Always great food and curiosity staff!

Yellow Basket is our go-to breakfast spot. My boyfriend and I always order from there and they never disappoint. The staff is super friendly, and even though they've got a huge menu, the quality never slips. We've been coming here for months now, and every experience with them has been great . Big shoutout to the awesome staff at Yellow Basket!

Great service! Very helpful staff here. Food was excellent! I always get their sausage breakfast sandwiches and they are the BEST! My son ordered the 3- pancake platter with 2 eggs and 2 pieces of sausage. Yum!

This place seems like fast food and it is pretty fast - about 15-20 mins for chicken tenders - and the selection is unique! They have something for literally everyone from gyros and sandwiches to burgers, Chicken tenders, salad, etc. The quality of my chicken tenders was very high. The ratio of breading was pretty perfect and they tasted good even after getting cool. The fries got limp kind of fast from the take out box but they were good and I'm sure much better if you eat them there. Definitely a good place to stop with the family but you get what you pay for. Higher quality means higher prices but it's worth it! They also have great ice cream, milkshakes & sundaes!

Never ever get a bad meal here. Usually come in around 10 am, so sometimes I have breakfast and sometimes lunch. My chicken fried steak with eggs and hashbrowns, was a 6 star breakfast today. My wife had the patty melt; she loved it !! Just one little thing today; the bathroom area. Both bathrooms were very bad smelling, which carried out to the hallway too. First time for this issue; get some plug in room deodorizer; it need that. The staff is always a 10 !!! My go to place!!

The food was great! We almost passed on the fries due to the negative reviews, but they were great. Not soggy at all. The quality of the food was amazing and well worth the price. There were about 6 cars ahead of us and it only took about 15 minutes and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back.

Yellow basket is one of those under the radar, serves a bit of everything, local chains that you almost forget how good it actually is. And I mean that in the best way possible. It's a really solid spot for good food, never really backed up, with good staff. While it's nothing mind blowing, it's consistent, you always know what to expect, and plenty tasty. Highly recommend breakfast here over a lot of the more popular, more expensive other spots.

Black Bear Diner who? Yellow Basket is where it’s at! Hands down the best breakfast around. Every time we order, the hash browns are soft, fresh, and delicious — never cold or hard. Everything on the menu is made right: the bacon, pancakes, chili cheese fries, burgers, sausage, ham — you name it. Me and my family absolutely love this place. We’ve stopped going to the big chain spots like IHOP and Black Bear. Those places feel like fast food now — everything's pre-packaged and rushed. But Yellow Basket? You can taste the care and quality in every bite. This is our new go-to anytime we eat out, especially for breakfast. Phenomenal food, every time. No need to "try it" — just go!

Last week i ordered the Pastrami, had the bread dipped. I am a big eater could not finish it. I cut half of a half in half. Ordered onion rings. Wow .....i did not want to share them. Not sure if they make there own Ranch Dressing but I really like it. Ordered a burger for my mom. If you ever get a chance please visit here.

I had a long day at work with a newborn keeping me up at night. I literally drove off without my food after paying and didn’t realize it. It wasn’t until I saw one of their employees running like Forrest Gump after my car across the parking lot- like far far, he was out of breath. I tried to tip him, but he said no need. l hope I would have noticed in time, but also I live in Temecula, so it would’ve been difficult to drive back for it. Never have I ever had that level of customer service. Also, the food is top-tier you can’t find their zucchini fries and Chili cheese fries anywhere else.

My favorite meal to order is always the eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast! Also, they never hesitate to make it to order. The service is also very friendly every time we visit. Yellow Basket is definitely my favorite place to go for breakfast, any time of the day!

It has been four years since we came here to eat food...and it's worth the price because it's delicious. I got grilled ham and cheese sandwich; it tasted great from the ham but the ratio of ham to cheese is off (little too much ham) but I really enjoyed the flavor! The atmosphere was great...it's a little quiet here.

First time here, and the breakfast was super good!! Plus, they serve 3 eggs on most plates, which is amazing because you have tons of yolk. Can't wait to go back and try other items from their huge menu.

