Last night we ordered applebees & it was absolutely disgusting & a complete waste of $128. This evening I was hesitant about ordering out again & spent about a $100 for Texas Roadhouse. The service was great, the food was delicious, it cost less & the portions were huge. This isnt my first time eating here but after last night's applebees experience I had to give a review on this positive take out experience.

Was disappointed in my steak. Had to send it back and the replacement had charred edges, and it was just not hitting tonight. Bread was amazing as was the snake bits.

Cami (Camila) was an amazing server/waitress she was fast and attentive at all times even being slammed she was very accommodating and sweet absolutely love her. Victor was amazing as well he was very accommodating with the stake that were over cooked he understood and even offered to exchange our sides. 10/10 service

It was very busy but we checked in from the app and were seated in a very reasonable amount of time. We were sat in the bartender’s section and she was still very attentive with some help. She forgot to ring in my daughter’s order but as soon as she realized she went to the kitchen and put a rush on it and was apologetic. Overall great service and great food. Exactly what we have come to expect from Texas Roadhouse.

I do enjoy the food at Texas Roadhouse. Today we treated ourselves to their loaded fries with our bacon cheeseburgers, and it was delicious! The steak fries are covered in melted cheddar cheese and bacon bits, and they tasted so good that I wanted to lick the plate! We were seated quickly despite it being a holiday. However, for parties of more than 2, I recommend that you use their call ahead seating option: call before you get there, and they add you to the waiting list.

Over priced and under underexceed any expectations i had thought who sevres kraft mac and chzz at a steak house it was really dry the loaded mash was room temperature cheese didnt even melt the steak was exceptionally good the waitress was very accommodating and the rolls were good but very disappointing a three star rating may stll be too much on my part but im trying to be fair Went back a year later and was excited to see they made some changes the Mac and cheese was delicious this time still a little pricey but it’s a steak restaurant and I love steak haha and everything else was on point

Food and drinks are always excellent. This time we were seated in the bar area and had to remind the bar staff to bring our salads twice.

This is a brand new Texas Roadhouse in Lubbock Texas! We came in around 4:30 and caught the early bird special. 10.99 for multiple plates is awesome! You can choose from sirloin steak, country fried steak, chicken, etc. Always love the rolls and the salads here! The food is always hot and ready to eat as you've asked for it to be prepped. Atmosphere is typical for Texas Roadhouse. It is a dark atmosphere but lively! The wait staff was prompt and food was served hot and beautifully. Definitely recommend this venue!

We have visited Texas roadhouse at least half a dozen times after they moved into their new facility, And honestly every time was pretty disappointing, bad food and service. This evening we came in with our son and daughter in law and their little one, and things were totally different this time around. Our wait time was 20 minutes on a Tuesday evening about 730. We were seated in a pretty busy area, Jimmie was our waiter and absolutely knocked it out of the park!! He was spot on with everything, timely service, attention and attitude. Food was great, from the rolls to the 20oz ribeye. Overall, outstanding experience!

Very good food here! Chicken fried steak is huge and delicious. The burgers are a good size patty and salads can never go wrong. Service is excellent. Rolls are served as you are seated. We waited about 30 minutes arrived about 630pm. Next time I will have a cocktail see how those are! Thanks for the great service and atmosphere.

Stopped in about 1600hrs on Sunday 6 February 2022 and they were busy as one would expect. Only took about 10 minutes to get a booth, the hostess was nice and everyone was welcoming. Our waitress was great took good care of us, everything from the drinks and appetizer to our meals was good to go. The waitress we had in Odessa last week could use some lessons from the waitress that took care of us on this visit.

Our first time visit here and really enjoyed the food! Our boys suggested the place and we all absolutely loved the taste and quality of the food! Glad that we made the online reservation and when we showed up, it didn’t take even a minute for us to wait and we were given the table. I know it’s weekend and there’s a long queue waiting to be seated! Try making online reservation and save time. We will definitely visit again and would recommend to others too!

The new location is far better than the older location. Wait times can get long on Thursday-Saturday evenings so definitely plan ahead. My porterhouse steak was great and so was the rest of the food. It can get a little loud with so many people but it's not terrible.

