Great atmosphere and beer selection. This has become our local go to bar! Bartender Jasmine is the best:-)

Best bar I've been to...great selection of beers and chill laid back environment.
Really chill spot, 2 pool tables, lots of board games, lots of seating and tables, great beers to choose from, try the big jenga!

Great spot. Several beers to choose from. No alcohol drinks. Easy atmosphere. Two pool tables. If I lived closer, I'd be there all the time.

Brooklyn Bar is great I had a ruff night at work and just wanted an ice cold beer I stopped by and got myself a lagunitas and some tacos, the atmosphere was very chill I love the way they moved some things around. The bartenders are so nice this was a great experience thanks Brooklyn.
This is the place to go if you just want to hang out with some friends and drink some brews and catch a game or 2. Bartenders are pretty cool and so is the owner.
This bar is one of the South Bays true hidden gems! From the awesome and friendly staff to the excellent beer selection they have nailed the essence of the South Bay neighborhood dive bar! The pool tables are in great shape and u can always get a game, the pinball machines are challenging and fun, and the crowd is always friendly and a good time. Pair that with the bartenders Joe, Gina, Justin, and Carlos (aka Los) and you have a great night waiting to happen. I stopped by after work to avoid the 405 almost a year ago and I keep coming back. Trust me if you like a cool place to chill and mellow out this is your spot! Come on by you wont regret it! Ill add some more pics soon.
I stopped by this place for the second time yesterday. Wasn't as crowded as my last visit which was on a holiday. Totally different experience this time. Very friendly neighborhood bar vibe. Happy hour beer prices were good too. $3 bottled Budweisers till I believe 7pm. Will be back again
I love this bar my kind of place. Everyone is very nice and friendly. I play pool at least 5 days a week. Thanks Joe, Regina and Dee. HAPPY HOLIDAYS 2024
Nice decor and prices ain't bad. Nice little joint.

Chill place. Of all the bars in the Lawndale and Torrance area this is my favorite bar. It is hip but not pretentious. The deco is classy and edgy at the same time, and the bikes attached to the ceiling are quite a sight. Service was good, as well as the drink selection; and they have games such as dominoes, uno and other. I also loved the selection of music, nice jams. Overall a great bar experience.
Great local bar . has something for everybody. Tues and Sunday they do karaoke always fun. And most major sporting events. Ask for mando great bartender he'll set you up . in a good way.
This is a great place, everyone i talked to was awesome. we were cracking jokes. everyone's nice. ill definitely be back
I must say... I love the decor. The atmosphere here is really chill. The bartenders are really cool. They have different types of beer. Draft, bottle and can. Different kind of non alcoholic beer. Shout out to Joe and Carlos, y'all are grand
The bar was huge with lots of space. We went on a Monday night (karaoke) was happening. The tap had about 8 beers. I love the Black Butte Porter . You can have a choice of a pint or a double. The pool tables are newer . The art is awesome and the vibes is chill.
This place has the perfect dive bar setting. Apparently, they no longer cook tacos, but they have some killer hot dogs that are whipped up very quick. Great beer selection, and a decent happy hour. Bar tenders seemed pretty cool, my co-workers and I are definitely planning on returning.
Man, I love Brooklyn Bar! It’s such a little hole in the wall type place, but the staff is super cool, almost like family, and their beers are good and super cheap! On Sundays and Tuesdays, they host karaoke night which is super fun, and they also offer pool and some pinball machines!
Last night was my first time going to Brooklyn Bar. Loved it, pretty chill. All the staff was amazing from the bouncer to the bartenders. It was mostly guys in there just chilling having a good time. Very respectful atmosphere ☺ Definately will be going back.
Great people come in all the time. The service and staff there are among the best. There are times you may feel like you need to get the bartenders attention but they are in it and may ask you if you need anything right before you were about to ask. Then there is the hot dog guy that comes by at night. Awesomeness. Give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. Even though everyone there may be regulars you will feel at home in no time.
My home away from home. Been coming here since they remodeled it into the best local beer bar around. Excellent craft beer selection. Pool tables. Darts. Board games. Delicious late night tacos. Tons of good times with friends. That's what Brooklyn means to me. But my favorite thing is when football is on. There is no better place to catch all the games, AND they set up a grill to do breakfast burritos for the morning games. A tasty michelada and a breakfast burrito to go with my football makes Sundays here absolute perfection.

