I am not sure what that guy above was talking about. (Must be missing Round Table.) This pizza is amazing. The crust has the perfect “chew”. I can’t see myself NOT coming back. Don’t believe me or the Round Table guy. Go try it yourself…
Great little Italian place. The eggplant parmesan and chicken parm are quite good and my choices all the times. Diana may wait on you and if not too busy is a lovely lady
Great food, reasonably priced, with amazing service. If you're looking for a good Italian restaurant or an amazing pizza with fresh ingredients, this is the place.
Delicious, delicious delicious!!! We love this place Excellent crew and service You can feel that food is made from the bottom of the heart. We absolutely in love ♥️
My review is regarding the aroma from Jimmy's which was deliciously intoxicating and created feelings if not only regret but of anger for not knowing Jimmy's was there next to the sadly inadaquent ramen restaurant we unfortunately were suffering at. The 5 stars is for the lovely savory herbs wafting over making the poorly concepted ramen served to us wretched and inedible.
The food and service in this neighborhood restaurant is outstanding. The menu has a large selection that will meet the appetite of everyone at your table.
Excellent pizza. Great prices. Prompt service. Next time we'll try the desserts, the look amazing!!
Excellent oh soooo good. Best Italian food ever.
Excellent family-run restaurant in Los Osos. Food was authentic and deliciously crafted. Must try their special gravy which is unforgettably tasty and healthy.
Great food and service! Pizza was delicious along with the pasta. Highly recommend! 5 stars all day!! Thank you.
Always love coming in for the great service, excellent food and nice, relaxed environment.
Had Dinner here for my son with about 14 people after he graduated from CalPoly SLO. Loved the food and loved the atmosphere even more! Thanks so much Jimmy!!
Jimmy Bumps has closed it's doors for good. However, a new restaurant, Hazzards, has taken its place. Here is their web address: eatathazards.com . Closed on Tuesdays .
Best pizza ever. I've never been dissapointed in this restaurant. My friends drive from paso to eat here.
The artichoke Piccata was wonderful and the Pizza is also are favorite in Los Osos. Staff was super kind and made off menu cheesy bread for our 10 month old son. We will definitely be going there more often.
First time there. Excellent food and the service was quick and friendly for my take out order. Would go there again in a heart beat. Really nice location with a 3 restaurant little triangle there. Very nice
1st time at Hazzards. Everything was delicious! The service was great! Will definitely be back!
Quality italian cuisine that rivals small Italy! I was there in this sleepy old Town and we came across this italian bistro, we ordered pesto spaghetti, Sunday gravy fettuccine, minestrone soup and fried cheese sticks, all with beverages only cost $40. But this restaurant provides far more value then fine diners and taste better. The minestrone soup we had a balance of taste of not exceedingly salty while all veggies are sufficiently cooked just to taste good. As their name suggested, spaghettis are their strength, and the Sunday gravy is a must try, looks like tomate with meat only, but far more then that. When you taste the sauce you can feel the herbs that came from the meat, not so much that it overtake the whole disc, able to keep it to the meat only, fettuccine is well cooked and had a light taste of olive, taste of all of them are in perfect balance, plus is hot enough so u will feel good. Never expect so much from such a humble restaurant!
Wonderful! Consistently delicious main course, veggies, and desserts. Personally, I am picky about veggies but never hesitate to order them for a side choice. Staff is delightful! Would highly recommend the drive to Los Osos.... Definitely worth it!
Had an wonderful experience for my birthday. Waiter was lovely and all the dishes were top notch. Love the ambiance and is such an upgrade from Jimmy Bumps the previous restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful food. Pasta is always perfect. Everything is so delicious. This is our favorite Italian restaurant. Staff is so nice and attentive. Love this place
I'm pretty sure the food, decor, and much of the staff are exactly the same as the old Jimmy Bumps! The cheesecake slice might be a tiny bit smaller, but now's as good a time as any to cut back on cake consumption.
Great local family style Italian restaurant
Jimmy Bump's is probably the best restaurant in Los Osos. It's good family style Italian American food. Prices are reasonable the customer service is always great and I've never had a bad meal here.
