Sat at the bar and was helped by Carlos. Easily one of the best restaurants I’ve had while down in south florida. Service was great, presentation 10/10. Had the duck, nigiri, and mahi mahi. Will be back when i visit !!

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, super fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The drinks were just as impressive, especially the cocktails (highly recommend trying at least one). Our server, Stefano, made the whole experience even better. He was incredibly attentive, kind, and just genuinely great to interact with. You can tell he cares and knows what he’s doing. Definitely one of the best dining experiences and will 100% be coming back.

Had an awesome first time experience here with my family. Came in from out of town and it was just a few minutes from our Airbnb and I’m so grateful we found it. The atmosphere is modern, airy and spacious with salsa classics as a backdrop. The food came out quickly and did not disappoint! I got the seafood rice and it’s honestly the best I’ve had eating out. All of my family members enjoyed their dish. And our server Alexandra was wonderful. Very friendly and attentive. Would definitely come again and highly recommend if you’re in the pompano beach area

The food was well seasoned and the flavors were delicious. The portions are a nice size and well presented. Favorite was the chicken fried rice. We also enjoyed the Lomo saltado with tacu tacu and the Mahi in the mushroom sauce. Our server, Alexandra, was friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere here is nice, we had a fish tank right at our booth. The menus have pictures for every dish and they are very high quality. The food is great and staff is friendly. It is a bit pricier than average but it is worth the money if you have it to spend.

We started with the Tacos de Cebiche, which were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. The Tiradito Mahi Mahi was light and perfectly balanced, and the Tapas de Pork Belly had just the right amount of crunch and richness. Everything was well-prepared and beautifully presented. Carlos also made some outstanding cocktails—each one was well-crafted and thoughtfully put together. It’s clear that he takes pride in what he does, and it really added to our experience. First time here and the food was soo good, the drinks are very unique and cool looking. The desserts are also very good. The acebichado rolls and the chilcano Misti were my favorites. Alexandra was very nice. 100%

We stumbled across Manta accidentally while we were on our way to another restaurant. The wide open doors and inviting bar made us circle back to try it out. We were easily able to find parking in the free lot outside on a weekday night. I had never had Peruvian food before and didn't know what to expect. I was certainly not disappointed. Everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was excellent. It was clean and nicely decorated and felt spacious even when mostly full. As another reviewer mentioned, the menu with pictures corresponding to numbered descriptions was so helpful and easy to navigate, and there were so many things that looked delicious. We chose two smaller dishes: one was the pork belly baguette, and the other was a sushi dish - both were delicious. My drink was also very good, fun and refreshing. We didn't sample dessert, but we did see several on the tables around us and the presentation was very appealing. Our server Alexandra was sweet and brought us a sample of the Pisco liquor to try since we had never had it and were unsure whether we would like it in our drinks. Spoiler alert, it was quite good. We can't wait to go back and sit at the gorgeous bar when it's warmer. A fantastic addition to the area!

Came to check out the place last Saturday and wow. Mind blown. From the environment the restaurant sets to the delectable cuisines cooked with great quality. The place is more than a restaurant it feels like you really are taken care of. To accompany all of these top of the line details, our server was the best. Stefano really made our night unique. His charismatic personality made the night all that much better, and with his set of recommendations for food and drinks we couldn’t be more satisfied! First time trying this new Peruvian place. The atmosphere and ambiance was fun with Miami vibes. The food was fresh and delicious. Our server, Yamil was friendly and attentive with great recommendations as he is actually from Peru. We tried a little bit of everything including the ceviche trifecto and traditional Pisco cocktail. This place is excellent! Plenty of parking, and a lovely atmosphere. The menu is fantastic… There are pictures of all of the dishes, so it’s easy to pick what you want. The ceviche was fantastic. I really enjoyed this restaurant! I was close proximity to our hotel in wynwood so we walked because the streets are so scenic. I feel privileged to have dined at this restaurant. Had a wonderful lunch at this new for me place, enjoyed the ceviche and calamari. The Tuna/Ice cream melt was a bit strange in texture for my personal taste. Everything else was good. Definitely on the pricey side however.

