It's a gem near Terminal 1 of the AICM (Mexico City International Airport). You can get there in just 5 minutes on foot. The food is delicious. My wife and I ate like you've rarely seen in the city, at a super-fair price! We received excellent service from the moment we arrived. Paco was incredibly kind and recommended the most delicious dishes, without them being the most expensive. That's a welcome change from the time we arrived, so we can eat well without spending too much. I'll return every time I return from abroad; it's the best way to return to a delicious meal after days abroad eating potatoes.

The service was terrible on June 15, 2025. They completely forget to serve you if you're alone. I ordered shrimp soup and rice with small fish, which never arrived, and the bill took ages to arrive with the change and check properly because they don't do it correctly. Beware!

I was just overjoyed to drive past La Palma and discover it's still open. I arrived by chance 18 years ago on a 10-hour layover on my trip from Colombia to Guatemala. It was my first time in Mexico, and I had no idea that a few years later I'd move to this country and have family here. Mr. Pancho not only kept me company while I tasted my first real tequila, but he even invited me to lunch. I'll never forget that day, his hospitality, his beautiful conversation, and how deeply Mexico has touched my heart. I hope to visit the place very soon, but I'm giving it the highest rating 18 years late.

If you have a layover in CDMX I highly encourage you to leave the terminal hotels and try this absolutely delicious seafood restaurant. It's well earned reputation for serving fresh and tasty crustations is put on full display no matter what you order. Try the empanadas and quesadillas as appetizers. Soooo delicious!!

I just came to this seafood place instead of eating in the airport, and I definitely didn't regret it. Very friendly staff, good food, and a far better experience than in some faceless, anodyne chain restaurant. Very easy to get to. Go down to the ground floor (planta bajo) of terminal one, and then walk all the way north-east until the final exit doors. Then you just cross one road and you're virtually there. We were told it was a dodgy area, but you're literally walking 50 metres into it, so....

The food is good if you eat at the restaurant; it's plentiful. If you order takeout, they sometimes don't follow the instructions and the portions are usually smaller. The food is well-seasoned, though sometimes a bit too salty. The service is good and attentive. As for the atmosphere, sometimes customers arrive and drink for a while and are inconsiderate. The price is reasonable for seafood.
