Atmosphere was really loud. The wait was 30 minutes at 7:00 p.m. Friday night. Wait for the food was 25 minutes. Was eating about 8:15 p.m. And got there at 7:00.

Bring a sweater they keep it very cold inside. The food and service were great. The prices are reasonable. Plenty of people there on a Tuesday so I imagine they're crowded on the weekends. The bourbon glazed salmon and shrimp were excellent and I was able to get the glaze on the side.

The Wisconsin cheese bites are moist and scruptious, the hand made ranch dip is excellent. Also ordered the 8oz serloin with chicken strips dinner that came with 2 sides, the broccoli Mac and cheese casserole X2 is very delicious. Waitress Quintana is very professional, considerate, and curtious.

The chicken Alfredo pasta was really good and was very filling. The Monte Cristo was absolutely divine. The raspberry jam was amazing and that’s coming from someone that doesn’t even like raspberries. I was a little unsure about the sand which being deep fried and although the taste/texture was different, it was amazing.

This is a go to for me! The drinks are always reasonable and there food portions, despite inflation and b the pandemic are still a decent size. The menu has gotten smaller since then but you are able to find something you like on the new menu. Still good as always.

Good food. Great customer service. The waitress took our order and did not write it down. I ask her was she going to remember everything she said yes. I forgot her name i didn't keep the receipt. Either she did not get my order right or the kitchen did not listen to her. I said no tomatoes (food allergy) they put the small cherry tomatoes. I pick it off. I didn't get a reaction. Since it didn't cause harm i didn't push the issue about the tomatoes. Other than that it was a great experience.

Everything was great tonight! I can't remember my waiters name and I hate that because he was amazing! Thanks Cheddars!

Service was great, fast friendly, and attentive. Food was good, and came out really fast which definitely tells me most of the appetizers were already ready to go, and were not really "fresh" but it was still good so not a deal breaker. The croissants with honey butter were hot and soft really tasty! We got through about half our apps and the Mains came out so it was a lot of food all at once. The Mains were really good and a lot more fresh, they were much more appealing. Our app was the Sampler chicken strips, a spinach Cheddar dip, side of queso, side of ranch, and side of chips and salsa. Our mains were the Chicken Fried Steak with a side of loaded mashed potatoes, and red beans and rice. The other was a Shrimp and Pene Alfredo with Broccoli. We also enjoyed a couple Margaritas both are the Maui Margaritas one frozen and one on the rocks. Delicious! Definitely recommend good atmosphere and we had a good experience with the service.

This Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen located in Longview, Texas was very good. The location of this restaurant is very convenient. The parking at this location was adequate. This restaurant was very clean. The bathrooms were clean. The employees were very friendly and professional. We ordered an appetizer and we each ordered a meal and they were very fast. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We recommend this restaurant.

Still 5 starts across the board. We come here every time we come to Longview. I will have to say this dinner tonight 1-25-24 was not on par as they usually are. The waitress forgot our croissants. Most of the food was still good, we had the spinach dip as an appetizer. However, my burger was very well done on one side. The whole side was crispy black. It was very dry and overcooked. I ordered Cole slaw as my side just to try something new when I come as always. I didn't like it at all. It looked like it would taste good. It was very bland and dry. Sorry guys. I brag on this place, it's a favorite. It still is, because I've tried lots of things on the menu which I don't do at every place I go. I normally just stick with what I know is good. Y'all can do better.

The manager Seth is one of the best restaurant managers I have ever encountered. He is ready, willing and able to fix any issue and make sure customers leave happy and satisfied, eager for their next trip back. I feel like the quality has gotten better recently. If you haven't been back in a while, try it out. The fried shrimp is incredible. Can't go wrong with the salmon. If you have a sweet tooth, have the monte Cristo. The menu is very diverse.

I never write reviews but I genuinely had the best experience at cheddars last night (3/6). I don’t normally go to cheddars, matter of fact my car got hit there once so I never really go at all, but I will be coming back WAY more often because of the service I experienced last night. My server was named Mike, and he was on it, our drinks were always full, our food came out fast, he brought us an extra plate to share, made us laugh, and genuinely cared about what he was doing. I cannot stress enough that Mike needs some sort of promotion, he is the best server I have ever experienced and I will be coming back solely because of that experience.

With just moving to the area, and trying new places this is definitely the place to go. Everything on the menu looks and sounds so delicious. It was hard to choose from all the great options. The food was excellent!! The service is superb. Great hardworking staff. Everyone was so friendly and eager to assist. The atmosphere is so inviting, with both homestyle seating on one end and a more pub feeling on the other. Great for all parties. The adult drinks are great and many to choose from. We will definitely make this place a regular stop.

