Opiniones de Noodle Art Los Angeles
I like donuts that are cakey and not oily Krispy Kreme style, so I really enjoyed this one.
Fun hip take on your usual donuts. Service was very friendly and they had samples too. My faves were the old fashioned and huckleberry but they had a lot of other flavors too. I’m very partial to traditional donuts that are light and yeasty but these are good enough to make an exception. Not sure how their coffee is but these are def the type of donuts that pair really well with a hot cup. Tried a few more of their flavor since and upgrading my review. They’re fantastic.
Overall: 9/10 Best coffee spot around Farmers market / The Grove area. I tried 'em all. Coffee: 8/10. Very good cappucino. It's a bit acidic and sour, but surprisingly very tasteful. Seems like a medium roast. It's on the same level as Blue Bottle cappucino, which is my favorite in LA. They have milk options as well. Price: 9/10. It's $5 for the small cappucino, which is expensive but $1 cheaper than Blue Bottle cappucino. Same quality. Service: 10/10. Very friendly. Good vibes. They accommodated me two minutes before they closed. Kudos! Interior: 7/10. Nothing special. It's a coffee corner, not a large coffee place. They have a few seats outside. Interior design is there (as it can be at this small place). They also sell nice-looking doughnuts, which I didn't try. But it seems like a good variety.
Their donuts are amazing. Different than a pink box type of place. More consistent with a cake donut. I strongly recommend eating them fresh. They are at their best recently out of the oven. But can't go wrong even if enjoyed hours later. The location has parking but you need to remember to validate. Butter and salt is their most popular option for a reason.
Best doughnuts I’ve ever had. I honestly can’t wait to come back to Cali to eat here again. The cookie dough was probably my favorite if I had to choose but it’s a tough call because they are all amazing! The Girl Scout cookie flavors are all delicious. Lemon curd is mouthwatering. The eggs Benedict doughnut absolutely blew my mind! So much more than a cool concept; it delivers a full brunch experience inside a doughnut. The Vietnamese iced coffee was so strong and tasty. Just the perfect way to start a day
Amazing doughnuts! They have a good variety of unique flavours. The doughnuts are incredibly fresh and taste incredible. Definitely one of the best doughnuts that I’ve ever tried. Our favourite of the ones we tried was the “Choc A Lot”, but they are all great!
Favorite doughnut place iN LA!! My only complaint is that I wish they were bigger. They’re normal sized but I’m a fan of giant doughnuts - these doughnuts are fluffy and soft inside and melts inside your mouth. I had the strawberries and cream doughnut and my friend had the huckleberry cake doughnut. The strawberries and cream had a sweet creamy filling and overall They’re pretty quality. I also had a matcha iced latte which was good as well. Sidecar is also a bit more on the pricier side, but the doughnuts are tasty. I recommend coming here if you’re visiting LA and looking for doughnut places!!
They offer both cake and raised doughnuts. Some are more simple, some fancy. They have all fashioned ones too. Enjoy!

look-to everyone who sees the reviews saying people are mad they had to wait a few minutes-this is the reality of donuts of this calibar-of any food of this calibar-When you order a burger and fries and its ready in a few minutes vs say 10-15, what does this tell you? Do you notice the quality change? See my other reviews from around the world on donut places-This are the best donuts in the world. For a time it was District in the south(and vegas) but this place has mastered every flavor and texture of dough and batter to produce what is almost totally different items every time you bite into one. You cant go wrong but i recommend bring people to share with. If you dont like cake doughnuts-get a cake doughnut and same way for the yeast raised. Great experience here and i cant believe they maintain this quality across multiple locations.
We ordered it to go but these donuts were really good. I was a bit shocked by the price but they were so bouncy and soft, the flavors were fun, I have no complaints. We got a dozen.

