This place is great! The service is great. The server was attentive and everyone was courteous. The food was really good. We only tried a few items as we got full pretty quick lol. We tried the brisket, spicy bulgogi, and pork belly. The spicy road to Seoul is a bit spicy so careful but it's good. The side dishes are awesome. The kimchi was on point. Overall, If you're in the area I recommend this venue.
Wow. I might need a few days to recover from this meal. I kid you not, the meat portions will make you gasp if you order too many meats at a time. That being said, I’m glad they gave us a lot because that meat was AMAZING. Getting the most expensive option (C) is definitely worth it for that ribeye and marinated beef short rib. I just wish I had a bigger stomach so I could order them again. The sides, brisket, and bulgogi were also very delicious. The staff was very fast with getting us side refills, our meat orders, and drink refills. Someone even came to help us grill our meat when we were eating, how nice! We will definitely come back here soon. Parking is a little tight, as the lot only fits about 5 cars, but if you get lucky like we did, then you’ll be fine. You can also probably get street parking pretty fast too. Excellent experience overall!
Had an amazing experience with James as our server. To be brutally honest our experience almost got shattered with our previous server but James stepped in and gave us an experience that makes you eager to return and enjoy the delicious food and LONG list of meats they have to offer. I’ve come here a few times and always have a great meal with great service.
This is my new favorite KBBQ place! KBBQ is my fave food to go out to eat so I’ve tried a ton of places. Honestly this one has it all for me. The meats are delicious and so many cool options. The service is excellent, they even come help you cook when they see you enjoying your food, they are super attentive and anticipate what you might need. Servers and front desk staff are all super nice. The sides are so good they even have tofu stew which is my fave as well!!! Kimchi was super tasty and my water and my chili sauce was always refilled! Will definitely be back. Oh and parking was super easy there’s a little backlot you can park in.
Henry is top server he’s always making sure you have meat and condiments on your table. Friendly fast amazing highly recommend coming. Coco is a sweetheart and super attentive. I’m a regular and they definitely remember and always make me feel welcomed. By far best Korean BBQ experience in LA!!! Parking is great with valet, food is amazing and delicious. If you want great food, amazing vibes and music and feel welcomed definitely come to Road to Seoul on Western.
Whenever I hit LA which was twice this year, I must hit Korea Town and dine at Seoul. The service is always friendly, someone is always celebrating a birthday...energetic and fun. This last time we were in town for the Michigan/USC game and my friend had never been to LA...he loved it. Road to Seoul always delivers.
I really enjoyed myself at this restaurant. The best part about it was that they have ribeye.Steak, which is my favorite type of steak. It was huge, very thick and it cooked really well.I also tried some shrimp. And they have spicy baby octopus available, which was delicious free parking? That was very easy to find and access. The restaurant is big.It gets busy, but there's plenty of available tables still. Staff was very friendly and very attentive. Multiple servers kept coming around to check on us. Which was very Helpful and i was thankful for that.
5 stars! this Korean BBQ spot nailed it. Grilled up some killer galbi and pork belly right at our table—juicy, smoky, total flavor bomb. The side dishes like kimchi were fresh and endless. Grabbed beers and soju, vibes were chill and fun. Super friendly staff hooked us up with tips. Worth every bite, hitting it again soon! 🔥🇰🇷
I have been going to this place for years back when I used to live in LA. In this visit I took my nephew. Its been years since I was there last and its even better then I remembered. I love the food specially the marinated ribs. So good. All you can eat. So fresh and amazing service. Highly recommended!!!
Location is easy to find but the parking lot is not as easy to find. But once you park to get to the location is easy. Staff were very welcoming. We signed in for our large group. Waiting about 5 - 7 minutes. We were seated. After a few minutes. The staff started to bring out all of the sides and asked for drink orders and which meat we wanted to start with. The meat portions were very generous and the staff were not intrusive but attentive. Checking every 5 to 10 minutes if we wanted more sides or additional meat. We had the dinner option A and we were all very happy with our meal. The spicy beef brisket and beef bulgogi were very flavorful. We also ordered a plain beef brisket, and when we asked for the spicy sauce, our server gave us some. We had 10 orders of meat, plus one extra sides and an order of lettuce, plus all the other sides included, we had more than enough to feed 9 people. I very much recommend this restaurant.
One of my to-go spot with my best friend for years. The line gets very long after 6pm during weekends. Weekdays are way better and cheaper too. (About $27 or so per person during weekday; $32 for weekends - they are the cheapest option, but with enough meat options I think) The service has improved so much last time we visited. The girl who helped us was very helpful and friendly. The meat quality is nice. The only part that I didn’t like was the happy birthday loud music over the whole restaurant so many times a night. It was fun for the first time, but the 3rd time and onwards started to get a bit annoying… weekday visits are better as there are less people and rarely any birthdays. Oh one more thing- the small dishes are amazing! Plenty options and free refill. Love this place to the moon. 🌕 Other than this are all good!
Loved it. A South Korean person recommended me this restaurant and I got my best expectations. The food was amazing. I asked for a Terra Beer too and I loved it. Prices are affordable (all you can eat option A is 30 dollars). The staff was friendly and nice; there are plenty parkjng spots in the outside
If this is your first time bring a friend that knows what they're doing, and be ready for the freshest feast of your life. All the meats we had were perfectly cut and the marinated ones were delicious. The table was ready to go with sides and starters, and our first orders were out in 3 minutes. Arrive with an empty belly!
How have I lived in LA for 20 years and never experienced this place! Festive atmosphere, fantastic service and absolutely delicious food. All you can eat meat from $23 to $32 a person, depending on which deal you do. We did the middle for $25, had a great variety to choose from and left fat and happy. Can't wait to go back!

