I love this place. We have been going there for years for the burgers not to mention the delicious Gyros and Grilled Cheese sandwiches. We also like that we can order breakfast anytime of day. GS has the BEST buttermilk pancakes. Recently, I tried their soup and was blown away by how good it was! Can't wail to try more 'soups of the day".

I'd been to there for breakfast once before. It was very good. But when I went to lunch, it was very very good! I had their special "The Mamba Burger", and it was to die for! To begin with, I do not eat burgers often maybe once a year but this was GREAT! There's mushrooms in so much that for each bite, I had 2+ mushrooms with it. The hamburger meat was moist as was the bun. I ate it all! That g first time I ever did that in my life! Great job to the cook and the customer was awesome!

I used to have late-night dinners here 20 years ago. The food is still delicious and the service is amazing. I had a Chilli cheeseburger it wasn't the best chili cheeseburger, I rate it 3.5 out of 5. Our server Lia was wonderful she took our order and brought it to us. The restaurant is a dinner-style restaurant, it has a great atmosphere. Very cozy and inviting. Plenty of parking.

Best bang for your buck, and you can't lose with what you pick. Staff are very friendly. The cook puts it down in the kitchen, and the food can't be beat like the price. Plus the fact that they are 24 hours except Sunday, makes getting food a breeze on late nights.

Came in for an order of fries at 9:52 PM I love their fries, especially with the seasoning. I know, it's like other place but it's better here. Only three sit downs, me, and a couple with a to go order were here. I came in for fries. It's now 1008. I approached the counter had to ask. Not happy, but got my fries.

This place rocks! Opened 24 hours a day and serve fresh food. My usual is the Bradley burger, which comes topped with an egg on top. One really needs to have a big appetite to eat it all. Their onion rings are by far some of the best, dipped in their homemade ranch dressing, it makes for an amazing combination. Definitely deserves a 5 stars in my book.

The owners are very nice and friendly people the burgers are always amazing and the staff always keep everything clean and the food moving out quickly. I will say next time I go ill ask to make sure my fries are cooked crispy as there were a bit undercooked but other than that this place is great. Plenty of space for truckers to grab a bite to eat. So far I have not had a bad experience. I think that the prices are reasonable all things considered, very large portions I can never finish without hurting myself. I wish I took a picture of the chili cheese burger I ordered today. The chili is very tasty and I would highly recommend it.This place is amazing, they let you customize everything.

I'm glad they have a 24 hour drive thru! The coffee was more like coffee flavored water... could hardly taste the coffee. They have a very large menu but are a little expensive. The drive thru can take a while because they make the food when you order it. If you're in the area there's not many choices of places to eat and this is the easiest to get food on the go!

This charbroiled burger place is one that's easy to miss despite it being on a main Street but the food inside is anything but. The Burgers are always so juicy and I give them props for the sauces on the burgers whatever it is, Don't ask for extra fries or you'll probably die trust me, this place is amazing if you want a good meal that will fill you up before you leave. The food here is great I haven't been here in like 11 or so years a service was excellent the only thing why I put three atmosphere cuz it was weird we didn't get any ketchup we didn't get any Peppers salt and I think my daughter had to pay for some Caesar salad dressing something or other but she didn't look very happy after she came back from the counter that's why I gave it a three atmosphere but otherwise I'm at the food is great the service was excellent and that's it

Excellent French toast and the coffee is pretty good. Can't beat the price point for the amount of food. It's a nice treat for the weekends.

I will give this place a four star rating because I grew up with this place as young kid. Overall rating is due to the amazing onion rings it delivers. Been to so many burger joints and hadn't had such luck with finding onion rings as good as this place, I remember the order fried zucchinis are great and outstanding as onion rings.

WISH I could say the same for their Chili Cheese Burger & Fries w/small Root Beer....disappointing (putting it nicrly). "Whaaat...???" That's right! Disappointed as we could have gone to Del Taco for a Delicious Chili Cheese Burger & Fries w/Large Root Beer for less than $25.00...!!!! Golden Star's hamburger was nothing more than a poorly assembled burger cooked in a rush w/what tasted like a cheap cam of chili from the grocery store barely warmed-up! Fries were nothing special, either. And the small Root Beer? eh! Needless to say, my friend and I, will NOT be eating here very often, and when we do...BREAKFAST ONLY!

This place was really good at one point. I was going a few times a week, but now i avoid going because my last three visits the fries were undercooked or just cold. Who has time to go back after discovering your fries are cold while you're already gone.

If you need food and want a variety of ways to feel adequate about your meal, this is the place to go. Mediocre is a very apt description of everything. The prices are kinda meh, attitude is standoffish, lack of free refills is disappointing, the food is able to satiate hunger and not much more, etc... but there was an expansive selection of foods, all of which can equally disappoint.

I GAVE THEM THREE STAR'S BECAUSE YES THE BREAKFAST BURRITO WERE DELICIOUS. The food is not great, but not terrible either. The chili they serve on their fries needs some improvement, if I'm being nice about it. The dining area looks nice, and the bathroom doesn't look like the battle of Ramadi took place in there, so there's that.

