The new location in the mesquite area is awesome for me since there is really no good fresh food options around for someone who likes Mediterranean food. I had an absolutely fantastic time at Dimassi’s Mediterranean Buffet! The place is super clean and has a warm, inviting vibe with a casual yet classy atmosphere that’s perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The buffet is massive—honestly, I lost count of the dishes, but there’s easily over 60 options! From creamy hummus and fresh, warm pita straight from the oven to succulent lamb shanks and crispy falafel, every bite was packed with authentic Mediterranean flavor. I especially loved the variety of salads, like the tangy fatoosh and refreshing tabouli, plus the baba ganoush was out of this world. The staff were so friendly and attentive, always making sure the buffet was stocked and the tables were clean. The price is super reasonable for an all-you-can-eat experience (around $18, drinks included!), and they even have vegan and gluten-free options clearly labeled, which is a big plus. We are over the moon that Dimassi’s is closer to the East side. We’ve been going to their other locations for years, but this location is by far the most laid back when it comes to ambiance and music. A perfect intro to whet your appetite. The buffet lines will start off with all the salads and dips, and we chose their Tomato & Feta, Cucumber and Sumac, and of course Arugula. So glad to see Tabouleh looking fresh, the Baba ghanoush looked sus, but it still tasted good 🤭 maybe just needs a sprinkle of parsley to brighten it up. For the meats, they have Baked or Grilled Chicken, kabobs, gyro, and the Lamb Shank which is concealed to ensure freshness. IYKYK.☺️ Don’t sleep on the rice dishes…there’s Lamb buried in one of those selections too. A number of other dishes are available and of course vegan choices too. We loved the Karak tea, the perfect temp and sweetness! Rosewater was a fun drink, reminds me of Laduree’s rose macarons. Did we still have room for dessert after about 50g of protein? Yes! They had sweet rice pudding with pistachios and cinnamon plus a selection of seasonal fruits. Kid safe options were pizza, fried chicken and even fish. Can’t say the ice cream machine worked though…a kid wasn’t too happy about that. Would we return to this place? Definitely. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

First time going and went with the traditional Hispanic parents. Everybody enjoyed the buffet and its offering. My meat eater dad loved the lamb shank that you can order and the gyro. Health conscious mom loved the curry chicken and veggies/pastas that were available. Staff was lovely and helpful in explaining foods (loved that the food labels had ingredients labeled) and was glad to see even on a slower evening, food was being traded out for new fresher offerings. Glad to see good hygiene and food standards/quality. Also saw great options for the kiddos if this cuisine isn’t their cup of tea (which the cinnamon tea and lemonade/mint was delicious). Will be back again and do recommend.

The people were super nice and welcoming. If I had to give constructive feedback, I'd repeat what another reviewer said: they do not pick up your used plates. Every item was Packed with amazing flavor. 3 different kinds of Hummus, Rice and numerous delicious salads. The chicken, Lamb and Ground Meats were on point! I personally made 3 trips through buffet line. So many choices, you need to do multiple trips. So flavorful, you want to keep doing trips. The desserts options are also delicious. We really loved the gyro meat, beef and chicken kabobs, chicken curry, and 3 different types of rice. They even have lamb shanks! Definitely getting this next time. There are plenty of fresh salads, sides and fruit. They make fresh baked naan bread as well. The three types of humus (at least) are fantastic. The deserts are great too! They provide gloves and hand sanitizer at the buffet bar, which is great.👍 There is also plenty of parking. The pricing varies, but it's reasonable. If you're concerned about the cost I'm sure you can call beforehand or ask if there's a holiday. We were charged the holiday rate because of Ramadan. Clean and new cafeteria style AYCE Mediterranean. Nice variety of salads and entrees. Friendly to vegetarians and kids (pizza, nuggets, chicken, soft ice cream) All the usual and expected dishes. One lamb shank per person. I enjoyed the spicy hummus, roasted cauliflower and roasted chicken. Lamb was tough though. Oddly, I loved the chicken soup. It was soup perfection. I ordered these meals through Instacart. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly the delivery arrived. Ample portions and nice plating. They even included toothpicks and wrapped mints! New place, food is ok, not a cozy environment, the designers had cocktail mood when they decided to use 5 different tile designs on the walls - literally the whole place even the pillars are riled - but no coordination nor contrast in colors. The lights are super bright , I would say 6000k color temperature , which would be ideal for a surgery room. No one came to our table to pick up plates or bring dishware, surprisingly when you pay on your way out, they ask you if you want to pay a TIP for a fully self service meal. I don't think we will be back!

There’s lots of variety on the buffet. Multiple salads, vegetables and meats. However, the food was bland. Hot dishes weren’t hot. They were barely warm. I assume the reviews are positive because today, most people don’t know what good food tastes like. People rarely cook at home, either because of the lack of time or they simply never learned to cook. Therefore, diners are satisfied with mediocre food in most restaurants. Sad!

I wanted to like this place, but the fact that they'll give you a discount if you give them a 5* rating online should have been a clue to walk away. The avocado hummus was nice, but the Falafel was dry. The chickpeas were hard, I nearly chipped a tooth on the rock-hard meatballs, and the grilled fish was so old and dry that I couldn't even cut it with a knife. I will give props to the manager, because when I approached him and gave him constructive feedback, he offered to make me fresh falafel, naan, and fish. I was really impressed that he went to such lengths. However, while the fish and the falafel textures were better, unfortunately they still needed a lot more seasoning as they were both still bland. 2 stars is as high as I can go, sorry 😞.

This is the worst Dimassi's location out of the 3 I've been to. The quality of the food is way worse for some reason. I won't be coming back to this location. Plano/Frisco one is much better

Overpriced then you’ll leave with the stomach ache. I hardly ate the equivalent of one plate and it cost me $25.99. Everything is extremely oily. If you want to eat out somewhere, spend your money somewhere else it’ll save you from being disappointed.

Place is clean but food is cold and had been sitting for some time when we got there at 12. The only thing that was hot was the soup. The food is bland. The pasta-bake was brought from the back also not fresh and was cold. Overall don't waste your money here.

Terrible food: They do not know cooking, starting with stone cold karak tea, look at video of the uncooked only dough in the pizza, they add cold water to their dishes to rehydrate the meat which dries because of left open for some time. Talking about left open: they have flies sitting on food a lot, and on our plate, and all over guests. Lot of food violations, pasta was old and slimy on bottom. The cold salads and pasta my wife had, she had three stones in food. Almost broke her tooth. Plates all had dry food stuck to them, can not find any clean utensils. Very bad, when i said to front desk lady about this, she was not interested in any input. Few food items were fresh and ok, but only a few items(3). Hopefully the people who invested moneyin this location can read this and be on the front end to fix. Me and my wife got grossed out because of all the flies and stones in food and left wasting all my money.( See pictures)