Traditional Family Italian restaurant. If you are from New York City or San Francisco, you will remember what you have been missing all these years. Food is almost as good as your old family restaurant maybe better and it doesn't have the families yelling because it is too small. Leave Olive Garden for the populist and keep Jimmy Bump a secret for my sake hahaha. Seriously I want to see a line and a "must have" reservation for Jimmy Bump's.
Jimmy Bumps is one of our favorites, we come at least once a quarter if not more and our family likes to come when they visit! Yummy! I like the put tase a with shrimp as well as the anti pasta misto a great salad to share r a good entree. Ed almost always has a calzone or pasta fazool and a glass of Ciante.
We have loved every single meal for years at Jimmy Bumps ! There are fantastic specials every night but we especially enjoy the chicken marsala and canneloni too! The service is great and Jim is the perfect chef and host!
THIS is pizza. So incredibly delicious. If you are a pesto lover, the Pesto Peak is a must. We added mushrooms. And the local family that runs it are great peeps!
Just had their chicken marsala specialty meal w/veges and it was amazing! Gonna try it with pasta next time to switch it up. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a subtle environment to relax and enjoy an Italian delight! -TheB4G3L
Excellent food! We stumbled on this place after visiting Montana de Oro and OMG I wish we lived here to come more often! Literally everything we ordered was scrumptious (bolognese, pizza, butternut squash ravioli, tiramisu, chocolate pudding)! We all wanted to lick our plates lol
Their pizzas are to die for. The new owners and staff are so kind and welcoming. The interior looks amazing and I’m so happy with how things turned out! The vibe of the place is really great for any type of outing. I really recommend going here if you want some good local hip pizza and pasta!
We had a fabulous dinner last night with friends. We shared everything family style. Best artichoke appetizer. Killer garlic bread, delicious meatballs, great mozzarella sticks and lovely Ceasar. The manicotti was a hit, the pizza was amazing, the crust was perfect, not to thick or thin. The spaghetti with local Cayucos sausage was tasty and the ragu had so many yummy mushrooms. The service was top notch! We felt right at home ❤️ Thank you for a wonderful evening. See you all sooner than later.
Seriously some of the best eggplant parmesean I've ever had. Plus the pasta putanesca is amazing too! I definitely recommend getting a side of calabrian chili's to mix in. So good! Also had the chance to try a special dessert and the night I came in it was a lemon mousse cake. I wish I had the recipe it's so fricken good.
After Jimmy Bumps left I was very skeptical that anyone who took over would stand any chance in lasting at that location. After all, Ol Bump was there for many years, and I even remember Bump scooping out the green part from the spumoni ice cream for me as a child. With all of that being said, I am overjoyed to say that I am beyond impressed with what’s going on in and around that kitchen. From the tasteful colors, warm and welcoming ambience, and extremely friendly staff.. to the hand baked goods welcoming you upon entering, I am confident I have found my new go to spot. Food was phenomenal, and after reading the extremely heartwarming newspaper clipping Oh So Proudly hung on the wall.. the owner of this amazing new gem has won over this Los Osos native. Looking forward to seeing (and eating) everything new to come from Hazards.
Went to dinner at Hazards tonight and was so happy with our meal! I got the butternut squash raviolis and it was incredible, we also got the Pesto Peak Pizza and it was delicious! The staff was super friendly! I highly recommend dinner at Hazards!
From the friendly Wait-staff to the Chef, this place is the best dining in the County. The entire menu is high quality flavor town and the Friday night special of Linguine, shrimp and bay scallops keeps me coming back often.
Road tripping from Oregon and found this gem! If you're ever headed south off hwy 1 in Los Osos this is a must stop for delicious Pizza and Pasta! Also, the best tiramisu I've ever had! Heirloom cherry tomatoe margherita pizza is phenomenal!! The staff is so friendly and kind! Meet the chef she's awesome!!
The new Face-lift to the Menu and the Restaurant it's self is Great. The Food is Good as always If not better. The Staff is very Friendly I tried The Kook Pizza it was great Best pizza in Town. Don't forget to Try the Meatballs Delicious. The Honey Lavender Cupcakes for Dessert. You can't go wrong.
