Excellent for delicious tapas and raciones! The bravioli, the meatballs... everything is delicious, plentiful, and affordable. Very friendly staff. The terrace has plenty of tables, and a covered area if you book. There are also tables inside the bar. Highly recommended.

The terrace is great in summer, it's very cool, the drinks and tapas are good... The only downside is that one of the waitresses has a bit of a temper (it was scary to order anything from her 🤭), we preferred the waiter, he's much better, very nice. Otherwise, everything was great 👍.

Nice little neighborhood cafe bar. Beer 🍺, ham and cheese sandwich 🥪, chips, for 3€! What a great 👍 deal!

Neighborhood bar with a heated terrace. Very generous portions. They served us a mixed sandwich with chips as a tapa! Homemade food and very good value. The only thing to say was that the floor was quite dirty (an unhealthy Spanish tradition of throwing everything under the bar in bars...)

Their main attraction, without a doubt, is their tapas. Beer + tapa: €2. There's usually a wait to get a spot on the terrace (there's even a queue), but the service is very fast.

🏢 ATMOSPHERE/VENUE: A good traditional place to have a snack/tapa. They have a nice terrace, but there's not much space inside. ⚠️ SERVICE/ATTENTION: Very attentive and friendly staff. They serve you a free tapa with your drink. 🌮 FOOD: We ordered the salad and the croquettes, and they're really filling and come in large quantities. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by both dishes, although they aren't the best I've ever had, but they're much better than very expensive places in Madrid and are on par with them. Regarding the quantity, I repeat, it's very good; we couldn't finish it. ⚖️ VALUE FOR MONEY: Regarding the price, I think it's very good, since two pitchers of beer and the two portions cost us €17.60, or less than €9 per person, which is great. 💯 NOTE: We give it a 7.

para tomar unas tapas... con la primera cerveza me pusieron medio sandwich mixto frio y un pequeño trozo de tortilla y decidi no pedir nada mas e irme... respecto al ambiente... trabajadores de la zona jugando a la tragaperras y pidiendo "sol y sombra"... conclusion como bar de barrio hay muchos mejores en "La Elipa" es mas lugar para tomarte una cerveza o cafe. Lastima que el propietario conteste de tales maneras en lugar de verlo como critica constructiva para mejorar, le recomiendo revise su vitrina.

I'm giving it one star because I can't give it less. Ten of us went as a family to have a drink on the terrace. One of the tables became free, and we went over to make sure no one took our place. Two people sat in a corner, and when the waiter came, he rudely told us we had to wait while he cleaned the table. We told him we weren't bothering anyone, and he said he wasn't going to serve us. We got up, and he was disrespectful to one of us. If you don't have people skills, stay home and don't work with the public. It's pathetic that we have to put up with this kind of behavior from people who don't want to work. Disappointing. If you want to be insulted, come here, no doubt. If you want to have a pleasant time, find another place. And I hope you don't tell me it's a lie because that will say more about you than about me. Hire new staff who are eager to work, and you'll see the business improve.

There were ten of us, so when we saw several tables being vacated and no one waiting, we went to them. We were counting the chairs to see if we'd all fit, and two of our group sat down. The waiter came over in a rude tone, saying he had to clean the table first and that we were bothering him, even though only a small corner was occupied. When we told him it wasn't a problem because there was plenty of space, he started raising his voice and ended up saying he wasn't going to serve us. This isn't the first review that criticizes his attitude, which should be reviewed because it's a matter of courtesy, and they need it in their jobs.

The waiter is very unpleasant, rude, and arrogant. I came here with some friends, and I certainly won't return nor recommend him. Simply because we told him we wanted to join two tables together, he rudely told us no and that regular tables seat six people... lamentable.

Unfortunately, the worst service I've ever received in Spain! We were served by a very ill-tempered waitress, and I don't plan on returning. It's absolutely true, and I have no reason to lie. The waitress was extremely disrespectful, not only to my table but to all the tables, as if she were doing us a favor by serving us. I travel all over the world, and this was my first time here, and I've never been treated like this. She threw plates down very roughly, didn't answer questions, made a face at everything, and when I finished my drink and wanted more, she told us we had to order everything again at once, not one thing at a time. She should be given hospitality training to work with customers.
