Caffe Dolce North

The coffee is amazing and the food is great! Each visit isn't a disappointment, and the staff are very friendly. It has a nice atmosphere, and very relaxing for people who just want to drink coffee and read. It is a bit difficult to access, but I don't believe it reflects the wonderful service and eatery here.

This was my first time here, and I’m really happy this place exists. The workers were so incredibly giving and kind. My partner and I were accommodated for being vegan with delicious veggie/hummus paninis! Their pasta salad was also made vegan (no feta), and was so tasty!! We sat outside under a tree, beside some pretty plants drawing and reading after eating and felt so present and happy. The camomile tea was also delicious! I wish I took a picture of my food for you all but we both ate them up so fast! So happy kind people in a place like this exists!! Much love.

One of the best cafes in Laredo. You definitely have to eat here for lunch this week. I recommend the turkey pep panini with a side of pesto pasta. Don't forget the prickly pear lemonade!

I review alot of places. I don't give out 5 stars unless you really blow me away. That said, Cafe Dolce got 4 stars easliy. Cafe Dolce is a quaint, eclectic, artsy place with a nostalgic 70's hippy vibe. Even the non mainstream music is there to complete the feel. Nothing to fancy, just friendly service and a great lunch menu. The Chipotle chicken is spot on. It's great on the toasted sandwich, or on the salad. Converted from a home, this place checks all the boxes for something different. Great experience keeps me coming back near a half dozen times!

The staff is so kind and outgoing so I’ll def come back for that, the sandwiches, and the Mexican Vanilla Latte.

Food is delicious, but the only thing that they do need to get are highchairs. It is so hard to dine in and having a baby/toddler sit on your lap while you try to eat.

If I could give it a 0 star rating I would. Today was the first time I had ordered from this store, I ordered through a a delivery app that gave me an option to order from this place. This incident was not the apps fault as I have used this app several times. I had made a timed order at 4:30 and it was a very simple order really, and panini and a pasta that’s it, as my lunch break approached I received a call that this store was not answering any of their phone calls and could not get in thouch to pick up my order so they had to cancel it. I made my part from calling this store several times with no answer. The application says that this store does not close till five as well as here in google. Very disappointing

I love the food there but it over priced and they close too early they should open at least 3 more hours for people that go to school and want to eat there but not bc there close. I went there today (Saturday) and searched it up on google if they were open and it said it was so we went to caffe dolce and they were closed. After the last owner sold to the place it downhill and changed the bread on the Mac and cheese panini for a cheaper one and there really rude.

I love the food, no doubt its delicious but its the service thats horrible. The young lady in the front is so rude, visibly annoyed with customers. Considering that this is a customer based business, maybe you should consider placing a friendlier face with better social skills.

Walked in at 8:15 and knew they closed at 9 but when I walked in all the chairs were already put up therefore I asked if they were closing and the lady at the front responded “no but we’re only doing take-out orders” very rudely and continued closing the register or whatever she was doing. I found it very rude and will not be going back. You don’t treat customers that way regardless if you’re close to closing or not. I work at a restaurant and we never respond by saying only take out or deny service regardless if they walk in a minute before we close.

The quality has really gone down. I got a chipotle chicken panini the bread looks different smaller too and even the amount they fill it in was a joke. Also why is it sometimes more spicy than other times, flavor should be consistent hence why people go back to things anyway over priced and the blonde lady was rude
