Waiter recommended having the lobster pasta and the ribeye. He couldn’t have given better advice. The ribeye had a herb butter that was phenomenal. Food came out fast and servers were friendly and helpful. Will be back.

I recently had lunch at Five Ocean after an afternoon boardwalk stroll with friends. Their current Summer 2024 menu is refreshing with a Mediterranean twist (get the feta dip-you will not be disappointed!). Amy was our fabulous server who had excellent recommendations. Looking forward to coming back for the watermelon basil marg and lobster nachos!

My wife and I have been coming to this absolute gem of a restaurant for over three years now. It’s about time I sang the praises of the incredible food and awesome beach vibe! Order the creamy burrata with strawberry compote and you’ll have the perfect starter for the signature buttermilk fried chicken. You will never have crunchier, more tender, more flavorful fried chicken, anywhere. My wife ordered the Maine scallops last night, and the presentation was as gorgeous as the scallops were delicious. Every dish on the menu is a home run, served up by a pleasant young staff that is eager to please. Pro tip: request an outdoor table for a view of the sand dunes and the western end of the Long Beach boardwalk. Five Ocean is Craig Attwood’s crowning achievement in casual Long Island dining. Highly recommended!

I have nothing but positive to say! The service at this restaurant is amazing. The food is delicious and all tastes fresh. I had the local fish, and the taste of the meal was outstanding. The presentation was like a meal for my eye. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, being so close to the water everything was beautiful. I would definitely recommend going for dinner.

New to the area, great restaurant if you do not take advantage of the outstanding food and suggestions by the staff. Brought my brother out here and nothing less than 100 stars. Huge shout out to Joey and Taki working late on a Saturday with nothing but a smile on their faces. Personable, professional, knowledgeable and patient with you. Worth a trip without a doubt everyday new foods. serious compliments to the owner, right by and chef unbelievable food and specials. Great night out!

Super friendly and accommodating. Really great service. We had Colin and he was top notch. I wanted to add a protein in my salad and they suggested seared tuna. It was seasons very nicely. The dressing on the salad was a little salty, but overall very good.

Food is very good ! very happy with the Burrata, mushroom-pasta and the fish of the day. Wine list is decent as well. Recommend maybe to update the decoration of the place. We will be back soon

The casual beachside vibe is deceiving because the food is anything but casual. Impeccably fresh seafood, sophisticated flavors, and exacting plating are what Five Ocean delivers. Add a fully-stocked bar and friendly and accommodating service and you have a beachside celebration. Our party of five had the heirloom beet salad, lentil squash soup, linguine with briny-fresh clams, buttermilk fried chicken, and crispy chicken wings. While all of it was satisfying, the soup was a standout - not run of the mill chunky lentil but a creamy and flavorful reduction much as you’d get in a french bistro. Plus truffle fries, a necessary indulgence. We returned on another evening and enjoyed the crispy shrimp appetizer, shrimp orriechiette, perfectly seared ahi, a thick angus burger, and doubled-down on the fried chicken. Great wine pairings to boot. Unfortunately our photos are sad because we neglected to take them before we devoured our orders. We highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

As a local, Five Ocean is my go-to for showing off Long Beach to friends and family. The setting and staff are awesome, there’s no where else in town you can dine on the beach; and the food is exceptional. I’ve never had a bad meal there, actually I’ve had some of my best, and there’s always something new, seasonal and amazing to try. 🤤

A delightful gem at the West end of the Boardwalk complete w Appetizers, Entrees and drinks. Cozy and casual with indoor and outdoor seating and views. I thought I was getting a simple fried calamari dish and was delighted for it to be presented with salad and a tasty dipping sauce. The staff was friendly and everything was beautiful.

The owner comes to question me?? This is a first time! I went there two weeks ago. And my girlfriend make the payment. Please see the figure for dish. Here is the comments: The food there is just okay. The dish impressed me the most is the a dish with shrimp which has an interesting flavor (see the figure). They have a passionate waiter who is very considerate. The atmosphere there is great too.

Right on the beach at the beginning of the 2.2 mile boardwalk this is a pleasant refreshment spot that has a full bar and five rotating taps. I would assign three dollar signs based on the tacos and beer but we had. Staff was friendly and Location was excellent. Though my partner had some qualms with the cleanliness and locking mechanism in the bathroom it is still very much a four star experience

Another great long beach place, but you can sit on the water and not have to be in the hotel, like a real beach place Food great service, so many people who are cool and helpful Great vibe. Plus the food is beautiful looking suprise at a beach place how they get the details right on the money And yes the chef is a chef, not a cook for a place the could easy be a tourist trap its so much more

Beautiful location and a very friendly owner who took care of a few mishaps. Mushroom quesadillas were crispy and delicious. Our server seemed very new and incorrectly placed our orders and the owner gave us a round of drinks on him. Fish tacos were overloaded with slaw/beets and were dripping and the fish was average. Lobster tacos were fresh and well balanced. Over indulgence of sour cream in the tuna guacamole we didn't order and tuna was not my favorite. Great local beer on tap and nice jalapeños margaritas. A little extra server training will make a big difference but the ocean air was delightful.