Came today for late lunch. Carolina made my experience very accommodating. I had the skirt steak with pasta. It was amazing. The place was super clean, the staff seems to be kind and attentive, its centrally located and the food was delicious. I will come back. I came in on a Saturday night to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday & what an amazing idea it was to come here !! Stefano was our server & he was very attentive our entire time there. Apart from the great service, the food…… ummmm AMAZING! We started with the Tuna Sushi (I forgot the exact name) but it was the sweet chili honey sauce and it was 10/10 the best sushi i’ve ever had. Then we had the ceviche clásico & the pasta with filet mignon and WOW, my compliments go right to the chef, what an amazing dish. We got the chocolate cake at the end for them to sing and it was the best cake ever !!!! Definitely the best place to come for date night or whatever occasion, food & service just awesome. Stefano was really sweet & will make your experience a lot better!!

The food and drinks are out of this world. Everything is so flavorful. We have been here twice now and have decided it is our spot. The place is super nice, very cool atmosphere. Elegant and modern. The plates look amazing. We ordered Fetuchinni a la Huancaina con Lomo Saltado, and Mahi Mahi a la Macho. Crazy good and with all the taste notes reminiscent of true Peruvian style food. Lomo with the fire taste. The Macho dish is my make it or break it test. …they score: 100%. Like in los huecos de Lima Miraflores barranco. I definitely recommend. 👍🏼

This is my new favorite restaurant. Everything was beyond delicious, including the beverages, which can be made without alcohol so everybody regardless of lifestyle can enjoy the menu! Our server Yomil was very kind and gave very amazing recommendations for both foods and drinks. The hostess and other employees also frequently checked on us to ensure we were satisfied and they truly love hearing that their restaurant is loved and appreciated. This is a go-to restaurant, and will now be a staple of mine.

This restaurant's specialty is peruvian seafood. However, i do not eat seafood, but comments from my family were good and they approved the seafood. I always order the Fettucine a la Huancaina con lomo saltado. It is so my favorite. On Sundays they have a Criollo Buffet for lunch. (Photos 1-4) Drinks are good and the service is great.

The food was so good—everything tasted super fresh and well-made. We also tried some of their chicha morada and it was really refreshing, perfect for the vibe. While we were there, we noticed they have an amazing brunch selection that we’re definitely coming back to try. Can’t wait to return!

Everything was great here! The Maracuya pisco sour was amazing , the camarones, pulpo , calamares were incredible and we also had the Trio de cebiches which were my favorite I’ve had so far! This may turn into one of our favorites when visiting the area. We started with the Pulpo Al Olivo; it's a ceviche-type dish of thinly sliced octopus bathing in a delicious, spicy sauce. It was so good that we soaked the toasties in it before adding the octopus on top. We've never had octopus this way before, but we will be having it again! For my meal, I ordered an appetizer (I don't eat a lot), the Pulpo, Camarones, and Calamares...octopus, shrimp, and calamari rings. My husband ordered the Chaufa Ponca, a bowl full of rice beef tenderloin, shrimp, calamari rings, pork belly, chicken breast, sweet plantains, and a fried egg (a Peruvian fried rice). We sat at the bar so Christian was our bartender and server and what a guy he turned out to be. I had told him we found the octopus appetizer to be so delicious and that we enjoyed the flavoring and spiciness. He brought us our meals and after we had some, he asked how we liked them. My husband immediately answered that they were good, but Christian looked at me and said, "Are you sure? I feel like you don't like yours." I said that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the meal and that I just didn't care for the flavoring of it. I asked him to not take it off our bill because we were taking it home and my husband would eat it because he liked it. Christian insisted I order something else. I tried to tell him I was okay because I don't eat a lot. He talked me into ordering some nigiri because it comes as 2 pieces only. So I ordered the salmon nigiri and I'm SO glad I did! The flavor on top of the salmon was a lemon explosion that was so good and he saw my loving expression. Of course, my husband had the 2nd piece and he agreed with my description. It was a salmon belly with lemon zest and white truffle oil. Christian truly went above and beyond and although our dining experience was good before he did that, he made it that much better! So thank you, Christian. We are definitely returning.

