This is the best kbbq in America and nothing else compares. I am Korean too and I’ve had a lot of KBBQ in Seoul and this compares with those spots as well. The meat here is top notch, the quality is amazing and even without getting the wagyu menu it still melts in your mouth. The service here is also phenomenal, the waiters cook everything here for you. Although the wait time can be long the line moves pretty fast and there is an outdoor bar in the waiting area so you can order drinks while you wait for your table which is also nice. Whenever I am in LA I always stop by here despite being out in South Bay.
If you know, you know. Many Ktown restaurants are open on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. I went to Quarter’s KBBQ on New Year’s Day, and wow, it was packed! Thank goodness I made a reservation. I ordered the ribeye and marinated beef short rib, and everything was absolutely delicious. Since it’s a full-service Korean BBQ restaurant, the server grilled and cut the meat for us. All I had to do was pick up my chopsticks and enjoy. I’ll definitely be back. Watch full experience at @mytopthingsss
Went to Quarters Korean BBQ and it lived up to the hype. The quality of the meat was excellent and everything came out fresh and well seasoned. The staff was attentive and helped with grilling so everything was cooked perfectly. The banchan was solid and kept coming. The ambience really sets the place apart with a lively upbeat vibe that feels modern but still classic Ktown. It is busy and energetic but not chaotic and great for both group dinners and special nights out. Easily one of the best Korean BBQ spots in Koreatown and I would definitely come back again.
Wow… this place absolutely melts me. I’m a big fan of Korean cuisine, and this spot truly takes the prize. The food is incredibly flavorful, the service is amazing, and the drinks are great. Everything tastes fresh and high-quality. Definitely a place to try with friends and family.
We love coming here because you don't have to cook the meat yourself. Who wants to cook when you're eating out?! The Kimchi soup is so yummy and so are the sauces that you can dip the meat in. Everything always tastes great and they serve mixed drinks, which is a huge plus!! Don't skip this place.
We ate here years ago and we had a good experience. They will cook for you and try to phase it out so u dont feel rushed into eating. If you order the combo they give you complimentary kimchi pancake and kimchi stew. If u have a kid with you, you can order a side plain rice which my daughter ate with the meat and cheese. The only thing that happened today, is they forgot to give one of our extra order, they didnt charge us for it, so all good. Went here for Friday lunch and there were a lot of available space.
Always love coming to this spot — there’s pretty much always a wait, which says a lot. Even on a random Monday evening, we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. We had a group of five and ordered the large combo along with beef tongue and boneless beef short rib. The meat quality is solid, and one of the best parts is that they cook everything for you, so you can just relax and enjoy. They’re also great about refilling the banchan and give you a side of cheese for dipping your meats, which is a nice touch. Service was excellent, and overall it’s a reliable go-to for KBBQ with good quality and consistency. Just make sure to leave your name down and take a stroll around the plaza while you wait.
This was our third time at Quarters Korean BBQ in LA, and it just keeps getting better. The vibe is fun, the service is solid, and the food? Seriously delicious. This time around they had a new (and free!) side dish – kimchi pancakes – and wow, they were a great surprise. Super flavorful and crispy, definitely hope they keep those around. We ordered Combo 1 like we usually do, and as always, it was amazing. Perfect portions, high-quality meat, and they grill it right in front of you. The kimchi soup was 🔥 – a solid 10/10 if you love spicy dishes. Pro tip: Make a reservation if you can. It gets really busy, especially on weekends. Highly recommend for Korean BBQ lovers or anyone looking to try something fun and delicious!
The food is amazing! Whatever you order, it will not disappoint. You have to get the kimchi fried rice cause it’s authentic and delicious. I love ordering pork jowl cause it comes with cheese. I also love all the sides cause it goes well with the meat. It does get very busy so the servers will forget the things you asked for.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Quarters Korean BBQ offers a great ambiance and an overall enjoyable dining experience. The atmosphere is stylish and lively, making it a nice place to dine out. While the food and service are good, for a price point of $80+ per person, it didn’t fully feel like I got my money’s worth. I couldn’t quite pinpoint what was missing—perhaps a bit more variety in the dipping sauces or a more interactive grilling experience. Parking can also be challenging during evenings or weekends. Still, it’s a solid spot and worth trying, especially for the atmosphere.
I’ve been coming to Quarters for some years now. Food is consistently good. Service can be iffy sometimes but tonight we had Yomi and she was great. Honestly, the best server we’ve had. It’s worth the price. It does get crowded but we waited 15 mins for a party of 2. Forewarning about tables near the bar window because the smoke blows strongly. I ended up having to move my seat because of the choking and my eyes getting red. Otherwise, great experience per usual.
Honestly, it’s just okay. The meat is good, and the sides are decent, but nothing mind-blowing. The sauces are pretty solid, though. The service is friendly, but they kinda rush you to finish eating, which isn’t great for a place like this. It’s just not worth the price or the hype, especially with the vibe and everything. Wouldn’t really recommend it.
One of the well-known KBBQ places in LA that has good cuts of meat and cool vibe. They also take reservations now so recommend doing so to avoid a long wait. They have some fusion touches such as pesto included as on of their dipping sauces, which surprised me but works. They do the cooking so you don’t need to worry about it. We got a group combo meal and was full at the end. Also recommend adding the Makeolli if you’re looking for an alcoholic drink other than Soju and want something sweet and different. Overall, good modern KBBQ and good for those new to Korean food.
The food is great, good enough to be mentioned in Michelin Guide for their uniqueness. But the atmosphere is obnoxiously loud for a Korean Barbecue joint. People were talking with their lungs out, screaming at each other just to have a chance at communicating. I can imagine it's like this every night and far worse during weekends.

