We stopped for coffee during our trip to Mantua. The staff were very friendly and always smiling. One of the few bars I've been to where, if you ask for a frothy coffee, they'll actually make it for you, not just a macchiato.

Partly in the courthouse, let's say it doesn't need to attract people and this shows. It's not very well-maintained, not even particularly clean. The staff is kind but not tidy. It's a shame because it's not a pretty sight. The coffee is cold and forgettable, like the juice. Prices are normal. Make an effort! Order and care make everything better, even going to work.

We stopped for lunch I have to say the piadinas were good, but there were several misunderstandings with the order. A piadina was supposed to be a sandwich and after making a mistake we asked to change it, since it didn't correspond to what we had ordered, also the sandwich was supposed to have dried tomatoes and instead they were normal tomatoes. The waitress who up to that point had been quite friendly, even saying that they didn't have many ingredients because the next day was a holiday, started to huff and puff. Friendliness towards the customer comes first even if you make a mistake.

Hello, with this review I'd like to express a very mixed opinion about the place under review. I went to Penna for lunch, but the service was very slow and disorganized. We were practically left out and ignored the entire time. We had an appointment and were late for preparing two sandwiches, which definitely weren't worth the 30-minute preparation time. I wouldn't recommend this place for lunch because of the service. I definitely won't be returning for lunch again.

I've been going to Penna for coffee breaks for years, but I preferred the old management. There was a constant turnover of baristas and bartenders, and the two managers don't speak Italian very well and often get orders wrong. The coffee is still good, and the atmosphere is quiet.

A BAR TO AVOID LIKE A DESTINATION, THIEVING PRICES. I go in to get a small cappuccino, and decide to get two portions of “Helvetia” cake. Two portions arrive that are visible under a microscope, 2 cm by 2 cm in size, edible with a single forkful. And already I'm getting nervous. I go to pay and the impolite manager, a certain Maria D E S A P A R E C I D O S “STAKES” a whopping €11.40 from me, or rather two 2 cm cake bites each costing €8. I complain, considering that a whole cake costs only €9 in the pastry shops in the center, but she doesn't even listen to me. THIEVING, luckily this DRAINAGE bar DOESN'T REPRESENT MANTUA.
