D & S Ranch BBQ

I had an event here this weekend over a 100 guest and the owners are really down to earth people. The scenery of the event barn is beautiful. I recommend D&S Ranch if you ever need to host an event reach out to David&Susan they have the best southern hospitality, and the best prices in town for an event hall!! 10/10 recommend

Their barbecue is so good that chewing is optional! The garden sausage is killer! This place just could become a habit 😋

I ordered one slice BBQ sandwich, sauce, and potato salad. The brisket was extremely tender and tasty without the sauce. The BBQ sauce was tangy and perfect match with the brisket. The potato salad had the added ingredient of bacon, YUM, which could make a meal in itself. I am very pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere.

We were up in Marlin, Tx visiting family and decided to get a bite to eat. We settled on eating BBQ and after checking for local places, saw that D&S had great reviews. I’m so glad we were able to stop here and eat! The food was fantastic and the owners were some of the nicest folks that you’d want to meet. Such a great place to stop in, visit, and eat! We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re up this way.

The sign off of highway six points down a dirt road and says “ Saturday only”....two very promising indicators....One always hopes to find the “best barbecue on the planet”. Yesterday I’m pretty sure we found it. Perfectly cooked pork, brisket and chicken (the sausage had run out but I’m guessing based on the other meats it’s beyond perfect). The potato salad was solid and yummy and the greens were so good we were licking the bowl when they were finished. All enjoyed in a friendly outdoor environment with great people. We will be back. Again and again

I was en route from Houston to Fort Worth and was in the area right around noon. I did a quick search on my phone for BBQ joints nearby and this place popped up. Boy, am I glad it did. I ordered a 2-slice BBQ sandwich with a side of Ranchero Beans. I tried a bit of the brisket outside of the sandwich, with a bit of the sauce. Fabulous! The beans were great as well! Finishing the sandwich was bittersweet. No more to eat, but I was just the right amount of full. I struck up a conversation with the proprietors and let them know that nothing I'd tried in Luling, Lockhart, or Lexington measured up to them. Their converted pole barn is set up to handle big crowds, so stop by and give them a go!

If you’re heading to Waco from Houston , make a point of stopping in at D&S BBQ for a great meal from some dedicated folks. Very moist tender brisket, pork ribs and house made sausage were our choices. Grandkids chose some very tasty beans, potato salad. Owner gave us a sample of his unique, creative greens which blew us away! Atmosphere was very welcoming, care & safety evident , and your visit will be greatly appreciated. Keep up the great job guys!

A absolutely great find! Excellent bbq. Hot and fresh. The chicken was so good, as was the sausage and ribs. Every thing homemade. Wonderful potato salad and homemade beans and bbq sauce. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back. Also, they make their own homemade sausage. Absolutely pristine and clean eating establishment. 👍👍

The best BBQ, moist brisket, amazing sides. The food is sooo good and the atmosphere is peaceful, family oriented, and laid back. It located in Marlin and worth the drive. You have got to try it. The prices are real nice and you get big portions, soooo good.