Quarters Korean has a fun atmosphere, but overall I felt it wasn’t really worth the hype. Most of the meats are marinated and on the sweeter side, we ordered a combo and the portion was actually pretty small considering the price, definitely on the expensive side 💰 On top of that, we waited a long time to be seated although we already have an online reservation and even longer to get the check, which was frustrating. They do grill the meat for you, which is nice if you just want to relax and chat with friends, and the vibe is lively with drinks available. Parking exists but is very limited during meal times. Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re looking for atmosphere, but personally I don’t think it’s worth the long wait and high price.
Compared to other higher end Korean BBQ’s, not sure Quarters stands out at all. The wait was ridiculous and service was bad to non existent. They did cook our meats, but wasn’t too happy about it :). Quality of the meats were decent and do like the combo options, but not sure I would go back due to service and wait. Too many other places to try and or get my repeat business because of better service. Do not regret trying the place and might go back for a “party” night because they do have music and drinks while you wait. Parking was tough too, but expected for K-Town.
We here on a Thursday afternoon and the food was great! We went into a food coma by the end. The only bad thing was the staff as “friendly” as they were, they really didn’t pay attention to the tab…
I’ve been to Quarters Korean BBQ multiple times over the years, and I keep hoping it’ll improve. It hasn’t. The biggest issue is consistency. Every visit follows the same pattern: a 20 to 40 minute wait minimum, even with the constant turnover. Once seated, the service feels rushed and indifferent. It doesn’t feel like anyone is invested in the experience. As for the food, the quality of the meat just isn’t where it should be for Koreatown. The cuts lack the depth of flavor and marbling you expect at this price point. Compared to other KBBQ spots nearby, especially Parks BBQ or Mun, it’s not even close. The difference in meat quality is noticeable immediately. Quarters does have one thing going for it: the energy. The plaza vibe is lively, loud, and great if you’re looking to drink and hang out with a group. If your priority is atmosphere over food, you’ll probably enjoy it. But if you’re going for high-quality Korean BBQ, there are better options within walking distance. Parks delivers stronger meat quality, and Mun has both better service and a more refined overall experience. It feels like as Quarters has grown more popular, the focus has shifted away from the product itself. When there’s always a line out the door, quality control tends to slip. That’s what it feels like here.
This was my first time at Quarters (9/27/25 at 7:15pm). We were seated at table #13 in the corner, and the smoke constantly blew straight into our faces and eyes, making it hard to breathe and leaving our eyes burning. It was uncomfortable and distracting throughout the meal. The food itself was the highlight. The beef combo and marinated beef short rib were both juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We really enjoyed the quality of the meat. Unfortunately, the service was a big letdown. Daniel rolled his eyes multiple times from the moment he took our order. Yes, the restaurant was loud, but instead of clarifying, he gave us nothing but attitude when one of my friends asked a simple question. Yomi wasn't any better--she kept a blank, unfriendly expression the whole time and stepped on my partner's foot twice without a word of apology. The lack of basic courtesy from both of them made the experience frustrating and unpleasant. The only person who stood out was the manager. He was professional, warm, and checked on our table more than our own servers did. Honestly, if not for him, the service would have been a complete disaster. Overall: good food, terrible service. The management deserves credit, but the staff's attitude ruined what could have been a great experience.
The service was awful, the food lacked flavor, and the prices were too high. Never again!!! Long wait!!! Never again!!!

Since the start of the cooking for our table, I had been meticulously saving most of my own meal (which totaled $52) in a bento style to-go box for my husband who was at home sick. Our group had been…
Coming to this restaurant was, without question, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. To be fair, the food itself was okay about a 7/10. Not bad, but also not the best KBBQ I’ve had. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the meal. Our server was consistently rude and unprofessional. He tossed utensils and tools onto the table, rolled his eyes at basic requests, and responded with visible irritation throughout the meal. Our requests were simple: a ladle for the soup, a refill for an empty pitcher, and confirmation that no pork would be served due to our allergies. Each time, we were met with attitude. I understand the restaurant was busy and he may have been overwhelmed. We intentionally kept our requests to a minimum. Still, when you’re charging premium prices, you should deliver a baseline level of hospitality and professionalism yet we received the opposite. When we raised these concerns with the manager on 2/15 around 4 PM, our experience worsened. He dismissed our feedback, showed little empathy, and made no effort to address or improve the situation. While we were speaking with him, our server began slamming items near the bar, which felt retaliatory and made us genuinely uncomfortable. This level of service and conduct was unacceptable, especially for a restaurant with Michelin recognition. If you decide to dine here, I strongly recommend advocating for yourself and not hesitating to request a different server if needed
I decided to try Quarters Korean BBQ based on a friend's recommendation, as he had a good experience before. However, after this meal, he declared that he won't be coming back. Having worked in a Japanese Steak House, I believe I know a little bit about steaks, and to be fair, the quality of Quarters' meat was decent. However, the service left much to be desired. Our server seemed rushed and did little beyond taking orders. He was more of an 'order receiver' than a server. There was another person, presumably in charge of cutting meat, who came and tossed the meat around without offering any information. While beef can be cooked to medium, we ordered a Large combo that included pork. A simple confirmation would have been appreciated. The cheese dipping was placed on the corner of the skewer without any explanation. We had to figure it out ourselves. Should I keep going? Our table was located near the door, and it was never closed. Consequently, cold winds blew directly onto our table throughout the entire meal. The smoke from the grill also blew into our faces, making the experience quite unpleasant. Even before we finished our meat, the server cleared away all the food and asked if we wanted anything else. I was still eating! The music was terrible – too loud, and it seemed like the exhaust hood wasn't working. Be ready to check your lungs after a meal here. To summarize, The food at Quarters Korean BBQ was decent, but unfortunately, the service was terrible, and the atmosphere was unbelievably wrong, I will never come back again!
