This is by far my favorite fast food restaurant ever! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious!! The best burger hands down, shoestring fries, and omg the custard is to die for! Hopefully they will open a location closer to detroit soon!

Omg! This is the best fast food! I had their original burger which was huge and the fries are shoestring and they are delicious. The kids all had milkshakes which they loved. The service was wonderful and the place was clean.

Great burgers!

Good smashed style burgers, you get that lovely crusty edges that's packed with flavor. Fries are shoestring cut which makes them nice and crispy. Their fry sauce is a mayo ketchup blend with extra spices which is much better than just ketchup. Price is very fair for the quality of product. Staff was better than most fast food joints. Would recommend for sure.

Wow, what a great experience we had tonight. Everybody we interacted with was very nice and making it a pleasant experience . The restaurant was very clean. I can't remember the last time I had a burger this good! I would come back for that alone, but I can't ignore the custard either. The Oreo double trouble was out of this world! The staff were very friendly and brought the food out very fast! I highly recommend!

Freddy's is my all time favorite fast food restaurant! I absolutely love the cheese curds. They are always super fresh and full of flavor. The cheese curds paired with their fry sauce is absolute heaven to me. It's delicious and extremely satisfying. Their double bacon steakburger is full of flavor and, in my opinion, one of the best burgers you can buy from a fast food place. I love the custard as well and would recommend the brownie concrete. Service is always fast and friendly and I've rarely had any issues over the dozens of times I've returned. I would absolutely recommend you go! My biggest complaint is there aren't a lot of Freddy's in the area. Would love to see another closer to Kalamazoo!

One of the best quick serve restaurant experiences I've had. Very friendly and patient staff. Clean dining area. The Manager (I think he was at least) was very active in helping guests. We live out of town but will make Freddy's a regular visit when we're in the area now!

We stopped here for lunch today and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Alexia took our order, checked in with us while we were eating and even offered to take our tray after we finished. She went above and beyond for customers!

Love the full pickle slices they use on the burgers. Good flavor to the meat; the fries and onion rings had the perfect crisp to them! Ordered 75$ worth of food and it came out fresh hot and fast. Our family really enjoyed the food and we will be back!

If you miss steak and shake that was on 28th and don’t wanna go to other ones this is the place. The difference between steak and shake and freddie’s is the customer service is amazing and freddie’s is absolutely cleaner in every aspect.. 11$ for a double is pretty good price also I didn’t get the managers name but he seems very knowledgeable about the brand and cares about the customers and THE TEAM that’s the most important thing… i do recommend going inside to eat while the food is fresh sometimes when i get some the food isn’t as tasty but still good 👍🏽

My wife and I both ordered the bacon and cheese double with fries. My wife upgraded to the chili cheese fries. I also got a side of onion rings. The fries were smaller but seasoned very well. The chili and cheese were very pleasant together, not heavy on the stomach at all. The onion rings were fried well and the onions inside were just right. The burgers were absolutely delicious! Everything went so well together on them. I also got a chocolate malt, which was very good. Don't forget to grab some fry sauce while your there!

I like their burgers. They're flat and weird looking as far as burgers go but they are tasty. They're also rather greasy but as long as you're aware going in, you can deal with it. Someday I'll try their frozen custard to see if they're better than Culver's. And I've only ever had their burgers so I cannot review anything else they offer but their burgers are pretty good.

I love Freddy's. The food is great and the service is fast, considering they don't cook your burger until you order it. My frustration is that, of the handful of times I've been there, I've gone through the drive through and every single time, I either got the wrong food, or was missing something I asked for. In addition, never once have I been given napkins, which are a necessity when the grease from their ever so yummy burgers is running down you arm!

If at first you don't succeed "try" a Freddy's Combo Meal. Nice red pipes btw.

It was delicious food! I had the spicy chicken meal with onion rings and I couldn't complain. My son got a burger that was a little crispy. Yes crispy. Very well done but that's how he likes it so he was very happy. The cleanliness could've have been better since there was only my family and another there. But overall will return!

