I haven't had any of the plates but the tacos and quesadillas are delicious! Just the flour tortillas alone really make these tacos a cut above most taco places anywhere I've ever been. The sirloin is the best meat on the menu but the pork adobado is also quite tasty. The variety of salsas are mostly very good too with a variety of levels of picante from different chiles and flavors. They have Big Red on tap! It's also been an institution here in Laredo for over 20 years. Go try it!

I give it 5 stars i have happend to pass by the billboard i was a little sketchy about it first because i am very picky about my mexican food but this place is great they have a variety of Chiles which are very good with the chips they serve and the Chicken quesadillas are the BEST i Reccomend if your not sure what to get

Affordable food with a great taste. They had a enchilada special that was good. I had the enchiladas verdes and they were good. My wife and kids had the rojos and they liked them.

During these Covid 19 times meals were freshly cooked. So please expect a small waiting period before your meal arrives. The staff is very friendly and the cook makes a wonderfully flavored fajita chopped steak.

Our favorite taco place. The piratas are excellent. The salsa bar is good. I especially love the green avocado one. Our kids love the cheese quesadillas and bean and cheese tacos. I love their tortillas. They're homemade and delicious. Their prices are fair, and they have good specials.

Food was authentic and delicious! Order was up quick. Hot, freshly made tacos! The condiment bar was fully stocked, fresh, and had many choices. This is a great place for a quick lunch, or dinner. Staff was very friendly and courteous.

When I first arrived what initially caught my attention was the smell of the restaurant's entrance, which, had to do with the bathrooms being so close. Besides that, the restaurant itself was very presenting with a variety of foods, plentiful seating, and included a salsa bar. Tortilla chips were free to take like appetizers, and the meal ordered was great in every way. A great experience overall.

This place has very good food, but the struggles were they didn't speak English. They screwed up my wife's order. Because we didn't want to wait for another 15 minutes, we just dealt with it. They mixed my wife's ranch style beans with fideo. That is not what was order. We ordered steak tacos, and we got fajita. Very disappointing.

An institution of Laredo that is a must stop and see. Rich pozole with very tender pork. South Texas style barbacoa could rival any other in the area. Handmade corn tortillas are soft and perfect. Giant salsa bar for any taste. One of the best Mexican food experiences in US.

Ordered the taco combo, with includes 2 tacos of your choice and a side with a drink. I got the fajita tacos with a side of fideo and they were good!

Nicely done Mexican cuisine. The steak tacos are just delicious! The chicken tacos need some salsa to help add a little flavor. The price is pretty decent as you get a full stomach from one of the combos with ease. Not a busy place, so you have a quieter atmosphere. I can see myself frequenting this place during my upcoming business trips to Laredo.

I love their corn 🌽 tortillas . They are the very best in Laredo! I only wish they wouldn't chop the meat 🥩 so much or the chicken 🐔 and pork! I would love it if they would leave it in chunks, especially in their "tote bowls 🥣, if they would divide it into equal parts. They add too much "arroz" and very little meat.

Unfortunately this location was closing early when I arrived, but I was offered to place a to-go order and great service from the staff. The food was excellent and there was a great variety of toppings. My only disappointment was there was no type of cheese.

While this spot didn't entirely match my tourist expectations, I still had a pleasant experience and enjoyed the flavorful food. As a local, I'd likely return here regularly – perhaps every few weeks – which speaks to its overall quality and appeal. I paid $19 and change for these two steak tacos and sides. Very nice.

I like this place over all. I think it's a lot better than Taco Palenque and is better priced. But why in the world would you only start serving meat tacos after 11am? If it's a taco place I expect it to have all tacos available from the time they open until they close.

UPDATE: 1/28/2025 Do not place orders via UBER eats &/or Door Dash. They do not take notice to the written notes nor do they even consider adding the salsas requested on the order. When I called the restaurant, the "so called Manager, Maria" says she does not have time to make sure orders are completely or correctly fulfilled because she does not have time. So, that just makes me understand that mediocre service is at the top of their list. This manager must go! 2018 Generally its a "Hit" or "miss" with this place. I only stop here for breakfast 1 - 2 a month. I order a bacon and egg taco and a potato and chorizo. During this particular visit the bacon and egg was dry the egg was not moist and fluffy, the bacon was tasty. The chorizo and potatoes...well I never saw the chorizo on the taco but it did kinda smell like chorizo, oh! and the potatoes had a bit of a reddish color to it. I am assuming it WAS cooked in chorizo. The salad/salsa bar usually has red/purple onions in vinegar. The vinegar cooks the onion and ads flavor. They soaked it in WATER! My personal opinion is if you own/run a Mexican restaurant in the USA in a border city to MEXICO don't run it mediocrely. Stay true to the flavors of Mexican cuisine and do not cut corners.

