Preguntas frecuentes sobre La Quinta
Opiniones de La Quinta Madrid
Snack dinner after a concert (very close to the National Auditorium). Everything was excellent, served promptly and courteously. We were eager to try some more suggestions, but since there were only two of us, we'll have to save it for another concert. Reservations are recommended, especially if you want a terrace, as it isn't very large. Recommended.
Classic spot with a senior clientele and good, traditional food
Excellent service, everything quite delicious except for the tripe and oxtail, which were exquisite. Thank you to Mr. Diego Gil, the manager, whom we had the pleasure of treating ourselves to a good wine.
We always go there for family meals, and it never fails. Everything we order is delicious, the place is nice, and the service is top-notch. The portions are average-sized, not very generous, but it's delicious.
Good food. Be careful, they charge €3.50 for bread service. If you go in a group, they'll sneak in things you didn't order. On a €690 bill, they overcharged us €100. And we had to fight it. The owner was very cheeky. I don't recommend it.
It's one of the few places in Madrid where I feel at home. Everything is incredible. Every time my partner and I go, we order a different dish, and each time I'm more surprised than the last! We've complimented the chef several times. The owner and manager is a very hospitable and pleasant man. 100% recommendable any day of the week! Thank you!
Today we ate with the family in the restaurant's private room. The food was excellent, especially the calamari and lamb. The staff was wonderful, and I'd like to give a shout-out to Diego, the owner. He's a restaurateur of the kind that has always existed in Madrid, but now only a few remain.
We went to this restaurant for the first time, and it won't be the last. The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. The service was very good, and we were served with genuine care. The atmosphere is cozy and has two private rooms for those who prefer a more intimate setting. It's not too noisy, which is normal. Highly recommended.
Hi Diego, this is Ginés Hidalgo. We had dinner with you thanks to Emilio and María José. It was a fantastic meal. The starters were excellent (anchovies Malaga-style, potato salad, tomato) and when we ordered the main courses and tried the oxtail... it was spectacular. Thank you so much for your kindness, service, and excellent work.
Excelente.
Traditional Spanish restaurant. Has been around for 33 years. Visited by famous people.
As always, wonderfully!!
A Jerez corner in Madrid. Excellent food and service.
We celebrate our family's Three Kings' Eve dinner here every year, and they treat us very well. They set up a table for more than 20 people and serve us promptly.
The host was a 10. Attentive and attentive service. And a little girl who sings and charms ☺️
Good food, quality and fantastic service for a traditional place
Very good restaurant. Good food and very friendly staff.
You're amazing, the food is excellent, and the service is unbeatable. I'm so grateful you took my allergies into account. I highly recommend you.
Excellent food, atto service.
Excellent service and food. 100% recommended!
Good value for money. Classic menu. Traditional food. Medium-high prices.
The quality/price ratio is quite good. All the food is delicious, with a wide variety. Good service.
You eat, you enjoy, and you're served by Diego and his fantastic team! The food really deserves a separate review. La Quinta is one of those unique places in Madrid. Terrace and dining room. Enjoy.
As always, excellent value for money. The artichokes with clams were spectacular, and the tuna was perfectly cooked. The service was unbeatable! Diego, you're a star and a machine; you never cease to amaze me! The restaurant is perfectly equipped with measures to prevent the spread of COVID. 100% recommended.
Quality products, very good cuisine, and excellent service in a welcoming atmosphere
Mediterranean home cooking is the best in the world, and it's not just a compliment, it's a reality.
Very good food. Excellent service. Good price.
One of the best in Madrid!
Cleanliness, good cuisine and friendly service
Spectacular! Excellent cuisine and exceptional service.
Fantastic attention and friendliness
They don't have a daily menu, only a special menu that costs €28. However, it's an exceptional menu; the noodles with clams and the bonito Rioja-style are incredible. The dessert menu deserves a separate mention; the cheesecake is the best I've had in a long time.
