We stayed at Manzana’s cabin in 2016. Manzana is amazing! She’s been hosting folks at the cabin for years and also has a room to offer in her own house. She will also provide a specialty dinner (whole fish with sides and salad) if you’d like. If you speak Spanish, you might have a long and heartfelt conversation with her after dinner about all things life in Cuba. The cabin is minimalist, but has everything you need; it almost has a yurt camping feel to it. The area is stunning, lots do to (hiking, tobacco and coffee farms, bat caves, handmade goods market). Locals are very nice and friendly.

This IS the place in Viñales, look no further. There's a cabin with the best view in the entire Valley and two additional rooms with every comfort. The family welcomes and treats you like one of their own; Manzana and Alfredo are the best hosts. Manzana has all the necessary contacts to meet all your activity and transportation needs. It's also a highly recommended place to go with children. This is without a doubt the best place in Viñales, by far.

Wonderful family experience The señora is truly charming. The dinner for €10 per person is truly amazing. The terrace overlooking the mogottes is simply incredible. The rooms are clean with hot showers. Definitely our best casa in Cuba.

Look no further, this is a perfect stay in Viñales. Many thanks to Mrs. Appel, who welcomed us with great care and helped us with all our questions. Besides the hostess, the biggest plus here is the location: at the end of the village, you have a panoramic view of the countryside and mogotes from your charming, detached wooden guesthouse! It doesn't get any better :)

I staid there in 2016. The family is amazing and super nice. They helped us with the visit. And the food was delicious. The best food we had in Cuba (nice and affordable full meal: lobster, fish, papaya etc). And the view for breakfast was amazing.

Manzana (apple in Spanish ;-)) welcomed us in a very friendly way. It felt like the whole village was coming to her house in the evening, even though she was right at the very end of the village ;-) facing the Mogotes (the sugar loaves so characteristic of the Valle de Viñales). We stayed in the Cabin and were woken up by the crowing of the roosters. A change of scenery! And the meal prepared by Manzana was delicious!