It was later in the afternoon when I went so wait times were very quick. Great customer service and clean restaurant. I find the burgers too salty but that’s just my personal taste. Jalapeño fry sauce and custard are excellent.

The food was a little pricey considering it was like food from Steak ‘n Shake. Tastey but two burgers, sandwiches only set me back $22. That’s about the top I’d be ok with. Drive thru was really busy and slow to move. No napkins in the bag made for a messy bite.

The food tastes great and their brownie delight concrete is to die for. Not a huge fan of the shoestring fries so I get the cheese curds but if you've never been, you need to go. People taking orders could slow down a little and make sure they hear you correctly because we've ordered things and gotten something totally different and different sizes than what asked for..but hey..still go back!!

Gotten food reasonably quick. Not sure if I gotten the wrong spicy chicken sandwich but the sandwich wasn't spicy. Fries were pretty good. It's a good experience.

Really good steak burgers! fries a little too thin for me. I noticed they have limited time items that look really good. Turned my sweet tooth off years ago thank God! As tempting as it may be I am happy with how it feels not drinking sugar anymore. Alexis was such a big help with the dietary restrictions we had and had a positive attitude. Food was fast as well!

The California-style smash burger is really good! It reminds you of a Big Mac. The fries are my favorite! Don't forget the fry seasoning or dipping sauces, the fry seasoning takes them to a new level of yumminess! So far everything I have tried has been good. They are usually quick for making the burgers when ordered.

This visit was much better than the last. I would definitely order the chicken tenders again. Onion rings are so good I ate a few before the pic sorry. Bullseye bbq sauce is my all time favorite and rarely do I ever see it at restaurants of any kind. Good job Freddy and Crew!

Stopped in for lunch with a small group of coworkers. Order at the counter then pick up when your number is called. Had the Jalapeno Burger last time but wanted to try their hot dog this time. The dog itself appeared to be natural casing but do not believe it was after biting into it. The bun is unique basically a square piece of bread grilled then slit in the middle where they stuffed in the dog and condiments. Served with shoestring fries and a drink as a combo. You do not want to forget the Fry Sauce both regular and spicy!! Coworkers had the custard shakes and said they were delicious.

I don't normally review fast food joints, unless they do something extremely wrong or exceptionally right. However here it's because the franchise is relatively new to G.R. The atmosphere here is a mix of Steak n shake and 5 guys. Nice, but nothing new. I ordered the double steakburger with fries. The burger tasted just like one from Steak n Shake. The fries were better than steak n shake. The fry sauce was a tasty treat. Service was very good and friendly. Overall a clone of Steak n Shake. Overall on the fast food scale it was a 4 same as SnS. Would I return? Yes with a but. If i was in area then easily otherwise no I'm not going out of my way for a clone.

Stopped in after the lunch rush, could see crew in clean up mode around the kitchen from a busy lunchtime. Our food came out fresh and hot and was very good. We had California style burgers, kids steakburger and kids chicken tenders. The option to "hold" your custard until after your meal is a nice touch. In addition the option to add a mini custard to your order for a reduced cost is nice. I do wish this was an option for the kids meal too but the woman working didn't seem to think it was. The first employee we ordered from was very pleasant as well as the employee that served our food. When my husband went back up to get our custard the employee that waited on him was very unpleasant and acted like doing her job was an inconvenience. It is a rarity for me to give a place five stars. This place would have gotten four but I was appalled at the condition of their pop machine and drink counter. It was filthy. Not just lunch rush mess but desperately needed cleaning. Lots of sticky mess, crumbs all the way to the wall, hard water lines and dirt all over the front and mold covering the sides of the machine. Clean that up and I could give four stars but for now YUCK!!

My husband and I went here for lunch. We ordered via the app which seemed to confuse the staff. I believe they thought I was with DoorDash, so they didn't give me my soft drink or the ice cream products while we were waiting for the food to be made. The food and ice cream was great, though. However, the restaurant was extremely dirty especially the front counter. We were 1 of only 2-3 customers inside and the guy running the cash register had plenty of time to clean.

