Just had an amazing time at High Score & Gaming in Merida, Mexico! 🎮 The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying their Pickachu hamburgers and the kids Alfredo pasta with Chicken - both were fantastic! 🍔🍝 And let's talk about their cocktails named after Super Mario characters - the Luigi Mojito was a definite highlight! 🍹 The place is clean, family-oriented, and an absolute must-visit in Merida. They have arcade games and so many gaming consoles to chose ranging from X-Box to Nintendo Switch. Thank you for having us! We'll definitely be back. #HighScoreAndGaming #MeridaMexico #FamilyFriendly
Highly recommended for gamers and people who want to experience a great dynamic dinner with lots of fun and tasty food. Try the cocktails!
Yesterday, I was able to visit the restaurant after a while. The remodeling is excellent. There's more space, they have many arcades, and the food has improved significantly, in line with the price. They allowed us to celebrate my nephew's birthday. They offer very affordable packages. I think the price is right, given that it's a restaurant, not a party venue. 😂 They were very kind and saved the cake for us. The waiter was attentive at all times. The manager was very kind and explained how to use the machines and how long we were allowed to stay. The fun is for kids and adults alike. Continue to enjoy your wonderful time. Make reservations ahead of time for these types of events. They were very clear with the information on packages.
Yesterday I went with some friends to eat at High Score, the video game theme is incredible, we ate hamburgers, I ordered the “TriFuerza” a 2 cheese burger with bacon jam, very good, accompanied by a marzipan milkshake, all that cost me $ 298; the food was awesome, very good, we played several video games, it is located next to the Walmart pensions you can also search for it on Google maps, High Score excellent place 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
This is a great place to go with kids. While you eat, you can play Xbox, Nintendo or other videogames.
Full of games, delicious food, excellent service. A bit ond the pricey side but worth it. 10/10 recommend.
I love the place! The food was amazing and the arcade mood was super cool. I highly recommend this place.
The Best of the Best 🎮
Recommendations: 1) Make a reservation so you can choose your preferred console and enjoy your stay and food while having fun playing (Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PSP). 2) Since there's no parking, the most practical option is to leave your vehicle in the Walmart parking lot right next door. 3) If the table/console/game isn't available, they have an arcade area that you can use while eating at the restaurant. 4) The food is decent; it's nothing out of the ordinary, but for what you pay, it's decent. 5) If you have the time and want to show your children what it was like in the old days, or if your girlfriend likes video games, this is a good option for something different. Personally, the price of the food and drinks at the restaurant is reasonable because you'll be spending a lot of time playing. One visits out of nostalgia and to ensure this type of establishment, which is already so few in the city, doesn't disappear. Thank you for continuing to fight to maintain this great place. You are greatly appreciated. Complaints or suggestions: 1) Improve the cleanliness of both restrooms. It's understandable that the later or at night it gets, the more neglected it becomes, but at least the women's restroom shouldn't be allowed to be neglected. 2) There should always be a designated person in the arcade area to assist customers when the console malfunctions or they are unclear about how to use the game controls.
For video game lovers, this place is exceptional. There's a two-hour limit on your stay, and there's only one table per console, so if you don't reserve, the one you want might not be available. The food is average; it's not exceptionally flavorful, but it's very tasty, making this a great place to go with friends. I recommend going with no more than four people, as the tables can't fit more than that, and the space is very small. The menu offers pasta, burgers, and wings. The price is average, around $250 per person. There are classic, retro, and modern consoles. The multiplayer internet isn't the best, so if you think you can play pro, you won't; it's more of a hangout with friends. Good service, friendly waiters... I won't give it 5 stars because they need to take better care of the tables and controllers, as the influx of people demands.
Food's ok. The games are pretty neat tho
It's a very nice place, but it's too small for the number of consoles available. Especially the seating: the chairs are super uncomfortable, even though they have a mattress, and the tables are extremely small to compensate. In reality, the tables for 4 people are only for 2 or 3 at most. You can make a reservation and choose the table with the console. You're allowed a maximum of 2 hours of play, which is pretty cool. The service from the diners is very good, super friendly, and quite attractive ;) On the one hand, the day we visited, there were only a moderate number of people in the place, and there were only two guys available to take orders for all the full tables; sometimes, the kitchen orders took a while. The drinks were the only thing they did deliver quickly. The consoles and arcades are in excellent condition, with a wide variety of games (albeit limited). The background music is very loud, limiting the experience of several games. As for the food, it really leaves a lot to be desired. The Pokemon burgers are the "main" item, and honestly, they're very disappointing. The bun is hard and dry, the meat has little flavor, and the burger is almost burnt. They don't offer any sauces other than a super-watery ketchup. The Pandora's Box (a starter) is good, but the potato wedges were half-fried, some of the fries were cold, and some chicken strips were tasteless. The wings are good, but the boneless ones are nothing special. It's clear that the refill drinks are the ones with a liter of water, but they're super concentrated. It's better to choose the tea over the lemonade. The Kirby sandwiches are good but nothing special. What's delicious is the whipped cream that comes with them. There's only one dessert they offer, a sandwich with two cookies and ice cream, which is actually very good. The cookies have a chocolate filling. It was very strange because they served us dessert first, but without cutlery... and for cutlery, they gave us forks. It was strange because we were the last ones in the place, and I don't see why they would be confused. The same thing happened with the table cleaning; basically, the plates we'd already used were left out our entire stay until we asked for them to be removed so we could have some space for our burgers. A good place to hang out with friends, but not a place you'd go to regularly. It's an okay experience, fun. There were five of us, and each spent approximately $300-350, so keep that in mind (appetizer, main course, drinks, and dessert).