Sidecar Doughnuts is a cool little boutique donut and coffee shop with specialty doughnuts. I ordered the Cookies and Creme Donut which was delicious. Also great and friendly service.
April 2025: I came back to try a seasonal donut - the yeasty Lavender and honey bee donut. Made with brioche dough. Yum. A $5 donut that I enjoyed thoroughly. Sprinkled with bee pollen. My friend hated her Vietnamese coffee though. She said the condensed milk was gross. *shrugs* July 2024: I stumbled upon this donut shop in Beverly Grove, and let me tell you, the blueberry pancake donut absolutely knocked my socks off! I decided to visit right at the end of the day, just before closing, and even then, it was still incredibly delicious.
I got the Maple Bacon Donut, which had a great maple flavor, but not much bacon on it at all. The staff greeted everyone who walked in the door. They had samples available. Small location inside, but had some available chairs and tables outside. Very clean location. It is more on the expensive side for donuts, but it's also because they are specialty donuts, not the typical breakfast donut shop
Great donuts with really unique flavors and cute packaging. Got the basil eggs Benedict which was delicious - had a poached egg, basil hollandaise and ham!!! Definitely a must have there. Also ordered two of their fall seasonal flavors - sage apple pie (really didn’t like it, sage flavor was overpowering but my partner loved it) and pumpkin cheesecake (not overpowering pumpkin spice flavor, very moist). Their seasonable drink, the black fog milk oat tea, was great as well. The Fairfax location is small so it only fit a few customers at a time and the acoustics make it difficult to hear/speak to staff. But they have an outdoor pickup window so you don’t have to stay inside.
Have come to this location twice and tried about 5 different flavors. The line moves quickly, they are able to do decaf espresso beverages and have amazingly tasty cake donuts. This is one of the few locations where the cake donuts almost outshine the yeasted rise ones. My favorite flavors so far are probably the huckleberry as well as the seasonal flavors of Meyer lemon and passion fruit pavlova if you are feeling especially decadent and sinful. The only reason they did not get 5 stars from me is that the donuts are a bit on the pricey size averaging about $4 each. I do recommend ordering online through their website - you can avoid any line and the wait by doing so and they have very clear pictures available for you to peruse.

Sidecar has some pretty solid donuts. I would call them pastries over donuts though. I was excited for this Apple Pan collab donut with Sidecar and had it yesterday. It was not good at all. No flavor really. No taste. Barely any sweetness. I don’t really get it. If they put a regular Sidecar donut like an Old Fashioned or glazed donut with Apple Pans apple pie it would be so delicious. We got neither with this donut. The worst part is I bought 2 of them. $12 down the drain. I could’ve got a dozen donuts from a hole in the wall donut shop for $12 and been so much happier. Disappointing
I love Sidecar donuts and have been coming here for years. For some reason I’ve experienced a decline when the customer service at this location. To clarify I am not saying each employee has horrible customer service at this location because some are outstanding everytime. When I do have a positive experience I leave a positive review. Today I received an email saying the Berry Parfait Donut was leaving soon so I went to go try it because I hadn’t tried it yet. My husband and I walk in, no one greeted us, and both employees stayed silent the whole entire time. Even when I asked for my donut he just grabbed it boxed it up and checked me out with out saying one word and looked extremely annoyed that he “had to help us” As you can tell in the photo the donut was not made right and was not made with of love, had no Berry flavor and taste dry and overcooked. The person that “helped” is said his name was Mario. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day or what? And the other gentleman working alongside Mario was no better, he had in both AirPods and didn’t acknowledge us at all. The whole visit this morning was very disappointing and was a rude and unforgettable experience. I may just start going to a different location because they just wasn’t cool.
I was reluctant to get coffee at a donut shop but they have a proper menu and machine so I went for my usually flat white. The outcome is an extremely short one, filling just two thirds of a 6oz cup. The latte art was a small circle of foam that I saw the barista scooping out of the jug and added to the coffee. It's just not the same level of coffee that you would get from a specialty shop. As for donuts, I never liked donuts but I tried two. They were ok, did not change my mind.

If you're looking to pay $6 for a mediocre donut l, this is your place. The donuts are unique creations. I couldn't actually find one that looked good to be honest, but my teenage daughter thought this place had a amazing donuts.

Took only one doughnut to try, unfortunately mine was dry from the outside and wasn’t fully ready from the inside... The floor inside and out was dirty and the macchiato was the wrong ratio between the espresso and milk. Not sure if they upholding their name.

I live within walking distance and have been here several times, but after today I think I’m done. I stopped in to grab some donuts and try a new seasonal coffee, but the service was flat-out disrespectful. One customer was chatting casually with two employees while the coffee guy seemed to be making himself a drink, as no one else was in the store. After waiting a few mins, another customer came in and still no greeting or acknowledgment. All three guys up front, plus one in the back, clearly saw and chose to ignore me. They checked out the first guy, and not one of them said a word. It was honestly bizarre. I stood there long enough to realize they had no intention of helping and left. I went to a spot in The Grove instead, where the staff actually know how to treat customers. It’s unacceptable and from what I’m seeing in other reviews, it’s not an isolated incident, especially towards women. Management really needs to step in, because whoever owns this franchise should know customers are being disrespected and driven away by staff who clearly don’t care. 👎