Had a Grilled Chix Salad and... did not enjoy. Chix was very very dry and super thin. The rest of my order was not accurate. Saw this happen to other 2 customers. I felt exasperation/annoyance from (not 1 but from 3 different) employees when I asked for salt, plastic bag, napkins ... Definitely a trucker stop (for hungry in a hurry customers) not regular patrons in my opinion.

I'm a regular customer at least 4 time month, but this night a small Mexican waitress Would serve me but served all mexicans in the resturant and made me come get my food from the counter. Now they give numbers for the food to be served at the table, and i sat in the table closest to the counter and still no service. This was on August 26, 2025 at 12:00 pm and its an isolated incident, I've never seen this waitress before. The wait staff is usually cool.

MyLove 💖 and I went here so he could study for his test. I ordered a Double BCB Deal meal. It came with a double bacon cheese burger, large coke and I substituted the french fries with a chili cheese french fries. I came here two months ago and bought the same thing, hoping for better results but still the same. Chili cheese french fries still has no flavor but I do recommend the BCB burger with a cup of thousand island dressing on the side. Yes, that’s going to cost you a dollar for each small sides of dressing 😒 The staffs attitude not great. All depending on who rings you up, if you’re partying with card, prepare yourself to show your ID. Yes, even though you know your pin number, s/he will still card you 🤦‍♀️ There’s plenty of parking, the waiting is ok and so is the area. To those who read my post, this is from my perspective.

This place was a favorite for me and my family. Recently the quality of the food has changed especially the golden California burger. The chicken is thinner and not as good as they once were. Tried it a couple of times more and it’s not the same. If your food isn’t better or close to mine then I’ll stick to mine and I’ll save my money 💴 P.S If your cutting costs Charge more but don’t cheat me on the meal

burger is decent nice char chili taste like pure tomato sauce and they don't let u get a refill on soda even if u offer to pay Def recommend just going down the street to toms they let u have 1 free refill and their chili doesn't taste like spaghetti sauce with fries and cheese other then that if u wanna try other things maybe give this place a try!

Came to eat in to change it up and sit inside and biggest mistake ever. It was hotter inside than outside. The thermostat said it was 87 degrees and workers claimed they had no control over AC and management not available. I tried opening doors to get air flow and worker quickly closed them. I mean if you don’t want no one inside just closed it down again like covid times. My older parents and baby were so uncomfortable. When I opened doors the other guest thanked me but lasted only minutes since they closed them right away.

Other than a select few of the employees (whom are wonderful) the rest have ZERO customer service skills or people skills for that matter. The customer is made to feel like they are a unwanted burden especially at night. You hardly ever get charged the same price twice for ordering the same thing from day to day. There is no shakes after 11 even though they are "open" 24 hrs. The food quality and quantity both parallel each other on a steep downward decline. And the bathroom is just nasty.

I eat here occasionally for lunch and it's always been great. Went for breakfast the other day and the French Toast was awesome! This morning I was craving the French Toast, so during my break at work, I visited the restaurant again only to be REALLY disappointed. I waited almost 25 min (most of my break) and when I finally got my order, I only 1 piece of toast cut in half, and the side of Hash Browns that I ordered crispy were barely even brown! I didn't want to wait another 20 min, and other people were asking for their order. I understand the person at the counter was busy, but she was also rude. So much for my French Toast craving and my break!

I asked for extra dressing on my burger and it came out super dry. I asked for thousand...$1.00 for a side lol. Ranch...$1.00 for a side. The fries were overcooked and with ZERO season salt. NO FLAVOR WHATSOEVER. They DO NOT give free refills and they don't even charge a discounted price for a refill you have to buy ANOTHER WHOLE SODA FULL PRICE. The owner was abrupt and kind of rude. All the Greek burger places I go to are friendly and way different than this. I understand food costs are high but that doesn't mean destroy the customer on the register either. NEVER COMING BACK !!!

This place has gone down hill. The food used to be really good and affordable, now it's overpriced, and the quality is disturbing. I ordered a carne asada burrito and got rice and beans with tiny burnt crumbs of what I think used to be carne asada. Will not be going back here again until something changes.

I spent 18.00 for the worst breakfast I've ever been served the links were cold so we're the scrambled eggs....wouldn't even melt the cheese the only thing hot was the coffee.....it was 6:30 am less than five people in the restaurant.....never again!

Came here around midnight after work. First thing that cought my attention was mostly every other table was dirty with trays and trash. I didn't want to make it obvious but was able to count at least 11 or so dirty tables, I actually paused and was thinking about turning around and leaving due to that. I cant imagine what the back where the food is keeped looks like. Above average pricing, my cheeseburger was pretty good. Tip to owner please give a surprise checkup to your restaurant at anonymous times this is your money going down the drain here. I will not be returning cleanliness is #1 to me.

