Delicious and authentic Lebanese cuisine with a relaxed and welcoming vibe. The owner offers great hospitality. I have visited for lunch a few times and have always had a great dining experience. I usually start with the hummus and baba ghannouj with pita. The hummus is excellent and the baba ghannouj is one of the best I've ever had with the pomegranate garnish adding a beautiful tart contrast. The pita was hot out of the oven. For entrees, I've had the Kafta which is essentially a flatbread pizza with a lamb patty, topped with yogurt sauce. It's a delicious option, especially if you are not too hungry for a large platter. I've also had their lamb pita wrap which is excellent. The baklava looked really enticing, but I've been too full to try. You can tell they are homemade. Soon I will return for dinner. They have outdoor covered seating. They follow standard covid practices with all employees wearing masks and sanitize tables after use. They have have sanitizer at the counter as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
Excellent, relax, exquisite and pretty authentic restaurant-cafe style with Lebanese food. There are plenty of combinations from lamb, chicken, beef or you can have them “sólo”. The portions are humongous. Price excellent. Chicken is soft as butter. Bread is to die for. Parking can be busy during pick hours (lunch may be dinner) I’m glad to see that this type of restaurants offering excellent and different food other than Latin and Caribbean are flourishing in southwest Miami. Friendly polite staff. Don’t miss this one
By far the best Lebanese food in miami Surprisingly !! this small place has very good and fresh Lebanese food than any other Lebanese in Miami, and made it to the Yelp best 50 restaurants. The Meat pies and the Lamp Sandwich also the fried Kibbe and Baba Ghannouj are outstanding !!! after eating a lots we felt light,,, very light and that is what we call a real fresh food. on the top of all these goodies a friendly staff managed by a nice, friendly and generous owner Mr Ali. We keep going back to this outstanding restaurant and it’s perfectly cooked Lebanese food We love it here where we feels like eating at home
The service was excellent, they recomend me 3 delicious traditional plates, the bread was amazing same the lamb. GREAT FOOD FOR TWO AND WE ONLY SPEND $27! My only recommendation is to upgrade the aluminum chairs they are not very comfortable.
Great great food. It's part of a small outdoor food hall.l basically. It tasted like everything is homemade. I missed the tabbouleh & humus this time. So they make fresh everyday and sells out. Must be good! I have to return earlier to try that salad though
Amazing Lebanese food! You can’t go wrong here, everything is delicious. My husband and I recommend their kafta, hummus, babaganough, Lahm bi Ajeen, cheese with sujuk (photo below) and their lamb sandwich. We tell all our friends about this place and have brought a few to try it already. Absolutely love their food! Photos are: Lahm bi Ajeen, cheese with sujuk, and their baklava.
I 100% recommend anyone to come here that wants fresh and traditional Lebanese food. The staff was very respectful and the atmosphere of this restaurant is 10/10. The hummus with the pomegranate is the best!
Oh my goodness. This was amazing. I can’t tell you exactly what I ate because I said “serve me whatever you would eat” I believe it was a lamb wrap/sandwich of some sort with a bit of spiciness. I also had Hummus and Baba Ghanoush the owner even thought me how to eat it correctly. His friendliness and heart and passion for his craft is seen and tasted in every bite.
Looking for a casual, authentic, Lebanese hangout in Miami? L👀K no further! At Al-Amir on 64th Avenue & Bird Road, you will not be disappointed! It is a mama & papa eatery that serves fresh-baked flat bread with just as fresh & tasty toppings! The place is beaming with friendly Middle-Eastern patrons & families — three of whom we got to mingle with — which proves they must be good! So don't just take it from me, check it out for yourself. We had several random dishes, from lahm bil ajeen, labneh & hummus/baba ghannouj to walnut/fig cookies & my favorite, baklava! Did I mention the super competitive prices & friendly service? It deservingly earned a 5⭐️ from me!
The best Lebanese food ever, I did know about this place although it was there near from me for two years. I’ve heard my friends talk about it and O gave it a try. I used to go all the way to Fort Lauderdale to get some authentic Arabic food. Mr. Ali the owner of Al-Amir Lebanese Forno is a respectful gentleman and knows the secrets of the authentic Lebanese food. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is interested in Arabic food. He has some orders not on the menu but you should try them. Like beef with cheese pizza and egg with cheese too they are the best for me. The place has a beautiful air conditioned out side seats and the prices is very reasonable. They do have a good assortment of delicious desserts and I highly recommend baklava.