Small cozy place with great Italian food!! Appetizers, soup, pizza, Calozone, all awesome!!! great service, A must try
Really authentic, cozy atmosphere home feel service. The linguine with scallop and shrimps in cream sauce were outstanding. The calzones were ok, if you like the ricotta, mozzarella blend. We had the sausage and olive one and asked to add artichoke hearts, which they did. Pizzas and salads looked really good too. We will go there again.
The food was totally Awesome😋 Puttanesca with sausage and linguini, and the same with spaghetti, salad with anchovies and bread and butter. This place had people coming and going one after another!!! Diana was Absolutely great with keeping the customers and their orders taken care of and safe with all the things to do with this pandemic going on. This was the best Italian food I've had and the service was excellent thanks to Diana. My compliments to the Chef also 😋. I highly recommend this place !!! Prices are very, very reasonable also and huge portions too. Thanks again to Diana, the Chef and anyone else that's running this establishment.
Their calzones are the best in the county. Not to mention their pastas are top notch. I would recomend 10/10
I go here about weekly and get dinner to take home for my wife and I. For a little restaurant in a small town this place is just great. Real food prepared by people who take pride in their work. The servers, in my experience, are friendly, capable and attentive. What more could you ask for?
Sarah and her team set up their beautiful restaurant for us with string lights and flowers and they served us with the best food on our little event! Sarah is a lovely and kind person and an even more amazing chef and her staff is so warm and lovely. The food is real Italian Italian and so unbelievably delicious. Go and try the squash ravioli asap!!!!!!!
We loved our date night to - go! The surf rat pizza was SO good - and the side order of meatballs was really good as well. Topped it off with a super tasty tiramisu loved it. The staff was really friendly and helpful as well.
We were hesitant to try bc of the bad review but so glad we didn’t listen to that person. Our server Melissa was funny/witty and did a great job. Reminded my partner and I of a great home cooked meal, with the ambiance being homey as well. Highly highly recommend this spot and suggest you try the meatball calzone and carrot cake!
Great place to grab a bite to eat after a long hike, or anything came in with dirty legs, sunburnt and hungry on whim, and was pleasantly surprised to find some of the the best pizza, crème brûlée, tiramisu and freshest beer in the county. You’ll be thankful if you get Emily and Malia, as your serving staff.
This was honestly one of the best meals we've had in ages. Dinner was exquisite, and the desserts were amazing, not to mention filling. The staff was friendly and warm, offering input when asked about a few items on the menu, and took our tastes into consideration. I can't say enough about this gem of a restaurant, and will be returning on our next trip to Los Osos.
Loved everything about this place, and especially the food. Best calzone I'd ever had. Desserts are amazing. What a cool place with amazing food...too bad we only had 1 day to enjoy it, would've gone back if we could
Just had a delicious meal with my partner. Gluten free was super tasty and our young server was kind, professional, and very attentive. Would 100% recommend this place for the flavor and quality service!
This place is so yummy. It's consistent, it's delicious, the food is always piping-hot. Their cannelloni is out of this world. Everything we've tried is excellent. I am so glad we have this restaurant in our little town. Edited to reflect that this review was for the original restaurant, Jimmy Bumps. I do not care for this iteration and will drive to Jimmy Ds Spaghetti Joint in Grover Beach to get the food I miss. I know I’m in the minority, but I am not impressed with this restaurant at all. They seem to have changed the recipes, even though I had seen Jimmy training them on his dishes. Lemon juice does not belong in pesto.
Quaint small eatery in Los Osos, CA. I ordered the Pasta Puttanesca, it was spicy and delicious. Excellent service, definitely worth going back to try some of their other menu items.
We stop here every time we are in the area. Some of the best Italian food anywhere! Very reasonably priced. Service is fantastic. They serve excellent Italian dishes as well as top notch pizzas. Pictured is our bill which includes 4 entrees, 4 sides (3 soups, 1 salad), 1 dessert and 1 corkage fee. The dish was their special, a short rib cannelloni what was out of this world.
