Mariskeña is one of my top 5 restaurants in Leon guanajuato. They have really good seafood. (Hard to find) The waiter that attended me was very kind and helpful in my first visit. Cocktails are great. I ordered a carajillo and they made it in the table. I like this ! Thanks mariskeña for your exceptional service and delicious food. I'll come back soon.

I was a little dissapointed with their pasta Alfredo with schrimp. Pasta was hard and the sauce was very watery It tasted more like milk than alfredo sauce. My wife had Huachinango and was cooked very well, but was a little plain, without that kick that the fried fish always have. Service was great and the food was at table super fast. 13 minutes for a 600 gr fried fish is very good. Prices are decent, paid $950 mexican pesos (+-$50 us) for 2 people, including tip and tax.

Early dinner having special octopus w habanero sauce and shrimp cocktail which was good. Shared an entree of Molcajete of beef and shrimp which was also good. Service was okay. Not sure of the real specialty or how to categorize the restaurant. Not a seafood restaurant as the variety of shells and fish can improve {e.g. fish fillets are of tilapia}, not a steak house and not a Japanese nor sushi place.

I visited Sunday dinner, poor service, and fish cooking, bad waiter's service, slow and late. I didn't enjoy this dinner My fish was prepared with fried garlic, but was tangle with vinegar , from my salad, also my rice, wet and vinegary I got recommended this restaurant, that night for me, wasn't right, my bad time there

Food it's good, service have to improve, to long to get our food to the table, order a dessert taking way to long to have it. Get a shot of tequila and get salt mixed with rice that have to take out, order avocado never have it.