Lebanon hidden gem! I finally found a delicious Lebanese food in the city, amazing service, home made pita from the oven to the plate, you can tell you are getting the real flavor on every bite, can't wait to come back for another mouthwatering plate.
If you’re looking for some high quality, affordable Lebanese / Mediterranean food around Bird Road / West Miami area, this is the only place that will satisfy your taste buds! Lamb melts in your mouth and staff educates you on the ways to eat meals and suggestions if you ask. I usually get the lamb or beef short rib platter and plan to make this a weekly lunch spot. Try their tropical mint tea as well; they got the goods!
Best Lebanese food in south Florida. You have to try the chicken and lamb platter, all the sandwiches, the zaatar, hummus, and baba ghannouj. The deserts are the best! I love Baklava and knafe (cheese with semolina) is super delicious 🤤 All food is prepared fresh. The owner and the employees are very nice and treat all customers very well. EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
We found this out of the blue. The food was amazing. Has inside and outside dining areas. Reasonably priced. All freshly made. Casual atmosphere.
LOVE THE ZAATAR!!! I found this place recently and have been back 4 times in 3 weeks because I really love the zaatar with veggies, so flavorful and delicious. The owner is very personable and super interesting if you get the chance to have a conversation with him. He really makes us feel welcome.
Amazing place Very hospitable owner Real Lebanese food منقوشة I can’t believe it’s existed for more the year and half and never visited till today This is a must visit if you like Lebanese food, the service and fresh bread are amazingly delicious it’s still hot and fresh I am full and I can’t stop eating Sorry empty plates couldn’t have time to take pictures

My family has been coming to Al-Amir since it opened, and I'm truly thrilled to see how much other people love the delicious, freshly-made food they make with such passion! There really is little else that brings people of various cultures and beliefs together like amazing food, after all. I'd like to thank Ali, the owner, for his hospitality and generosity. God bless him and, of course, his mother!
If only I had taken photographs. But you know what, the flavors are first class. This is the best Lebanese food I have ever Ali the proprietor will be happy to make suggestions and you will be thrilled that he did. Don't miss this place!
Best baba ghanouj in town. Tried quite a few l but this place has the best. Shawarma sandwich is good, very simple. But I prefer mine with more veggies. But this place is a must try and the owner is super involved with his customers. He makes good recommendations if it's your first time.
Where do I even begin? From the moment we arrived, the owner was hands on. He picked out everything we should eat. We had the half hummus half Baba, the Kibbeh and a pizza looking thing with half beef half lamb. OH MY GOD. Literally the best Lebanese food I have EVER had. He finished our amazing meal with some delicious baklavas. WOW! I will totally be coming back. But honestly the service was what stole my heart. He was amazing from start to finish. What an experience. Living in miami, good service is hard to come by, and he exceeded all expectations. Cannot wait to come back and try more things. Unfortunately I barely took any pictures because the food was so amazing and we dove right in. I TOTALLY recommend. Please take the time to go there and enjoy an amazing authentic meal.
Great food! Awesome service. I highly recommend it. Very casual and affordable, the food is homemade and fresh. For beginners ask at front and they will help you choose. The hummus and baba ganoush are a must try. Great spot for a quick lunch or just for food to go.
Delicious homemade Lebanese cuisine. Everything I've tried on the menu is fantastic and for the prices it's really amazing. Highly recommend you check out Al-Amir!
Best hummus & baba ghanoush and the bread was so fresh. They were out of zatar but the lamb sandwiches were very good. The baklava is not doused in honey and also very fresh. The owner Ali was attentive and generous. We bought extra to take home and eat the next day.
This is by far the best Lebanese place. I’ve been to in Miami. The food is phenomenal and remind me Of the food from Lebanon brought back a lot of memories very very happy. I found this place strongly recommended.
Very good tasting food. Portions were more than enough to satisfy all of us. Prices were absolutely affordable. Service was great. Definitely would recommend coming here to try the food out.
