Had the pork fried rice, eggrolls and crab wonton. All were delicious!
Great service great food very busy so best to order ahead
Best Chinese food I've ever had in my entire life. SOO worth it!!!
The crispy hot beef is super good, quick and friendly looking forward to going back
My go to local carryout. I get the shrimp with garlic and ginger sauce every time and it's never been bad. The crab rangoons and fried wontons are good too.
I normally go up the street from Lin’s Garden to Tops China, but today i decided to stay in and order Lin’s Garden.. let me start by saying their customer service is amazing. The lady who delivered my food was SUPER nice.. the prices are perfect and the food is so good. You get a lot of food. The portions are huge.
Consistent, great food every time. This is a take-out place so don't expect a great dine-in experience. but it checks all the boxes for me personally.
My husband & I always order here & nowhere else, reason being their food is always fresh, the quantity of food is phenomenal as are the prices. The staff is always friendly & helpful. We are customers for life.
Just ordered dumplings and a large black pepper chicken with fried rice. It was delicious. It was cheap. It was Chinese food. 10/10 would go regularly if I was from the are!
Food is always quick and taste delicious. Generous portions as well
Good food, very reasonable prices. Always fresh and tasty! We love this place because it’s truly family owned and operated which is really cool!
Our dinner was very fresh an deliciously prepared! My compliments to the chef! We were so very pleased with our meal and will definitely dine there again ❤
I moved here about 2 years ago and this is the only Chinese place I will eat at. It beats culpeper, I love that I can order on the app and see the whole menu and also that they are so quick about making it. Unfortunately no delivery to my house but all in all I love it! Thank you for being there!
Love Lins!!! My food always comes piping hot and is so tasty!! The crab rangoons & spring rolls are great.
Perfect chinese. This food is the stuff made of dreams. Fast delivery and fresh. So good, I opened the box to my shrimp fried rice and about crapped myself at the heavenly sight of yellow rice. Not gray or white, but yellow like the color of corn that has been out in the sun too long. And even better are the crab ragoons. Melt in your mouth. My grandma despises fish, she used to tell me that seabugs were the devil. Glad I didn't listen.
This place serves absolutely appetizing food!! Would definitely reccommend the Seafood Combination, Shrimp with Three Flavoured and the Pu Pu Platter! Amazing service here 10/10
Best chinese food in the area. My go to is the Hunan Chicken. I also recommend the lo mein, sweet and sour chicken and General Tso chicken. Been going here for years and the quality and service is still excellent just as it always has been.
Good Asian dishes, consistent quality, fair prices and decent portions. With only very few restaurants in the area, we choose Lin’s Garden every time for delivery and takeout.
Ordered for a company event. The food was fantastic and plentiful. We had trays of various food, which I didn't even know was possible. Great experience
We have never had a complaint with quality or quantity of food. Delivery is pretty quick and drivers are friendly and polite.
Love this place i order here weekly the food is amazing the customer service is amazing as well great tasting food low prices and very worth the money I been ordering from here now for 3 years
I order from here so often it’s crazy. Great food, great delivery, great service. You won’t be disappointed.
I inadvertently made an online order at Lin's while I was out of town. I realized my error some time after I made the order. I call Lin's to advise them of my error and suggested that they could just donate my food to some walk in customer. I felt that they should not incur a loss due to my mistake. They refused, and fully refunded my cost. What GREAT customer service!
The food was plentiful and the restaurant was clean. Our server was a bit annoyed and we could see it (I suppose everyone can have an off day). Other than that I would recommend them.
Super delicious! They had the best crab rangoon we've had in at least 4 years. All the food was hot and fresh and ready in 20 minutes exact. The eggroll was super good and for once I was able to bite into one and not have grease run down my chin. So glad we decided to finally try this place!
Food is good and consistent. 5 stars because they forgot one item but when I called but they were extremely apologetic and offered to make it immediately or refund it. I didn't have to argue or debate with them. They admitted they messed up and immediately made it right.
Lin’s Garden always has a topnotch food. I especially love the Hunan Chicken and the Kung Pao Chicken. My son loves the General Tso’s Chicken. You will want to take out your food, as the restaurant itself is basically just a waiting room for picking up food.
