The food is excellent. At lunchtime, the fixed-price menu of the day offers a variety of fish and meat dishes. There's a wide selection of wines. It's a popular destination for workers and vacationers, as well as fishermen taking a break after a fun morning at the nearby Danilo Ottonello Tourist Reserve on the Stura River. The staff were friendly and courteous, and, as always, attentive despite the restaurant being packed. The prices are very fair for the quality of the produce.

We stopped there during our trip through Italy and found it here on Google Maps by coincidence. Food was really good and we both enjoyed it. The service was also good and all that at reasonable prices. Atmosphere was a bit like in a better lunch canteen, but overall good food. 5*.

We had a great night at this restaurant. The pastas were wonderful, fresh and had great ingredients. They were well cooked too. They have local wine and quite unique deserts that we definitely recommend! If you are around come here with confidence, you won’t regret!

It's been a few years since I've had lunch at La Botte, previously a regular family gathering spot. It's still a safe bet, with courteous and professional staff, and a clean and welcoming atmosphere and outdoor garden. The self-service appetizer table is no longer there (a reminder of pre-Covid times), but the dishes are always unique and excellent. A glass of prosecco and a welcome canapé. Spaghetti with anchovies, paccheri with squid and zucchini, fillet with Castelmagno fondue, and flambéed shrimp/squid (the names of the dishes may be slightly different). Coffee affogato to finish off the meal. Well-cooked dishes with a refined image. The price is in line with the menu and the location. Recommended

È stato un sabato a pranzo, in generale siamo stati bene anche se qualcosa si poteva migliorare. L'accoglienza del personale un pó fredda non proprio calorosa, piatti buoni ma in alcuni mancava qualche ingrediente citato da menù e nel dolce la crema chantilly era "impazzita".. tutto sommato siamo stati bene, siamo stati soddisfatti ma qualcosa poteva andare meglio.

In questo locale ampio e accogliente è possibile gustare i piatti tipici della cucina ligure e piemontese, con alcune interessanti variazioni. I piatti sono ben presentati e i dolci sono tutti preparati da loro. Il personale è molto gentile e il prezzo è in linea con i locali di questo tipo (non economico, ma ragionevole rispetto al livello del servizio e delle portate offerte).

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante con la modalità del menù, facendo una combinazione tra primo e dolce o primo e secondo o secondo e dolce, tra vari piatti presenti nel menù, per 15 euro a testa. Cibo ottimo e ben presentato. Personale leggermente indaffarato e in confusione.

Spacious restaurant with well-spaced tables, prompt and attentive service, good dishes with a wide variety, and a decent wine list. Reservations are recommended; prices are slightly high for this type of restaurant.

The place is spacious with plenty of space between tables, but unfortunately the noise level was a bit high, perhaps due to a couple of tables of young people celebrating birthdays. As for the dishes, the portions are generous and very well cooked. The ravioli and tagliolini with summer truffles were delicious, as were the braised beef and sirloin with prosciutto and Castelmagno cheese. The desserts were also very good, in generous portions. We had rose ice cream with tequila, a cocotte with peach and ice cream, strawberry ice cream with port, and an over-the-top millefeuille. Finally, a very respectable wine list.

The restaurant is neat and clean, the staff is friendly, and the menu offers both meat and seafood. The desserts are excellent. We ate well, but it's a shame the main courses arrived quite late. Prices are average.

The restaurant is welcoming and well-kept, with a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to enjoy a relaxed lunch. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to the ambiance, leaving much to be desired in both attentiveness and attention to detail—for example, there was no bread on the table. Moving to the cuisine, the beef tuna appetizer was well-executed, with a nice balance of flavors. The cod fritters, however, were excessively greasy, compromising their lightness and pleasantness. The green gnocchi lacked character, lacking a true flavor identity. The cotechino with sauerkraut, in addition to being served in a decidedly awkward soup bowl, was disappointing for its lack of flavor and the dry, poorly balanced sauerkraut served with it. The wine selection by the glass was decent, with no particular highlights, while coffee and liqueurs rounded out the meal without any particular surprises. The final bill, €78, seemed unjustified given the overall quality of the experience. In short, a restaurant with a promising atmosphere, but one that should pay more attention to both service and the quality and presentation of the dishes.

We wanted to have a nice lunch with our kids - restaurant has just opened for noon, was totally (!) empty. We were asked if we had a reservation - we hadn't... and unfortunately we couldn't be seated anywhere, neither inside nor outside on the terrace! 3 minutes later I overheard a conversation with another guest who also had no reservation but asked for a lunch table for 5 persons... and he got one without any hesitations! The difference between us: We had 2 kids (4y and 9 mts) with us - the restaurant obviously didn't want us with our kids! Keep away from those guys who hate children!!!