We sat at the bar. Mayra was the absolute best server/bartender. She didn't miss a beat. She was kind, professional and on top of everyone's needs. Our food was delicious. I ordered the pot pie, it was hot and way better than I expected and the Caesar salad was amazing. My sister ordered steak and she loved it. My dad ordered the salmon and was pleased. We go to this Cheddar's often and always have very good service and food. Tonight we went and I ordered the chicken pot pie, which I've done many times in the past, but something was off about it. It didn't taste or look good. I brought it to the attention of our waiter and asked for a menu so I could order something else. He was so apologetic, got me a menu and said he'd let the manager know. Well, she came out and immediately apologized and said the pot pie did not look good at all and asked if I wanted another one. I was kind of hesitant, but she assured me she would make it fresh herself and it would be good. That's what I really wanted, so I told her that would be great. The new pot pie came out in about 10 minutes and it was perfect! She brought it out to me herself too. Not only that, they took it off our bill! I wasn't expecting that at all, but it was an added bonus. Cheddar's is one of my favorite restaurants because they offer a variety of foods and almost everything I've tried there has been delicious. I was so pleased with the way they handled my bad chicken pot pie. The waiter and manager went above and beyond to make it right and it was so appreciated. We will continue to make this a regular dining place. Everyone is always so friendly and kind.

Cheddar's is a great place for any dining event/experience. The restaurant has great decor that feels elegant and classy. The staff is always professional and courteous in my experiences. The croissants are delicious, fluffy & warm with melted honey butter. The New Orleans pasta has a nice blend of chicken & shrimp. The white fish is not catfish but tasted ok. The best part about Chedders is the affordable prices, eating here felt like pre-covid prices. This is definitely a top choice for dining!

Warm Texas greetings and hospitality. I came for the croissants and left full from the ribs. Wasn’t a fan of the Texas Margarita but it was definitely Texas sized and a good value. The green beans had sugar in them not a fan. I did however like the sweet baby carrots. Broccoli rice and cheese has always been my favorite and went well with the falling iff the bone ribs. The service was complementary to the meal and I would definitely recommend and return.

We sat outside on a nice fall day. Seated quickly by a very nice lady. Devon was a great waiter. Monte Cristo was delicious.

It was worth the hour drive to get there.

The waiter was really nice. Didn't wait long for any of our food. I would give a 5 but we called ahead for a table for 10 about 3 hours ahead and got there and had to wait almost and hour. Kinda disappointing being my 40th b-day.

13/15 Above Average Chicken Fried Steak - Texas Certified CFS Inspector This is a second chance for Cheddars and they gained a point due to having better meat quality this time. The only thing they lacked was appearance (burnt spot) and the gravy was aight.

Really good atmosphere and our waitress was very nice. We had butter croissants (amazing), cheese curds (amazing), chicken Alfredo (barley any sauce and broccoli over cooked and mushy), and chicken fried steak (barley any flavor but sides were great). Over all it was a decent experience but their main courses could definitely use some work.

The service was good and the food was tasty. I ordered Coconut Shrimp and the dipping sauce was with coconut as well. It was sweet. I liked it. My wife got a steak and it was made they way she like it. We were a large group. The food took a lot of time.

I called for a pickup order and it was about 30 minutes to close. The lady taking the order was very nice and made me feel better about calling so close to closing time. This was my first time eating at a Cheddars in over 35 years. She helped me pick some great items like the meatloaf and the chicken pot pie. My email said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I was there and went in right when it said it would be ready. The same lady that took my order seemed irritated and upset that I walked in at close but that’s when the order was said to be ready. She was short with me and I remained chipper as I could. I pulled out my order to check it because food is expensive these days and rarely is it ever right. I was all there but she didn’t like that I was taking more of her precious time. I thought it was standard protocol for the person handing your order to check it with you and for you. I guess not. I tried to make her feel better by giving her a 30% tip. I regret that since all she did was put the food in the bag. I handed her the tip in cash and had to tell HER thank you. She just said “mm hmm”. Because of that I don’t think I will be going back. I understand everyone wants to get home as soon as possible after a work shift but maybe people should consider that I also just got off of work and was just getting my dinner. If she didn’t want to stay an extra 3 minutes then why did she even take my order??? Customer service is non-existent anymore it seems. It’s like people act like they are doing you a favor when they are the ones on the clock. Then to be rude and ungracious for what I thought was a HUGE tip given for them to treat me like a piece of crap. I’d like to think maybe something else was in her mind and she didn’t mean to be so hateful but I highly doubt it.

