Great lunch, menu similar to tandoori house found at the tube stations, but much cleaner, and good fellows running the place. They were tidying up whenever the counter was clear of customers. My choice today was a kabob bowl. We spent $35 for our lunch including drinks and a couple samosas, also recommended. Will be back for more.

My fiancé and I ate here and had the Tikka masala and I had the spicy original curry with steak. The food was delicious and cooked very well. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere of the place was to our liking. We like to eat here whenever we are in the mood for some Indian food. I highly recommend the same for anyone whenever they venture down Milwaukee Ave.

An authentic Indian jewel hiding in Lubbock! This a great place to get some tasty Indian cuisine. A buddy and I were out looking for something new cuisine. I did a search, and this location popped. We came here and ordered several different things from the menu. Everything was amazing. I have been back three times, and each time it has been delicious.

My wife and I love Indian and food and have eaten it throughout the country and internationally. This was our 1st experience at a Tikka shack and we did take out as we drove into town later in the evening. The website app to order was easy and worked well and let us schedule our order pickup time easily. We had the southern curry, the lamb korma hot, and the saag. Our boys had the Naan pizza and the kids kabob and the mango and strawberry lasi. The restaurant was modern, clean, and new. The staff were polite and took care of our order and were accurate. The restaurant was nice but defiantly lacks the small family feel of most Indian food restaurants. The food was good and had flavor and decent heat but not great and while good lacked the full creaminess and spice of a good curry. The portion size was just right but seemed light on the sauce. The basmati rice was decent but once again not great. The Naan was good but definitely on the small side. If you enjoy eating you curry using Naan pieces you may want to order a double portion. The lassi had a nice fruity flavor and was creamy but if you are not a fan of yogurt don't order it. We were disappointed in the lack of traditional desert options such as Kheer which is our favorite. The kids pizza was very good and cheesy and the small kabob was nice with decent char but lacked the flavor and color of a good tandoori chicken. Our kids ate this adequately. This was a good quick stop and filled our curry craving but it definitely lacked the traditional curry and Indian food experience and full creaminess and umami flavors we expect. If you are looking for a quick meal or a more americanized version of Indian food this is a good spot but if you have time I would definitely pass on this for a more traditional Indian food family restaurant.

Didn't have high expectations as I would normally eat at an actual Indian restaurant. We got the Lamb Goan Vindaloo and Butter Chicken Masala and they were both very good and flavorful. Much more than I was expecting! That's about where it ends. The rice was bland and not even lukewarm and the garlic naan had almost no flavor. I feel like I would get more garlic flavor from someone's breath because it was basically just a piece of bread we had to pay $1.50 for. Unfortunately, I feel like everything costs too much for what you get That being said, the staff were also nice and cordial. All in all, we certainly didn't hate anything and we wouldn't hesitate going back again

Extremely disappointed tonight. I haven't had Tikka Shack in a couple of years. I ordered it tonight for me and my dad (his first time trying) and it was 2/3 the portion for the masala and naan while being more expensive. I used to order this and have to save half of it for my next meal. My dad was excited to try something new as he's not that adventurous when it comes to food. He was very disappointed with the flavor and the ratio of rice to masala as was I. I definitely won't be back.

Why is it that when I’m paying online and picking up my order so not a delivery where it says leave a tip I put 0.00 it still charged me and made me leave a tip???!!!! Why did it force me to leave a tip? I don’t mind tipping but I like tipping in person. I don’t think this is even legal…. Hmmm I’m going to look into this further.

It wasn’t terrible, the chicken was cooked good texture wise but it was flavorless. I ordered the butter masala and maybe I’m used to authentic Indian food but this just lacked seasoning. It was slightly spicy with no flavor. And the naan bread don’t get me started. It tasted like it came out of a Pillsbury can. I will say the restaurant itself was very clean inside and the people working were friendly.

The chicken katsu curry was burnt to a crisp and the rice was not basmati it was a weird, mushy short grain rice. Ordered for delivery and they forgot my order of samosas and my wings. I usually love this place, don’t know what happened this time.

The portion sizes are very small now. Me and my friend went back there after a month, and ordered the exact same lamb biriyani. The portion that came out felt like they had portioned one meal in two boxes. Also I had added an extra sauce which I never received. 17.89+tips for half a bowl (forget about plates, not even a full bowl) of biriyani with four bite sized pieces of lamb. Way to do business! Never coming back.

Description of kebab platter says it comes with mango salad naan rice tikka cause. It came with only rice and the kebabs. No naan no salad no sauce!!! Biryani came with 5 yes 5 small bite size pieces of chicken no raita no sauce no egg!!! When I called them they said ok well nothing we can do about it call uber eats. Uber eats is NOT at fault as the bag was sealed! Not even flavorful! Biryani is salty the kebab is decent but needs the sauces and sides

Goodbye old friend Value= Bad I have watched the prices increase steadily and started charging for naan, now charging for the chicken in addition to the increase on the base price of the meal. I understand inflation and increasing prices. So I decided to order the cheapest thing on the menu. Had I not been with my family I would have walked out. For the prices I could go to many higher tier restaurants. But tonight eating with my family. The experience was also bad. Wait time= Bad 27min wait I waited and the food came out at three separate times for my family of four. It does appear that they have a strong take out game…. I haven’t experienced the take out so I can’t comment on that. This used to be a place my wife and I loved to eat and had good service.