One of our favorites!!! Our go to place for steak and never had an issue. Always the best! Don’t miss their free dinner rolls, it is also mouth watering! Whatever I order is always superb! Yum!!!!! Just be prepared to have a fully charged phone and be busy with your phone for a long wait time. They also have free bag of nuts to keep you busy😂

Texas Roadhouse in Lubbock is always our go to favorite and did not disappoint! Not an empty table in sight but the wait was not long and food was delicious as always!

The food was good, but the service truly stood out! Gianna was incredibly attentive, kind, and welcoming throughout our visit. She created such a warm and positive experience for me and my little family! She definitely deserves a raise! I would absolutely come back and ask to sit in her section again. We’ve been to Texas Roadhouse several times before, but this visit had the best service we’ve ever received. Gianna is truly excellent at what she does!

I took my girlfriend there for Valentine's day. We reserved a table early to minimize the wait. I can't believe we waited at all with how fast the food came! The salad was there before we finished the first round of those famous roles and the steaks were there shortly after. The place was absolutely packed so getting our food that fast says something about the efficiency of this place. Our waitress was just as good. She balanced the "checking on us" and just letting us enjoy our meals perfectly. Even the manager on duty came and met us because we told the hostess we haven't been to one in awhile and he wanted to thank us for coming.

We went on Valentine’s Day at 8pm I don’t think I have ever seen a business run so efficiently. It was perfection we joined the waitlist around 4pm knowing there would be a wait. Quoted 3 hours and it was spot on. Our service was amazing everything was correct, hot, and delicious. I wouldn’t have changed anything.

The steak was cooked to perfection! Busy atmosphere with a staff paying acute attention to details. The food was fresh and hot! Do yourself a favor and grab a Ft. WORTH Ribeye!

We went on the Thursday before Valentine's Day and only had a 5 minute wait. Great job. Service was fantastic. Food was good, hoping for fantastic but they were busy.

Great service. I know when I come here I get good service with good food to accommodate it. But this time it was phenomenal service. Our server was Riley. It is my birthday and she made my day extra special by finding a lighter to light my candle. We came into Texas Roadhouse last night to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and even though it was a packed house, we had a wonderful experience sitting at the bar. Our bartender Kaytlin was outstanding—quick, friendly, and efficient even on such a busy night. She kept things cheerful and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The food was great, the atmosphere was lively, and the service couldn’t have been better. We truly enjoyed the evening and are already looking forward to coming back again soon!

I have not been to this particular location. I did however dine at the Wichita Falls location several times last week. I found out 1 of the old managers Ried is currently working this location now. He is absolutely amazing & I promise he is extremely attentive. I would bet the Lubbock location is a great place to dine at. Ried come to Green Bay & fix this location please!!! It’s terrible at best!! Long wait times even when the dining area is @ about 40% capacity. Servers playing on phones & or chatting with each other. Visited on a Sunday at 6 PM with a party of 5. I would recommend joining the wait list prior to arriving, the place is crazy busy. So busy, that I had my doubts on the service quality. Incredibly, the service was awesome. Almost like a magician pulling out drinks and food from under the table. Our server Zoey was super fast with service. This place definitely has it together. Food was not top tier, but enjoyable. Has a great selection.

I'm giving it a 4 star because the floor underneath our booth and our seat was dirty with food left behind. I took a look around at the other tables/booths around us and most had food on the floor. I don't want food on the bottom of my shoes. This is our first time at this location since we are from out of town. My son asked for a medium rare steak and it was more on the medium side. He loved the side of fries and said the seasoning on them was so good. The 2 medium well steaks were more on the well side. We tried the mocktails for the first time (we were driving) and they were great! I'm sure if we would have said something while there they would have fixed it but we were short on time as we had to get back on the road for 8hrs. The young man/server was very polite and attentive. I would come back again.

Delicious steak, I would've loved it with a add-on topping like butter grilled onions or garlic. Cooked accordingly. Place is very nice! Great customer service. Sangria Margarita was good too. Their steak sauce is okay, A1 is still better. Atmosphere was too loud for me. The music is loud but it's okay because you won't have others listening to your conversations. Good crowd and service was still timely!