I had a steak, shrimp, mash potatoes, corn, and broccoli. Everything was stellar! However, while the broccoli was cooked very well, it didn't have anything on it. I'd suggest butter. Was almost a lower review. Arrived just an hour before closing and waited 10+ minutes to have a server come and serve us. The 8 oz (I like my steak cooked) was well done, however, loss in the tenderness area. It had the fire grilled flavor I enjoy. The Monte Cristo came out on top for this meal. The flavor, texture, and build of the sandwich were very well done. The fries suffered the wait of the plate and came out tasting good but cold. The waitress did a great job, drinks filled, no waiting, and paid attention to me. If you get the chance, stop in. This was my first time here, and I wouldn't mind coming back. I used to love Cheddar’s years ago, but either the quality has dropped or I’ve outgrown this place. I barely tasted the honey butter on the croissants. This is something I’ve noticed at other locations as well. There were only two in our party and we were placed in the bar area. The vibe seemed off, so maybe that took away from the experience as well. The frozen Margarita was huge for the price so I should have known it wouldn’t have tasted like much. I had a Caesar salad and the monte cristo. There was way too much meat in it, so I couldn’t taste the cheese or the battered crust on the outside. The accompanying jam was super sweet and overpowered the entire dish. Even though nothing was fantastic about our meal, I like the fact that two people can eat for less than $25 here lol.

Highly disappointing! The pot pie was overcooked (almost burnt). I've had it before and it was delicious! The onion rings were flavorless! My husband requested his burger be cooked medium, but it was well done and horrible! We only ate about half our food because we were so disappointed. We were celebrating our anniversary and planned to order dessert, but changed our mind after this terrible meal. You're cook either doesn't know how to cook or doesn't care. Pot Pie shouldn't have left the kitchen! Not burnt, but close! We've been here many times but won't return.

My wife and I decided to do a date night here because we used to like the drinks. The hostess took us to this table where she and we had to step over all the food on the floor. It occurred to me, that if there dining room was this dirty imagine the kitchen. We immediately left.

I don’t know who they got back there cooking but my pasta was watery and dry and no seasoning the waiter was so nice but $30 down the drain they need a food inspector for that stuff the one in Tyler tx was waaaaay better plz do better cheddars in Longview so disappointed

Seems like this place has really gone down hill. We used to enjoy dining here but lately the portions have become smaller but the prices keep going up. During our last visit we had a 15 wait to be seated (which I don't mind) but after arriving at our table it took another 15 minutes before our waiter came and took our order. After waiting another 30 minutes, we had to track her down to get the status of our order. She never came back to the table again so we left. I caught the manager on the way out to let her know we weren't dashing, just out of time and had to go. Her only response was that it takes 20 minutes to prepare most orders. I told her we'd been waiting 45 minutes and she seemed nonplussed and reiterated that it takes 20 minutes to prepare most orders. Her reply seemed rehearsed and emotionless, who knows what's going on with that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

02/11/24 once again my cups of queso were half empty and out of my 5 trays of chips gathered like 12 that were not stale on the right side. My god every time for the last 12 years . At least the half cup of queso wasn’t bad or half mixed or clumped like sometimes.we need to make fresh ships hit me up no kidding i can train your guys. Sincerely

We normally eat here 3 or 4 times a week. It will be a while before we come back. We waited 40 minutes for food. I didn't get what i ordered. Gravy was cold. Steak was raw.

I ordered salmon with no rice, green beans and steamed broccoli. Salmon was overcooked and rubbery. Came with rice, not the end of the world, I decided to try it and it tasted like crunchy nuts. The green beans were delicious, just not enough of them, the broccoli tasted like it had absorbed food odor in the refrigerator for too long. I was visiting friends, I am from another State, unsure if there’s a cheddars near me, but after this experience I am not going to try to find one. The only saving grace was the server. BTW, those table top kiosks are annoying and inconvenient. A definite reason to avoid this restaurant too.

We went here after church one afternoon. Well my meal was horrible. I got the grilled chicken cranberry salad and the chicken was so rubbery. The manager refused to do anything about it and went on to say other customers had the same complaint. That is was a bad batch of chicken. I didn't think it was a fair enough excuse and seemed so dumb. I guess customers don't matter to them cus they continue to get the same vendor and same chicken complaint. We will never go back, ever again.

See if you can guess what this is? It's what they call meatloaf. It was terrible as you can see. It was burned and not done in the inside. I was very disappointed. This was a pickup order. I would suggest you check it before you leave because I didn't and had to make a extra trip to take it back. I will say the manager refunded my money 3 days later.

I recently dined at Cheddar’s in Longview on Eastman Road and, unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. While the initial presentation of the food appeared acceptable, the quality quickly proved otherwise. The shrimp was carelessly placed atop the salmon, and the rice was severely undercooked to the point of being crunchy and unpleasant. In addition to the food issues, the overall service was subpar, which only added to the dissatisfaction. Although my entrée was removed from the bill, the other items—such as the ribs and chicken tenders—were also poorly prepared, yet no further accommodations were offered. This experience fell well below expectations, and I hope management takes these concerns seriously to improve future guest experiences.