Diego and his family have welcomed me as one of their own. eternally grateful
Magnificent restaurant. Delicious food and quality ingredients, a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, and excellent service from the staff. Average price: €40. I'll be back.
Pleasant place, well attended and well prepared cuisine.
We had Jerezana Cabbage, exquisite. A powerful meal for this weather. Excellent service. I'll return to try other dishes on the menu, which looked very good.
A peaceful place
Simply EXCELLENT
It's a pretty good bar-restaurant; the service is quite good, and between the tapas and some larger portions, you can have a very satisfying dinner. The waiters Raul and Jose are particularly noteworthy, although we friends have been told that Raul has been transferred elsewhere, which is a shame. The place is highly recommended in terms of service and value for money.
A cozy and very quiet restaurant. You can have a pleasant conversation without shouting. The staff is polite and respectful. The atmosphere is family-friendly. Good service and excellent food.
Traditional, rich and varied food, efficient staff and good service.
Both the service and the food are excellent.
Good food and facilities. Excellent service from the owner and waiters.
Very friendly, good service, very well attended, I have been back after a long time and I still like it. We had some tripe, sea bream and tail and everything was very good to repeat.
Simply enchanting!!! A pleasure to enjoy the experience!!!
Very good and unbeatable treatment
Excellent food and service
Diego knows.
The cuisine is impressive. Whatever you order, you always get it right. A word of advice: Always let Diego advise you.
Very good service and very well prepared food
The best thing I've tried and the waiters are great. I love ordering the Milanese, it's the best.
Hearty dishes, excellent quality, and outstanding service from Diego (the owner). The Jerezana stew and the oxtail were spectacular 👏👏👏 The wines were good, although a bit pricey. Good food and even better after-dinner conversation. Highly recommended!
A good restaurant serving home-cooked food. I'm sorry I didn't take any photos. Just the dessert... the best soufflé I've ever had. It's worth a visit for that alone... minimum for four people. Excellent stews, tripe, and oxtail. The fish is decent. The salad is very homemade and delicious. Excellent staff and delicious ham... I insist on the soufflé. Reasonable prices with good quality and quantity. Parking is difficult, but there is a paid parking lot 40 meters away. It's worth a leisurely visit.
December 28, 2024, 17 friends gathered for Christmas lunch. Very well treated and served by two pleasant, efficient, professional young ladies, always smiling. Very good. We'll be back in 2025. Thanks, Diego.
A complimentary tapa upon arrival. Everything was delicious. The beef cheek was excellent. The veal escalopes were good, though a little tough for our taste, but the sauce was fantastic. The suckling lamb chops were very good. The Iberian ham was superb, although a small plate for €25 might be a bit pricey. Fried eggs with potatoes for the little one 👍 The croquettes were okay. Plus 3 desserts, 2 coffees, and a non-alcoholic drink, the total came to €180.
As always... good quality... good service and reasonable prices
The manager at Jerz de La Frontera. Friendly and helpful. He'll make your stay enjoyable!
Ideal for dinner before going to the Auditorium
Homemade....traditional...a lot of kindness....good genre. Ideal to go after the Auditorium concert
The service and the food, as always, were exquisite.
Excellent service. Very good food. Poor parking. Traditional cuisine. Can be arranged for business lunches or dinners.
The oxtail stew is especially recommended. The auditorium parking lot is very close by.
Excellent food and service. Recommended.
Fantastic, as always.
Excellent food and generous portions
A bit expensive, but good service and good quality
A very pleasant place with Andalusian cuisine and traditional stews. EVERYTHING is delicious. We always come back.
Homemade food, everything delicious. Very COVID-adapted. Great service. We'll be back.
Good Andalusian cuisine in Madrid
La Quinta is the place to go after a concert at the National Auditorium. Everything is top-quality. A very pleasant restaurant with a great price. We'll be back!
Good food and good service, prices a bit high. They serve tapas that you didn't order and then charge €1.40 per person.