Food and service is always great. Only drawback is it is way too crowded. Can't walk through without bumping into someone's chair. And with the crowding, very noisy. Almost yelling trying to have a conversation. Still enjoyable if you don't mind the noise and so many people.

Well this is my 1st complaint ever about a texas roadhouse . I go to a lot of them in texas and for the 1st time my steak was a over cooked and my friend's steak was well over cooked. Still love roadhouse, but get it together cooks. A d so I've re- rated down to a 3 overall until next time. Thanks

Probably one of the best steak I have had in the country! The only thing I noticed was that the portion size of the meat that I ordered was slightly smaller than expected, for reference, I am comparing with some well known steak shops in NYC.

This is their new location, it’s big and beautiful inside. Everything from the appetizer and rolls to the salad that came out before the meal to the steak being cooked exactly as I requested. We went in @ 4pm, there was no wait. Our server was great, I don’t remember her name... she took care of her entire section so well! My two complaints are that those little machines with the games charge you $1.99 to access them. So pay attention to your kids lol they don’t tell you that beforehand. & the sweet tea was terrible!! Like it didn’t even taste like tea at all. I exchanged it for a raspberry lemonade and it was delicious. All in all, we had a great dinner experience and never had to wait for anything we asked for.

Anyway, Texas Roadhouse is sort of a place I would definitely return for good old time's sake and for its great value and attentive and friendly service.

12 oz ribeye steak. Cooked perfect. Baked potato and veggies. Everything was great. The only complaint I had was how loud it was. We couldn't hear everyone talking at our table. But it was a busy night. Not a good place for large groups for meetings.

It was my mom's 76th birthday and this is her favorite restaurant. The hostess was kind of unprofessional, but she's young. Fast seating, as we joined the list online. Our server, Treasure, was just that! Quick, attentive, very polite. The food came out quickly, and whoever is cooking those steaks deserves a promotion! Our steaks were perfectly cooked (I mean Culinary Institute perfection). Also, these steaks were beautifully seasoned. Alas, my "seasonal vegetables " were supposed to be cooked, but they were more like crudites that have been on a picnic table for a few hours. When I told the manager (presumably), he seemed annoyed and asked if I wanted something else. I chose the corn, which came steaming hot straight from the can (including the liquid). I wish they would put as much care into vegetable sides. If you're going to serve it, it should be cooked and seasoned correctly. I'm unimpressed with the managers, because complaints should be handled politely (I didn't ask for a manager, he stopped by). NY Strip was cooked well and had an excellent flavor. My wife and sister’s Bone-In Ribeyes were also cooked well and had a great taste. The restaurant was so packed with at least 40-50 people waiting for tables, however, this was Friday night at 5:30 PM on Valentine’s Day weekend. We did get seated in approximately 10 minutes because, fortunately, we had put our name on a waitlist using the Texas roadhouse website app. Server was very pleasant iand attentive, but after the meal was served disappeared and did not return for at least 15 minutes at which time she did refill our tea glasses.

First time having Texas Roadhouse in a long time. We went before the crazy dinner rush and we were seated immediately. Took about 10 minutes to be greeted at the table and about 15 to get drinks. The cheese fries, ribs and steak kbobs were good. The loaded mashed potatoes was missing sour cream and butter. Not a bad experience by any means. We would return in the future.

Been a really long time since we have eaten at a Texas Roadhouse. Menu has good variety of steak, chicken, seafood and burgers. The rolls and the butter are the BOMB!! I got a 16oz ribeye and asked medium/well, closer to well. When I got my steak it was pretty pink, a little to much for me. I asked them if they could cook it a little longer, and they did. Wow, getting here on Friday at about 4 pm was a good time. Soon thereafter, it got really busy. We chose to order the beef tips dinner with mashed potatoes with brown gravy and buttered corn. I love the atmosphere but, it took a while for the food to come out. And we got the loaded steakhouse fries last and we found a hair in it and we had to remind them about it. And the server was not that attentive and we always had to ask for her to come to our table.

