Wow, a restaurant that has 5 stars from me, crazy. I popped in just because I like burgers so I got welcomed at the door, sat immediately and every 7-10 minutes my waiter checked up. It was flawless! The Malibu Burger and tortilla soup was so darn good, I was and am baffled. I expected to find some issue here, nope. Service was what really did it though, Yuri, my waiter was prime time for LA service. Though Long Beach isn't LA I guess, but dang, thanks for the perfect experience. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Food, I got the Chop Chop Salad. Bed of fresh veggies, bacon bits, BBQ style dressing and fried crisp breaded chicken breast. Perfect portions with amazing taste!!! Service: Fast, accurate and polite. Everything I needed was provided. Place was also clean. Final thought: The restaurant is in a tourist location plenty to do after. Next time I will get a burger. I will be back 🙂

Excellent place, delicious food and amazing service. Every time I come here the staff is friendly. I love the Hawaiian burger with turkey pattie, now we also add as appetizer nachos, to be honest I prefer without appetizers because the portions are big as many restaurants here in USA.

Went with my parents to eat early dinner. I got the basic Island burger and my parents had the chicken sandwich and the fish tacos. All 3 entrees were very good- to be honest I think it was the best burger I’ve had in a very long time- hot juicy bursting with flavor and the bun was artisan level and fries were excellent . The service was better than I anticipated

Overall an amazing experience! I had Jai as my server and he went ABOVE and BEYOND!! I did end up having to send my tacos back cause they were way covered in teriyaki sauce but it was all good resolved fast :) The only thing I could say was mid was the other workers I feel were playing more hooky and could’ve done more to help so my server wasn’t running around taking care of so many people inside AND outside. Jai did the damn thing and I left a good tip for him :) The atmosphere was great and a clean establishment inside and outside. Location was pretty good too since there were stores and other places to check out. Also got the Kona ice cream cake it was super good and came with a lot candle for birthday!

We came here for dinner one evening and I was able to get a nice chopped salad. Very fresh and tasty! She had the Sliders and it was more than enough for her. Our server, Rehoaddin, did a good job as the place started to fill up. We recommend!

$10 burger combo is hard to beat. Fries were a tad hard, but they give you lots of them. Friend says chicken tacos were a tad runny from the salsa making it hard to eat. Love the atmosphere with tvs everywhere!

We loved the huge, welcoming and airy atmosphere at this place. A huge bar area and plenty of booth seating all around! The restaurant is clean and the menu served typical American food. We ordered the burger (good) and the tacos (plain, not filled with too much and ok). It felt a bit expensice for what we got but loved the convenience near the pier and shopping. We enjoyed the basket of fries, and nice to have a lunch and happy hour menu. Staff were friendly and attentive and were able to easily accommodate our food add on requests. Great place for solo or groups. Enjoy!

Turbo Family Fishing

This place was nice to eat at. The inside was themed like a Tiki bar. TV's all around, so you will not miss the game from any table. The menu was simple and didn't have many options. The service was great. The food was cooked well and had pretty good flavor. I did try some alcohol and it tasted good. It's not too sweet and not lacking on alcohol. The restrooms were clean and stocked. My daughter had the Maui burger and regular fries. I had the Bleunami burger and added pickles and jalapeños with regular fries. I also had the Tropical Flight drink sampler. The wait time was very fast. However, we did go in just before the dinner rush. The wait time for the food to arrive was decent. Overall, it was a good place to eat, and I would return if I go back to Longbeach.

Came here with friends for lunch. Ordered the Jungle Ceasar salad and it was really good! I'd recommend. The place looks really cool although it's quite small I would say. Service was average. They did take long on the flight we ordered and an order of fries. But, overall we enjoyed the food. I'd come back.

We were staying at the Marriott and walked down to the Pier. On the way back we stopped in at the “Island Restaurant” to order Take-out!! My daughter placed her Gluten Free order online and I ordered in Person. There was a great atmosphere, I was greeted when I entered the restaurant. They had nice outdoor seating and also an area out front where I waited after placing my take-out order. All the staff members were very friendly. It was a busy Friday night and they had bags of to-go orders lined up. It took about 12 minutes to make both of our orders. The food was good and the best part was both of our meals were each under $20. Now, that’s hard to find a dinner meal that $13.95. Will definitely eat here again!!

The service today was excellent I wish I had her name but she has long brown hair in a ponytail. We have been here before and the service was below standard. We came back because my mom likes their lunch menu deal. So this 3rd time we had a different server and she gave excellent attentive service. Disappointing Visit to a Usually Great Spot My family and I visited Islands last week during a weekday. We’ve been to several Islands locations in the past and have always had great experiences, which made this visit all the more disappointing. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. Our server seemed disengaged, and we found ourselves having to repeatedly ask for basic things like water and napkins. It wasn’t a busy time, yet the level of attentiveness just wasn’t there. As for the food, the wings we ordered appeared undercooked, and the fries were just okay—not the quality we’ve come to expect from this chain. This review isn’t meant to bash the restaurant, but rather to provide honest feedback. We’ve enjoyed Islands many times before, but this particular experience didn’t reflect the standard we’re used to. We hope this was just an off day and not a sign of declining quality.

First my wife and I walk in barely arriving and a very chubby lady waiter with black hair ignores us twice and didn't offer us a table sends us directly to the bar when the whole restaurant was empty... we get to the bar and Yuri was nice at the start but changed his attitude after he talked to the same girl maybe because we were lesbians i don't know... I can say Yuri is stealing from customers or owner check cameras... I asked for my check on 02/10/2026 around 3:00pm or even before that he was going around the whole store with my money acting lost pretending to not find the money also with someone else's money most likely acting like there's no change to force the customer to give tip but if I was the owner I would keep an eye on him he is clearly stealing

Incredible place, awsome atmosphere, fun and the food we delicious. Unfortunately we were asked to leave because we were taking pictures. A Cuban looking "gentleman" asked us to leave so we paid our check and left. To be honest we were all perplexed but of they don't want us taking pictures then we’ll abide. I don't understand why the Google entry for this business is full of pictures. Oh well.

We went to Islands in Long Beach to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. The tables and chairs were covered in grease, so much that it transferred onto my clothes and my daughter’s clothes. Both of us were wearing new outfits she was excited to wear for her birthday, and they were ruined. On top of that, the waitress had a very unprofessional and careless attitude. She sat at a nearby table, clearly more focused on something else than on attending customers. Cleanliness and basic service are essential in a restaurant. I strongly recommend that management improve cleaning standards or schedule a deep-cleaning day, because the place felt dirty and even smelled unpleasant.

I was in town for TPM26 and staying across the street, so I decided to grab a burger for dinner. Everything was great at first — good food, good atmosphere — until a domestic dispute broke out right next to me at the bar. I happened to be on FaceTime with my wife and briefly turned my phone to show her what was going on. Almost immediately, the bartender confronted me aggressively, accusing me of recording and saying things like, “Why are you recording in here? You’re not a man. You should’ve stepped in instead of recording.” It was completely uncalled for. I wasn’t causing a disturbance, and I certainly wasn’t obligated to involve myself in a stranger’s dispute. The way it was handled felt unprofessional and hostile. I chose to leave rather than escalate the situation. Fortunately, the manager understood and did not charge me, which I appreciated. That said, based on that experience, I won’t be returning.