Quality food in a pleasant space.
A very good establishment. Quality and variety, a very extensive menu that includes seasonal dishes. Andalusian cuisine is the main focus. Attentive service. The only downside is that some portions are a bit small for the price.
Very nice, good service and exquisite food.
Good quality but overpriced
Very slow service. It took them ages to serve. It took over 30 minutes between the first and second courses. It's a shame because the food is good. After this experience, I don't think I'll go back.
Very slow in service
It's a great place to grab a drink after the concert. The service is good and fast.
Good products, not counting the croquettes.
The food is okay, nothing special; it's not luxurious, which is what it should be for the price.
The food was good. The service was friendly. It's a restaurant that has its audience, but I won't return to a place where smoking is allowed in a separate room separated by a curtain.
The food was quality, but too many things were average to warrant a positive rating. The price was high, €55 per person, which allows you to try much better menus elsewhere; average service, some incomplete dishes (clam soup without clams for €20?), and to top it all off, a dessert we didn't order and they tried to charge us for. Oh, and by the way, the flan isn't homemade; as they say, it's "dull."
When you go to a concert at the Auditorium and see that all the nearby venues are packed except for this place, it's quite striking; if you end up going in, you'll see why. It's a real trap, playing on your rush, whether before entering or leaving the show. A run-down dive that must have seen better days and can survive by ripping off those who pay the price, but only once. Meager portions, at almost standard prices (everything's around €14) and frozen products like mini croquettes. They charge €3.50 per person for bread and a tub of spread, insane. Anyway, even if you look at the reviews and see that the average is over 4, it's hard to understand... especially since it's the only place in the area that's practically empty, even though it's one of the larger venues.
I'm not sure if I'm referring to the same place, judging by some of the reviews. My experience was at La Quinta, located at 1 García de Luna Street, right behind the auditorium. The fact that Madrid is incredibly expensive, and that Madrid's food has declined in quality, doesn't excuse the owner of this place charging exorbitant prices without any justification. When he tells you he doesn't have the €18 artichoke with clams and suggests grilled artichoke with ham instead, only to end up paying €30 for them without even getting the ham, it's a rip-off. And then he adds €3.50 for an unsolicited appetizer. A glass of wine costs €4.50, a beer the same, and a non-homemade dessert totals €7.50, accompanied by a €3.50 herbal tea. You feel completely cheated. Thankfully, the owner explains that the prices are high because he pays his waiters, whom he then berates in front of the customers. Certainly, as the gentleman has said, he has months left before he can stop, what I wonder is how he has been able to stay here with these abusive practices.
The meat was good, but I couldn't enjoy it because of the overpowering taste of some very greasy artichokes, loaded with garlic and lemon. They serve a spreadable blue cheese as an appetizer, which you take away when you say you don't like cheese, but they don't offer an alternative. The dessert was a mass-produced Santiago cake, half-stale and with a refrigerated taste. (€7.50) You order a glass of wine, and without asking which one you'd like, they just give you a very strong one. Etc. Double the beer cost €4.20! A disastrous dinner and quite expensive. I won't be back.
They charged us €11.60 for bread and tapas we didn't order. The first time I've ever been charged for tapas. Then, they charged me for soup with spaghetti instead of noodles. 3.50 for a soft drink... €5 for baby squid... The food doesn't do justice to how excessively expensive it is. A total mistake. We won't be back.
An old restaurant with rather outdated facilities and unpleasant decor, yet they charge as if it were a luxury establishment, and the food is just average, nothing special. The prices are outrageous. 4 euros for a soft drink or tea. 10 euros for bread for three. They didn't even ask if we wanted it... well, because they're near the auditorium they know the same kind of people will be there... but we won't be back. Outrageous.
I've been living in Madrid for 16 years, and today I had the most expensive Coca-Cola I've ever bought: €3.50 for the small bottle. Aperitif: olives.
