Cute and stylish place on the embankment in the city center of Lecco: lake view, tables outdoor in the shade of umbrellas, perfect thin-crust pizza - special recommendation for those on a diet :)) the staff is very kind + for such a high level of the restaurant it is inexpensive, top! Nice staff and good location. The pizza was very good. Super thin and crispy. Good price as well starting at 8€ for the oval pizza.

I was expecting something worse since here is a chain brand. But the pizza was very tasteful and fresh. I loved it. Tomatos and the sauce was really fresh and tasteful. Tiramisu is very good. I had better tiramisus but this was still very good and light.

A plain pizza, just in oval shape - tasted good enough though. We were served by Denise, she was kind and helpful and constantly smiling :) The place itself is so nice - if seated outside, you have a view of the water and a beautiful fountain nearby. We were charged 4€ more on top of our pizza which we didn't really understand and noticed only afterwards... so just a heads up.

We waited a short while for a table to be cleared, which was completely understandable given there were only two incredibly busy servers. The brief wait was absolutely worth it, as the pizza we enjoyed was truly delicious. The restaurant's location is fantastic, by the lake and a pretty fountain, and we even got to soak up some sun while we ate. Being so close to the beautiful basilica added to the overall appeal. We'd happily go again!

Tasty pizza, interesting menu – I’d gladly come back for more. A nice touch was the option to add burrata to any pizza for an extra charge. Unfortunately, a downside was the service – not very friendly or helpful. I’m not sure why, perhaps due to the large number of guests and the staff constantly being rushed off their feet...

Terrible experience – ruined our evening We had a very unpleasant experience at Federico restaurant in Lecco, which completely ruined our evening. It was our first time visiting this city, and we just wanted to stop somewhere for a quick dinner and get something to eat for our 1.8-year-old daughter. Someone had recommended this restaurant, mentioning that their pizzas were large. When we arrived, we decided to order one pizza to share between the three of us (three women and a toddler) and some water, especially since we only had about 15 minutes before we needed to catch our train back to Milan. When the manager heard about our order, he reacted in a very rude and unprofessional way, raising his voice and saying that in his restaurant food cannot be shared – every person must order their own pizza. We were shocked by his tone and attitude. Feeling pressured, we decided to order the pizza as takeaway instead, but no one bothered to confirm our order with us or to apologize for the manager’s behavior. To make things worse, the staff spoke about us in a very disrespectful manner right in front of us, and we were basically forced to get up and leave the table. As for the pizza itself – it was nothing special. The dough was far too thin and really not worth the unpleasant experience. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant at all. The rude behavior of the manager and staff left us with a very negative impression of what was supposed to be a nice evening out.

The pizza itself is good, but unfortunately our experience was completely ruined by the manager’s rude attitude. We were 3 ladies with a 1-year-old baby visiting Lecco for the day. Since the pizzas are quite big and we had a train to catch, we asked for one pizza to share. Instead of simply explaining the restaurant’s policy (apparently it’s “one pizza per person”), the manager brusquely told us we could only take away, because he had other guests to serve (that probably would’ve ordered more than us). When we kindly spoke with another waitress, she said it was no problem to order just one pizza and eat quickly before leaving. But the manager came back again, speaking in the same dismissive and disrespectful way, insisting that we had to order 3 pizzas or leave the table. When our pizza arrived, they gave it in a box and rushed us to leave, even though we had a small child with us. We tried to explain that his behavior was unnecessary - a simple polite explanation of the policy would have been enough - but he continued to argue and insist he “decides here.” Lecco is a beautiful city and we had an amazing day, but this final experience was very disappointing. A good pizza does not make up for such poor customer service.
