The food is always freshly made. Workers are always friendly. Today we dinned in after picking my little ones from school and although Willow was extremely busy her customer service was outstanding. Watching her work was a delight. Checked up on us after our meal she was the sweetest. She definitely stands out!
Always good food and great portions. One of the workers, Carolina, is so nice and has great customer service! We went in the drive thru and they forgot our cream cheese ragoons, she came running out to our car to make sure we got them. I hope management sees this and rewards her for the amazing customer service skills!
This is a very nice location. It’s located just off the interstate. Staff is friendly, great selection of food, great service, plenty of seating and plenty of parking. I stopped in for lunch one day and the next and will definitely go back. I highly recommend.
Food taste great just need improvement on quantity. Greeted with a smile with new employees striving their best to serve customers. Not everyone is perfect but they trying their best. Glad to see Lathrop increasing businesses and more job opportunities. Leave reviews to help them improve NOT throw them under the bus and shut the business down.
I was on my road trip to Sacramento on Wednesday night… and decided to stop in Lathrop for some panda express because I was literally dying to eat after not having eaten for a whole day. The next thing you know, it turned out to be the most quickest, and most convenient drive-through that I have ever gone through (not to mention, knock on wood, that it is PANDA EXPRESS!) I got their plate with chow mein, broccoli beef, and teriyaki chicken. When I tell you that they cooked everything really well, they actually did, and it didn’t taste too dry or too runny. I love the consistency and the texture of how juicy the teriyaki chicken was, and how saucy the broccoli beef was as well. The person that was taking my order was really helpful, and even asked me to donate to charity for a cause… and I gladly said yes. I would recommend this place if you want to get a quick bite via drive-thru, as this could be the best option. However, do keep in mind that rush-hour traffic may not reflect directly as I mentioned (because I did get this at 7pm)

Ordered bigger plate and drink for delivery. Food was great and within delivery window from Panda website. Received text notice from driver when they arrived. Digital tracking as well! Shrimp and Chicken were well seasoned, crispy. Fried rice and greens were fresh, not soggy.

Pretty decent food, not a big fast food fan but I always get my kids rice & chow mein. It's pretty good when the right cook is there. Which has been pretty frequent as of late. Pretty fast drive threw service, friendly employees. I've never had any problems.

The young lady who assisted me told me that they don't walk out to the vehicles anymore. Overall it's a good place to get a quick delicious bite.

This panda is a typical panda express but I would say slightly less than average when it comes to accuracy and service. My family and I have gone here a few times and have had incorrect orders, forgotten items, or the serving sizes be very different. Don't recommend door dashing either because it needs like serving sizes are very small compared to in person.
Very little food compared to other Pandas I've been to. Absolutely, stingy. Food not hit, I only live up the block. Terrible to get home and you barely have food especially after a tip. Looks like I should have read the reviews beforehand because so far, they are truthful. The thing is, you don't say anything they won't change.
This is my second try at Panda Express. Once again, I am not impressed. For one the Kung Pao was way undercooked and had absolutely no flavor compared to other Chinese Restaurants. The fried rice, however; was exceptional. The young lady at the register had a huge chip on her shoulder. For $18 an hour, you would think she'd at least have a smile. She was very short and snippy and really got irritated when I asked for Chinese mustard. Her response very rudly "We don't have any". I very politely responded that she might want to let the management know, "If you're going to sell Chinese food, you might want to carry Chinese condiments. " She really got irritated with that. Almost threw my change at me, then kind of stormed off. I love Chinese food, will I give Panda Express a third go, probably not. It seems that some of the younger staff just doesn't have a clue.
Ordered online for pick and barely got any food on my plate this is crazy, never going to this panda again.
*****Update***** 9/4/2025 My food was ok. It's pretty late, and I just needed a quick bite. Apparently they don't have 1st responder, or Military discount anymore. Pretty sad. Who knows maybe the cashier just didn't want to process it for some reason. This was 4 years ago.... This place just opened up on my exit to my home. My daughter was happy to see it open and I opened a family meal. $35 for 3 large entrees, 2 sides. I also ordered walnut shrimp for and extra $10. Everything was fresh and they cooked the teriyaki chicken, chowmein and Beijing Beef fresh for my big order. It was clean and bright. They have Military discount too!
Went through drive thru and they made me wait in the parking lot for my Beijing beef to be cooked. She said wait 5 mins. I sat in the parking lot for 20 mins and finally walked in to ask what was going on. She had my food on the counter and never brought it out to me like she said she would. She totally forgot about me waiting

