited on us. The lady from the back had to come out. They never apologized. People who came 30 minutes after us got their food before us. Terrible service!!! Don’t go there!!! Ordered beers and had to ask twice for them….

Food was great, service was terrible. They brought me the wrong dish, good thing I checked cause I don't eat meat and i stated NO MEAT WHICH THE WAITRESS REPEATED. MY DISH HAD MEAT THE SALAD WAS BROWN SO IN RETURN I DIDN'T LEAVE A TIP.

Drove by and decided to try it. And boy was i super disappointed food was super bland and what flavor it did have was meh.the papaya salad was definitely the worst I have ever tried. Definitely do not recommend

Food is good but the service is awful. Went in with my husband, waiter told us to help ourselves and grab a menu, and find a table. Yet came in a white older man, and waiter gladly grab a menu for him and almost sat him down! Even the short haired waitress stopped paying attention to us while we were ordering. This place is prejudiced

This thai restaurant USED to be excellent! Not so much these days.... They have lowered their standards drastically. The spring rolls they originally had were delicious . Perfectly crisp with tastes glass noodles, scallion, carrot and all kinds of flavor. Sadly what they are calling spring rolls are mushy cabbage rolls. One order was black mush inside( we there them away) Not sure why they dropped the quality. Out phad thai no longer has crushed nuts or fresh cilantro or line on it anymore. The pictures and descriptions are not even close to the actual dishes brought to your table. I am actively looking for a new Thai restaurant. I have supported TC since the late 90s. I miss their original quality & taste. Just can't keep throwing take out away. It's gotten pricey.

I ordered Dinner#1 Mongolian Beef and got a vegetable medley with a few slices of beef, and the lady or owner kept on asking if we''re done and how many boxes do we need NOT EVEN HALFWAY THROUGH OUR LUNCH! It's like she's hurrying us to leave. She also took away our condiments in the middle of our meal. Very disappointed with the service.

I read another review that stated that their food tasted sweet, like sugar. Well, I decided to give this place a try and I ordered Pad Thai noodles, it tasted very sweet! I couldn't finish it. The portions were decent but the taste was gross. I'll probably never to back.

Thought I’d try it out since my fav place was closed, that was a bad idea. Ordered beef Panang curry and it was super watery, oily & the beef was crazy rough. Also got the “cream cheese” wontons and they were not filled with cream cheese, but some kind of meat instead. Definitely won’t be going back. Waste of $30 for two small crappy items.

In all fairness, this place used to be descent, oh well.

Hair (black hair with gray ends) found in crab fried rice. Called the establishment and they are giving me grief about refunding me. I paid using my debit card. I will update this post/review after returning the food/crab rice dish after work this afternoon. Giving a poor review more because of the customer service when report the hair. Might be reporting to Healy department as well.
