I loved the burger. It was a bit pricey but it was really delicious. I also ordered two kids meals, chicken strips and a hot dog, each came with a side and a drink. The kids meals were really almost enough for an adult!

Burgers were amazing, very tasty and appealing! The fries were also hot & delicious !! First time going to Mooyah. Definitely gives Culver's a run for it's money! I was very impressed.

Wow awesome food first time there I asked the cashier how was the food she said so good and recommended the bacon cheddar burger with a lemonade no fries and my buddy got bacon lettuce and tomato burger we both finished our burger within 3 minutes and look at each other like wow that was so good and said let's go in on another burger with fries very good food and customer service very friendly I definitely recommend this place to eat.

A great burger place to grab a nice meal. The Swiss mushroom burger was delicious and the fries regular and sweet potato were fabulous. The atmosphere was clean and orderly. The staff was friendly.

I came over for a week from the UK and the burgers here blew me away. I had the mushroom Swiss both times and it's absolutely gorgeous 🤤 Highly recommended, I will definitely be back when I return to the US 👊

Really nice having a burger spot like this downtown. The food is really delicious and you can customize your burger however you would like! Quick service, friendly staff, and great food! The shakes are also a great option.

Honestly the best burgers I have ever eaten have come from this amazing hidden gem. I literally have dreams about Mooyah burgers! Great food, great service, great prices! We actually make up excuses to drive to Madison from Rockford just get Mooyah!!!!

Had the Diablo Dog. Size was just right. Spicy jalapeños, mellow cheese and sauce and bacon. So good.

Gorgeous pumpkin spice milkshake. Burger is fine as well. The beef pad tastes nice.

Okay so full disclosure, I did NOT go into this resturaunt, I ordered it on Uber eats. I am an over the road truck driver, so naturally I spend a lot of time eating really bad food. So I made my way into the Madison area and stopped at a truck stop that shall remain nameless. I was hungry, so naturally I went into the stop. The food prices were so rediculous that Uber Eats was cheaper. While trying to decide, I reached out to my sister who went to UW Madison. She recommended here. So I made my order and it was delivered shortly thereafter. I am so glad I did. This is one of the top 3 best burgers I've ever had in my life. The patties are seasoned to perfection. The cheddar cheese was perfectly melted, grilled onions delicious and the lettuce was very crisp (I have a boring burger order, sue me). The fries were some of the best I've ever had. Again seasoned and cooked perfectly. All in all, im glad I got sent up here, because if everything goes wrong with my load, I'll have tried this burger.

I have eaten many a burger from many a place, and this is simply the best. The burgers are extremely reasonable considering you get top notch quality production and ingredients. Culver’s is more expensive, and lesser quality. Rodrigo was very efficient and responsive, compliments are owed to the rest of the staff as well.

The burgers and chicken sandwich were absolutely amazing! They had great flavor and for decent prices too! We all enjoyed every bite of our meal. The shakes were also very good, they were super thick and very tasty. I would definitely go here again! Also great staff and food was served in really good time.

Food is always yummy, my partner loves the vegan burger. Atmosphere was late night college student chic, and the tables could have been cleaner. Really enjoy the order kiosks.

Really good burgers with attentive staff. Rodrigo helped me with my gluten free allergy. Only downside it's a bit pricey for hamburgers, but still worth it, especially because there aren't many places with gluten free burgers. Staff also speaks Spanish so if you don't know English they can help you

I really liked the environment of the place and its workers are very friendly. When I went I was attended by a girl named Diana and I really liked the way she treated my family and me.

It was an amazing experience! I had this guy named Rodrigo and he was so nice! He spoke spanish and it was nice! I would so give him a raise because i’m definitely coming back here!! Great job, Rodrigo!

This is one of my son's favorite places to eat. We are very happy that you have gluten-free buns and the fries are also gluten-free. We are often greeted by Rodrigo's friendly and smiling face. We look forward to coming back again.

The burgers were incredible, that surprised me how good they were considering this is a chain restaurant. we also got the family fries (or whatever they were called 😅) and they were so good, such a large portion, great to share with the whole family. they also had a ton of vegetarian option burgers !