The new restaurant in The Shoppes at Beacon Light, in Lighthouse Point, across the parking lot from Sicilian Oven, is outstanding!!!!! Everything was absolutely delicious and the service and our server (Anna Maria) were excellent. Manta Peruvian Cuisine gets a 10 out of 10 in my book. Super fresh fish, killer ceviche, delicious original recipes and cocktails. Great happy hour menu! Can’t wait to go back!

Wow! We were on our way to a different restaurant and on the way I saw Manta- Peruvian restaurant. Happy I did a quick google search and saw the positive reviews!! We made a u-turn and had a ten out of 10 experience. Alexandra recommended the best dishes to try! I love, love the layout of the menu! It has pictures of the dishes so you can SEE what everything looks like!!

Great Peruvian food in Pompano Beach. Maybe even better than their Wynwood location. The acebichado makis, jalea, arroz con mariscos, fettuccine huancaina, and gnocchi pesto with octopus are all amazing. Try the lucuma or maracuya pisco sour. Alexandra took care of us and the service was great!

Everything was perfect, including the food, service, and menu. I had a typical pisco sour and cebiche a la brasa; if you enjoy cebiche, I heartily recommend it! As Peruvians living in Florida, we’re always on the hunt for authentic Peruvian food—and Manta absolutely delivered! This was hands down one of the best Peruvian meals we've had in the state. I ordered the gluten-free Lomo Saltado, and it was incredible. Not only was the flavor on point, but they were also very careful about avoiding cross-contamination, which I truly appreciated as someone with Celiac. My husband had Ocopa, which was delicious, and a combo plate with rocoto, pastel de papa, and chicharrones—he loved every bite! We ended our meal with queso helado for dessert, and it was the perfect finish—creamy, nostalgic, and so delicious. The service was excellent, too. Our server, Alexandra, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. It was so good that we're already planning to go back tomorrow. Highly recommend!

Wow, what a surprise. Blows away the other Peruvian restaurants I’ve eaten at(all three). The flavors were so balanced. I wish I lived near this place. Very nice interior ambiance…only thing from another star is it was a bit warm…for me. We had Clarita as a server and she was super attentive and helpful with the menu. Last second added the chocolate cake. So good. Subtle hint of a churro leche and was not overly sweet so the cocoa came out front. Again…eat here….often.

First, the menu has pictures and easy guide with numbers matching so you can see what you’d like to order before it even arriving at the table. Second, the atmosphere was great. Really calm, open kitchen, good decor. Third, Clarissa was lovely. She recommended dishes to try, and the recommendations were on point! Also, she was pretty attentive, always checking how we were doing. I have to say that it may seem pricey for some people, but the quality and quantity of the dishes makes it worth it every dollar. Overall, experiencing Manta is a must if you’re in the area.

From the second that you walk in, the environment is inviting. It feels very organic and all of the decorative details are perfectly selected for the atmosphere they're trying to promote. The star of the show was the food which was excellent. We did come for a happy hour and there was a nice variety both of food and of alcoholic beverage selections to choose from from 4:00 to 7:00 Monday through Friday. Our bartender, Carlos, was attentive, knowledgeable, prompt and great service all around.

ARROZ CON PATO A LA CHICLAYANA $52 Grilled Duck Magret w/ Cilantro Peruvian Creamy Rice, Corn, Red Peppers, Carrots, Green Peas and Fried Egg. *RAW DISHES SPICY DISHES The rice in this dish was very SALTY & the duck was very bland. I couldn't eat it.... The kids steak was dry & bland as well. The saute vegetables were mostly onions with bell peppers & maybe string beans. My husband had the short ribs and he devoured it...see pictures. The drinks were GREAT, we tried 2, 4, & 6. I could eat have 5 of the passion fruit mousse. 😋 To say it was delicious is an understatement! The Chirimoya was also good, but the passion fruit 😋 It was expensive, $300 for our meals, but I would definitely return for dessert and drinks.