I would give them 6 stars if I could! This is my first Google review in more than 15 years of having a Google account, and well worth it. Everything we tried was DELICIOUS. With an open mind, we let the owner guide us and tell us about the food and what we should try today as our first time. The hummus, the baba ganoush, the pita bread, the kibbeh, and last but not least THE LAMB! I've tried lamb before, never liked it, cooked different ways by different cultures, never liked it... until today. We ate for about an hour, and there were only 2 other new customers that walked in, the rest (about 4 or 5) were regulars that greeted the owner as old friends do. Amongst many reasons, THIS is one beautiful and delicious reason why this country is only made better by immigrants.
The food is fresh, delicious and the service is fast. The staff is pleasant & their prices are very reasonable. Their pitas are fresh & served steaming hot. I can't wait to go back.
Food was amazing I was telling my husband I've never tasted such amazing flavor when I ate a sandwich. I felt like I was being so spoiled by the owner, not only he read my mind about how I like my food but he was on top of my whole family being treated as if we were guests at his home. Did I mention the food is delicious? Haha
This place is/was off the charts. Best food I’ve had in Miami. But last time I went, there was construction and it looked like everything was being torn down. Does anyone have any updates!?!?
I ordered dinner from Al Amir for my daughters 20 birthday party. The flavors that Ali is able to make can't be compared to anything else The quality of the food is A +. IIf I could post more than 5 ✨ stars I would have✨I posted the same review in YELP BUT somehow yelp decides not to recommend my review. I don't appreciate that. The explanation was that my review was too wordy and too positive. How can that be possible ? I wanted to rate the restaurant they deserve the 5 stars I gave them. How can a review be too good to be true ????😳😳😳
Since coming back from the UAE, I haven't found a decent Arabic restaurant until this one. This place doesn't have an extensive menu but what it offers is great. The shawarmas, manakeesh, hummus and pita bread are delicious. The best part it is very affordable and open till 5pm everyday.
Great spot. The owner kept checking in if all was good. Kibbah was on point. The flat breads were fresh out of oven and tasty. Ask for hot sauce to spice things up!
This is our favorite place to have yammy lunch with my kids. The owner truly cares to make sure you are welcomed and your dish is delicious. We love coming here 5 stars all the way!!!
Is a family operated restaurant where every single dish is made with love and dedication. There are not enough words to compliment this awesome little jewel in Bird rd. Best food . The owners are awesome. The service is superp. I wish them most success and continue growing. Ps is a must go place to eat highly recommended
Amazing food! My husband and I visited this place a few months ago..we were very satisfied...very tasty.Have you try their sweets? You should definitely.Thank you Ali sir for a wonderful experience. See ya soon!
Came and ordered the chicken platter. By far the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life, both the taste and how it was cooked. Come here occasionally and have never been disappointed with anything on the menu or staff
Great little restaurant in the southwest area. More like a take out kind of setting with only some 4 tables outdoor but very clean and food here is super good. Lamb sandwich was perfect and labneh with fresh bread also very good.
What a hidden Gem!!! Great confort, homemade style Lebanese food. The owner/manager, Mr. Ali, is very passionate about his food, he's in and out of the kitchen and give his touch/inspection to everything served. I found myself closing my eyes sometimes to deeply experience the explosion of flavors and textures. Couldn't decide what was my favorite: Kibe, Hummus & Babaganoush with truly fresh homemade Naan, lamb sandwiche OMG!!! The Baklava is made fresh daily and it is out of this world!!!! Definitely try it!
This place has the best Lebanese food you can get. They slow cook their chicken to perfection and after a meal like that you're going to want to go back again and again. I highly recommend the chicken platter. It comes with a slow cooked chicken, pickles and tomatoes, hummus, tahini, a garlic and spicy sauce, and 2 pita. The meal is divine and I would go here everyday if I didn't live so far. But I still make that drive. Its worth it.
We were here last year with my husband and I liked this place! The owner was very friendly and gave us a lot of attention. He explained us how to eat some food. Looking forward to visit this place again! The only thing this place is kind of small.
Awesome food. Owner gave us tip on how to prepare food portions using flat bread and sauces provided. We had lamb and chicken platter. Soooo good. Baclava was best we ever had. My only complaint is that menu should have a picture of platter or describe what you get. You won’t be disappointed!
Wow! A must stop if you are in the area. Delicious Lebanese food, and the owner was so friendly. He explained and let us try foods we were not familiar with. Don’t be intimidated to try this food, eating here is like taking a vacation for 1/1000th of the price. The chicken plate was our favorite dish. Extraordinary.