We ordered in the app because so many mistakes are made ordering at the drive thru. We ordered 3 complete meals and it said 8-16 minutes. Within 6 minutes the app reported the meals were ready. Got there and found my order (3 complete meals) piled into one bag. Had to get assistance to get our drinks. Got home to discover they had omitted one of the main coarse (chicken tenders). So we had 2 meals and 3 sides in the bag. Made the best of it until I discovered their sides aren't that good. The cheese curds were heavy and moist, and the onion rings were dried out over done and tasteless. The burgers were excellent and the custards were very good but I still can't recommend this specific restaurant. I really wanted to like it because of the burgers.

For being a newer location the inside of the restaurant was greasy and a little tired. Floor was not clean and the tables not wiped down. The staff certainly could use some better training. My wife and I used to like to take a cruise here for a little treat but now I’m not so sure. $28 for 2 burger meals is a little steep.

Great food! The service was absolutely awful. We interacted with 3 different staff and they were all acting annoyed the entire time they were “helping” us. The manager even cut us off as we were ordering. There was also puke in the bathroom sink which contributes to the low score for atmosphere…This was our first experience at a Freddy’s which is unfortunate. Their lucky the food is good, but definitely going to another location. :)

I don't usually give poor reviews, but the level of cleanliness at this location was far from satisfactory. As soon as we walked in, we could see how dirty/sticky the floor was--mud smudges, food spills, and so many dirty footprints. The tables and seats were sticky. It looked like there was a full team on staff at the time we arrived, so it seems unacceptable that no one had taken the time to clean the floor or properly wipe down the tables 😬

My order has been wrong each of the three times I have tried this place. The food is good, but nothing special. I’d rather go to Culver’s down the street and get the same/better quality food for a cheaper price with better service. Unfortunately, I will not be trying this chain again. I was excited by the prospect of a new burger joint in Cascade, but I am untilmately unimpressed.

Burger and frozen custard were amazing. I have had Freddys before and honestly the fries this time were over seasoned. So much so that my hands were covered. I was disappointed because I had paid $16 for an upgraded meal. I understand working in the fast food industry, but the fries could have been less seasoned.

Food is good as always. But the Inside is a hot mess! Disgusting. There is trash and food every where. We had to clean off our own table as employees watched us. We were the only ones in the lobby and maybe 4 cars in the drive threw. The bathrooms were just as bad. Trash over flowing as if it has not been tended to for days

Came in after work to grab food first time eating their young kid gave me the wrong change make sure your cashiers can count these high schoolers don’t just hire anyone to fill a room.

The serving size for mustard is a teaspoon or less, not the whole bottle.

Tried to use my 10$ reward off the app. When I scanned it , it came up on the register, then I added a cheese sauce and it came off. I asked the cashier if it's still on there and he said yea it's there. After I got my receipt, the reward wasn't there. Brought it up to management, and he said he would make it up with custards and he would be back. Long story short, I didn't get my 10$ off and he never came back with custards . 2 stars because the food was still good, but the service was lacking

This place is sadly on its way out like the other location. Imehile the food is still pretty good it's everything else that's failing. Interior space like the floors, tables and bathrooms are filthy. Trash was overflowing and falling on to the floor. Employees were either cooking, on their phones or chit chatting. If there is is time to lean there is time to clean. I really hope they figure it out because my boys would be disappointed if they were to close.

Terrible experience as they had our burger order all messed up. Bacon on the wrong burger. Fries are Terrible. Highly do NOT recommend. And it took them 10 minutes to answer the drive thru.. them another 20 to get the messed up burgers. Just 2 burgers and one order of cheese curds. And a small Sunday. Not giving my money to them ever again.

I'll admit that I've only had their burgers and fries so I can't speak about their other menu items, but they have my LEAST favorite burgers and fries!!! As much as I despise McDonald's, I'd choose their food over Freddy's any day of the week. Their fries remind me of the container of "fries" that you get off of the shelf at a grocery store. They're EXTREMELY thin and crispy. Don't get me wrong, I love crispy fries. I just prefer that my fries be wider than a coffee stirrer, and actually have contents on the inside, not simply air. Their burgers have always been very greasy, and the patties couldn't possibly be smashed any thinner. While I'm guessing that some people like stringy fried bits hanging on the edges of their patties, I personally find it repulsive. If I had it my way I'd never have another burger or fries from here. Unfortunately I don't always get to pick where someone goes when bringing lunch to my home.

