Opiniones de Rahel Ethiopian Vegan Cuisine Los Angeles
Super cute restaurant with great service and the food is absolutely incredible!!! We got the veggie and meat combo for two, sambusas, mango juice, and the pineapple wine. I'd die for that food no doubt about it. 💅 Excellent flavors everything was 10/10. I also got a piece of lemon cake and cheesecake for dessert, but we are absolutely stuffed and have tons of leftovers so I won't eat that until later. You must go here. Obsessed with this place.
Came for the AYCE brunch buffet on weekend. Ate all the things and really enjoyed hanging out here. Got the coffee at the end and our server was very helpful. Tasty Ethiopian and always a great place to visit to try other types of cuisine.
Always so delicious!! Rahel, Wondu and all are always so kind and accommodating!! We had a birthday party of 36 there! You must go!!
Rahel Ethiopian Vegan Cuisine at 1047 S Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90019 This is my second time going to this restaurant, it is a vegan Ethiopian restaurant. Both times I came here is for the lunch buffet, also it comes with a nice little dessert at the end. I bought a slice of their vegan cheesecake, but forgot to take a picture 😋 lol. Overall it's been an enjoyable time on both trips, I've been here. This time I actually drove and you can park up front if you can get a parking space on Sunday for free. Other than the parking, that's the only thing difficult about this area. It seems to have a lot of other Ethiopian type shops very close walk.
Located in Little Ethiopia, Rahel is an authentic culinary experience that will leave you feeling full (but not overly so) and very happy. There are so many amazing options for vegans and vegetarians, it can be hard to choose but honestly there’s no bad option, everything my partner and I have tried here is VERY good. The injera is prepared perfectly and is so light but not too easy to rip, as it’s easy to pick up all of the different items in the platter (typically an assortment of veggies both hot and cold, spiced to perfection). The sambusas are also out of this world. I would absolutely recommend eating here, I can’t wait to go back!!
Delightful experience: family-friendly, tasty, and naturally vegan and gluten-free! Strong coffee and fun desserts, too!
The sambusas were the best I’ve ever had, and the next time I visit, I’m probably ordering three. The pastry was golden, flaky, crunchy, and so so flavorful. They were a huge hit with everyone at the table. Our hudade was great too, but the sambusas will absolutely be what we come back for.
We are vegan and GF, so this place was perfect for us! Service was great and fast. Food was very affordable. We got the vegan feast for 2 and only had to make one substitute since the sambusa is not GF. So we added the chickpea stew to our plate, and everything was amazing! It was also very filling but did not feel heavy. Would definitely return and recommend this restaurant.
This restaurant is an absolute gem. I have ordered from them over and over again have never been disappointed. I also recently tried their desserts and am in loooove!!!! Especially with the mango cake!! Pictured below is the "Paradise" plate for 1 made with gluten free injera. Please support this business because everything they do is done with love.
So much food and variety for what you pay. Great Ethiopian food and I love the quality of the veggies and lentils. Will definitely return even if it’s a bit pricey, lunch cost $30 after Tip
Yummy food! The portions are really big. We ordered so much and couldn’t finish lol Definitely get a cup of coffee for a nice ending to the feast. The service is also excellent. 5 stars!
One of the best vegan options I have ever been introduced to! Excellent coffee service and juice/beverage selections. Unique flavours and vibe. If you have never tried Ethiopian food- this is a great place to start.
This restaurant is exceptionally delicious in every way. The food is fresh and made with care, the service was first class, and the atmosphere was idyllic. I'm already looking forward to returning for their buffet. Thank you for hosting our large party on Sunday. I can't tell you enough how grateful we are for the hospitality and kindness. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wonderful all vegan restaurant in Little Ethiopia. Went on a quiet Thursday evening. Half the restaurant has more traditional seating and vibes including one gazebo looking table that would be great for a big group. Our server was very nice and we didn’t feel rushed at all even though we were the last table. Had one of the combination platter for two that includes plenty of dishes for a little over $40. The injera was perfect. It was bouncy with a good chew and not overly sour. So glad we got the platter because it was delicious and super filling. I don’t think there was one item that I didn’t like. There was a mix of stewed greens, lentils, and a fresh salad. I’m not vegan but didn’t feel like I was missing meat at all. Our combo came with baklava at the end and it was also super tasty. Not overly sweet. Would def recommend this place especially if you’re vegan.

The buffet (Friday to Sunday, 11 AM to 3 PM) was absolutely wonderful and very worth the price (around $20 per person). The food was fresh and delicious and the service was great and friendly.
Very authentic Ethiopian food. Our friend visits us here and loves Ethiopian’s food when he stayed in Ethiopia for 2 months. We decided to come Rahel to enjoy some good food. He thinks it’s very authentic. We ordered millennial special for three people. The portion of food was insane. The plate is probably 14” big. The one with pumpkin is really good. (I honestly don’t know what I was eating) The carrot juice They have outdoor seating if you prefer sitting outdoor. Overall it was a good experience.
We had a wonderful experience for lunch for two! They had a lunch special which was a sampler platter and every single thing on it was amazing. We were in heaven! It was the best meal of our trip! We also had a delicious piece of mango cake for dessert. Our server was very friendly and took great care of us, and we were seated by the window which was lovely. By the way, we are not vegans! This place is not just for vegans. Seemed like a family business too, very sweet people and we felt good about choosing them. We can’t wait to go again!
Ordered the Feast and Lemon Cake were delicious. Walked in to take out, but next time I'll dine in. The decor was lovely and seating was comfortable and inviting. Excellent service. I was in and out in 15 minutes.
Just as good as Aunt Yvette's Ethiopian Kitchen in Eagle Rock, and 100% vegan! This place is so good, and they do a coffee ceremony and have lovely desserts as well.

a charming little place with such sweet service! we ordered the feast plate for 1 (but was enough for two) with sambussas. the injera was realllly good and some of the curries/veg were flavorful but other ones felt slightly bland, but with some chutney and pepper it was better. would definitely recommend this food if feeling sick or down, this is perfect home food with less spices and oil. but the sambussa was the star of the show! it was soooo good and crispy! also the bathroom is cute!
So a huge plus eight away: all is vegan. Not a huge suprise because the name sad so. But my vegetarian combo missed these spicey and very unique Ethiopian flavour. I’m from DC and there I tried more then half of the restaurants so you can trust me. Nice location and friendly service but there is something special in the taste missing.
Pretty nice place. First time we had Ethiopian food and happens to be vegan. The Tibs are pretty nice and also the 11 item feast (nice way to try many small dishes). Some of the items of the feast were a bit boring and others flavorful. The Ethiopian coffee was my favorite item, pleasantly surprised

Fantastic flavors and very fast, accommodating service. Ethiopian food is some of my favorite and it's by far the most delicious kind of vegan food you can get. I got the lunch combo and it filled me up to the brim. Highly recommend the tea as well.