Our waitress was nice but actually getting seated took a bit. It was very slow so the wait time didn't make much sense. We had a party of 4, ordered mozzarella sticks, burger and fries, chicken strips, Teriyaki chicken, and chicken breast. I ordered a plain baked sweet potato as a side and when the food was delivered I was told they were completely out of sweet potatoes. I had seen many coming out of the kitchen already, so for it to be about 2pm and them to be out was crazy, but okay. The bed of rice the two chicken plates came with we're measly and so under cooked, hard, crunchy, and made us happy there was not a lot of it. The rest of it was not bad, definitely left a lot to be desired. The rolls were great, as expected.

The food was terrible, three of the dishes ordered was over cooked and too salty. They do give excellent portions to the kids' meals on the other hand. Service was excellent, friendly, and understanding wait staff.

The last two times at the new location have been rather disappointing. We came last night for my birthday dinner with family. My mom’s ribs were so dry she had to send them back - so then she ordered a steak instead. She ordered it medium rare plus - and it came out rare as rare can be. Gag! For sure lost our appetites after that. The time before - the filet medallions were so rare and full of gristle. Blah. Our server was very apologetic but not sure we will be going back anytime soon.

Food was horrible. Ordered my steak medium. It came out, medium well. Sweet potato with marshmallows was burned sent it back brought second one it was burned Manager Diana was not very nice very rude our waiter Hunter was extremely nice, but nice doesn’t get good food kitchen was backed up. They need to get it together in the kitchen manager. Shouldn’t even have brought a burn item out. she needs to retrain on what food looks like kitchen Diana said this sweet potato looked normal. What do you think it’s burned even marshmallows were black. Toasted marshmallows are a Tinch brown, not black.

Out of al Texas road house that I have dinner, this one has the worst service, starting from the check in part, just try to call to get added to wait list and then once you finish check in and get a table you'll set set forever before someone comes and takes your order, waiting on our food hasn't take that long,. Myself and wife are retired, live at Raider Ranch and eat out an average of 6 nights a week. We have particular eateries we go to. Your service and atmosphere is exceptional. I’ve had issues in the past with receiving the rolls I ordered but that’s another story. So this visit I ordered the Steak and fries , steak was good a little overcooked but good. I asked for crispy fries and actually got limp and soggy fries. My wife ordered Bbq Chicken and loaded baked potato. Chicken was cold and potato was hard. I will say the food looked excellent.

I ordered a medium-well New York strip because our roadhouse tends to undercook the requested doneness and I like it medium. Big mistake. I got the driest chunk of meat I’ve ever eaten. I had to eat it with bbq sauce just to be able to swallow it because it was drying my mouth out so bad. My husband was laughing and offered to pull out the chain saw because I could hardly even get my knife through it. I’ve tasted well done steaks juicier than this one. I ended up just throwing half of it away because it was too tough and dry to eat. It was very frustrating because we ordered it for pick up. If we were in the restaurant I would have asked for a new steak because this was so bad. The rolls and green beans were good as always.

I’m not sure what about this location in Lubbock but I’ve been here 3 times and every experience hasn’t been great. If it’s not the drinks having to be sent back it’s hardly seeing the server, tonight our server we saw her maybe 3 times and had to ask another server for help. As a server myself kinda disappointed

Went for birthday dinner for my husband. He ordered a medium cooked bone-in ribeye and it came out raw, we sent it back and it came back medium rare except for when we cut closer to the bone it was still raw. They just could not get it right tonight, we left disappointed.

We checked in online and when arriving I went to the host stand to confirm we were on the list. They confirmed should only be 10 more minutes. After waiting 30 minutes I went back up to see how much longer and the guy informed us that they “sent a text” and gave our table away. Mind you we were waiting outside with 3 small kids. I showed him my phone to show that we never got a text. He was unable to show us that a text had actually been sent. Then told us it would be an additional 20 minutes. WILL NEVER COME AGAIN. They gave our original table to the injured hostess friends.