I've ordered the meatball calzone and various pizzas. Place my online orders on their website. I order at 4:20, before they even open. And it is scheduled to be ready at 5:15-5:20. Always ready when we arrived for pick-up. And it is delicious!! My hubby especially loves the pizza and was thrilled when we first ate here. I love the meatball calzone. Not large meatballs but small tasty pieces of meat with a nice chewy crust. And the sauce is the real winner, for me. It's light, loose and flavorful, not like some places, with thick sauce that basically tastes like seasoned tomato paste. If it helps it is similar to to Pizza Port in Morro Bay, because of their thin chewy crust and loose(?) sauce. I'm not sure how to describe the consistency. We find Hazards to be of similar style. They're our favorite Italian food "go-to" in Los Osos, hands down. Reviews say the dining room has slow service. I've never eaten inside but it's cute and quaint, with friendly service, and maybe 7-10 tables? I've always taken my food home but wouldn't hesitate to eat on site. Hazards has yummy food with many options!! Give 'em a try!!
So happy we decided to come to Hazards for dinner. We loved the comfy feel of this restaurant. Our server was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the garlic focaccia bread that was served after we sat down. The lasagne was absolutely delicious! It was one of the best lasagnes we ever had. We also enjoyed the manicotti and the BBQ chicken pizza. We loved this restaurant and will definitely be back. Thank you, Hazards!
My husband and I wanted pizza and a cold beer after hiking Valencia Peak nearby. We were covered head to toe and dirt and sweat from the beautiful hike so when we walked in, we thought maybe we were a little out of place. Hazards is a super cute with a cozy ambience, and the aroma in the air was extremely inviting so we were very pleased when the hostess told us that there is no such thing as being underdressed hazards. The beer was perfectly cold and I was impressed that our waitress brought us water because she overheard us telling the waitress. We had just finished hiking.. The menu selection was not overwhelming with choices, however, due to our picky taste buds we were looking for a very particular kind of pizza which they were happy to accommodate, and our large chicken, pepperoni, pineapple, purple, onion, garlic, cilantro, and light barbecue drizzle was absolutely the best pizza I have had in a very long time!!! The food was great and the service was even better. The small town, personable and friendly serving staff was awesome, the chef complemented our choice in pizza and “ not yet 21-year-old“ server, who was seemingly working in a supportive role to the servers, was open to suggestion and seemed eager to learn. Oh no, I highly suggest stopping in it hazards… but Dusseau with caution as I hear the place is haunted!
Best pizza in Osos. Also 3 star Jacob is hilarious. First of all, learn how park? Call ahead of time or Cook for your whiney kids instead then. dont take it out on a local restaurant who kill it and are giving their best with 3 stars bc you need things faster
It is limiting to describe the experience of Hazards with only 5 stars. The food is both wonderfully crafted and exquisitely presented. The quality of the ingredients is apparent with every bite. The photos say it all! Customer service was great and the atmosphere was refreshing. There is an entire menu of amazing options to explore and we look forward to it in the future!
If you come here, you will never leave.. This was a pleasant experience on day 7 of a 9 day trip down 101. My girlfriend and I ordered margarita pizza with heirloom tomatoes, Cesar salad. That alone made our trip and she said that she was so happy that we had picked this place and that we needed to come back. I was thinking to myself, that I had had good fortune with my restaurant selection (thank you Google Maps). The chef/owner came and checked on us. She was friendly and asked us how our experience was and seemed to genuinely appreciate our feedback. I noticed that it didn't seem like there was any one else back there (sorry if there was, we appreciate you too) and then it dawned on me that she had cooked everything her self. As I saw her walking back to the kitchen I then started to ask myself, how was any of this possible? Then came the dessert. My girlfriend knowing my fondness for all things chocolate then chose the tiramisu. I remember having exceptional quality tiramisu in my previous life, but nothing else could have prepared me for the creamy mascarpone, wrapped in lady fingers with rich chocolate, raspberries and marion berries on the side. Normally my girlfriend will have a taste of the stuff but in this case I was lucky to taste it myself. She seemed to be making noises straight out of a Meg Ryan movie. By the time the check came we noticed that the total was beyond reasonable. My girlfriend then informed me that we are now going to live here. And that is what happens when you drive from Portland to Los Osos on a Thursday looking for Italian...
The caprese salad and the pesto peak pizza. Both were fantastic. Will absolutely be going back to eat here again!
