Staff welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door. Super friendly. Multiple staff members checked on me throughout my delicious meal. The steam buns felt and tasted like delicious pork pillows for my mouth. Dumplings were also tasty. The Ramen (had Cha-Siu Ramen) was amazing! I'm already excited to come back here and work my way down the menu. Thank you for being in Little Rock!
I recommend the curry ramen with black garlic oil and spicy oil on the side so you can control the fire. It's a nice, cozy space. It's the BEST ramen joint in the area, hands down. I also LOVE the veggie croquettes and fried tofu apps. I am not a takoyaki fan, but everyone I've been there with who loves takoyaki says it's phenomenal. When I had a bite, I definitely thought it would be delicious for someone who likes takoyaki.
This place is fantastic. Great ramen. Enough options without sending someone into analysis paralysis. I actually found it on accident just by typing in "ramen" and going to the fist place that popped up. The only reason I gave the atmosphere 4 stars is because they really should find a slightly bigger place. But maybe the smallness is what made the ramen taste so good.
Very good food. Small dinning space. I really enjoyed the food and how fast the food came and the servers working together as a team to make sure all customers need was meet and yeah. Over good place to eat lunch and great affordable prices.
I just had some of the best Ramen of my life! Spicy fried chicken tonkotsu with black garlic oil. The chicken was perfection. I’m mad I don’t live in Little Rock now. Will have to make this a regular stop.
I LOVE this ramen bar, it's so cozy! It can be a little loud depending on what time of day you visit, mostly due to it being a smaller space, but that's part of the appeal (being similar to many ramen bars in Japan) The ramen is delicious, and the appetizers are filling so be careful you have enough stomach for the actual ramen (that was my mistake lol) The portion of ramen is the perfect amount if you haven't stuffed yourself with takoyaki balls first 🤣
Just passing through town and stopped here for dinner. A fantastic spot! Great menu, awesome prices, fantastic service. The food was delicious, came out hot, fresh, flavorful and was everything was cooked perfectly. It was a small space and kind of dirty but wasn't bad. Definitely recommend!
My Husband and I have gone here throughout our 7 years of being together. From dating, marriage, and now having a sweet 9 mo old boy. The service is always fast and pleasant and the food has always been amazing. It warmed my heart how the staff welcomed my little one today with laughs, smiles, and a few spouts of peek a boo. Even a lil snack was brought to the table for him to eat. Thank you guys for the delicious food and amazing staff!
Second time here post comic-con with our boys. Second time I’m impressed! Great food and honestly I love the fact this traditional food restaurant has heavy metal playing over the speaker. Absolutely love this place and the ambiance and love the food! Had the pork steamed buns and dumplings for appetizers. Both were excellent. And the curry ramen bowl is both delicious and super filling! I’m a grown man with grown man appetite and I can’t even finish the bowl. Also tried the peach Korean “wine” which is very reminiscent of a peach flavored vodka that packs a punch! Don’t sip. Shoot it. The flavors blend best that way. Overall great experience! Chefs did amazing! Wait staff was great! Love this place!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great ramen spot!
I've eaten here 4 or 5 times now - absolutely amazing food each visit. Service is attentive, sitting at the bar is an AMAZING experience - get one of the middle seats so you have a full view of the chefs - maybe you'll get to watch them sear a tray of pork belly! This is now on our frequent rotation for dining out!
So…not many options for ramen in central AR. This place is definitely needed! Lots of stuff you won’t find elsewhere. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all roses but nothing that can’t be corrected. Pros; the food!! The steamed buns were sooo good. Fluffy, slightly sweet, amazing! The takiyaki was sooo good. Wonderful flavor, fried well and seasoned perfectly. The ramen itself was delish, hearty broth, and plentiful in ingredients. To start with cons; seating….simply needs more of it 😂. As busy as this place was, they really do need to expand the seating. I felt claustrophobic with how packed in everyone is. Service was very overwhelmed and chaotic. Things were overlooked such as drink refills and requests were not followed, such as on my order. I requested fried chicken and I received sautéed. However, they were friendly, just simply overwhelmed. All in all. The food was great and unique for the area. Seating needs improvement. Service while friendly, needs improvement too. For which I am deducting a star, hopefully, upon a repeat visit in the future. I will be able to bump up to the 5 I feel it deserves.
Fantastic ramen. I highly recommend the curry ramen with chicken and extra spice. It was a perfect spice level for me whose tolerance is upper mid level. My wife's tokontsu ramen with fried chicken was also great. Pork gyoza were crispy and tasty. The restaurant is small and loud but service is great and very fast.
First time at this location. I thought that the atmosphere was cozy, a little cramped but nice. Service was really good, fast. Get you in and out due to the size of the sitting area. Food, I like it. I think that it's a unique experience. The selection is not extensive but if you are into ramen noodles. This could be your spot. Because of the size of the eating area I rated it a 3-star but that does not mean that it's bad. It's just limited seating. You can make reservations, that way you can get a good table if sitting at the bar or right by the door isn't your vibe. We ordered Steamed Buns and Pork belly (soft, not crispy)for appetizers. And we ordered Shoyu Ramen with fried chicken. And Curry Ramen with grilled chicken. The price is good, it's a fair price. I would go back again.
Small place but a good visit! There is a reason this one has good reviews. Ended up here and was not dissapointed. Food was really good. Service was great. Smaller restaurant so it was congested which didnt bother us. Food came fast and was hot. Good sized portions. If this was local I would eat this a lot more!
Small place with great parking. The restaurant was clean, the staff friendly and quick. I wasn't wowed by it but it was good. Since this was my first ramen adventure, I am probably just not used to how and what you put in it, but I felt the flavors we're lacking. I wanted a little more green on and in my bowl/plate. I thought the food looked delicious and smelled delicious. I will be back to see if my opinion changes and I really hope it does.
My family and I are from out of town visiting my son. He took us to this place because he really liked it. We ordered a lot of food; my son had a separate order, and our family's order was over $80. We went back to my son's place to eat. I looked through my food before I ate, and I discovered a bug in my ramen, so I called them to let them know what we had Found. At first, they did not want to reimburse us. Then they said they would reimburse the one meal, which we thought was not right because after finding this I told everybody to stop eating their food and no one ate their food. Then they said they would talk to the owner, and the owner said that they would reimburse the whole meal, besides the beer, which I understand. They took our name and number down and said we would be reimbursed. This has not happened, and I'm highly disappointed. We wil not go back to this place again and if you do eat at this place, please search your food. Pics are posted
’m not sure if this was because we ordered carryout or for another reason, but our experience was very disappointing. We spent almost $50 and only ended up eating the dumplings. The rest of the food was not good and did not taste fresh. The eggs were grey in color and very rubbery. This review reflects our entire order. The only item that was decent was the fried chicken.
I went to Aji Ramen Bar tonight and ordered a ramen bowl, a chicken appetizer, and a glass of wine. They didn’t bring my wine until my food came out, and when I got home, I realized my appetizer was missing. I called back, and the person who answered immediately asked if I was the woman who left without her appetizer. I said yes, and she told me they could fix it, so I went back to pick it up. The appetizer—some type of chicken bites—was extremely salty and not good at all. Overall, I’m very displeased. This was my first time visiting, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a good experience. I probably won’t be returning.