Came as a party of 10 for a birthday celebration on a Saturday night, and it was overall good! The ambiance was fun, and the meat quality was beyond my expectations. I particularly loved their whole squid and marinated pork belly, both were so delicious. Also, beef short ribs, brisket, bulgogi, and seafood pancakes were all pretty good too. As for the banchan (side dishes), I wish they could provide more sides and sauces for each table, we kept having to ask for more. l also loved their rice paper wraps! Con? We had to tell the staff more than once what we needed. Also, this place needs to improve the ventilation, everything was smoke filled and greasy. Overall, we enjoyed the food! 2 hours limit & each table accepts 3 credit cards max. Would recommend making a reservation ahead.
We had the option A with $29.99 per person before tax. The meat quality is pretty good, and they gave you a lot of meat. They also help you change the grill when it’s burnt. However, some flavors (spicy flavors) do not taste that good, and since they gave a lot of meat, it could be hard to finish them all. Overall, option A is good enough and the quality is not too bad.

To be honest, this was my worst Korean BBQ experience. To start, the table and the floor beneath it were not very clean. The service was inattentive; we constantly had to ask for refills of side dishes and sauces. The quality of the ingredients was frankly below average. No one seemed to be monitoring the grill temperature, as it would get too hot then cool down significantly. Overall, we felt that customers, and especially us, were not particularly welcome. The price turned out to be higher than expected for such poor service. At other places, you can get much better service and food quality for the same price. I always try to be understanding when leaving a review, but this visit left me with no choice but to write this one.
We celebrated our friend’s birthday on New Year’s Eve at Road to Seoul Korean AYCE BBQ Restaurant in Korea town, LA. There were parkings in the back of the restaurant. Self parked. A parking attendant collected a nominal $2.50 parking fee. Typical AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant set up, lively and loud hip hop music. The restaurant looked a bit outdated. Reasonable AYCE pricing in LA. There were three menu tiers to choose from. We selected the middle tier, option B for $36.99 per person. Quality of the meat was good, better than most AYCE Korean BBQ places. We liked the beef galbi, bulgogi, spicy chicken and octopus. Did not care for the lamb steak. The fried pancake was a hit for us. We were not impressed with their banchan (side dishes), especially the japchae. Most Korean restaurants have a lot more banchan to offer. The steamed egg (deflated), whole squid and soft tofu soup (unflavored) need some work. Service was excellent despite how busy the servers were on a long holiday weekend. One of the servers even brought us more warm teas and napkins without us even asking for them. However, we didn’t like the house rules regarding ordering from the menu. We ordered the first round of meat/food and in 10 minutes, we tried to place another order of meat but the waitstaff informed us that we couldn’t place the order until all the meats ordered before were grilled. Also, we were allowed to order only 3 bowls of steamed eggs and 3 bowls of soft tofu soup each round of order. Everything must be ordered in 3’s. Since there were 11 people in our group, many of us had to wait to place our order for additional soup and steamed eggs. We have never experienced this at any AYCE Korean BBQ Restaurants. Also, if you like veggies with your meal, the only veggie they have was the mushrooms. You could order a plate of lettuce to do the traditional wraps but at a cost of about $3.50. We thought lettuce should have been included on the menu like rice bowl. Overall, this was a fun place for a large group and to celebrate birthdays. To set the mood, the restaurant turned off all the lights and switched to the flickering lights with a designated birthday song played overhead and everyone joined in the BD celebration. Waitstaff then brought our friend the birthday treat. A great place to celebrate birthday.

The atmosphere was nice, but the food was just okay. Service was friendly, but it took a while to get our order. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I expected more for the price.

I feel so bad leaving a bad review but I genuinely felt like I had to. The staff were inattentive, and cane off as rude in some occasions. Like I wanted to order lettuce (because the menu stated it had it, and I didnt want the salad with the dressing, i wanted lettuce by itself) and one of the staff members literally just pointed at the salad and didnt say anything. I didnt want the salad though, i just wanted lettuce wraps😭 and i felt dumb and didnt bother further explaining myself. It also felt like me and my partner were forcing them to attend us, there were a lot of misunderstandings and miscommunications. Something that kind of bothered me is that the staff are very soft spoken, and it was really hard to understand them because of the music and the background noise. Also, Im assuming every restaurant is different but from the moment we were seated I noticed a manager/boss (im calling her that because thats the vibe i got from her) constantly looking around and staring at everyone and it almost seemed like she was micromanaging the place. Which of course is fine, but it happened so much I was actually starting to get a little uncomfortable, it felt as if she was micromanaging ME TOO😭 I get she may have wanted everything to go smoothly, but I find it ironic that even with that going on, we still didnt get the bare minimum in services. Also, parking is tricky so because with that, we got lucky and actually found a spot in the restaurants parking lot but i did see street parking in thr nearby neighborhoods. Sorry:/ The food wasnt amazing 😓 we only liked the thinly sliced pork belly and the corn cheese, it was disappointing considering the price of this place.
I’ve been here twice, and unfortunately this visit was a big disappointment. The ventilation was extremely poor — the smoke was abnormally heavy and uncomfortable throughout the meal. When I told the server about the ventilation issue, he hesitated before finally agreeing to move us to another table, which shouldn’t have been necessary given how bad it was. Service was also very inattentive. It was often hard to find a server at all, and the experience felt almost like self-service rather than a full-service BBQ restaurant. As for the food, the beef tongue was especially unpleasant this time — it had a strong gamey smell and tasted off, which made the meal very uncomfortable