It was an order of fried rice, chow mein, kung pao chicken, and beef and broccoli. I did order at 5-6pm so that probably contributed to the freshness. I have been when I was served not so fresh food, and I don’t recommend that. 3/5 since the quality is dependent on time of the day and aleatory.
We visit here 2 to 4x monthly. It's very conveniently located off highway 5 and Lathrop road exit. They have a public restroom, which is generally pretty clean (except if you use it for #2, it won't flush it down due to a ridiculously low flow water source on the toilet). The food is typical panda express quality, so meh. And it's an easy stroll from the nearest electric car chargers, Just 2 blocks away. So overall a decent value. You can feed a family of 3 for under 65 bucks. Sometimes less if premium items are skipped. Sadly this site has a greatly reduced panda menu, so most of my favorites are not available, which is frustrating. But I'm sure they do that so they can keep up with the food volume they generate every day. This restaurant is always busy. Day and nite.

I got there, they were out of chicken, then told me it would be 5 minutes, I waited 15 minutes for them to keep moving my plate to the side by the cold drinks and serving everyone else the food I had been waiting for.They don’t even had stir things in the wok it’s all automated and up to date for mid service.
These people charged me 4.50 for honey walnut prawns and barely filled the box up three quarters of the way. I would say I'm owed some money back in return for not providing the entire order at the time of purchase. The serving portion is 28 prawns for the order. I highly doubt that 28 golden prawns can fit in one of these tiny boxes, normally I receive an extra small box with the additional regular box to complete my order 100%, and at this location they fail each time to complete my order.

The store refused to follow CA law and did not cash out the gift card even when the balance remaining on the gift card is less than $10. Recently, HD was fined for not following this law by CA. Looks like Panda express should learn from this HD case and should follow the laws of the land.
Went through Drive-thru and the worker barely filled up my tray. I ordered the shrimp and they only gave me 4 pieces. I had Panda Express few times before and this is not what I expected. They are very stingy and skimped out on the food. Not worth the $25-30 spent. Going to another location next time.
I don't mind wearing a mask to get food but, when you have to wait 10+ minutes because they're out of 2 items AND they don't let you sit down, that's just not cool. Their dining area is closed for "social distancing"...and I was the ONLY customer there. Not sure how that makes it cool to tell someone they can't sit to wait for their food... And the food was mediocre at best. Very oily/slimy. I was never a huge fan of panda to begin with but, this location has officially put the nail in the coffin for me.
If I could I would leave zero stars!!! I understand sometimes places get busy or whatever but it wasn’t there was one car in front of us but it is no reason to be rude and disrespectful. Went threw the drive thru and the girl taking the order was talking to us like we where bothering her for being there I don’t understand why treat customers like that. There’s ways to explain if items are out or different from other stores but you can drop the attitude. We just said never mind please cancel our order thank you. Please be better panda team.
What a S***show! Went in on a Thursday afternoon at 12:45 to pick up food. There was a typed sign stating lobby was closed and only the drive through was open. I go through the drive through. I was told it will take 10-20 minutes since I was getting the family feast and other items, for my order to be ready and to wait in my car in the parking. Turns out everyone was being given the same direction for small orders as well. There was one employee assigned to bring orders out. She would come out go to all the cars parked to find whose order it was. There were several employees inside walking around eating on the phones. Looked like everyone was on break except this poor girl running around in the parking lot. After 35 mins my order came out, I was missing items had to wait another 10 mins for that. I felt so sorry for this girl bringing all the orders out, I decided to tip her. And inquired where the manager was.I was told the manager was out. But the assistant was in, however, they were doing stuff and the other employees were eating and walking around. She looked frustrated too was sorry for the delay, I told her it was the manager’s responsibility to have a system in place and hold all employees accountable. Shame on management of this establishment, for mis-managing resources and having a plan in place for a better food delivery system. Let’s talk about the food- barely any beef in the broccoli beef, barely any chicken in the string bean chicken and chowmein not filled to the top. Not going to this establishment again.
This place is by far the worst Panda Express I have ever been to out of over 30 different restaurants. They are out of everything up to 2 hours before closing. This includes fried rice. Fried Rice! To be out of your most famous side 2 hours before closing!!?? How does this place stay in business? Don’t go there. Go somewhere else.
Rude customer service. I ordered a plate through the drive thru. And she gave me 2 bowls. I said I ordered a BOWL and A PLATE instead of 2 bowls. She had the nerve to ask if I wanted to order another. i even asked to exchange it and she said no very rudely. Why should I, a costomer, be the one to correct the employee's mistake? Never going back. EVER.🙄
Don't eat here, you will get sick, They serve frozen Ramen, steak and chicken thats not even cooked! This place will get you sick, stay away. Stirring the food under the heat lamps yelling "its still frozen" is not how youre supposed to cook the food. How is frozen food even making it to the front without being done?

