Came out to far rockaway to visit some relatives and went out after with my wife. Wow am I impressed. We were seated right away. The waiter D. gave us time to review the menu. No rushing. We had some questions and he was able to answer them like he was the chef. He new the menu and didn't hesitate to recommend one item over another. The table gets set the old fashion way with a large bowl of Cole slaw and a bowl of half sour and sour pics. (I miss this in the new age restaurants) The apps came out really quick and was extremely surprised with the amount of food they give. The mains came out soon after the apps were finished. Again the food was outstanding and the portion sizes were large. Would have loved to have had dessert but we where STUFFED. I highly recommend this restaurant. And yes they do in house catering. Was invited there for a Sheva Brochos event. Beautiful setup. Excellent service. Good food. Of course having wonderful hosts and guests helped with the atmosphere as well.

You can not go wrong with the food here. From the soup to the chicken poppers and fries. Steak sandwiches and salads. Stuffed derma and knishes. But the real stand out here are the employees of you need any catering see shiv he will get you set up right with ease and a smile. And when it comes to dining in the dining danny and Carlos will treat your like family with warm friendly fast and professional service. This is my go to spot when I just don't want to think about what I'm going to eat. You will not be disappointed.

Great service everytime. Beware however, Sunday nights are busy with many large groups over four - so lock in that reservation you will need it. The house steak ($40) was a pleasant surprise. And the baked sweet potato was just what little Irving needed.

Went there for the first time on thanksgiving because I have heard good reviews. First off they gave us a thanksgiving menu and told us regular menu is not available then after we complained they said regular menu is limited and we were forced to order the overpriced thanksgiving menu. The side was a choice of soup of salad. My husband ordered soup which came very cold. The salad was inside the smallest dish they had and contained only 5-6 pieces of lettuce with sauce. The main course was not yo our liking and the dessert either.they said we get unlimited drinks but we had to ask for it several times. We asked for tea with our desert and that was also cold. The waiter was nice. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant looked very clean. My son ordered from the regular menu and was happy with his choice. Maybe we give it another try a regular day yo see if anything changes.

I would recommend going somewhere else. It was very loud and hard to hear who I was sitting with. I didn’t like the pastrami I had it was extremely salty and kinda slimy. Not completely on them since my friend loved the pastrami. Then I got my food boxed up to go and part of my meal wasn’t included in the container. They also didn’t include the pastrami I took off my sandwich which I was planning to box up for my friend who actually liked it. I guess I should have specified that the food on my plate should have been included but I’ve never had this happen at any other eating establishment I’ve ever been to. Given how pricey everything is, I’m not please that they didn’t include this. Overall would definitely say there are better places for kosher food. What I will say on the positives is that our waiter was fantastic. We were a fairly large group and all of our food came at approximately the same time. He was very attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed.
