So many people and great service. The food was good but it needs flavor chile relleno lacked in flavor, fries as well. The meat i asked for medium rare and got well done. But i understand since theres so many people they need to cook for as well.
Great food, if you have not stopped at Clementines you must try it. Their dragon fruit drink is delicious, not over powering but just the right amount of sweetness. The panko chicken is excellent, crispy & perfectly cooked. Service is always good. It tends to be crowded so expect to wait for a table during rush hour. They just need more parking.
Love trying hole in the wall type places. This place is in a very old building but didn't let that fool you, it's worth the go. We got the meatballs for appetizer, chicken fried chicken and panko chicken. We loved it all but the panko chicken and spicy spaghetti was the best. My wife rated the chicken fried chicken a 8/10. I rated the panko chicken and spicy spaghetti a good 10/10. My son and i loved the meatballs but my wife and daughters, not so much. Definitely recommended!
Just found this hidden gem after seeing reviews online, and man were we impressed! We tried several appetizers, including the chile relleno balls, jalapeño poppers, fried mozzarella, and boneless wings, which were all amazing. Our meals included the steak à la chipotle, birria tacos, and the “special” (chicken Parmesan à la vodka). None of them disappointed! Staff was friendly and hard working. The place is small, but charming. All in all, great experience and I’m only disappointed I didn’t know about this place sooner!
Everything from the food to the drink is freshly prepared. Our party of 4 ordered different dishes and we all eventually tried each other's dishes. The owner gifted us a chile relleno ball and it was light, flavorful with a gorgeous outer coating.
My second visit to Clementine’s Kitchen What a great experience visited yesterday on Monday Order some puffy tacos they where very crunchy enjoy them. But I was still hungry so I ordered the special breaded chicken with spaghetti and green beans wow this plate was off the the chart very delicious and full of flavors wow I was very impressed my mouth was blushing with. Unique flavors the the crust and the breaded chicken was excellent full of flavor the creamy Alfredo sauce on the spaghetti wow great service had a great waitress the dragon fruit lemonade is amazing thank you so much. We will return soon. Outstanding food and service most excellent.
This is the best restaurant in Laredo hands down. I go eat here 3 times a week lol it gets pricey by going here so much but the food is so addicting. This place is always packed but for good reason! And no matter how busy they are, they never give you attitude. Everyone is so friendly. Please never close down!!
The food was the best I've had in awhile. It tasted fresh and homemade .The poblano sauce on the chicken was delicious and have never tasted anything like it . The chicken as well was crispy and cooked to perfection and the chile relleno balls are so different and delicious making them a great appetizer! This the second time I've eaten there and both times the food has been perfect . I honestly hope that this restaurant becomes a staple in our community for years to come , they deserve it .
Lunch time was happening, friendly staff, delicious and crunchy goodness.
We went for lunch around noon. The place was packed but we were attended promptly. Beverages were cold and refreshing. The food was hot and delicious though we had left overs as portions are big. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely come back!
The food I got here was fantastic! I got the penko crusted chicken breast, and it comes with a spicy garlic pasta, which was great, and some green beans that were also good, and I never eat green beans! Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite!
The food was amazing it was our first time coming. The taste was delicious," "fresh," "vibrant," "perfectly cooked. The owner came to our table and recommended the “Chile Relieno Fired Balls” and WOW! It was so flavorful, so good and it melt-in-your-mouth. Yes, we are coming back and trying other Plates from the Menu. You guys have to try it.
This is a local secret spot! Absolutely delicious! The food is cooked from scratch and made to order. I recommend the panko crusted chicken with spicy garlic sauce. 10 out of 10
The restaurant is small, it has a hole-in-the-wall feel. It is very calm yet inviting. The food was exquisite and very well served. The price was also surprisingly very affordable. There was only one server but it was not noticeable since she was very attentive and friendly.

My family and I love coming here to eat. The food is delicious! Service is great and their drinks are incredible. Everything tastes amazing!
Had lunch at 2:00 it was busy on Friday but were quick to serve. 👍

Been twice and both times have had great food and excellent service. The chicken parm and pasta is an easy entry into larger pants.
I ate here for the first time recently and ordered the Par’s special and I have never eaten this type of dish in my life and it was so delicious! The creamy sauce was something I’ve never tasted before. The real test was my son’s reaction, my son is not a huge fan of green beans and broccoli, but for my son to say this dish was and I quote “Hella good” you know it’s worth eating this dish again. I also tried the Chile Rellono Balls, genius idea! This appetizer is so so good. I look forward to eating something different the next time!
I went to Clementine Kitchen for lunch and ordered the Steak à la Chipotle. The portion was good and the flavor was great. I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
I grew up in the border town of El Paso. I thought I had plenty of experience with all types of Mexican food, but Clementine's showed me wrong! They offer Mexican dishes I'd never even heard of -- some of them of their own invention. For example, the chile relleno balls appetizer is, I think, Clementine's own creation, and they're delicious. Also, I'd never tried a quesabirria. It's like a quick-fried form of shredded beef taco with red sauce that's packed with lots of flavor. The place is very casual and welcoming, and the lady who greeted me and took my order could not have been more pleasant.

Best chicken parm I’ve ever had , definitely recommend 10/10 and the service was wonderful , the staff was very friendly and right away let us know about the special of the day ! Will be coming back soon !
My go-to is the Pat Special but all the items on the menu are delicious. I also recommend trying their lemonades! This is by far one of the best restaurants in Laredo.

I've been meaning to try this place, but the hours are limited. I finally was looking for a place for the family to get some home cooked food (without cooking at home), and Clementines is just the place. The best part for me is the historic building. It just echoes across time, and when you step inside.....it's like a time warp. The smell of the old wood and paint almost complimented the smell of the food. A quick glance at the short but affordable menu and Chicken Cordon Blue it was. Unfortunately, what I received was chicken fried chicken, with a slice of Swiss chess and a dollop of blue cheese sauce. It was not Chicken Cordon Blue, but it tasted ok. My wife did get the chicken fried chicken, but even she said it needed some salt. There was not a lot of flavor. The green beans were too pica. Almost like they put too much black pepper. My son's spaghetti was cooked to perfection, but the sauce was watery and lacked flavor. My other son ordered a burger, which was clearly hand pressed from ground beef, and he enjoyed it. The hopeful highlight was the anticipation of the flavored lemonade. We were excited to try the dragonfruit and pineapple lemonade. Unfortunately, it was not very lemony, and the flavor was similar to a syrup based drink and not fresh squeezed fruit like agua fresco. I'm very disappointed. The service was good until the lunch crowd came in. There just weren't enough waitresses for the number of people coming in for lunch. All the city workers from downtown flooded the restraunt. Also, there was very limited parking, and we had trouble leaving. Enjoy!

The food was okay, it was like homemade comfort food, nothing extravagant, but okay. The restaurant itself needs a little tidying up, I think, it looks too, too dirty inside, like unkempt. The starter dishes that we got were chipped, a lot, I’m not sure if that was the aesthetic, but it didn’t look too good. The girl who attended us was super nice though, attentive. Although, when we were seated we wanted to ask for something and the girl was sitting a few tables away from us, but she was eating as well, which is totally okay, everyone needs to chow down, but I don’t know, maybe do that in the back? I don’t know, don’t cancel me 😞 granted there wasn’t any other customers in the restaurant aside from us. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, and I would like to try more of their food.

I've always been a big fan of this Restaurant due to its great amount of food and it's prices but today I got a very thin piece of chicken that was overcooked. Sad to see quality control going down.