This is my favorite place to get Chinese food. The pan fried dumplings are amazing, and all their chicken is delicious. The staff don’t speak a ton of English but it’s never been a problem for me ❤️
Very good Chinese food in Locust Grove- she is so nice <3
Great hot food every time we order!!!!
Family owned and operated business with wonderful food! I have a severe allergy to MSG, and I’ve never had an issue here (I always mention the allergy when placing my order). Vegetables are extremely fresh, prices are very reasonable and food is always great. We love eating here!
Best spot in the area!!! Awesome customer service!!! They been around for a long time and consistently top notch!!
I’ve been a longtime customer at Lin’s Garden and have always enjoyed their food, especially the lunch special with the four piece chicken wings and combination fried rice. About three weeks ago, I ordered it and the fried rice was undercooked. The rice was crunchy and not fully done. I called and let the owner know because I truly like supporting local businesses and wanted to give them a chance to correct it. Unfortunately, I went back today and experienced the same issue again. The fried rice was still undercooked and not prepared properly. It’s disappointing because the quality used to be consistently good. Just sharing my experience so others are aware. I really hope they address this because it has definitely changed.
The food is always amazing and hot! Had food delivered and it came early and steaming hot, driver paid attention to my delivery request ( THANK YOu!!) 10/10 recommend!!! Singapore noodles are my favorite!
Our go to take out Chinese food place. We love it. Always good!!
The food is delicious , Mrs Lin was very nice and helpful. She made my kids happy with her kidness. Definitely coming back!
Great take out Chinese restaurant Food was fresh and hot. And a great portion Orange chicken was delicious
After moving here out of state the Chinese food was horrible almost anywhere I went. Lins is the best in the area. The food has consistently been hot and tasty. Lomein is always delicious. Great portions and fast. The people working are also super friendly and nice. No longer feel like I am missing out since this is my go to for Chinese now! Don’t sleep on this place.
We go there every time we visit my parents in "low". Good Chinese food
Food is good. A little slow but quality makes up for it. Ok prices. Could better. But very good and worth it.
We take out there frequently. Portions are good, usually makes 2 meals. Food is tasty.
It's easy to miss of the road, but the food is great. I'm a huge fan of Chinese food and if Mom and Pop shops. And they have both
They always remember our order and I've never had any issues with the food here! Highly recommend.
For a Chinese carry-out joint, this place has great food,. Definitely one of the best Asian restaurants in the Culpeper/Orange/Spotsylvania area.
Was a little expensive.. food was pretty good. Friendly service.. they deliver... lol
Consistently good food. Better than the other nearest location on RT. 20
First time eating there and it was delicious, I would eat there again. Thank you
Saturday, 1pm - lunch for the family. Excellent service and delicious food. We asked for contactless delivery and they did a wonderful job, and make sure we got our food before they left. I admit I haven’t been impressed with the food every time (once before, it was disappointing) but today was another reminder of why they are our go-to place for Chinese Food delivery.
Very good Chinese delivered at a reasonable price is what we enjoy with this place. They seem to have improved recently. Even though portions can be modest, the food itself is delicious!
Really good food for a decent price. I also love that you can order online. This is definitely one of the best Chinese places in the area.
Delivered within timeframe given, food was hot, plentiful portions, and good quality. The delivery driver was also very nice (even called me to tell me food was here since we have a do not knock/ring sign on the door due to working night shift)
We order occasionally, trying different dishes and our favorites too. Flavor is mild and delicious ( usually ). Delivery is great and pick-up is a view at hard working individuals. We always have leftovers and even the rice is good.Szechuan is powerful.
I really love their crab Rangoons here!! Unfortunately I wasn’t a huge fan of their sesame chicken or fried rice. I was expecting brown or white rice, not yellow rice. Seemed really off tasting compared to what I grew up with in NJ. But again, crab Rangoons 10/10 and I go back all the time for them.
This is a really good Chinese spot. Lin’s garden is always my go to whenever I order Chinese. The employees are nice and the food is consistent and good.