First time here. Ali (owner) ordered for me and did not steer me wrong. The baba ganouj was amaaaaazing. And the baklava at the end to top it off was absolutely delish. All freshly baked delicious and authentic food. Will come again and again for sure. Thanks Ali!! (Also provided me with my own personal AC for outside lol)
Best real Lebanese food of life! Tried both the lamb and chicken platters! The chef personally came to the table and demonstrated the correct way to eat it in the Lebanese traditional way. The lamb and chicken were extremely tender and the homemade hot sauce is addictive! The mint tea was extremely delicious! The service was the best! The outdoor ambience is romantic considering it is a counter service food court. I almost forgot that the Baclava was the best and freshest I've ever had and I used to live next to a an Arabic supermarket. This is an inexpensive foodie level destination restaurant.
My mother and I came today to try something different. Let me tell y'all, the food, the location and the PEOPLE there are just absolutely AMAZING! The treatment given here is the best that I've ever received. Eating here reminded me of the countries that I've been to. If you come here, make sure to start a conversation with Ali. He is incredibly jolly, positive and full of ambition. The food he makes will not disappoint.
I was only able to get pita and hummus. In their defense, I think they were closing within a 30 minute time frame. The pita was absolutely fresh and hot. My only complaint is I wish the hummus had a little grit to it. It was very creamy which is not my preference, but it still tasted wonderfully flavorful and fresh. I don’t know which complimented which: the pita or the hummus. Will definitely be back for pita and zaatar.
Basically anything you order will be great, fresh out of the oven, this has become my routine breakfast and lunch on the weekends! I would not hesistate to eat here every day if I could but can’t come during the week unfortunately. Very happy I found this place when I moved to Miami. Whenever any of my friends come over, I know where to take them and always confident they’ll be extremely happy with the food.
Phenomenal! Lamb platter, humus, and baba ghanoush were on a different level I haven’t tasted in the states. The baklava was the icing on the cake. The owner also made the experience. Thank you!! Must stop visit in Miami ✨
This was my 1st time here. The service, food, & staff were amazing! I was not sure what to order but the owner was super friendly & made great suggestions. Great tasting & inexpensive! We will definitely be going back. 👍👍
We love this place! Best babaganoush in town and probably everywhere. Fresh baked pita bread with each order (as applicable) and the owner is usually always there with his warm exceptional service.
We ordered the chicken lamb plate, and labane. Thelb was really really good, the chicken was meh, but it's our fault for ordering chicken. Tahini, hummus, labane, and pitas were really good, we will definitely come back here, the deserts were great- Did it ever happen to you that you didn't eat something for ages but still remember the taste? The maamoul tasted like I remembered it, just for that, 5 stars
We have passed by Al Amir hundreds of times but never stopped. After reading the uniformly positive review online we finally went for lunch and we could not have been more pleased. Since it was our first time, the very charming and engaging owner made recommendations which we gladly followed. The hummus and baba ghanoush were both outstanding, as was the light pita it was served with. We shared the lamb sandwich and the kefta wrap. Both were tasty and flavorful. The owner showed extraordinary hospitality, making sure we felt welcome and satisfied. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Freshly baked pita. That should be enough to convince you to go, but if not, I'll add that this simple spot makes the best mediterranean food in Miami. The only time I've had something comparable was when I stayed with a Palestinian friend and got to enjoy his mother's cooking. Also, the owner is gracious and is humble enough to actively seek feedback on his dishes. Will definitely be back soon.
Wow. Came here on a whim and was not disappointed. In fact, it was one of the best meals I've had. Period. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The owner is friendly and generous. Will come back for sure! So glad to have found this place.
I ordered the chicken platter expecting standard fare. WRONG. The chicken FALLS off the bone. You don’t even need a knife it pulls apart!! Everything we ordered was awesome.
Best Lebanese bakery in Florida hands down!! And I’ve been to different cities in Florida n tried the Arabic food everywhere. I’ve been coming here since they opened in 2017! Same consistent flavors, quality n service since day 1! Everything is made fresh every day from scratch! Takes me back to our middle eastern countries! I’ve tried everything on their menu n all is amazing! I have used them for many catering events!! My guests are always happy n satisfied after eating the food n shocked with the flavors!! Thank u for ur hospitality n ur delicious food!
This place is hands down spectacular in every aspect of a restaurant. The service and food are superior. The pitas are fresh, the kibbeh is the best I've ever had, hummus and baba ganoush are the best, just everything I've had here is amazing. We've introduced friends and they are also hooked now.
