As Filipino , whenever I come down to visit my family in L.A. , Chowking is my favorite fast food chain to go to (other than jollibee, since we don’t have chowking in Florida) Lauriat combo- Lo mein noodles, Shanghai rolls, extra Crispy chicken and of course Rice. 🤤😋 Gulaman- ✅

Came here recently to buy halo halo and siopao, I can say that the siopao is better than the one back in the Philippines. Also tried the taho and that was so good ill buy again when I visit LA again.

This store in eagle rock makes me feels like I’m back in the Philippines. The crew are friendly and nice. They go through with your order. The food is the same taste back in the Philippines. I prefer this location than anywhere else not just in California but in the entire USA. Please support this store!

The pork buns are good. We got the combo with fried chicken and it wasn't the greatest. Also the place could use a good cleaning. Just not the cleanest looking place to eat. But then again the mall isn't the greatest either.

Service was great and fast. But the food is definitely not what they advertise. I got the fried rice with siomai for $10. Dumplings were alright but the fried rice was just rice. Barely any veggies, barely any meat. I occasionally go back hoping they’ll change my mind, but it’s always disappointing. Definitely not worth the price or visit.

Disappointed today. Ordered Halo Halo and Taho, to go. Received a fork and spoon + napkins. The regular spoon was too short and the Taho tasted like "cardboard".

in photo it looks nice and delicious but when you order, the chicken was so dry the skin and coating of the chicken is like a gum. barbeque in the photo was big but when you order its very small like a finger. very dissapointing! waste of money. the only order i like was the halo halo and the rest is just a waste.

Concern About Customer Service – February 25, 2026 (4:54 PM) Chowking – 2700 Colorado Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041 I would like to share a concern regarding our experience at your location today. My family and I (2 toddlers and 1 newborn) ordered food from Jollibee in front and brought it into Chowking because we planned to purchase halo-halo and siopao for dessert afterward. While we were eating, an OLDER female employee began loudly stacking chairs at the two tables beside us. The way she moved the chairs felt aggressive and unnecessary, and she looked at us in a way that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome — as if she was upset that we were eating food from another restaurant. Afterward, I went to the counter to order our desserts and respectfully raised my concern. Unfortunately, the employee involved did not acknowledge us or explain her actions. She remained in the back kitchen area while I spoke. No apology was offered. The receipt name shows “Marie Antonette” at 4:54 PM, but this was not the employee who approached our area. When we asked for the name of the older female employee, we were not given her name. As a family with small children, we simply wanted to enjoy our meal peacefully and planned to support your restaurant by ordering desserts. The experience made us feel uncomfortable and affected our appetite. I hope management can address this matter and remind staff about professionalism and respectful customer service. Thank you for taking the time to review this concern.