Came for breakfast, it was busy inside with quick walkup service. It was clean and well staffed with affordable prices which matched the serving size.

The most kept secret in Menifee by far. Don't let the outside fool you, come in and enjoy the best, most affordable, real food in Quail Valley! These people are awesome and the food is great. Forget the rest, full breakfasts, lunches, and dinners at great prices, you'll love it! Drive through or Dine in fine classic Diner.

A Menifee STAPLE. I’ve been coming to this Yellow Basket for years and it’s still a delight to come here! The food is incredible and a variety of meals are offered spanning from all-day breakfast to gyros to burgers to sandwiches. This restaurant has a little bit for everyone and is a perfect family dining experience. The staff are always very pleasant and the establishment is great for bringing kids, elderly etc. I suggest trying the amazing breakfast options, gyros and Turkey 🦃 cheeseburger! This location offers areas for large and small groups alike. I hope this place becomes 24/7 someday, it’s that amazing!

My granddaughter was hungry prior to dinner so walked over here and she enjoyed the crispy fries and nice cup of water.

The food was good. It's a little more pricey than the normal Greek restaurants I go to, but still within a persons budget nowadays. For two meals, I spent $35. We went during dinner time and it was quite a wait. I'd say we spent between 30-45 minutes in the drive-thru.

Good food but can't believe how expensive it is. Two adults and two small kids was $65. We could have gone to a sit down and paid that with a tip. Bathrooms smelt really bad, like a Long John Silvers smell.

First time coming to this place. Fairly lengthy wait, but, was hungry, so I decided to wait. The quantity of my breakfast was good, however, all I got was toast, eggs, and hash browns? They forgot my Bacon on both orders. Didn't feel like calling and going back.

Best ever fried zucchini, and the bacon cheeseburger I just can't even express how much I love it and the pastrami frankly it used to be much better and less expensive but of course everything is expensive now so no complaint there on that aside from the standard current year plus(?) general complaint. Basically just a standard Greek style burgers gyros and all kinds of other awesome from breakfast, lunch to dinner offerings including pork chops, soups, chili steak, salad and the like. Definitely a place you would not like to see go away.

First time visiting and was happily surprised by the food choices. I had the Pastrami on a roll and fries. The sandwich was a little dry but fixed that by adding my own amount of mustard. Honestly, the fries are just ok. Eat then while they are hot. The coffee wasn't so great, but I am picky about coffee, so you may find a different opinion. Overall, it was a good meal. I will go back and try the breakfast choices and dinner choices at some point. May update this based on my future visits. 12/25/2022

Prices are great, food is even greater. This place is basically just a knock-off farmer boys. That doesn't mean they aren't delicious, I have had some really good sandwiches and burgers here. I do think they need a revamp as the restaurant has kind of an old worn out feel instead of a new and cleanly establishment.

Yellow Basket offers great food with a solid menu of comfort classics, from burgers to breakfast favorites. The restaurant itself feels a bit rundown, but the friendly service and quality of the food definitely make up for it. The only downside is the pricing—everything seems a little overpriced. Then again, that's becoming the norm these days. Overall, it's a good spot if you're craving some satisfying diner-style food and don't mind paying a bit extra.

First visit, this is a decent “burger joint”. My breakfast was served hot, all the food served was good and the staff was very friendly. Recommended.

Yellow Basket is off the 215fwy off the Newport exit located on the corner of Haun Rd. & Newport Rd. by Texas Roadhouse. Staff I've encountered lately has been amazing. I've tried plenty of their menu items such as their 'Burgers, Breakfast, Pastrami, Salads, Sandwiches, and Asada Burrito'. I've loved it all, EXCEPT their Asada Burrito, which is flavorless filled with too many beans, rice, guac and barely any meat. The restaurant is clean and organized, always decorated, depending on the season. It's always a good meal, but I will stay away from any 'Mexican style' menu items.

I've only had the breakfast burritos so I cant speak on the other food. I will say the BB are pretty good, but they have raised the price by a lot. Used to be 10 dollars but now you can expect to pay over $30 for just 2. Not worth that much in my opinion.

