Best pupusas in the area! Flavorful and not too greasy.
Very good chilatr and yuca fruta.
This is the place for authentic pupusas I use to live in the neighborhood and this was my place.Every time im in the neighborhood I make sure to stop for some pupusas. This place is owned by a women and ran by women! They are always super welcoming and a very clean place. They always treat you like family. I always get their calabaza pupusa as well as bean, cheese and loroco pupusa together with a drink called ensalada. The owner sometimes walks around asking her customers how they are doing.
We had breakfast and all was delicious. The service was cordial and hot the order right.
Delicious pupusas and the dessert definitely has that Salvadorean 😋 taste. Clean restaurant service was great! I've been seeing this place for over 10 years never bothered to stop by. My best friend and daughter brought invited us and I can say I've been missing out. Come in and try it! Don't miss out like me 🫢
Food is delicious! Space in the restaurant is too small. Baby in the car seat was nowhere to be placed other than on top of the table, taking all the space for our food. Anyhow, food is worth your money!
The BEST pupusas! And everything else was amazing too. My husband lost his mom yrs ago and this place took him back home to her cooking for him. The breakfast plate they gave him was EXACTLY how he described the bfast mom would make him. From the cafe con leche to the Plantanos fritos and frijoles were amazing. This is a MUST if you want authentic food.
Good food and price
The pupusas here are absolutely delicious, and the desserts truly capture that authentic Salvadoran flavor. The restaurant is clean, well kept, and the service is friendly and attentive. We visited with family and were all impressed by the quality and taste of the food. It does take a bit of time for the dishes to come out, but everything is made fresh and well worth the wait. Both adults and kids enjoyed the meal. Prices are reasonable for a sit-down restaurant—not the cheapest, but fair for the portions, quality, and overall experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for flavorful Salvadoran cuisine made with care.
Food is good 👍 service is alright 👍
The food is delicious and I love it! They were looking for help and I filled in an application, however, they never called me back. They still have that "Help Needed" poster on the door so I don't know what's up? Their waitresses radiate so much apathy it makes me want to leave. The service is really bad and the food takes a LONG time to be made. It is pretty clean overall, but if a table is dirty they take a long time to clean it. It's good quality and probably the best Salvadorean restaurant around here, but it's TOO SLOW.
The food is average. I would have given it 3 stars if their customers service was better. They used to take phone orders, but now they never answer.
Food is not good. It used to be good, now the soup tastes like mint tea. Plus they take forever to get your order, the waitresses are rude. Not coming back. I used to love this place.
Today we ordered to go and when we got home The fried beans had a thick film of oil on to top!! Very gross
The food itself was decent — well-prepared and flavorful — but the service left a lot to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the servers seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. Throughout our meal, no one checked in to see if we needed anything or how our food was. On top of that, our plates were taken without even asking if we were finished, which felt both rushed and disrespectful. It’s disappointing because the kitchen clearly puts effort into the food, but the front-of-house staff made the overall experience uncomfortable. Sadly, I won’t be in a hurry to return.
Food is really good but they definitely don’t make people feel welcomed, maybe if they don’t like what they do for work, they should just try finding another job. Improve your customer service and timing. Las Guanaquitas working there are bitter.
I've been here twice with my husband the first time my food took a bit long but it was delicious so I decided to go back to get the chilaquiles (what I had got the first time). The second experience was horrible when we got there there were only 3 other people there and two came after us. Apart from them getting helped first my food was cold so I waited about 10 min to get service finally asked them to please heat my food up I waited 15 min more.... no food. My husband had finished his meal so I told him let's just go the lady in the front charged us both plates of food (keep in mind I still haven't received my food and I had only taken a bite). When I asked her why she was charging me both plates and if I could please get my money back because my food STILL wasn't ready she got upset and said it was my fault for ordering something I didn't really want.
