Great italian food in Menaggio. I reccomend their pasta dishes, and the ham & melon as a first course. Fantastic. I also recommend either stopping by earlier in the day, or calling, to make a reservation. This place is insanely popular, at there will be a lot of people coming by trying to get a table. Book in advance!

Cute restaurant, you will definitely need a reservation for this place. Friendly staff, the food is average compared to the rest of the restaurants that I’ve been to in lake Como, but it was a good experience. The fish dish was sooo salty we could not even finish one of them. The carpaccio and pasta was great.

Best meal! We shared the fusili pasta as a primo, then we had the Stinko (roasted pork shank) and the roasted chicken, both with veggie stew. Super flavorful and served hot. The waiters were super friendly, happy and polite!

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Menaggio. Popular with locals and tourists alike, our food was amazing with every bite. Fresh pasta & tomatoes, chocolate divine dessert and an ravioli made from scratch. We were completely grateful to get a table at this busy busy restaurant, I think we saw them turn away five or six parties. Be sure to make a reservation it will be hard to get in. Ignore some of these nasty reviewers I’m not sure what their deal is - they are totally off the mark. I’ve visited Menaggio nine times and I’ve wanted to eat here every time and last week was the first time I was able 😳 The service was friendly with smiles and suggestions. Family feeling and every table filled up. Great menu too, you can smell this restaurant from the street. You won’t be sorry

Absolutely delicious! The pasta dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, especially the cavatelli in rich tomato sauce and the ravioli topped with cherry tomatoes and cheese. Service was fast and friendly. A great spot for a cozy and satisfying Italian meal. recommended!

Great service and surprisingly polite, welcoming staff — a rare find in Italy! We finally had dinner in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was delicious, and the ambiance very pleasant. Excellent restaurant in the charming little town of Menaggio. I had the orecchiette with aubergine and tomatoes, as well as the dried salt fish with polenta. The fish is a local speciality from the lake. It is very salty, so make sure you are open to that before ordering it. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

This has to be on your Menaggio itinerary! Fantastic food, service, and patio! They open for lunch from noon-2pm and then for dinner from 7pm-9pm. I recommend either making a reservation a day or two ahead or getting there right at 7pm. There was a line waiting for a table up until we left. Enjoy!!

We ate again last night at this restaurant. The food was superb and at night the town is even more beautiful. I ate the artichoke pasta to start (again) and it is really great. I had the fish as a main and it was really good; especially for the heart of Tuscany where not too many serve fish. The evening was so pleasant sitting in the town square. The service is very friendly but the kitchen could be a bit faster.

Excellent evening at this beautiful restaurant in the corner of the main square of Menaggio. Serving traditional local dishes with fresh ingredients. Staff very welcome and accommodating. We arrived just before 7pm and were able to secure a table without reservation, but I would recommend to book in advance, especially during busy summer months, as many people after us who came without a reservation had to be turned away.

Amazing restaurant! We had ravioli for starter, rabbit and pork slow cooked with polenta for main. They were extremely delicious. The tiramisu is 10 out of 10! On top of very delicious food is the attitude of the staff: very carefully, polite and friendly. This is a MUST eat restaurant in Menaggio !

Di passaggio con la mia compagna oggi a pranzo. Ottimo cibo, ambiente semplice e pulito. Personale molto disponibile e gentilissimo. Primi piatti molto buoni e prezzi nella media, i dolci sono fatti in casa, pure questi ottimi ma con prezzi leggermente superiori alla media (aggiungo che sono delle belle porzioni generose e quindi il prezzo potrebbe essere giustificato). È la terza volta che ci vado, ci tornerò una quarta. A presto!!!

Locale caratteristico, non molto grande, in inverno 2 piccole sale per un totale circa di 20/30 posti a sedere,in estate una terrazza coperta con circa 40/50 posti. Piccola carta menù con una scelta di piatti variata, da provare un ottimo prosciutto di San Daniele,un misto di affettati friulani con formaggi, una specialità del Friuli il Frico ( un tortino a base di patate e formaggio Montasio servita con della marmellata )noi abbiamo mangiato delle tagliatelle alla boscaiola variante senza panna a base di pomodoro, a seconda della stagione si possono trovare da i 2 ai 4 primi piatti e 4/5 secondi piatti, (come secondi piatti abbiamo mangiato un ottimo maialino al forno con polenta),nella carta si possono trovare dei missoltini con polenta, del coniglio al forno, come contorni patate fritte, caponata di verdure, insalate, polenta, come dessert si può assaggiare della crema catalana, del tiramisù delle panne cotte, dei semifreddi, affogati al caffè al Braulio, gelati, sorbetti al limone al Calvados. Da quando l'abbiamo scoperto ci siamo già stati svariate volte ed ogni volta un piatto nuovo da assaggiare. Molto consigliato.

Locale vicinissimo al lago situato nella piazzetta di Menaggio. Possibilità di mangiare all'aperto durante la bella stagione. All'interno vi sono due sale da pranzo non molto grandi. Rapporto qualità prezzo nella norma.

Piccolo ristorante a pochi passi dal centro pedonale di menaggio. Personale giovane e molto gentile, ambiente un po' rustico ma accogliente. Limitata scelta di piatti, alcuni tradizionali come polenta e missultin, comunque tutto molto buono.

Had little expectation of the place as it was a public holiday and so we didn't have much choice, but we were pleasantly surprised. Some of the biggest food portions I've seen on my trip despite my husband only taking the first course of pumpkin ravioli, which he enjoyed. I had the second course of rabbit and thought it would just be tiny but it was huge and delicious ! Also appreciated that they had grissini and not just a bread basket. The waiters are also friendly and there is one with an extremely stereotypically Italian accent that was charming and made our day.

The food was cold and very rude people. Avoid that place. You will wait 45 minutes before getting your food. They are overwhelmed and not organized.

Io e il mio compagno ci siamo fermati in questa osteria. Abbiamo ordinato un pollo arrosto con erbette ( scritto così da menù) con patatine fritte. Ci è arrivato pollo in pratica lesso (una coscetta) e tantissime patatine fritte x coprire l'assenza del pollo!!!unica nota positiva il personale molto gentile e cordiale!