Not the best burger I've ever had but pretty good. The zucchini is cut kind of small so the zucchini to batter ratio was kind of off. I prefer them to be a little bit bigger but not too big like Farmer Boys. That's just my personal preference. .

I drove thru, and was excited because I had not been there for a while and I was tired of other fast food. They forgot one of the bags of French fries and the bag we got was under done. I got a big burger and it was good but too wet and the buns became quite soggy. YB should be trying to equal Farmer Boys but much less in comparison. Need to up your game!

I was the're yesterday afternoon. It was empty inside. All my food was cold. I was disgusted I won't be going there again. It's not the first time. My food was cold I go there because my wife likes the fried zucchini French Frie style. But last time.

Food was good. Food was served and there was a hair on my daughters plate. I sent it back and had to wait a significant time for a kids meal French toast to be remade. Once it was remade my daughter said it was tasty. All the staff have a drag to them besides the cashier in training she’s the only one who smiled, otherwise brings the whole place down along with the outdated decor.

Paid $57 for 2 sandwich "combos" (bkt & fish) and a cobb salad. When I got to the windows, i asked the girl at the windows if everything was in the bag and she confirmed. When I got home we were shorted a bag of fries and the salad didnt have what they advertise (terrible.) Be honest people. Double check before you give the order to your customers. Never again.

Absolutely not! The only compliment I have for the food is that it was hot! Flavors were zero and texture was mush, $50 on two breakfast burritos (chicken fried steak) and a plate of unflavored biscuits and gravy. I can not believe the rating for this place is so high people in Menifee/Sun City like bland food!

First of all, I never heard of yellow basket even though they've been around for a while and there's really no definitive information on who owns it or what the History is. After spending $30 plus for two people to eat, I figured I was in for a real treat. That did not turn out to be the case. It took way too long for the food to show up when the place was empty. And then when it got there it was cold and there was a very long hair in the French fry cheese dish. I must say that the staff was very sympathetic and helpful and apologetic. But it is likely I will not return.

Spices are our friends guys… Don’t bother coming here… decided to try something new and not go with the typical chain restaurants, ordered the club sandwich, pastrami sandwich, fries to share and a drink. $45!! There was absolutely no flavor, even the pastrami, typically a very flavorful meat. Just tasted like soggy bread and mustard. Club Sandwich might as well been water sandwich with the lack of flavor and the fries undercooked and flavored of cardboard. I’m surprised they didn’t mess up the soda! Super disappointed.

Took over 1hr (20min past delivery) i finally called and they told me food was ready waiting on driver. So they were going to deliver 1hr old food. I told them cancel that order. I will come in and pickup if they can please remake. I was assured no problem. I show up only to have what I'm pretty sure is same food tossed in a bag for me to take... at this point t the food is over an hr old. Luke warm, fries soggy. Bags completely condesated. We went in and bought 40 dollars worth of food. I asked for yellow peppers and they only gave me one packet. Then I asked to buy them and then Sofia the manager refused. And they proceeded to argue with me when I even said I would pay for more. Sofia the manager was completely rude and unprofessional. Worst service ever.

Management needs training. I ordered a turkey avocado melt on March 31, 2025. I got home and found I recieved a regular turkey sandwich. No avocado, no cheese and definitely not melted . I immediately called. The worker acknowledged the person making sandwiches did in fact set aside the wrong sandwich. He apologized, saying I could come back and switch out. I stated I was across town and if they could just note it, I would come in following day to get the melt. He checked with manager on duty. When worker got back on the phone he told me I needed to bring the wrong sandwich back to get a refund or new sandwich. I said why? It's your mistake and you all agree that it is. And why do I need to drive all the way back over there with the wrong sandwich. You going to give it to another customer ? Makes no sense. He stated that's policy. What this company doesn't get it " customers are always right" is the policy of any customer service establishment. Your customers are your business. It's the customers that you create your policy around. Unhappy customers are 10 times more likely to pass on their dislike of an establishment. The worst part is you , manager, have confirmed the mistake was made in house and do nothing to keep your customer happy. I've been in management for over 36 years. It doesn't work this way.