Went through drive. Forget it. Never again. Took almost an hour to get our food qnd they even forgot something. Luckily we were still there. They blamed it on low personnel for the morning. There was inly one other car in the drive and they waited also for about 25 minutes. Dining room was almost empty. I was there the day before and it was a timely experience.

No vegan options aside from guac. Lobby trashcans were overflowing. Employee collecting trash spilled a bunch right by the condiment bar and was in no hurry to clean it up.

Horrible service. Will not go back. We ordered. They’re supposed to bring the food to your table. It’s 11pm. Nobody in the restaurant. The girls behind the counter are standing around chit chatting. After about 15 minutes we start to wonder where our food is. I walk up to the counter and it’s right there, obviously been sitting there awhile. I ask why they didn’t bring it or at least let us know it was ready. The girl says (pointing at a guy mopping and cleaning windows,) “we were waiting for him to take it to you.” I don’t think any further explanation is needed. Oh and they locked the doors and turned away people at 11:30pm, the posted hours say they close at 12am.... today is 10/25/17.

Not impressed with the food or the staff. I went early in the morning and asked if they could make my tacos without egg yolks, even if there was an extra charge. The cashier looked at me strangely and then said all the food was already prepared and they do not make exceptions. (There was no one else ordering and the restaurant was empty). I modified my breakfast selection and as I ordered, the cashier acted as if ordering the food was an offense to her. She huffed and puffed when I asked for a lid for my coffee and just pointed to where they were. First AND LAST time I'll ever step foot inside here. No wonder this location is always empty when I drive by.

Upon previous instances, this establishment has failed to properly execute the desired product. For instance, today I ordered sirloin tacos and specified corn tortillas, however they were all flour tortillas. There continued incompetence has proven their lack of aptitude for customer service.

The service from the girls at this place was just horrible, we order the 2 for 26 and it comes in the skillet plate, well the plate was sooooo hot the meat and onion startted to burn, i gave it a few turns so it wouldnt stick to the foil paper they placed. But guess what it did! The food lost flavor and was hard we ate threw our order until we decided to make a suggestions to the waiter( or the person that brings the food to the table) and was in shock when she goes well ive beeb serving plates and noone had complained. She then offered to bring a taco with and i qoute" the same amiunt meat left in the skillet" we told her that we would think about it, since we were still eating i took the plate and accepted the free taco, and she said she would take it to the table and i told her i would stand there for it, she then proceed to yell at me what kind of tortilla i wanted, thats when i knew she wabted for me to leave so she and the other ladies could talk about me behind my back, they all made their remarks about the incident and then one goes thats the way the food is. I told her that the food was burnt not mentained hot. What a terrible service from this 3 ladies. Like if they were going to picth in to pay for the exchange of tacos. Just very sad.

Went to order drive thru. Waitress came out of the building instead of ordering thru window. Didn't offer no specials, took like 25 minutes to get my order, came out, and paid her but no order then finally got my order and when she handed my order and change it fell inside my car no apologies or nothing. Never again going back or order thru drive thru it sucks.

Worst experience, took over 30 mins for 2 tacos (wasn’t even that busy). Asked for them to put everything into a Togo bag. Just threw it at me. Like wow. Then the order wasn’t even right. And it was cold like it had been ready for 30 mins. Never going to this location again. WORST FOOD I’ve ever had from there wow.

I spent 43 dollars including a 10 dollar tip for the dasher and NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER. The dasher came app the way to the delivery then just drove away with me standing there watching!!

I ordered on the phone to not wait that long because I have a limited lunch time, they recited the order back to me on the phone correctly. got there received it and it was missing a whole taco pack. my fault for not checking a 57 dollar order isn’t complete but for the price it should be correct. I went back told the same employee who answered the phone and gave the order she missed a whole taco pack. told her the order again received it after 20 more minutes and instead of refried like I asked I got charros AND the meat was tough and disgusting for the entire order. only good thing in the order was the enchiladas verdes that weren’t even for me, but for the price don’t go here just go to Danny’s.

We waited 45 min to get out food. A parrillada. There were no Margaritas, they were 99c. Store had fans in the lobby. They made a lot of noise we move tables. We ask the person who was bringing the food that it had been 45 min. Since we order. She replied "the person forgot to put them meat on the grill." So I wont b returning to this restaurant. NEVER!