I have been coming here since the week they opened, and I really should have written this ages ago. This is one of my favorite local restaurants, and such a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff is great, and the food is always delicious and fresh. I can't visit without ordering the Baba Ghanouj or a Cheese with Sujuk, those are definitely two of my favorites.
One of THE very best Lebanese restaurants in South Florida. Everything is made in house every morning, from the chicken to the baklava. Hummus and babaganoush are top class and pita is made to order. Very kind and attentive owner and staff. Number 1 quality.
Truly a one of a kind gem. You will not find deliciousness like this anywhere else in Dade County. Tiny casual outdoor seating only so don't expect white tablecloth type service, but the staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. We love the pizzas(yes all of them) though the vegetable one is my current favorite. The hummus and baba ganush are also great.
Some of my favorite Lebanese food in Miami, this place is an absolute gem! I usually get the lamb platter and the chicken platter to share, with plenty left over for a snack or meal later. Everyone who works there is super lovely and will even give you tips on how to assemble your platter correctly and the correct order of all the sauces. You also got to try the baba ganoush, its so creamy and they top it with pomegranate seeds that make every mouthful that much more delicious. See if you get pick up some baklava as well, it tends to run out as the day goes on, but its the perfect thing to end your meal with.
If you like Lebanese food, give yourself a treat and visit. They have amazing food, and by far their baba ganoush is the best I’ve ever eaten. Their food is freshly made and their service is cordial and fast. I cannot convey how much I enjoy eating their food.
Delicious food. Everything was fresh and made to order. The Kibbeh and lamb platter were fantastic. As was the Kafta. The owner was kind enough to come to our table and show us the best way to enjoy our food. Afterwards, I was so full, I didn't think I had room for dessert. However, the owner insisted I try the baklava and generously gave me one for free. I definitely recommend Al-Amir.
Amazing first experience. They took the time to first explain the menu. Then after I made my selection the food was brought to me and they showed me the best way to enjoy it for optimal taste. I will be coming back and highly recommend.
Al-Amir has fast become our favorite Lebanese stop. My daughter says the hummus is the best she’s ever had and loves the Lebanese cheese pizza. We love the sandwiches which are different from normal gyros or shawarmas and taste healthier. The baba Ganaoush is also excellent. The service is warm and the owner is always present. Highly recommend this place.
Love this little place with BIG flavor. I recommend it 100%. I had the meat and lamb platter, and it did not disappoint. Their desserts are delicious and fresh as well. Loved the attentive and courteous staff, also. I felt I was at home having a home cooked meal.
Love this place. For the longest, I had only eaten take-out from here because my boss treats me to it often. Several weeks ago, I decided to physically have lunch here with my husband and it was even more amazing! The owner even came out and showed us how to pair the sauces that were served with the food on our platters. Tasty food, amazing service, and affordable! Must try!
Just left.... PERFECT! Food was delicious!!! Loved everything. All the food came out quick. 100% recommending this to others! Desserts hand made and very delicious! Service was awesome. Not pricey at all. Came with my family of five and only paid $50 for a lot of food. Owner was always making sure eveything was okay and he was funny and very charismatic. It was very clean and very neat.Owner even gave us a free dessert and we enjoyed it very well❤️
Stopped here for brunch, and was impressed with the service, quality of food, and welcoming atmosphere. When I first arrived, I was unsure what I wanted to order, so the owner brought out several samples of different things for the group to try. Ended up ordering multiple items on the menu, everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend giving this place a try to anyone. Quick note: There is only outdoor seating available, although it is covered. You can also do takeout.
This is a roadside Lebanese restaurant with outdoor seating only, next to an Argentine steakhouse with the same setup. The chicken is so good I can't even consider trying anything else but a few sides. The pita bread is served hot and is also delicious.
We ate here on vacation and did not regret it. The guy was awesome because we have not eaten Lebanese food a lot. He made it a great experience. He gave us some recommendations and I got the chicken. It was actually amazing. I am a stickler for good chicken that isn't fried. Large serving size and good prices.
