Exactly what the previous commenter said. It's an excellent place for buying coffee. A kilo of great organic Chiapas/Veracruz coffee is 260 pesos.

Tiny shop is also a rosteria, meaning they roast the beans on site. Some nice darker roasts available, too! Survivor of recent pandemic shutdowns, adheres to health measures in December 2020.

The friendly owner was roasting beans the morning that we stopped by. He serves up a delightful cortado with perfect proportions and texture.

Kleine Kaffeerösterei die wir nur durch den herrlichen Duft an der Strassenecke entdeckt haben. Nur 1-2 Tischchen. Super freundliche Inhaber ganz anders als in den bekannteren Hotspots in der Innenstadt. Toller Kaffee. Es wird frisch geröstet und man kann auch Bohnen oder Pulver kaufen. Die Bohnen schmecken auch hier in Deutschland :-).

El lugar es pequeño pero al entrar te recibe un aroma a café muy delicioso, pedí un capuchino frío, estaba rico, para mi gusto le falto que estuviera un poco más cremoso. En general una experiencia agradable.

Café veracruzano, con aroma a hierbas frescas, sabor predominan notas de caramelo, sensación ligera en boca, acidez afrutada a dulce, y retrogusto a recuerdos de pan y especias.

Es un café muy pequeño, esta agusto para hacer una pequeña pausa, el café es muy bueno, además hacen su propio café. Recomendable visitarlo si andas por el centro.

Si te gusta el café, este lugar es el indicado. La atención es increíble ya que es un negocio familiar de gran tradición. Si vas el sábado, puedes presenciar el tostado del café. En verdad no dejes de asistir y apoyar la economía local. Por cierto, prueba la mezcla de la casa, es deliciosa y muy bien balanceada.

Probé café americano y es muy rico, huele delicioso y deja un sabor muy agradable en la boca. Me parece que es orgánico. También venden los clásicos capuchino y latte. Hay bebidas frías, orejitas, brownies, mazapanes y jabones artesanales. Me pareció económico ya que costaron 35 pesos. La atención es muy amable.

We have gone to enough cafes and roasteries enough to sense the passion from their products and their staff. This place has terrific staff who loves their coffee. We ordered a frap at 50mxp as we needed something to cool off. Even when it is a frap we can taste the coffee and espresso used to make it and was not overwhelmed by the ice and milk. Wifi is strong, Eloisa took the time to talk to us and prepare the drink to our liking. We happen to be there on a Saturday when they are roasting so the place is filled with coffee aroma.

We happened to rent the apartment next to Cafe Cafico and became friends with Fico. He's been running this shop and roasting coffee for 20 years. Some of the best coffee I've ever had. It's also very fun to watch him roast the beens. Stop by and say hello to him, he is very friendly. I barely speak spanish but we ended up having awesome coversations. Will be one of my best memories in Mexico :)

Very small coffee shop with Mexican coffees. There is one table, so be prepared for takeout. I don't think they serve any food or other fancy drinks. He has maybe 8 drinks or so to pick from. Excellent coffee drinks. Very friendly owner ("Fico") who seems to be the only barista. The business hours very a bit because he closes when he needs to run an errand. Fair prices for an outstanding cup of coffee. When he is roasting coffee beans the aroma is great but it gets smoky inside. Highly recommended.

Visited about 11:30 am on 13/09. I ordered a iced cappuccino from an unfriendly waitress. The drink was full of water and ice and I couldn’t taste coffee. I would pass on this place and try another.

La atención es mala, no saben nada del café que venden y solo te saben decir que manejan lo que está en el menú, el café en grano es de muy mala calidad y el tueste es quemado, pides un expreso para probarlo y solo te quieren vender su "mezclas de la casa" lo que muy seguramente es los sobrantes de remesas anteriores

Muy grosera la señorita que atiende, le preguntamos educadamente sobre los café y molesta de mala gana, nos atendió, con la presión de pedir rápido el café porque estaba ocupada contando dinero.

I visited this place at noon because I was in the mood for a coffee. I ordered a coffee and asked for a glass of water to go with my drink. In every café around the world, it’s common knowledge that coffee should be served with a glass of water, especially in a city as hot as hell as Mérida. The girl at the counter told me that if I wanted water, I had to buy a bottle. I told her it wasn’t about the money, but as a courtesy, they should serve it. I also tried to buy a bag of ground coffee and pay by card, but the machine wasn’t working. I ended up without having my coffee, without drinking water, and without taking any coffee home. I do not recommend this place at all. Not unless they understand that water is a human right and not a commodity.