Did you know Manta means Stingray in Spanish? I went to lunch to the newly opened Manta location in Lighthouse. First of all great food, great atmosphere, cute restaurant. My ONLY disappointment is I asked the waiter about their lunch special, She told me there were no lunch special when I clearly saw it online and after we ordered heard her say it to person passing by. I think that was a little dishonest. If you didn't know ask or follow up when I clearly saw you said to somone else. That was my only issue was that but GREAT food.

Our server Clarissa spent more time on her phone than providing excellent service the restaurant was not even busy. We were the only group there and we sat down and immediately saw two signs on the table about Happy Hour we asked her about it she said it’s only at the bar but yet we had two signs on our table that did say happy hour and nothing about the bar . We asked for a manager and was told there wasn’t one. We arrived at 4pm.

Went here for Valentine’s Day and we had made a reservation a couple weeks in advance but when we got there, they sat us at a table near the kitchen that just looks cluttered and not nice for a Valentine’s Day dinner and then most tables had flowers on them but the ones by the kitchen did not so atmosphere wasn’t great. On top of that, the service was pretty terrible. I didn’t get my first drink until almost 40 mins after we got there. Also, other people got complimentary bowl of something that we didn’t get

My wife and I made a reservation for valentines day. On arrival, they had to figure out where to seat us, ended up seating us right next to the kitchen which was not very tidy and every table in the restaurant had a rose in a vase except for the row next to the kitchen that they seated us at. This so far was a little unfortunate but we shrugged it off. Next, we waited 27 minutes for our pisco sours to arrive after ordering them which is absolutely ridiculous. The pisco sours were good. We got the lomo saltado and the fettuccini meal, the lomo saltado with beef tenderloin we ordered medium rare, it came out extremely purple and was so incredibly chewy. The fettucci meal tasted extremely good but it was served cold, probably sitting in the kitchen for a bit for some reason because it took a little over an hour to receive our food after ordering it.

We came to Manta in Pompano for the first time because we were familiar with the one in Miami, which we had really enjoyed. This time, however, our experience did not live up to our expectations. First of all, we came on Valentine’s Day — a day when they are obviously expecting a large crowd — yet the dish I wanted was no longer available, and neither was the dessert I had chosen! And this was for lunch. I ended up ordering the filet mignon with carbonara-style pasta. The meat was very good and high quality. The pasta lacked a bit of seasoning, but overall the dish was decent. However, for $34, you would expect something exceptional. My husband was very disappointed with his appetizer — scallops cooked in white wine. They were bland, and the sauce was very watery, almost as if the scallops had released too much liquid. For his main course, he ordered seafood rice. It wasn’t bad, but the flavor was nothing extraordinary. My daughter ordered mahi-mahi sushi, which she enjoyed. For dessert, avoid the chocolate cake — it was tasteless, not made with high-quality chocolate, topped with what tasted like bottled chocolate syrup, and had a spongy texture. For $13, you expect an excellent dessert. My daughter had an exotic fruit mousse, which she liked. The total for the three of us came to $187 for one appetizer, three main courses, two desserts, and three lemonades. The bill was extremely steep for a meal that was frankly just mediocre. The service was not up to par for such prices. My husband was still eating when the waitress asked if he wanted a box to take the rest home. At the end, my daughter asked if she could take the rose that was on the table since it was Valentine’s Day, and she was told no. Honestly, there was no commercial gesture whatsoever, even after we expressed our disappointment. A five-star Google rating is clearly not a guarantee of excellence. We are very disappointed, will not be returning, and will not recommend this restaurant to our friends and family.