We stopped by today for the first time on our way back to Orlando. We stopped by this place based on a recommendation from some friends who live in Miami. Not sure what to say, but WOW! Food was the best I've tasted at any Middle Eastern restaurants in the US. You think a grandma made it with love and 60 plus years of experience. Everyone we dealt with was super nice. The environment is great overall. The owner came out and checked on all guests in person and exceeded all our expectations by miles. Mr. Ali, the owner, prepares everything himself and makes sure everything is up to specs. We had a great conversation with him and found him to be a very customer oriented, business owner that can lecture others on the subject of customer satisfaction, customer care, and generosity. Thank you all again we will come back!
The freshest tastiest bread and baked products you can find. They mostly only have outdoor seating (it's what i prefer anyway). Everything is delicious and fresh. The only complaint is that I wish they had a real espresso machine.
Incredible Mediterranean food. The chicken platter is a must and their homemade pita bread is fantastic. Lamb sandwich was also delicious. The owner (I think) was so kind and told us the correct/best way to eat the chicken platter. Great food/experience. Definitely going back.
What an incredible experience! From the service to the food everything was perfect and exquisite. The owner helped us pick a few items from the menu and we are so glad because we tried items we would have normally not picked. The kibbeh, hummus and babaganoush and we also tried one of the pizzas with lamb and beef absolutely amazing!!! All the sauces were delicious and the baklava was the best I’ve ever tried. Strongly recommend, we will definitely be back!!!
Excellent fast Arabic food. The owner is warm and friendly and very accommodating. Food is awesome. Bread is freshly made, beef sandwich is simple but significant, hummus with meat is very good. You won’t regret visiting. You can be in and out in 20 mins. Chef’s kiss
It’s been 8 years looking for these flavors. Little did i know it was so close to home! I used to drive miles to have a decent manoushi. Being lebanese the hardest thing to leave behind is the flavors the country brings and I’m very happy to say i found a piece of home at Al-Amir Lebanese food. Fresh, exquisite and OG thank you guys you guys are the best ❤️🇱🇧 BEST KNEFEH AROUND TOO
First thing , I arrived 15 minutes till they are about to close the dine in area. They have already cleaned and moved away the dine in tables. Ali received me and when he knew I drove 24 minutes from my hotel for his restaurant, he sat up a table, kept himself and crew over time, even though it old him he really doesn't have to! The food was prompt and delicious. My children loved every bite of it! The bread was fresh off the oven, the Hummus was the closest I tasted to those made back home. But above all, the service, the hospitality is an emblem of Middle Eastern / Arab culture, and I feel proud to say Ali really represented us! . I would absolutely come back here the next time I visit from Las Vegas! Thank you for great service and delicious food.
If you have never been here GRAB YOUR KEYS, GET IN YOUR CAR, AND HURRY! It’s the best Lebanese food in Miami. Owner is exceptionally kind and welcoming. Best hummus, best lamb, and even if you hate baklava… you need to try it because it’s that good. Forget the rest, this is the best.
This place is delicious! Among many other delicious things we tried, we had the lamb sandwiches and they were tender and flavorful. The baklava was perfectly sweet, allowing you to actually to taste the nuts and spices. I will definitely come back to try the pizza.
Really great Arabic style flatbreads. Everything tasted fresh and was made from scratch. It’s authentic Arabic staple food. Nice ambiance in the dining area. They could do much better on the ordering side of things. Enjoyable and great portions.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE EAT here! My 10 year old son really wanted to try Mediterranean food and there weren't very many options around us and so we decided to try what was closest. We ordered an array of their food and between the both of us we finished and I mean licked all of the plates! The service was impeccable the woman (whom I did not catch her name) came out and showed us how to eat it and the lamb was chefs kiss. The pita is also made fresh. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. Al-Amir thank you for the wonderful experience :)

We ordered two lebanese flat breads as if they were pizzas (pesto & cheese, and cheese with sujuk) and a platter of beef and lamb. The food was great and plenty for the cost. In addition, the service was fast and friendly. We'll certainly come back to try the baklava and maamoul

The craving for Lebanese food kicks in and I stopped at Al-Amir. I was greeted by a nice lady right away. I ordered a Lamb platter and it was delicious tasty. The flat bread is served piping hot like no other place in South Florida.I’m so glad that I stopped by and experienced this place.