Best Italian food in the whole county. Fried ravioli appetizer just wonderful. Had the Manicotti in a homemade pasta, to die for. A must place to eat (if you love real Italian food)

We were looking for a classic Italian spot since the kids aren’t big on seafood and this place popped up. This place serves delicious classics. If you aren’t in a hurry and want a relaxing evening out I would recommend this place. I’ll be back next time in town to try the other sauces!
Everything was delicious! We had the butternut squash ravioli, lasagna and prosciutto & peach pizza. Will definitely be back!
Tonight we met Sarah. We’ve been coming here for 3 years during our seasonal visits. Each time we’ve appreciated the delicious food, the lively local vibe. We’ve heard about Sarah the owner over the years through the servers. Tonight we met her. She checked in regularly and then she let us know she was acting as server tonight because 2 other team members were unable to be there for good reasons. That says it all. So much care for the food and the experience. Thank you! PS. I never write reviews but felt compelled after our dining experience this evening.
Hazards has a super cute and relaxed feel with lovely local touches. The food is delicious! Noticeably fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. I had a larger group so I was able try a variety of items from pizza, pasta and salad too. Can't wait to go back!
Hazards is a hidden gem of Los Osos. We did not expect to get authentic Italian food the first time we gave it a try -- but the food was terrific and we've come back dozens of times since them. Great veg options too and just a really great family-run atmosphere. Try to call ahead if you can!

I had good old spaghetti with meat sauce (Sunday gravy). It was good. The minestrone soup was very good. The server was efficient and nice. Prices are reasonable.
Food is very good! Kudos to the chef! Service could have been better. Server with poor disposition. Wine selection was very minimal the evening we were there. Will go back.
The calzones are amazing! And the waitress Diane makes the experience. You can't get anything bad here and the atmosphere is like a neighborhood family spot that is instantly comfortable
Tasty food! I had the linguine alfredo and added shrimp. Delicious! Portions could be bigger and bread should be abundant.
The Bolognese and lasagna are great! Minestrone was ok. Same with the pesto just ok. Prefer my pesto a lot stronger. Prices are reasonable for a every so often visit.
Was so pleasantly surprised! We had stopped getting Bumps a while back, just wasn't that good. Hazards though is great! Sauce is improved and the pizza crust I tops. We' like be back again soon
I have eaten there several times. They have good food and good service. I am more attached to my home Italian cooking , but if you like eating Italian food out, I highly recommend this restaurant. The owner is a very nice person also.
The food was good. The atmosphere was homey Italian. Average priced meals. Loved the little hostess so cute and friendly. The waitress was a little controlling of the other staff and a tad overbearing. But overall good service.
Quaint cozy little place with nine tables. Garlic bread was very good, light and flavorful. Main course portions we're just the right size and very delicious. The kids ordered pizzas and the enjoyed them very much. The desert cannolli was just okay, so maybe try the cheesecake.
A food was very good. Something definitely different. I've been eating on the Central Coast for years and had not tried this place. Don't know how new it is. Definitely, we'll be back. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Thanks again, guys.

Hazard's has very good food. The butternut squash ravioli is delicious, as are the garlic knots, which may not be on the menu. The food does take quite a while, they will tell you they have a small kitchen. If it is busy, know that the food could take an hour or more. My hubby and I got takeout to take back to our hotel recently, we were told the food would be ready 45 minutes after we ordered it, and I had to wait another 15 minutes when we arrived. The decor does look great and I think they are doing their best.

I would love to give Jimmy Bumps 5 stars but I feel I would be misleading. The food is consistently good but not exceptional compared to other Italian restaurants in the county; however, it's excellent if you want to stay in the Los Osos/Morro Bay area. The service we have experienced each time is very borderline. The lead waitress/hostess can come off as though she's doing you a favor to wait on you, even to regular customers. She presents with a certain tone of indifference much of the time, and that type of reception is very off putting to the customers. I will say that the restaurant looks to be hiring more help. I hope the new staff bring a less abrupt vibe to the customers. One suggestion, if you like eggplant, order the eggplant parm. It's delicious!
Very good pasta dishes however when I found a whole bay leaf in my sauce and told the server about it oh, she said the cook just Shrugged his shoulders. a Bailey's can choke you to death and should never be left in the meal.
