What an experience, true Honky Tonk, awesome service, cheap drinks, and the bbq was great. Got to see Kin Faux and Richie B, two great up and coming country artist, truly the best concert/venue I’ve been to in my 50 years on concerts. Patron’s showed us out of towners true Texas hospitality, family and pet friendly. One of my best life memories
This is exactly what you want in a small town tavern--friendly people, bands that play songs you know, and CHEAP drinks. The inside was really nice in an understated, unassuming way, and lots of space out back. Will return.
Amazing place. The owners here are top notch. The ambiance is great and the atmosphere is fun and lively. I definitely suggest coming up here for some fun!

I LOVE this place! Come here everytime I'm in town. Was a little disappointed that they got rid of the pool table, darts, and big Jenga...but the new owners have a plan that sounds awesome. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
Very nice small place to kick back, drink a beer, & take in the music 🎶 🎵 Sometimes they have food truck there. FYI, be sure you know how to get back home, because of road construction on IH 10, they have a bridge out.(As of November 2021)
I really like the atmosphere of this country tavern and the bartenders were really nice both times we've gone. Lots of outdoor seating, bags, horseshoes, washers... thumbs up!
Have been here several times with a group of us. We have a blast everytime we go and receive great service. They have a full bar and on some weekends they have a live band outside.
Our dads family owns the Valdez cementary in the same area so we have been Visting this location since Teddy had the bar .we love it its quite out here .reminds me when I was a kid and mostly of my dad showing us the old school he attended by the airport .its a great place to get away too.country life
We went with our family for the mother's day steak Sunday. The food was great and the beers were cold. Everyone was so welcoming. They had a talented band playing live music. The atmosphere was great and the bathrooms were spotless. Our large family had an amazing time.
Nothing screams small town Texas better than a tavern built in the 1800's. Really neat and cozy bar with a delicious rotating menu. They also have cornhole out back on certain days.
Greatest bar of all time. Best BBQ in the area. The mac n cheese bowl is truly the greatest culinary experience this side of the Atlantic. Perfectly cooked mac and brisket. Do yourself the favor and stop by.
Wish we had been patrons sooner. Sad we are moving away soon and will be sure to spend as much time here in the meantime as possible. Definitely coming out of our way to continue visiting. BBQ is always incredible and cheap beer can’t be beat. Appreciate how the owners have revitalized a piece of local history.
The best little Tavern in Texas!! Great food and always has cold beer! Basic essentials for liquor, and did I mention the food??? Fridays are usually Corn-hole night and regular music on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons. Check out their Instagram and Facebook to keep up with whats going on at Zuehl Tavern! The "Back Yard" is awesome. Nice trees and plenty of seating to relax and chill out. Stop in and tell them Shane sent you. It won't get you a free beer but they will likely tell you a story or two.
The Tavern reminded me of my childhood memories good old country outdoor musical events. 🎼 Loved the experience the music venue was spectacular WOW Kin Faux country music at its BEST they are an up and coming band.
They catered my mom’s celebration of life & I couldn’t be happier!! The food was AWESOME (best mac & cheese EVER!!), they were timely, organized & Texas friendly ❤️ Highly recommend!

One bartender. They only offer "walk up to bar and order". One lady, owner of bar and the entertainment band's manager, too much for one person.... Can't wait for cooler weather to open up their backyard