Waited for 20 min I'm the drive thru, which i do not mind for fresh food but our food was horrible. Cheese in the patty melt was not melted and fries were old and stuck together. For the price It was definitely not worth it.

We recently visited the drive-thru at the Menifee Yellow Basket. The cashier admitted on the phone that they messed up our order when we called to let them know our order was missing items and incorrect. No biggie, things happen. However, the manager wants us to drive the incorrect order back to the restaurant all to refund the missing item. She stated that it’s their policy, that incorrect or missing items be taken back to the restaurant to determine a refund. Aside from that being comical, I asked the manager if she could kindly show me a copy of said policy. I bet you can guess where this is going. She wouldn’t provide the policy she was trying to enforce! Imagine that! You can’t make this stuff up. We gave Yellow Basket the opportunity to remedy their fault and now we’re forced to call our bank and file a dispute. Ya’ll could have saved your business $36 PLUS a chargeback fee of at least $15 if you would have simply offered to refund the missing $10 item that your representative admitted fault for. I don’t know, seems simple enough to me. Slowly sinking ship.

Absolutely horrible food and the cashier was super rude and stoic. It’s crazy they don’t allow substitutions as a cafe. It’s not The Ritz. The pancakes tasted like shoe leather. Well shoe leather would probably be better. Very expensive place for crap food. You honestly would get a tastier meal from a gas station or fish that’s been sitting out in the sun for a couple hours. Avoid this place. Yuck!!!

NEVER AGAIN! I was shocked at the price. $70 for 1 adult and 2 kids. You order at the counter and they ask for a tip…??? For what??? My son got a Philly sandwich it came with NOTHING, Just the sandwich for $20, 1 breakfast burrito and a chili omelette and the hash browns were not seasoned. Like at all. If you wanna have microwaved food for a high price, this is your place! My son left with a horrible stomachache a got sick when we got home. I hope the owner feels good about ripping off the community they serve. Poor quality food and sky high prices. My guess is their days are numbered…

I was shocked at the price for 1 adult and 2 kids. $70 for a Philly sandwich NO FRIES, a breakfast burrito and a chili cheese omelette, the omelette came with hash browns those tasted like raw potatoes absolutely no seasoning used. We left most of the food because it wasn’t what you’d expect for $70!! You order your food at the counter and they ask for a tip! For what?! If you’d like over priced microwaved food absolutely choose this place.

I had such an upsetting experience for my first time at this location. My food was wrong, but we were already on the way to an appointment by the time I realized. Called the restaurant to see if they will make it again tomorrow so l didn't waste my 33$, and the manager said I had to bring the entire thing back to get it fixed. Understandable but I needed a few bites to hold me over since this was my breakfast that I planned and purchased and I needed to eat. She said no. Would not work with me. It ruined my morning and I didn't get to eat a nice breakfast like I planned. Waste of money. Uncaring manager and horrible customer service. We will absolutely never be back.

this place is so bad! there is cockroaches everywhere inside and even mold! growing in the walls. Sofia the manager is so disrespectful and racist to me and my family which are black and mexican. she had terrible communication skills and no customer service. she yelled at me and my family even tho we were calm. and claimed she would fight us

Once upon a time Yelliw Basket was worth the cost, that is no longer the case. When you spend $20 on a burrito you expect a sizable burrito with the meat portions you would expect. Not a burrito the same size of those at Taco bell. And the mini burritos used to be pretty big as well, now its maybe the size of a well filled taco. Not sure what's going on, but the prices they charge and the food you get. Its just not worth it anymore. Absolutely disappointing.

Spent $50 on 4 cheese burgers that were mostly filled with lettuce and bread. Patties are supper thin, not like they use to be.

Worst Philly cheese sandwich I have ever gotten! Very little meat all you taste is onions only took one bite which was all onions. Last picture is how much onions, green peppers and mushrooms right side is the meat!

Came back to see how the experience was again and it was not good at all they messed up my burger one time so the manager came out to make my burger again and I found a hair in it! I would appreciate a full refund but yeah only got a few bucks back for the burger! No one on the kitchen had hair nets or any type of head wear on .