Nice people and glad they're here, have eaten here a few times now. Food is okay, but opening another pizza place seems kinda silly. They don't even have the best pizza in their own shopping center. Pizza dough is bland and chewy but perfectly cooked and quality toppings. Their salads and appetizers are pretty good, though the cooks seem to be heavy handed on salt and oil. I'm glad we have another food option in Osos, but I can't see myself coming here often. I look forward to trying their lasagna and hope the cooks have calmed down on the salt
While the name change seems strange, it is fitting as continuing to eat here has become itself quite a hazard. The food is decent here and while not exceptional, pretty consistent. Unfortunately they haven’t learned time management and the last three times we’ve ordered take out they’ve been up to a full hour longer than expected/reported which is hard to swallow when you’re hungry and have little ones screaming for dinner. The last time we attempted to eat in here, we had a similar experience where we were waiting on overly long time and quite a bit longer than the expected/reported wait. During this time, my father in law had accidentally parked in two spots. This wasn’t ideal, as the parking is limited anyways and I’m not trying to defend him doing it, however, the owner came out and gave him a hard time and was super rude about it and then gave him an audible slap on the back in a patting gesture. Totally rude and uncalled for and the last time we went here. Truth in advertising folks, it’s all in the name.
I was raised in an Italian family and my mother and grandmother were both fantastic cooks so I am kind of picky about Italian food. But I have never been disappointed with the food at Jimmy Bumps. Their food is authentic Italian and the sauces aren't too heavy... try the clam linguine with red sauce or the butternut squash ravioli with butter sage sauce. You will be back for more. July 2021: I loved this place but ownership has changed. They served linguini with fresh clams-my favorite for 10 years. It’s no longer on the menu!!??? I’m not getting an explanation from Jimmy and the new staff are useless. I’m rethinking my relationship with this old favorite eating place. I’m taking a star off my previous rating
I’ve been to this spot three times over the past few months, and here’s what I’ve come up with so far: Let’s start with the good: Ragu Pasta This was really good. Everything from the seasoning to the Italian sausage was on point, and the pasta was cooked to a nice al dente. Definitely something I could order again and again. Mango Cheesecake Exactly what you’d expect—sweet, creamy, and full of mango flavor. A solid dessert option. Chocolate Cake (top shelf, middle) Not sure of the exact name, but it was rich and tasty. Another win on the dessert menu. Side Salad Taste fresh, and it was good! Now, the not-so-great: Benny’s Pizza The toppings were decent, but there was just too much oil. While the outer crust had a good crunch, the rest of it was soggy. Not something I’d order again—overall, just okay. Short Rib Ragu This was a big miss. It lacked flavor, the pasta was undercooked, and I honestly don’t understand why it’s even called a “ragu.” It felt disconnected from the dish I expected. Wouldn’t recommend. Olive Oil Cake Not a fan. It was really dry—almost like dried-out cornmeal—with whipped cream and some other topping that didn’t help much. Couldn’t taste any olive oil either. Other Notes: Service Always friendly and welcoming. Definitely a bright spot of the experience. Takeout Just a heads up: if you’re ordering to-go, expect a wait. Every time I’ve ordered, it’s taken around 40–45 minutes. All in all: A nice little spot to check out if you’re in town. The vibe is good, the service is great, and while the food has its hits and misses, there’s still more on the menu I’d like to try.

Cute small restaurant, food is good and prices are pretty understanding but the service here is not so great. Food takes long to come out… they gave us a few slivers of like the crust bread and we asked for more they had forgotten. Servers weren’t personal, and didn’t really try to make a connection. Few people who even work there!
I had the butternut squash ravioli in basil cream sauce. It should have been delicious, but they were drowning in Parmesan cheese. I have high blood pressure, and thought they were trying to kill me with all the salt.

First time coming across this place as I'm somewhat new to the area. I was really happy to discover an Italian restaurant in the neighborhood and grabbed some take out, however, my first experience was underwhelming. The breaded ravioli was decent but didn't seem very fresh, probably just microwaved. The pasta was a bit disappointing. It's hard to go wrong with pasta with oil and garlic but this one was bland and not at all tasty. The vegetable mix didn't go well together, maybe because of the overall bland taste and the fact that the dish was cold. The portion was also super small for the price and what it was. The bread was good, so there's that. I thought as I ate it might be a place I would try again, but then my stomach started feeling upset and I had to stop eating my meal. Now it's an hour later and I'm left super hungry. Money down the drain and on top of that I'll have to cook my own meal afterall.