My group and I went to lunch only for us to go back to work taste our food and all of our food is horrible. It tasted like it was spoiled, like it was left out and reheated the next day. They are for sure serving old food. The broccoli was terrible, chow-mein was all in tiny pieces, one girls orange chicken was hard! Like you know this was leftovers there was no way this was fresh. After reading reviews I'm not alone on this issue from this place! What a joke.
They screwed the Lunch for my kids, look the order and see what they give us. We checked once we got home otherwise we should dump it there, Only 1 order correct and 2 messed up. Ordered shrimps but she added chicken, other one asked for white rice they did chowmens. See pictures...

There was no coke, no sprite, no root beer no teas, no fanta, no cookies for the kids meals, and on top of that a cashier called “LILY” was very rude to me when I asked her to refund my money since they did not have any drinks that I actually like. She came to check on the drinks and noticed what was out and didn’t care.

Found a hair in my food. Disgusting. Not only that, but given how hungry I was, I tried a piece of chicken and it was stale and tasted bad. Mind you, I am not a picky eater. There was no one else in the drive-thru, which makes sense as to why my food I purchased was stale. A truly gross experience, I don’t think I’ll ever eat at Panda again. Let’s stick to the grocery stores folks. Too expensive for too low quality…times have changed
The new Chicken with white rice and brocoli is awful. The protein is not chicken, not sure what it is. The cut is similar to ribs, but it does not taste like pork either. Please discontinue this offering or put some real chicken in the recipe.
We visited this location in Lathrop around 9:06pm on September 7th, 2025. While the food itself was good, the service unfortunately felt like a one-star experience. The whole interaction with a server named JOLLY and how she handled a simple situation (a little problem with one of my entrées) made us feel unwelcomed and completely ruined the mood of the meal. I ended up leaving the food behind on the counter, telling JOLLY, I no longer want any of this food, as I was too upset and didn't feel like staying at a place where I felt so disrespected. She didn't even apologize, just just took the plate back and turned away! First I wanted to talk to manager, but then, thought, I don't want to invest any more of my energy into this place. Employees in hospitality should be trained to handle concerns respectfully—because service like this can turn an otherwise good meal into a very disappointing experience.

Threw it out immediately, then got to the second plate and the flood was horrible, as if it was stale/not freshly made. Called to ask for a refund, manager was rude about the situation and didn’t accept the receipt # over the phone and demanded that I come in person. I live 30 minutes away from this location (got it on my way home after a trip) literally not spending the 25$ in gas to get there to show him the recipes only to get the $25 back for the gross food. Horrible location. Don’t go here. Hope this gets to the manager he was so rude.