Este es un restaurante chino excelente. Lin's Garden es siempre mi primera opción cuando pido comida china. Los empleados son amables y la comida siempre está buena.
Lins Garden has some tasty food at reasonable prices. I particularly liked their shrimp egg foo yung and shrimp egg rolls.
I've tried to like this place, and sometimes it's good. Not great, but good. But when it's not it's bad. Got the Honey Chicken which I've never had a problem with before. When I opened it smelled overwhelmingly like ketchup? Chicken was sitting in a pool of water at the bottom of the bowl and it just had a not quite right flavor for what it's supposed to be. Ended up throwing it out after 2 bites. LoMein and rice were edible though.
I waited 2 hours when I was told it would take 50 minutes but when the food did get here it was very good and the delivery man said that they we’re trying to get it to us as fast as they could
If you want fried rice with your entree you have to make sure to add it. Only included with numbered lunch specials.
A perfect example of "meh" food. PuPu Platter was okay, but not anything I couldn't have gotten frozen at Food Lion and heated up. Hot and sour soup was adequate, but not great. Mandarin dumplings were a disgusting salt lick. The Szechuan shrimp appeared to be tiny frozen shrimp with frozen peas and carrots and a sweet sauce, not the nice zing of a Szechuan shrimp from a real Chinese restaurant. The Szechuan green beans were okay, but no spice at all. The only thing that wasn't awful was the rice. It was steamed. I'm giving a 3-star because they deliver. Won't be calling them again.
We wanted to change things up from our regular Chinese restaurant and unfortunately, we were let down. We got probably 8 items and only REALLY liked one of them. The chicken here is really good and taste fresh but it just lacked a Chinese food feel....
The special soup was awful, with tasteless meat tough shrimp large pieces of tough onions. No flavor very unappetizing.
We ordered four meals from Lin's Garden for delivery. Each mean included wonton soup. When the food was delivered, the soup was missing. I called the restaurant to ask about it and the woman who answered the phone said she would "check it out". She did not call back and the soup was not delivered. I tried to call again about 40 minutes after the fact but now I can't get through- just getting a "busy" message from Verizon. Update- soup did finally get delivered. Wound up being 1hr+ after the meal.
We ordered the beef with snow peas and white rice. While the order was hot, plentiful, and quickly prepared, we are not sure what kind of 'beef' the establishment used in the dish. On the whole, we rate this establishment as a run-of-the-mill Chinese take-out place, and we would not go out our way to patronize it again.
They can def do better.
I decided to treat my mother in law and 4 others to Chinese and I regret wasting my money. It took two hours to get here ( I was asleep when they did) and when I wake up I get to here how cold all of it was and how stingy and small the shrimp was. I'm only giving two stars instead of one because they did give me a $15 credit for the next time I go there ( I doubt I will) I would of rft better review if they would of sent my whole order fresh instead
Was very busy. However, the food only tasted like salt to my family and I. The textures were way too chewy and gummy. We ended up having to throw it all out. Only giving 2 stars because ordering was very easy.
Honestly, the food is the among lowest quality I've had, the chicken had strange dry stringy areas that were unchewable and all the sauces of the 3 differing entrees we tried were nearly flavorless. The egg rolls and spring rolls were also low quality and flavorless with hardly any filling. However, as far as service goes, ordering was easy, and the food was done quickly and it was all served hot. I would keep coming if they change food suppliers.
It’s nothing crazy. The Food has no love, doesn’t taste authentic. Ingredients okay, just very subpar execution of the dishes.
The worst food in my life. Don't waste your time and money. Spoiled ingredients, food covered with tasteless slime. Very limited seating.
5 years ordered food here, tip well, BUT prices jumped, now they put a $3.00 delivery fee on orders. Used to be a reasonable place..watch out no more.
I liked this place until a cook told me that if a customer returned a meal even though he had tasted it, they would sell it to another customer in time of the virus, that is not healthy ... there is a lot of labor exploitation in this place, I hope some employee will dare to denounce one day
An hour late with a delivery, didn't deliver, no apology and rude when I called in. Food's not good enough to justify the hassle.
Orders chicken dumplings and the filling was dough, no chicken.