Stopped by for lunch, we had the lamb sandwich one spicy and one regular and regular chicken sandwich. To me the sandwich needed more flavor to it. My daughters said the chicken sandwich tasted like fish. I don’t recall what the round things are called but also needed flavor they were tasteless even with the sauce that was provided with it. The medium spicy sauce if good 👍

I really wanted to like the food at Al-amir. But the food isn't perfect, as the owner had tried to claim in his response. Can't improve if you're not open to feedback. I thought the food there was overall was just okay. Felt quite disappointed because the person who took my order seemed to take pride in their food. I asked her if the beef short rib was juicy because it looked a bit stringy in the pictures. She said that it was juicy and I ordered that, along with the lamb. The proteins were both quite dry and either overcooked or they were out for a while. However, I liked the baba ghanouj a lot as it was smoky and had pomegranate seeds. The hummus and kibbe were solid as well. Adding an extra star because it seems family-owned.
First of all this more like a food court place. It is not worth the money, got several manakeeh and honestly the ones I make at home are 100% better. Just get gyro bread and make your own zattar, or use quesa blanco cheese. The meat pies we're not spiced up at all. Will not return. Also ask about the new prices, menu is out of date.
I love, love, love Lebanese food. Grew up on it. This place got great reviews. Decided to try it. Won't be back. We ordered three different meals and a beef/lamb platter. Nothing was worth the drive, and we live nearby! The break of the meals was not cooked enough. The portions very small and nothing tasted particularly wonderful. Service was disappointing too. No one. seemed particularly happy we were there nor anxious to take our order. When I provided honest feedback after being asked how things were, the staff member (or owner?) wasn't phased and seemed like he could care less. Maybe the place has changed hands? Maybe we picked a bad day? Won't be back to find out.

Horrible experience… ALL THESE 4-5 stars are bought. 100% The attitude and customer service is the WORSE I’ve even experienced!!! Not only was placing the order a nightmare but after having lunch they asked us to clean up the tables After leaving 15.00 tip for a 38.00 bill Even the people sitting around us said not to do it “ we cleaned up anyways “ Arrogance is an understatement!!! HIGHLY Recommend the Argentinian place next door Extremely caring and best customer service !!!
The food was good and we cleaned our table as always when we go any restaurant. But the owner treated us as kids since we are a family 2 adults and 2 kids. He shouted us to come to the table when the food served and we was on pizza store to buy out children a pizza since don’t like Arabic food. I hate how he treats us and that was the third. To the owner you be taking care for all customers not only the local customers even the foreign arab customers. We ordered alot to eat lunch and dinner at the night in home, we don’t care about money because your products are valuable but attitude and how to talk with customers are more important even if they arab!!!😊
The 1st time I try to the was wonderful the food was great but after that it went completely downhill. Is plus I ordered the short ribs bladder and it tasted like recycled Garbage.. I was looking forward to the food I guess anticipation is better than realization with this place.
To sum up my experience. The lady behind the counter had a bit of an attitude when I asked about subbing an item. 2 kibbeh (small), 2 beef platter (very small portion) ~$50. The platter portion was a joke, the pickled veg it came with was very forgettable, the steak was drowning and grease and lacked seasoning. Nobody seemed like they wanted to be there. The trash was overflowing and full of flies. I’ve seen enough.
Over rated! High prices for little amount of low quality food, find another place. And service was like they are doing you a favor, will never go back for sure there are many other places in Miami that serves quality Lebanese food.
What happened here? This place used to be good… today the dough had no salt in it, tasted almost raw and the chicken in my wrap looked like it went through a food processor. The Zaatar tasted like it had been sitting there for a while… So disappointing. Whatever changed, please go back to whatever you were doing before.
I have been there before. I never felt comfortable there because the owner was always staring at the girls in the way that we just wanted to leave there. I decided take out the food since that time. Note that the quality has gotten down... I just had a new experience today which i really want to share with everyone this time because I saw that it's google review went down during this year and maybe other people have had the same experience. I ordered three dishes over the phone this morning and he said it would be ready in 15 min. I got there on time and he said one of the food is not ready but I can substitute that with another one and because I was in hurry I accepted that. After 20min waiting (!!!!) even the new food was not ready and when I told him (he was talking to a girl again and staring badly:)) ) you told me that the other food that you substituted is ready. He finally stopped talking to the girl and gave me the food but when I got home I figured out that he did not put that dish in my bag. I really have headache from that guy..... I know the owner comes back and leave comment for this review like other latest low reviews but it is what it is and I believe that the good reviews are fake!!
