I had the Tradizione tasting menu and everything was delicious. The pasta was super tasty, the fish was really fresh, and each dish looked beautiful too. You can tell they really care about what they serve. The wine was also great and matched the food perfectly. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the place has a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Big bonus: it’s dog friendly! If you're in Bergamo, definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food at reasonable pricing! The Interieur is tasteful, service quite nice and after asking, helpful. I mistook natural wine for bio- Wine and , after asking was informed about my probable mistake. Thanks for that. Proposed wine was excellent. Nice place!

We were very happy with our visit at the Osteria al Gigianca. A very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great and interesting food and a realy nice wine selection with mostly natural wines. Defenitely a place to come back to.

We tried the longest tasting menu for the early lunch. We loved the pumpkin starter, mushroom risotto, ricotta mousse and orange wine underlined with amazing energy of lady waitress. (They really chose a right person) . We started eating on our own in the whole space but shortly it was a full house. Sometimes we had a feeling that the potential of some meals wasn’t really squeezed to 100% but the beautiful decor and vibes of this non really touristy place made our day unique. Next time we would go for dinner instead of lunch 😊

Best restaurant we ate at in Bergamo. The food, the service and the atmosphere were all fantastic. Especially enjoyed the pumpkin starter. The risotto was also really good, as was the ricotta dessert. Fantastic wine list as well, and the pairing recommendations we got were spot on. Definitely worth visiting when staying in Bergamo!

We really enjoined our meals here. The atmosphere was amazing and the service exquisite. I've had one of the best desserts - bread butter and milk. I also loved the mutton and chicken, but all the dishes were amazing.

Went for a family dinner. Service and food was really good. I particularly liked the risotto with porcini. The desserts were absolutely fantastic. The place is a bit off from the center but it’s worth it going there.

After reading some good recommendations of this place, we went for lunch a Saturday afternoon. There were plenty of space when we arrived. We received a warm welcome from the waiter, who spoke good English language. We both had the beef tatar and the famous pasta dish from the region Casoncelli. Both dishes were served quickly and were both wonderful. All in all a very good experience and we can really recommend the place.

I love the restaurant, it's a small place but they're very accommodating. We booked for 8 but for some reason we became 10, yet they were able to make us happy. I really appreciate their gesture. Hopefully to visit again with my bf. The food was really nice and much more fair with the price.

Conveniently located if you come from the airport and are after a meal with a good sample of local specialties. We tried a number of dishes and everything was surely above expectations. The ones in the pictures are sheep meatballs with broccoli and aioli, and rabbit with polenta, both fantastic. The wine list is also very good. This is somewhat more refined than the average restaurant, with above the ordinary food quality, yet the atmosphere is still relaxed and easy. Definitely recommended.

We spent a good evening at the Gigianca. The owners were very nice and spent a considerable time explaining their creations and food philosophy. Some if the dishes were really nice, but the beef for the tagliata was hard, so thats one star less. They made special dishes for the kids, which was really nice! All in all worth a visit!

The location in Bergamo is average, but the interior is carefully chosen. We visited the restaurant as a family of six. The Italian cuisine is local, very tasteful and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the traditional menu (5-courses with the restaurant signature dish - pasta). The service is very friendly and helpful. The pice is little above average, but justified by the quality & creativity of the dishes we had. We will visit the place in Bergamo again.