I've never had Mooyah burgers but after a whole day of drinking this place is awesome! Certainly not healthy for you by any metric but that's okay. If you're going to get a burger you might as well get one of their milkshakes too as they do a pretty good job on those too. The atmosphere was also amazing. It was just a bunch of my fellow college students inebriated being loud and obnoxious. For some reason, that was the atmosphere I needed. So chaotic while I get to enjoy the butteriest burger I've ever had. Bonus points for the drunk girl that fell out of her highchair, she seemed to have no clue where she was. What a shame, I hope she got to enjoy one of these tasty burgers.

We were attracted by the menu, locally sourced ingredients. The set up is very similar to 5 guys. Friendly staff and clean accommodations. We sat outside and enjoyed our food. I found the burger to be a bit too salty, the queso is not what I expected it was thick and had no flavor other than salt. The chips and fries were really good!

Coffee shake great!!! Hamburger good but fell apart. Didn’t care for mooya sauce. Generous portion of fries. Will return. Hopefully remember to skip mooyah sauce. My first time here. Good value.

IMO, In&out still the best. The bun in MOOYAH is good, but the beef patties were too salty.

The food is good, burgers and crispy fries or sweet potatoes fries and thick shakes. The State Street location needs to fix their door. It's hard to open and patrons constantly thought the location was closed / door locked. Seems like you'd want customers!

We were in town on new years day because we had to come to the children's hospital, while taking a break we decided to hit state st. Not many places were open, we were thankful that moolah was and the food was really great. We love cowboys and they had them! Excellent too. Thank you staff for working that holiday

This was our families' first time here. Decent burgers but over-salted fries. My kids didn't finish their French fries because of the saltiness, and that's unusual. If you get the bacon BBQ burger, be aware it's just a basic burger, some grilled onions, a bit of bacon, and a minor amount of BBQ sauce. I would have included lettuce and tomatoe if I'd known before. Overall, it's not bad, but it's definitely not a top restaurant for burgers and fries compared to other Madison burger joints.

The best I can say about this restaurant is that it’s fine. The worst thing I can say is that I was supremely disappointed. These are not the best burgers in the area. I didn’t feel satisfied and it was essentially a nothing burger being served to me. To each their own, but try not to waste your time on these mediocre burgers. The only thing it has going for it is that it’s relatively close to a hotel. Not the worst, but definitely not the best.

Drove all the way from Chicago to eat here. Was rather disappointed. Would’ve rather ate a rock. I was in a conundrum, call Rahm Emmanuel and tell him I know who stole the winter supply of salt for Chicago ice or finish the fries which I paid an arm and half a leg for.

Just ordered them uber eats. Frickin terrible!!! So disappointed. Didn't get everything I ordered. The price for what you get is a joke. Spent $40 and I've had better food from McDonalds for cheaper. Will never order from here again. As an example I spent $7 on a shake that size. The other picture is a chip dip that cost me $4. Ridiculous. I created my own burger, so it was costly and as hungry as I was, it was bad. I use to live in Texas and lived by a Mooyah and it wasn't like this. So if you want or are familiar with Mooyah just don't go to this location

If I could give it 0 stars I would cause we just ordered food and are burger came undone so we had to build our burger and they dumped our fries in a paper bag with nothing covering it and they through all the topping for the burger in the bag not even in a container

There was hair in my shake Made me very sad. I hear great reviews about the milkshakes and this is what I find. Not one but multiple hairs :/ UPDATE: Mooyah comments on my google review saying that they want me to reach out to them to make things right. I emailed them twice now and they haven’t gotten back to me. Ignored both of my emails. Now they are wasting my time. Probably only commented on here to look good to the public, seems to me that they don’t truly care about the consumers experience.

Worst burger ever with watery potatoes

I went for half price shake happy hour. I got my shake with no straw. I asked for a straw. The cashier said they were "out of straws"(?). I then asked for a refund since I hadnt touched the shake yet and couldnt eat it without a straw. Refund was denied. Horrible management.

We had bad experience in this place. Our order was prepared wrongly (vegetarian burger had bacon!). We still got new burger quickly. Burgers were ok like you get in fast food restaurants but nothing special. Also poor customer service! We wouldn't come to eat burgers here again. I feel this place is overrated.

NORMALLY it’s good service and food, but this time we went to the Mooyah downtown on State St. and ordered more than $60 worth of food and none of the orders were right. When we tried calling they ignored what we said hung up and never answered the phone again.