Bad service, they dont make a difference of lo mein and chow mein, after they get very mad even tho we apologized for the miss understanding, never coming back!
I will never eat at this place again. The food was below sub-par! Will someone pls. tell me when General Tso's chicken became sweet and sugary???!!! The pork fried rice was TOTALLY flavorless; the fried shrimp was so over-pankoed that it actually hurt to try to eat one; and the Schezuan dumplings tasted as if they had been marinating in dirty dish water. $31 + dollars down the drain. My home cooked Chinese food ACTUALLY tastes better!!! No authenticity with regard to anything we ate from "Lin's Garden."
I've been ordering from here for years and it was my favorite Chinese place and still ordered from them after moving away because I liked them so much.but recently they have been taking over a hour to deliver and the food and it usually no longer hot. The food was awful the past 3 times I've ordered and did not taste like ot used to . Sadly I don't think I'll be ordering from them again.
Ordered fried rice, which turned out to not be fried rice at all. The rice and chicken lo mein lacked flavor. Had hopes based on high rating but will likely never order from here again.
I feel scammed. Anyone who likes this place does not have good taste buds. This is probably the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Very bland, overcooked, and straight up very syrupy.
Very disappointed in how we were treated. Deceived about order time and then told we were never charged. Had to show bank information on phone and manager took my phone and still argued. Finally got the order voided and now we wait for our money back.
I didn’t think you could ruin Chinese food but apparently I was wrong the food tastes like some country white person won the lottery took one Chinese food cooking lesson and opened a Chinese restaurant and failed miserably. The chef in my opinion is a criminal who deserves the chair cause I haven’t eaten Chinese food since I ate here disgusting.
I ordered from here 6 years ago and the order was wrong not to mention the food sucked. Thought I would try one more time and same this time wrong food and the general Tso shrimp was like eating rubber.
We used to like your food a lot. Anymore though we've been very disappointed. We ordered General Tso and had to throw it away. It was tasteless and hard to chew (overcooked). We also had the chicken egg fu yung and found it to be very bland. Not enjoyable at all. We won't be ordering from you again. Delivery was prompt, hence the one star.
Worst Chinese food we’ve ever had, we were under the assumption that all Chinese food is good..this place proved us wrong. Took over an hour to deliver with no apology. Food was gelatinous, stuck together and cold. Sesame Chicken was off color and not edible. We asked for a refund, and instead of attempting to redeem themselves...they actually came back and picked up the food and would not give a full refund due to some being missing...I could not repack it like they had it since it has been dished out to a family of 5. What a disappointment, especially when you order out to get a break from cooking and this happens!!
Worst online order experience ever! We have ordered from Lin’s often and had enjoyed the experience and food. On 12/2/2018 we ordered at 5:00pm and received the confirmation email with a delivery time of 5:46pm. Called and talked to the restaurant at 6:00pm and was told that our food had left the store a while ago and should be delivered within the next 5 to 10 minutes. 15 minuets went by and no delivery. On the second call, we were told that our food hadn’t even been made yet. Not sure if we will use this restaurant in the future.
Kung Pao Chicken was the worst I've ever had. I've had Kung Pao in a 100 different Chinese places and this was just awful. They just throw peanuts on top of something with no chicken.
Absolutely terrible. We ordered delivery on a Monday night at 5:00 pm. An hour passes and no word from them. So we call. They haven't even left the store. They say they're on their way. Another 50 minutes pass! Almost 2 hours of wait time, which is unacceptable. The we get our food. It's cold, disgusting, the portions are small, and it doesn't even taste like Chinese food. I couldn't even eat my "Szechuan shrimp," which was more like soup. They didn't even know what a spring roll was for God's sake. They gave us egg rolls instead of spring rolls. There's no way we could have mixed that up either because we ordered online. This went beyond just a bad food experience. This was a ruin your whole evening kind of experience. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.
Practically no chicken in my Kung Pao Chicken. It was mostly fried bread disguised as chicken. It was not spicy at all like Kung Pao should be. Our Chrispy Hot Beef was also suppose to be spicy but was actually sweet. The asians running this place need to do a better job of teaching their latino cooks how to make good Chinese food. Will not be back.
