Kai Sushi has become more than just a restaurant for our family. it’s a place filled with happiness and special memories. The sushi and sashimi are always fresh and amazing, and the tonkatsu and udon are dishes our kids love as much as we do. Our 5year daughter even says that visiting Kai Sushi is the happiest moment of her life. That kind of joy says everything about the quality of the food and the warmth of the chef, who makes every visit feel so welcoming.

Very affordable and fresh sushi without cutting corners. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant was very peaceful and comfortable. The 5 piece + specialty roll lunch combination came with some amazing nigiri pieces you would normally be paying a whole lot more for anywhere else. Would highly recommend!

The best sushi in the Leander/Cedar area. portions are fantastic, fish is very fresh and the Gluten free variety is amazing!

She loves sushi in general so she's tried many other places but she says this one is the best. We as a family absolutely love this place. The quality is exquisite👌(the sushi just melts in your mouth), and the service is amazing. Hands down one of the best sushi in town!

I called to place a pick up order and this was my first experience here and let me tell you I was impressed first and foremost by the wait staff and the chefs behind the sushi counter. They greeted when you walked in and wished you well when you left! The establishment I must say was quite small and not a lot of tables so I'm curious to see how it looks when it's busy because due to all this rain there was plenty of seating. Ok now to the food I ordered the chicken pot stickers, Super Godzilla roll and the Shaggy dog roll, all were AMAZING and very flavorful. You could tell it was fresh and that my friends makes all the difference in the world especially when it comes to shusi! Had really good flavor all around and will definitely be going back to dine in and enjoy the full experience. If your looking for a really good sushi establishment then I say look no further and give this place a try I'm glad I did and they will now how a frequent customer! Thank you Kai Shushi for experience simply AMAZING!

I couldn’t possibly express how much my partner and I love this restaurant. The ambience is charming, the staff is so sweet and attentive, and most importantly the food is consistently delicious. The quality and freshness of the fish relative to the price is worth it. It’s a small place that gets busy on Friday and Saturday night so try them on a weeknight and spend time trying the sashimi sampler to see what you like most that day. And if it’s a special occasion, call ahead and get the boat!! So worth it!!

This was unexpectedly good. We loved every bite of everything we tried. The crispy rice with salmon was so good that we ordered a second serving. The rolls and sushi were fresh, great serving sized portions and I can't wait to order everything again. The White Dragon roll and the Spider Roll were both delicious. The chocolate mousse for desert was so good that we couldn't stop eating it even though we were full at that point.

Best Sushi in Austin! Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. This was our third time visiting, and it was amazing as always. It is shocking to say that having this type of quality food in this area. Hands down the freshest sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. I highly recommend ordering the mochi ice cream before leaving as a dessert. Overall, 10/10!!

Kai Sushi- excellent!! Go there now! Friendly staff and delicious sushi. You also need to order the spicy tuna crispy rice as an appetizer!! You can bring your own sake which we did. We ordered the Geisha roll and one with strawberries on top. I forget the name but I was surprised by it. Huge pieces. Kai Sushi, I’ll be back!!

I've frequently heard praise for Kai Sushi from my friends, and today I wholeheartedly agree with their sentiments. I went there to celebrate my birthday with my family. The sushi was remarkably fresh, and all the dishes were delicious, complemented by a superb design that left nothing lacking for a celebratory occasion. The interior was clean, not overly crowded, and the prompt preparation of the food made the experience enjoyable without long waits. Every staff member was friendly, adding a warm atmosphere that perfected the entire experience.

Kai Sushi just became my favorite sushi restaurant in Austin area. The quality of sashimi was fantastic, and the price was reasonable! And the interior of the restaurant is modern and fancy. I loved it! Great customer service was a bonus. I will definitely come back with my family again. Of course, if I have important guests, I will bring them here! And just so you know, Starbucks is right next to the restaurant if you want coffee after your meal ;)