This was my first ever roadhouse experience and it was not pleasant. I had an entire drink accidentally spilled on me by the staff within minutes of sitting down. The waitress was very apologetic and helpful cleaning it up the best she could. But I was stuck in wet jeans for the next few hours until I made it to my final destination. The side to my meal was a bit salty. It would also be great if there were a couple more handicap parking areas. Hesitant to consider returning and getting the full experience.

I’m tired of ordering and not getting what I asked for. I ordered medium rare because I knew I wasn’t going to get to eat it right away, and I would have to reheat it. Instead I got medium well-done. Before y’all say that the steak probably continued to cook on my way home. Not my case, the food felt semi-warm and so I thought I had my medium rare steak. I ordered the same steak 6 days ago and received medium rare then, and once again I didn’t get to it until later that night. Do I need to check my order before I drive off? I hate that y’all ask for a tip on pick up orders. Especially when y’all don’t make the orders as asked. Right now I am fuming at y’all. Tipping on a window to just get your order should not happen.Tipping before instead of after? Why? I used to wait on tables and helped people pick up their orders. There was a distinct difference between the two. How else am I supposed to get my order. As of now I can’t have it 3D printed. I don’t think I will be tipping for any of my pick up orders from now on. I am beyond disappointed with a huge dash of heartburn with the rubber beef jerky I got today.

3 strikes. This last time our steaks were burnt. We wanted MR. Our daughters speak was rare. The veggies were so soggy and over cooked they fell apart by picking them up. The rattle snake bites weren't completely cooked as they were still cool inside. Super disappointed in this roadhouse

I just want to start off saying that this is the first bad review I have ever left, I have owned a business and know how damaging this can be, however, what we were served was not only disgusting but may have health concerns as well. We ordered the 8oz sirloin and when it came out my daughter took a bite and then offered me a bite because she said it tasted bad. I wasn’t gonna try it before I smelt it, and if you’ve ever smelled rotting flesh, well that’s it. I’m not sure how the cooks in the back couldn’t smell it. I’m driving home and after rinsing my fingers I can still smell it. Sadly this was one of our favorite places to eat! Note to self smell your food before you eat it!! On the positive side of things, we had the best waitress!!

I have eaten here multiple times & absolutely love their food. However I'm pretty sure tonight was my last visit. The cheese burger my boyfriend was served could have really made him sick. It was about 96%-97% raw or uncooked. We ended up taking our food to go and had to finish cooking the hamburger patty at home. Just really disappointed..

I've had it with this place. About 50% of the time we send an overcooked steak back. This is AFTER we started ordering it rare hoping we get a medium rare steak. Last visit, they took about 20 minutes to bring it back out. Meanwhile, my food got cold waiting for my wife's food. They never offer anything or seem to care at all. It cant be that difficult to cook a steak correctly.

Texas Roadhouse in Lubbock, Texas: Where the steaks are… well, let’s just say they’re *experiencing* a unique level of rawness. I ordered a medium-rare ribeye. What I received was something that would make a caveman reconsider his dietary choices. This wasn’t just rare; this steak was actively performing a stand-up routine in my plate. It was mooing, I swear. Or at least, that's what I *think* I heard before the sheer primal fear set in. Imagine a slab of raw beef that had somehow developed sentience. That was my dinner. It had a certain… *robustness* that you simply can't get from a properly cooked cut of meat. I’m fairly certain I saw it twitch. The waiter, bless his heart, seemed genuinely surprised by my reaction. He suggested I "let it sit for a bit." Sit? This wasn't a slightly undercooked burger; this was a small, angry cow that had escaped the slaughterhouse and taken up residence on my plate. I ended up leaving most of it. My canine companion, however, is currently experiencing a significant increase in energy levels. He’s been running around the house, bellowing and generally acting like a small, very happy bull. He's definitely paying off his weight in pure, unadulterated energy. So, five stars for the entertainment value. Zero stars for the actual edible qualities. If you're looking for a steak so raw it could still win a blue ribbon at a county fair, then look no further than Texas Roadhouse, Lubbock. Just be prepared to wrestle a small, very determined piece of beef. And maybe invest in a good vet bill.