I want to start off by saying the staff was great. Also, I wouldn't have made a review if it wasn't for the response they had on another bad review. The food was really disappointing. The fettuccine was WAY to thick and didn't have a lot of flavor. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The sauce on my wife's spaghetti was almost sweet for some reason and the meatballs tasted like dry meatloaf. The terra massu looked great but also was just kinda meh. The bread that was served seemed Tobe grocery store bread. My son's pizza was decent but nothing to write home about. The crust was really good. Also, huge pet peeve but they serve soda in cans. If it wasn't for the pizza I would give it one star. Felt like I got duped.
Simply The Best Pizza On The Central Coast, crust executed with perfection! Well portioned ingredients, each dish is absolutely full of flavor! SADLY SECOND VISIT WAS ATROCIOUS Take out, Onion skins and three hairs on the large pie, Unacceptable! Completely Different Crust aswell almost As if it were made by a disgruntled employee.
Worst experience ever. First and only ones in the restaurant for at least 20 minutes. They forgot our salad orders and one entree. They seemed more focused on the take out orders. The entire operation of the restaurant was poor. If you enjoy poor service and incompetent staff this is the place for you.
We ordered a pizza online, and were not informed the pizza would take an hour to bake until after I paid online. I would not have ordered it had I known it would take so long.
I moved to Los Osos about 9 months ago and have eaten and gotten takeout at least 10 times here. While the food is absolutely fantastic and delicious, the service is absolutely awful. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It doesn’t matter if it’s dine-in or takeout. The staff are either rude, in-attentive, or sometimes just straight up disappear. I’ve had servers consistently forget items, bring wrong items, go on break mid-meal with no service, or just straight up disappear after dropping off the bill. Leaving me waiting or going to the bar to pay. When ordering take-out. If you order through DoorDash you can get your food in ~30-45 mins. If you order through their website it’s an hour plus, and if you show up 10 mins early the staff makes snide comments about it not being ready. Like way to incentivize ordering through DoorDash and losing revenue that could have gone straight to the business. I think I’m done spending my money here. While the food is great, it’s not good enough to put up with the awful staff.
Great food, friendly folks, Bada Bing! This review was for Jimmy Bumps. Now that there's new owners we all don't know how the food will be, so I cant rate it yet.
I’ve been here pre-Covid and the food was good when dining in, however the past two times that I ordered take out the food was sub par, most recently the chicken Parmesan I ordered. The vegetables tasted like they were frozen and I could barely cut through the chicken. It didn’t seem fully cooked. I ended up throwing it out after two bites and remained hungry. The time prior, the calzone was too doughy and the ice tea was poured from a store bought bottle vs. fresh brewed. ☹️ It seemed like such a quaint little place when I first came here, but now, I doubt I will go back.
Waited for over 45 minutes for a standard pizza no body here
Nice small quaint Italian restaurant. Calzone, Alfredo and Margarita Pizza were good. Updated 2/25. The worst experience. Forgot our orders and when I asked the pat answer was 5 minutes for each missing item ordered. The entire staff was focused on the to go orders NOT the only people sitting in the restaurant. THIS RESTAURANT IS A HAZARD
My last review for this place was altered by someone without my knowledge. The food here is very bad. The honest reviews somehow have either been altered or deleted by the owners. The one thing I count on is honesty when doing business or in the answers to my questions. When I asked the waitress about an Item on the menu, she lied to me saying "this is so good I order it to take home with me when I leave work!". The food is slop! All the mushrooms were caned , not fresh and the pasta sauce was without taste. Not only was my dinner bad, so was that of my wife. Chicken was dried out and without taste. I wrote an honest review right away and they removed it and put a 5 star review in its place! These dishonest people should be out of business not only for caned slop they try to pass off as food, but changing the honest reviews people write for false ones. I had to report the altered review to google. All the positive reviews this place has are not real. All negative reviews have either been removed or altered/