Great local bar. Fantastic atmosphere, pool table, nice workers. Only serve beer but you gotta respect that!
Nice place, tons of Brooklyn decorations that will make you feel like you’re in Brooklyn downtown.
Great selection of prime beers.. Plenty on tap and more bottled.. Lots of local breweries represented..the ratio seems pretty good no matter when I go.. Locals are chill..
An actually pretty chill bar with a good selection of beers. They only sell beers here, not sure if by choice or by city regulations (similar to Hermosa Beach). They got the pool tables, an arcade and darts, but most just chill and listen to music. They do have a good amount of TVs on case you wanna watch the local game, old fights or drink your sorrows away as you watch the presidential election live. The jukebox (accessible through the Touch Tunes app) has a really good variety of music including currently released stuff. WARNING: make sure they have the jukebox on before you waste money on it, as some of the staff turn it off to play their own music.
Absolutely love this place, they have a large variety of beers (love the sour cucumber beer). They have awesome board games, pool table and jukebox. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because their wine is very limited. Last two times I went there they only had white wine :( but overall this is one of my favorite bars in LA
Nice dive bar. Great selection of beer, nice bartenders and really down to earth nice patrons! Taco guy on Friday nights, ALL NIGHT, handmade tortillas. Tacos & Beer... great pair! Pool tables & other table games such as UNO and Jenga. Def coming back

Nice dive bar but pretty packed on the weekends and not very friendly staff at the front door but I guess that's the point... Bartenders we're cool.
Very mellow place to have a beer they have the taco guy outside sometimes but bring your earplugs lot of F&S words
If you're looking for an authentic NYC vibe, this is NOT the place. At all. Also, as of late 2023 they don't have a liquor license. Their liquor is the same proof as wine.

I feel so embarrassed! I’m legally blind so like no glasses and surgery won’t correct it. This bar tender is all like oh I don’t know about serving you it looks like you’ve had too much to drink. My heart sank and I felt so sad once again At least this time my boyfriend was there and explained my disability in public in front of people and even show a card proving a disability. It made me feel ugly or like I look like something is bad or wrong with me. I feel sad and salty I do not recommend coming here if your disabled.
I grew up living a couple of houses from this bar, back in the good old days when Henderson Furniture was still there and it was called The Hut - I never stepped foot in there but when I did take a peak there were a handful of people in there. The crowd definitely seemed older and there was never ever any fuss heard from that bar. I have seen Brooklyn Bar through its growing pains as it does cater to a younger crowd. Initially there were fights right in front of my home, loud crowds hanging out on the block and even vandalized cars. I never had the time to make an official complaint but luckily, it did calm down quite a lot. Pro I have since moved out of Lawndale but visit friends and family quite a bit. I finally went in there about 3 years ago and had a great time! They have boards games and great affordable beer. I also cant complain that it's walking distance to the house I grew up in. Con Recently, I was there 2 weeks ago and had a terrible experience with the staff there. I forget which day of the week it was but there was a small crowd of young 20 something looking people doing kareoke. I walked in and was aggressively escorted out of the bar by the bartender - Latino male looks to be in mid 40's. I have not had the time yet to file an official complaint but for this to happen just blocks from my childhood home makes me very upset. I hope this message gets to the official Brooklyn Bar Management.

Hankerikng for a sausagefest in the middle of June? Well then hanker no further! Brooklyn Bar gives you the all the perks of the traditon of Ocktoberfest without having to worry about impressing the ladies because there are none! So if you're looking for a place to hangout with just the boys who are also looking to hangout with other boys then Brooklyn Bar is the bar for you! :)
This place was very dissapointing. I moved in down the street about 6 months ago and always wanted to visit Brooklyn. So today I did so.. it was about 2 in the afternoon and there was only one fan in the entire bar which was directly pointed at and only for the three employees all of which were just satnding around doing nothing since besides for myself and a friend the bar was completely empty...it would have made sense to have two fans...onefor employees and one pointed at the billards section so that patrons wouldn't have to be misserable. Instead there was only one fan...not for the patrons but for the employees who were just standing around...
Abysmal Experience at Brooklyn bar- Don't Waste Your Time or Money I've been a local for years and have wanted to try this place for ages. Unfortunately, my first — and last — visit was nothing short of appalling, thanks to the incredibly rude bartender, "Joe." I was summarily and inexplicably kicked out by Joe, whose exact words to me were, "I don't like you." I have never in my life felt such a profound level of disrespect as a customer simply trying to enjoy a night out. His behavior was unprofessional, unprovoked, and utterly baffling. While I can only hope that Joe is an anomaly and not representative of the entire staff, his actions have ensured that I will never set foot in this establishment again. It's a shame, as I had high hopes, but no potential upside could ever outweigh such a humiliating and unwelcoming experience. Save yourself the trouble and find a bar where you'll actually be treated with basic human decency.