Absolutely worst experience with Texas road house went at 6 text and check in!!! Then randomly got removed from the wait list then got told another hour wait!! Terrible time me and my party of 7 will not be coming here again

Really disappointed, ordered a $30 meal for pick up and everything was cold when I got there because they cooked it early. Steak was too tough to cut with provided silver ware. At least the rolls are decent. ☹️

They need people who know how to cook a steak. If it wasn’t for my kids I wouldn’t ever eat here. I’m just glad they got my salad right this time. Ask for a medium steak and it’s either rare or well done no in between.

I was dining in and all of a sudden I heard someone who I assume was a manager yelling from the kitchen. His tone was very rude and completely ruined my dining experience. Absolutely disgusted with the way they were talking to staff.👎🏼

My wife and son went to eat there tonight. She brought me back a chicken fried steak and sweet potato. This was the most disgusting and nastiest chicken fried steak I have ever had in my entire life. The steak was greasy and way over cooked. The sweet potato had marshmallows that were burnt to a crisp. The second she opened the containers the smell of burnt food and nasty grease came out and filled the dining room. I've attached pictures to prove it. A complete waste of money. I'll never be back to this place.

Had to send my chili back twice because it was cold. We sent back our fried pickles back because they were soggy. They never came out during our meal. The waitress said we will just take them off your ticket and won't have to pay for them. Why would we have to pay for something we never received. A member of management never came to visit.

Service wasn't great they were rushing us to order and get out then I got a $35 poterhouse and it was a bad steak that made me throw up right after we left i normally don't do reviews but this is the second time this has happened in my last 3 visits. Ridiculous

Ordered online. Picked up, young lady stated salad is there, order is correct. Get home, no so much. All can still be fixed. Call, you can't bring food back, hold for manager. 25 minutes on hold, hung up. Not sure, the end game of online ordering, but I'll go with Salt Grass next time.

Love the food, service not good. Yesterday, we waited got the text but our name was not called once at front when I went to ask the young guy said it was my fault for not responding or coming sooner. The truth is They forgot or skipped us. Basically, the young guy blamed me, the customer for not hearing my name or reminding them. 😡What they should have done is just correct the mistake immediate and apologize, which they did call us promptly but no apology. I won’t stop going as the food is delicious, but that guy could use some common courtesy.

Was on the waitlist for almost an hour because of the size of our party, and when we came to get seated they said they already gave up the table. The waitlist was no problem, I expected to wait a while since we had a large party so everyone went and waited in their cars. From the time I got the text it was ready and we all gathered to go back inside it was 8 minutes. They couldn’t hold the table for 8 more minutes after we had to wait for almost an hour?

The service we received wasn’t great at all. It was my aunts birthday and we wanted to have a good meal. We were missing items from order and steaks over cooked, which happens. The service wasn’t good we had to look for server constantly for refills and ask for them when he came by. After we received food he didn’t return manager brought my steak back. We had to get our own boxes and Cam never took a single dish off the table unless we handed it to him. I’m here from Houston for my aunts birthday and it’s unfortunate we didn’t have a better experience. I think it’s a lack of training at this location. I even told the manager about our experience he was a younger man with brown long hair on the phone in the corner. Told me oh sorry about that I’ll go talk to him and walked away not even letting me finish telling him about my concern. I didn’t want anything free we already paid I just wanted to make someone aware of the experience so it could hopefully get better for the next guest. Management never did table touches to any table in our section. Which I think this would help with a lot of complaints to nip it from when it happens. Here is the table when we left.

Unfortunately it's not the experience that we normally get. After no wait time to be seated and fast drinks on the table and appetizer came out great, the main on the other side came out way under cooked for me to swallow it. I ordered a medium bone-in ribeye, came out raw like it barely touched the grill to get the color, after sending it back it came back cooked more but unfortunately it was still in the rare side and after couple cuts it was back to raw. Not what you expect from a steak house after a second try on the same piece of meat. Paid and left, was looking for a good meal not a free one. This is just a feedback because we love Texas road house and probably be back next week in hopes the issue being resolved and be able to get the expected service like any previous time.