So disappointing, Explain my order 3 times and they still got it wrong. I sent it back, by the time I got it back everything was cold n the omelet was overcooked. Menu said cheddar and Swift cheese But they only had Swiss. I go here quite often and I'm usually satisfied but tonight was a different story. I called in my order from San Pedro and was told drive thru only in very bad broken english I asked why but couldn't understand the woman because she didn't speak English. I get to the drive thru about 10 mins later and to the window 5 minutes later, girl that is at the window speaks English and says she has no such order because woman on phone forgot to put it in...great. So now I have to wait for order to be cooked and notice a guy exit the side door with his order so when the woman from the phone brings my order to the window I said hey I thought it was drive thru only that guy just came out but of course no engrish. Now I'm back at work and dig into my breakfast burrito and bite into eggshell, that's just great. Golden Star you guys really sucked tonight. 11/20/20 1115 pm

Got a breakfast burrito with bacon. The hash browns had absolutely no flavor and more mush than anything. I don't like when breakfast burritos have their eggs completely flat and flavorless. It was also served at the table with no hot sauce or pico de gallo. It was pretty dry and bland I'll never order it again.

Im on lunch break and decided to try this place.i ordered the chili cheese fries and a coke.i was 2nd in line and it took well over 15 minutes to receive my food.they used sandwich cheese instead of shredded cheddar and it wasn't even melted.the chili tasted weird. The coke was good. But this place just gave me the reassurance i needed. Eat at your own Risk!!!

Food is decent but drive through is a gamble. The last dozen times I've had to wait as short as five minutes and as long as forty minutes. I decided to post this because today I spent 20 minutes waiting for a ham and cheese omelet. I know they are making the food fresh etc but it really bothers me that they never acknowledge the long wait or apologize for it or anything like that. It's not that they are too busy to go to the drive through area either because they will often walk to the window to check how many cars are queued.

If i can put zero stars I would. I ordered 2 fried chicken dinners and mind you I have been going there for YEARS since I was a child and the worst experience ever food looked super old and soggy French fries look like if they were sitting there all morning and fried chicken was super hard and vegetables looked super reheated and rice had pieces that were hard and was super salty and broccoli was over cooked and Italian squash... so I call and complain and this young man answered told me the manager was on a business call so then I told him I would like to speak to him and he said it wasn't a guarantee to catch him there always in n out from the restaurant so then I say to myself then who else do I call so here I am typing the horrible experience I had this afternoon bad customer service I have experienced they have always been amazing idk if there was a change with the cooks to the cashiers but I am very unhappy

The pastrami sandwich I ordered was disappointing, and the zucchini fries were just as bad. I remember this place being better years ago. The pastrami was unseasoned and lacked flavor; I almost spit it out. This burger joint, typically known for great food, did not meet my expectations from the early 2000s. My (how long did you wait for a table,”) review reflects my experience with the drive-thru, (as well) which took 10-30 minutes.

Waited at the microphone for 10 minutes with no one responding. Drove up to the window just to be told to wait 5 minutes later. Left without ordering. This place really has fallen over the years. Used to be a place our family would go to at least once a week. It is nothing like it used to be

Between Gold Star and starving, I'd rather starve then try this place again. Not only is the food 100% uneditable they failed to put 20% of the order in the bag. Then laughed because they knew it wasn't it wasn't there. Don't believe me? Try it yourself, if only once. This place might be 50ish years old but that charmed died long ago. Spend wisely.

Was waiting for my order in drive thru for over 20 mins. I ordered the gyros combo with well done fries, side of taziki sauce and a side of blue cheese. I saw the cook use a napkin to wipe something off my gyros. Cashier stated it was sour cream.Was half way home and went to eat a fry and it was luke warm and soggy! Called them and they didn't care! Was gonna go back to get new fries but I had no time. Got home and the gyros was covered in a very large amount of taziki sauce .... Meat was cold. So disappointed.... Spent almost 13 dollars!

He took our order like he was being forced at gunpoint and then disappeared like he was on lunch break at NASA. Every time we asked for something, he sighed like we asked him to solve world hunger. I’ve seen friendlier attitudes on DMV workers. And the food? Not even worth arguing about. If the service is gonna be trash, at least let the food slap. It didn’t. This place is garbage in 4K. Ordered Breakfast to dine in . Food was OK . My issue was they don't do refills on coffee. Paid $4 for a weak coffee that I needed a refill . Come to find that they don't offer it . 1st restaurant in my life that I've been to that doesn't offer refills on coffee. No trash cans inside the restaurant. It's more like a fast food type diner . Been coming here since 2009. Prices have gone up dramatically and their food was alright, it just had a nice vibe eating there back in the day and now it's bad. Whoever is cooking in the back made my hamburger and sliced the tomatoe in half and straight up through a whole half tomatoe in my burger and 2 avocados in there. Breakfast burrito was FULL OF HASHBROWN and barely any sausage or egg it was very disappointing. They also didnt even chop up sausage just threw full pieces in there. You get your food in bags makes you feel unwelcomed they no longer give trays. Also, NO REFILLS. Back then they gave 1 free refill, there was a time where they charged 50 cents and now NO REFILL and they charge you a soda like if you're buying a 2 liter at a liquor store.
