The food is fantastic! It was later when we arrived. We had thought service would be limited, but they opened back up like they were starting the day. Our waitress was funny, suggestive of some wonderful dishes, and taught us some spanish for fun...it was a wonderful experience! When you go, be sure to get the stuffed clams appetizer. The Seafood Balloon was wonderful, as was the Imperial Shrimp! Kudos and "Que Rico!!"

Barriles Grill is a great little local spot if you want a relaxed meal. It is a total hidden gem with a laid-back atmosphere. They have the best salsa in Los Barriles, and the food is consistently good and reliable. The drinks are always served ice cold which is exactly what you want here. The owner, Claudia, is incredibly sweet and really makes you feel welcome. The prices are very reasonable and it is a perfect choice for an easy, affordable dinner. Best Salsa in Town. We tried the grilled Fish Hamburger with fries. The fish is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fries are very tasty. This really is one of the hidden gems in Los Barriles.

What a joy!! We are visiting from British Columbia and friends introduced us to this wonderful oasis off the beaten path. Very accommodating and friendly owner/hostess - Claudia. The food was stellar…mmmm We had the shrimp ceviche, the garlic fish fillet and three of us had the super burro - chicken. We’ve never had such flavourful ceviche! Thank you!!!

To start with... people need to stop confusing this business with Smokey's and leaving bad reviews here. If you had a bad experience with Smokey's, take that up with them. These are two separate restaurants.... Now, as to Barriles grill... The food here is CONSISTENT and consistently good! Service was great. The menu has a lot shrimp and other seafood options. The salad was fresh and crisp...delicious. I love the salsa here. The young lady working speaks very good English and is always pleasant to visit with.

Vegans! Take note this is one of the few restaurants in it's general area that will make you vegan food. We came every night during our stay for the vegan tacos made with sautéed veggies that come with amazing guacamole, pico de gallo and salsa all on the side. This is not on the menu so be specific when you order. And for non-vegans, the shrimp tacos are to die for!

Had a fabulous dinner.I had the equivalent of a gazpacho m, Mexican style, brimming with seafood. Spicy and delicious. My husband had a lovely grilled trigger fish, with rice and salad sides. Service by owner, Claudia was so very welcoming and friendly.She speaks excellent English for those of us lacking in Spanish. Across from Smokey’s. Delicious Margarita. Eat here!

My favorite place in town. The margs are world class (if not the best there is), the food is good, they have mostly every sport you want to watch and the owner, Chris, is a great guy. Fantastic happy hour deals and the staff is great. I go here almost every day when I'm in town. Shout out to Noe and the rest of the staff who work so hard and provide a great atmosphere.

Excellent experience! They picked up my fish at the dock. Took it right away to smokehouse. Boy were we happy to see how beautiful it was upon pick up. Smoked a few tuna, flash froze wahoo and tuna. It all came in beautiful size packs for maybe 2 or 3 people. Packed right in airline approved box that keeps it frozen for 24 hours. Great, friendly service! Thank you!

While vacationing in Mexico, we stopped in for some lunch at Smokey's. We were a little early for the lunch crowd, so it wasn't too busy yet. The hospitality we received felt like we were royalty. We were directed to a table that "had the nicest breeze" and a few minutes later, two men came with a very large-screen TV and set it up beside us! The waitress was so kind and the food was excellent. Each of us (3) ordered a different plate and everyone was very happy with the freshness and great taste of the food.

Un lugar donde siempre hay mucha gente, ante todo americanos por tanto sus precios no son tan bajos pero los platillos son bastante grandes y bastante buenos! Solo tuve un pequeño contratiempo con una de las chicas que atienden, ya que cuando llegue escogi una mesa y ella me dijo que si llegaba mas gente me iba a tener que parar!! le comento que eso parecería queme estaba corriendo ya que yo escogi esa mesa y como me iba a parar a media comida!? creo entendido que no se dirigio con las palabras correctas ya que posterior a eso estuvo muy al pendiente si requeriamos algo mas. En general esta muy bien y con hambiente gabacho. Tiene pantallas para ver los eventos deportivos.

Pásatela bien con tus amigos. Disfruta sus platillos frescos y suculentos !! Pide una bebida refrescante y goza del sabor de playa en Los Barriles , BCS.

Food is solid and staff is friendly. We had great drinks and a great meal. Prices don’t reflect the establishment though. We paid over $30/person USD for dinner + a few drinks. Waitress thought our cash was a tip so we inadvertently ended up tipping over 30% on a high-priced meal. Cannot complain but the pricing is very high end when the establishment is not. It’s a local expat stop/casual place. Would go again but would be much more contentious about what is ordered and what it costs next time.

Good, but not as good as it used to be. I was hoping to give this 5 stars but after the last visit I got to give it 3 stars as the tuna was over smoked just a little too dry. they used to have this block of perfectly smoked tuna that they laid on a salad bed that was just pure heaven. it sort of seems that this place has become more of a drinking place than an eating place as you can get pretty rowdy in here and that's great.

Entiendo que es un lugar turístico y la mayoría de los que van son extranjeros pero no son los únicos comensales, los platillos "mexicanos" que tienen no son para nada como los originales.

Caro. Cocina buena pero sin costo/beneficio. Se habla de sus tragos pero no hay carta de bebidas, solo es un invento. No hay cocina local, solo un intento de mezcla americanizada mal lograda. No lo recomiendo.