Chose this restaurant, as it was the second listing that came up when I searched for best burgers in the area. Not even close! My husband and I both got the bacon double cheeseburger, and were pretty disappointed. Haphazardly thrown together, thin, tasteless bacon, WAY too much mustard, and no ketchup. It was okay, at best, we both agreed. The fries were also a disappointment, they're like skinny/straw fries, with little to no salt on them. I specifically asked for extra fry sauce, since I had read reviews stating that it was really good. I can't attest to that, since they didn't give us any. 🤦 I wouldn't recommend them, and I won't be go back. :(

We went to Freddy's because Stake N Shake was closed and Culver's was too busy. Now I know why I've never been before. The hamburgers are as thin as a paper and It seems as if they drizzle grease over everything. Not the good greasy type hamburger but instead just to make a mess. The fries at first seem good but the more I hate them the less I like them. Their signs appear to have not been updated since the '70s and the price just seemed too high for the quality of food it was displaying. I did not try any of their custard so maybe that's their redeeming quality.

Ordered 4 burgers today after the dinner rush. 2 in a meal, 2 single. 3 out of the 4 burgers, one being the new buffalo blue cheese one, tasted like utter garbage. So only one person out of four could enjoy their $40 meal. With multiple people working, it obviously shows zero quality concern for customers. The only reason I left a single star was due to how well behaved and nice the man operating the window was. That man should not be working at such a trash joint.

No menu on the screen, just paper menus - not that bad of an inconvenience, whatever. The dine-in area was gross: booster seats, tables, booths, everything. We chose three different pops we filled at the machine and two out of the three were just carbonation and needed changed out. Went back up to the machine to dump it and the drainage area to pour it out was FULL. We tried to give the benefit of the doubt on cleanliness, but when we got our order three items were wrong and we had a missing item. I took my tray and the receipt back up and they never reviewed it, talked to the person who took our order, or the person who prepared it. She just told him to get us another meal fry, and that was it. Made it seem like we messed it up. No apology, or a "we're off our game today" or "we are short-staffed." We tried to sympathize and didn't make a scene, but we have no intentions of eating here again. I'm afraid this is where all fast food / dine-in restaurants are heading, sadly.

First and last time. Tater tots smelled so bad from being cooked in old burnt oil. Why would you serve food like this? Disgusting!! Change your nasty burnt grease.

I’m never disappointed by the food. But the service at the 28th St. location was terrible. The person who cashed us out and took our order was named Esther. It was the worst service I have ever received here. She was very rude and talked very quiet and when I asked her to repeat what she said she gave me back attitude. She repetitively rolled her eyes at me as well and kept staring me down while I was eating my meal and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Absolute worst. Ordered a chicken deluxe on a lettuce wrap with no dressing. Came drenched in mayo, leaking out of the container. So much grease the bag was literally dripping and ruined my son's pants and I don't even know where it came from we ordered a chicken sandwiches, one order of fried and onion rings. Disgusting.

This location use to be good but now when I order large fry I get a medium everytime and last time I went I had a hat in my burger as soon as I opened it.. They need to find better management and hire people who aren’t rude and lazy.

Horrible ! Waited a really long time for cold food that was not even what we ordered! Everytime I’ve gone to this location it’s been wrong . Made the mistake of trying again . I also should have checked better but after waiting over 15 minutes even though I was the only car at the time I pulled up , I didn’t check. The drive through person was annoyed I asked for sauce . The order was wrong and dripping with mustard. Wasn’t even what I ordered. We ended up basically throwing money away and having to go somewhere else for dinner. Waste of time and money! Lesson learned NEVER AGAIN My advice just throw your money at the window and drive away , it will be the same result without the food poisoning 🙄
